Music in Jackass
Probably everyone and their mother is familiar with Jackass- the TV show / movie series consisting of grown men doing the most stupid stunts one could imagine !
while that is the basis of the appeal of the show, something very different has always struck out to me...
THE MUSIC CHOICES
In an interview it was once mentioned, that Johnny Knoxville, the master of mischief himself, made most of the music choices himself !
Some honorable music-mentions :
Johnny Knoxville's Ramones Shirt
The Jackass theme being "Corona" by "Minutemen", a classic punk band
"Johnny are you queer" playing doing the "anaconda ballpit" stunt (having resulted in countless replaying of the stunt )
The Jackass cast having a song with Weezer- I never thought a Weezer song would make me emotional
Are there any iconic moments I missed ?
message me and I'll make another post

259: I’m not lazy. I really can’t dance.
Image description: a three panel comic with polaroid frames. The panel shows the disorted picture of a vending machine in a red lit room. Graffiti tags are written all over the place. the text on the panel reads: “We’ve been here more often then I’d like to admit. You, dancing to the music. Me, unable to move my feet. Both, wasted as hell.” Text underneath reads: “J. krupitza / inspired by asofterworld.com” end Image description
