AN: I was gonna make this ongoing, slow burn story, but I didn't touch it for a month and forgot the plan for it so it just got smutty. He continues watching you two poke at each other and laugh. Levi debated stopping in his tracks and returning home. He was already falling behind.

Before he could stop completely you turned around and held your hand out to him, “Come on!” His face grew red, but slowly he took your hand and you pulled him up by you. It wasn’t long till he was also subjected to the same poking and jokes he was observing earlier.

Eventually you all made it to the party. Loud music blared from within the house. Mammon ran up the steps and opened the doors, he motioned for the both of you to follow. The bass from the music shook the house, the flashing rainbow lights made it hard to see. Mammon led you two through the crowd of demons before vanishing. You call for him but your voice travels nowhere. You quickly turn around to maybe see Levi, but he’s no where to be seen. Being the only human at the party, you’re a little anxious.

Every time you turned around there were demons looking at you with hungry eyes. All of them were drooling at the thought of getting a piece of you. You were truly scared, Mammon nor Levi were there to protect you and you were far too frazzled to use your summoning's for them.

A hand is placed on your shoulder, you jump and turn to look at who it was. A lower ranked demon smiles at you, he leans down to your ear, “You alright? I don’t think you should be by yourself here.”

You cusp your hands around his ear and explain what happened, "Ah- you lost your friends? I think I saw one of them in the corner over there, I can bring you back to him if you'd like." Said the demon.

You nod your head, "Yes please!"

The demon takes your hand and leads you out of the overwhelming crowd to Levi, who was indeed standing in the corner, frantically typing on his phone.

"Levi!" You yell over the music.

He looks up from his phone and his face goes from panic to relief seeing that you're okay, "MC!" It doesn't take him long to see the demon holding your hand, and his jealousy spikes up. He decides to look past it for now.

You let go of the demons hand and run up to Levi, "Where did you go?" You ask him.

ngl, i kinda completely forgot i had this wip going until this tag game lol

Homo et Draconia is a Tim Drake-centric fic (shocker /s) in a kemonomimi type world where people have a secondary species. Tim is, of course, a dragon, and develops typical dragon hoarding tendencies, except the thing he hoards is people. It's a low-key high-key stalker!Tim character study, but the fun part about writing it is that most of the exposition is provided by in-universe sources, like blog updates, articles in scientific journals, elementary school writing assignments, etc. Here's a little snippet!

It is important to acknowledge the extent of profiling within the psychiatric community in regards to second species. It is tempting to attribute certain behaviors to an individual’s latent non-homo sapien DNA, but even behaviors that are commonly associated with a certain second species can have causes completely unrelated to genetics. However, it is still essential for individuals to be aware of any health risks that may be associated with their particular second species. There is a delicate balance to be struck between predisposition and socialization. Ok so this is def gonna be some sort of FOB blog now. My hyperfixation has returned babyyy (and I really hope this one sticks around for a while).

Anyway.

I think we need to give more love to American Beauty/American Psycho. Like I know on Spotify that it’s technically their most popular album but tbf we can probably all agree that that’s because of Centuries. There’s also Uma Thurman which is pretty popular (for good reason, it’s a BANGER) but the rest of the album deserves some love too.

Irresistible is lowkey my strut song, I love it so much.

The title track (AB/AP but I ain’t writing allat) took me a bit to get into but the bridge especially is actually such a good song? Currently playing it on repeat which is what prompted me to write this entire thing out.

Centuries is iconic and I love it I really do, it was how I found out about FOB and it deserves all the love it gets.

The Kids Aren’t Alright is honestly not really my fave but idk bro the lyrics really hit.

Uma Thurman gets me so hyped every time I hear it, I LOVE IT!

Jet Pack Blues is once more not as high energy as I usually like but they popped off with the lyrics “she’s singing ‘baby come home’ in a melody of tears while the rhythm of the rain keeps time”??? How did such a line get brainstormed and where do I get some of that absolute skill???

Novocaine is such an angry, gritty song and I don’t know what else I can say about it. Def one of my faves on the album but this is also lowkey my favorite album (lowkey, it’s not like I can just pick ONE 😥) so that tracks.

