An accusation that is always put in the room, that Pink Floyd copy themselves. An accusation that goes exactly in the other direction, that you move away too much from their roots. . This shows that all criticism is actually nonsense! Why should musicians not be allowed to copy themselves? And why should musicians not be allowed to deviate from their known line? . Another accusation is the band's perfectionism. Pink Floyd were already perfect in the 1970s, but here and there inconsistencies crept in, which gave the works a certain charm. On "The Division Bell" Pink Floyd play better and more perfect than ever. . It is a great disc on which the three remaining Pink Floyd members that they have not forgotten anything but have even become better. . The result is not a new prog rock album, nor a post psychadelic trip. The Division Bell is in contrast to the Work of the 1970s "The Piper at the Gates of Dawn", "A Saucerful Of Secrets", "More", "Ummagumma", "Atom Heart Mother", "Relics", "Meddle", "Obscured By Clouds", "The Dark Side of the Moon", "Wish You Were Here" or even "Animals" or “the Wal”l no masterpiece, The just listed extra ordinary masterpieces can neither be surpassed by Pink Floyd themselves let alone by anyone. "The Division Bell" is simply perfectly made and damn good rock music of the highest quality to be appreciated. If a completely unknown band had created "the Division Bell", then surely all extreme storms of enthusiasm would have broken out among the self proclaimed music experts - whoa, they sound as grandiose as Pink Floyd... . . . . .

Cincuenta años de "The Dark Side Of The Moon". . Eric Clapton, Nick Mason y más firman una petición para que se revoque la prohibición de conciertos de Roger Waters. . Fueron Eric Clapton, Nick Mason, Brian Eno, Peter Gabriel, entre otros, firman una petición de más de 10.000 firmas para que levanten el veto para actuar en Frankfurt a Roger Waters, acusado presuntamente de antisemita. . La petición en Change.org fue iniciada por la comentarista política Katie Halper y ha sumado a su iniciativa a músicos mencionados. . Más allá de estos músicos, también han firmado la petición Noam Chomsky, Susan Sarandon, Ken Loach o Alexei Sayle. La petición explica que lo que hace Waters es criticar el trato de Israel a los palestinos como "defensa a largo plazo en nombre de los derechos humanos en todo el mundo" y que todos "en todo el mundo, independientemente del color de su piel o la profundidad de sus bolsillos, merecen los mismos derechos humanos". . Las firmas están en la web Change.org . En un comunicado oficial compartido con sus fans en redes sociales, Waters adelantó recientemente que tomará medidas legales para poder recuperar esa cita y celebrar finalmente el show suspendido unilateralmente. Entre otras cosas el músico dijo: ..."Quiero dejar constancia y zanjar de una vez por todas que no soy y nunca he sido antisemita, y nada de lo que alguien pueda afirmar o publicar cambiará eso. Mis opiniones hechas públicos se relacionan completamente con las políticas y acciones del Gobierno israelí y no con los pueblos de Israel"... .
