Fun Fact
Kazakhstan’s Minister of Communications and Informatics has blocked the Tumblr site because it contained 60 sites of terrorism, extremism, and pornography in 2015.
heyyy this time it took multiple days for someone to get incredibly angry about their own bad faith interpretation of my mildly worded post about being nice to people
I noticed that @spooky-sharko ‘s human design of the heavy metal core and my own human design of the anger core for my portal au had a similar aesthetic, so I decided to draw them together. Hope you don't mind!
enda’s a britechester boy. he’s worked as the cashier in a little newsagent for the past six years, but it’s really not where he wants to be. he’s always had a passion for the arts. drawing, painting, sculpting, you name it. he’s recently gone back to pursue a college degree in fine arts and wants to hopefully make a living from selling his artwork.
romance and starting a family have just never made their way onto the cards for enda. of course there’ve been a few relationships in the past, however none of them have ever come to fruition. he’s coming to a stage now where he’s looking for something more stable, so finding the right partner to settle down with when he graduates is a top priority. renting out a cozy apartment, moving in with a significant other and raising a ridiculous amount of kittens is what he really wants for the future. no kids though, unless you can change his mind, but he’s pretty stubborn with his belief that a child is just way too much effort and responsibility.
First marathon complete ✅️ obvs we walked bc it was over fells and moors and bogs and was very very hilly but 26 miles is 26 miles!! I'm so proud of us 🤩
Here we are at the start line, 8am, bright eyed and bushy tailed
A rainbow on the other side of the first v steep, v rainy hill
The middle 10 miles or so were straight over the moors.. after the wettest March in 42 years.. so everything was so unbelievably boggy and saturated and unstable and sinky. People were just scrambling around the fells trying to find any remotely stable ground to walk on 😂
Of course someone was always going to fall into the bog.. that someone was me. I was the Bog Victim of our group. Full on Vicar of Dibley style, the ground just disappeared from under me. It was up to my chest and so so cold and stinky and disgusting. Thankfully that wasn't long before the halfway checkpoint so I was able to change into dry pants at least. Boggy knickers were not pleasant 🤣
2 more miles of bogs up to the highest point at 15 miles, then the last 11 miles on actual tracks 😍 The last 3 miles felt like an eternity bc my feet were so tired and sore by that point. But we did it! Collected our tshirts, changed into dry socks and shoes, ate chocolate before setting off home.
Matthew's mam made us dinner as we were picking Maggie up from there after they looked after her, and we got home about 10pm. Such a long day but so much fun! Had a lovely hot bubble bath and a really good scrub, and forced myself to stretch properly. Ending the day on 74k steps (new record!) and nearly 30 miles 🤯 time for bed 😴
Something I think about a lot is the dynamic Kazuma and Van Zieks would have after the events of 2-5. Like Kazuma is still working for him and like his apprentice but like- begrudgingly 💀
Like
Kazuma: I hate you. And you are a bad person. And you’re racist. And did I mention that I hate you
Van Zieks, getting used to this like it talk from him and knowing he deserves it: yes yes now did you file your paperwork
Cal Sets Program Record For Highest Team Score Ever
LOS ANGELES - The No. 3 California Women's Gymnastics Team sent a message that reverberated throughout California and beyond this week, putting on a breathtaking performance in a dominant 198.400-197.775 victory over No. 9 UCLA at Pauley Pavilion.
While a raucous crowd cheered on the Bruins' every move, the Golden Bears simply put together the best performance in program history - their team score of 198.400 surpassed their previous best of 198.275 set last season. Meanwhile, sophomore eMjae Frazier also made history with the best individual all-around score ever at Cal with a 39.825.
The Bears left little doubt it would be a memorable afternoon immediately, tying for the program's second best-ever score on the uneven bars with a 49.650. Cal had five gymnasts register at 9.9 or better, including four 9.95s.
The Bears then put up their second-best floor exercise score ever as well with a 49.675, highlighted by Frazier's first career 10 in the event. Cal once again had five gymnasts go 9.9 or higher.
Mya Lauzon recorded a perfect 10 of her own on beam, while Frazier came close again with a 9.975. For the third time in the meet, Cal went No. 2 all-time in the event with a 49.725. Five gymnasts again went at least 9.9.
Sunday's performance also marked the first time in program history the Bears have had two gymnasts record a 10 during the same meet.
Lauzon's all-around score of 39.700 was close to her career-best of 39.775, which she and Frazier both hit earlier this season that was the previous program record.
Ella Cesario set a career-best with an all-around score of 39.475 and Maddie Williams' 39.600 was a season-high.