Fourth of July is ofc sad but it’s almost kinda cute if that makes sense? Like it makes me think of a cute romance that didn’t end so well. Not exactly the best vibes to bring to a Fourth of July part but you best believe I ABSOLUTELY will be adding it to the playlist.

Favorite Record is similar, but it almost feels like a more… homemade(?) sound. Softer might be a better word. Like the background instrument are kinda toned down or something. It expresses such a similar meaning in such a different way IDK

Immortals feels like the earlier part of a relationship that you know is technically doomed to fail but you really don’t want to let go of. All of the time references really cement that idea for me. There’s more I was going to say but I forgot it so.

Twin Skeleton’s (Hotel In NYC). Now what do I even say about this one? Honestly, I’ve run out of things to say right now but let’s just say that if I heard this one in concert I would probably die. S tier. No further notes.

Also this is maybe an important disclaimer: I have zero experience with love and I don’t intend to get any (aromantic babyyy 😍). So my analysis might be a bit inaccurate but who’s doing research for smth like this anyway?

TL;DR: y’all are SLEEPING on AB/AP, but also every album is equally good in its own way (altho I’m ngl I could never bring myself to listen to evening out with your girlfriend but someday I will, promise).

…yeah. I think it’s clear how not normal I am about this band.

I'm back!

hi everyone! wow.. it's been a while since i logged in here. how's everyone doing? i hope everyone's doing fine :) as for me, i moved to japan and i've finished language school! now i'm in my first year of college and final projects are piling up >< i'm taking design though so i'm having fun doing the projects so i think i'll be fine :D during that time i even worked at a hotel for part-time and quit just a couple weeks ago. a lot has happened, but i've grown a lot from the girl who started this blog a couple years back hahaha . ngl last year i tried to login here a couple times but forgot i had double authentication set up with my old number and since i've moved countries i wasn't able to access the number. after failing to login a couple times i kinda forgot about this acc whoops but last week i just remembered again so i tried contacting tumblr support. and they were so nice 🥺 they gave me access back without the 2-factor authentication! so now i can post regularly again hehe, it's nice to be back :)

A Wee Bit of Catching Up With This Mess

Soooo originally this was going to be a big post on my main tumblr blog @abyssforphantoms , but I got thinking about it and it just made more sense to make this on it's own blog and repost it over there if I feel like it... instead of spamming my main with this au stuff.

Anyway, Welcome to the mess that is my brain and They Came From The Deep Au. I will not be going too deep into the story in this post, but will do a short summary and explain my prosses behind my decent into madness with the various stuff I have accumulated for it over the year.

Summary:

After the final quest the Abyss Crew was fine. Cannoneer was back, safe with the rest of the crew, and they have gotten what they wanted when they went down to those accursed depths (even though they almost didn't make it back if it weren't for the skykid). So everything should be fine, back to status quo... right?

Well it was for a bit.

Then strange stuff started happening.

Supplies keep disappearing and shifting around the reef. The members of the crew feel like they are being watched from a distance, and the sea almost seems more restless. Every one has a sense of unease...

None more so then Cannoneer,

because of the weird dreams they keep having, and now the crew is saying they did things they didn't do. It was like they were at two places at once.

Then they saw it-them from a distance... they looked almost exactly them! but something was off...

Now it's up to Cannoneer to figure out what is going on, what does this doppelganger (a.k.a Doppelneer or Cannondoppel) want and convince the crew this isn't another one of their "embellished stories".

Meanwhile other things deep down start to stir... and they aren't going to be as "friendly".

And yes Doppelneer will be a big part of this post

I found the sticky note again and wanted to explore the design further in a one off piece (and then it wasn't, lmao)

I also got into exploring doppelgangers as an idea which lead to me having the questions

"If someone from the Abyss Crew had a doppelganger who would have the most interesting reaction?" (You can guess who I picked lol)

"What if the doppelganger wasn't nessasarly evil but thought they were the person and the person they are a doppelganger of was a doppelganger that took over their life, thus kinda wanting to sabotage the person's life a little?"
