Correlation between Elain Archeron and Nephelle's philosophy.
First, let's remember what Nephelle's philosophy is. Azriel introduced us to this philosophy and in short, "the most unlikely person can change the course of history".
Then you ask me, ok, but what does this have to do with Elain??
Come here and I'll explain.
Let's focus on ACOWAR. Elain was almost catatonic, in a total state of shock, she didn't eat properly, she didn't talk to almost anyone, she didn't interact, she was just existing and helping when asked for help. She was totally weakened there. Elain was also always the sweetest of the sisters, she was always the one who saw everything with hope, the one who always expected the best from others, the one who was always kind and kind no matter how bad the person had been to her.
Alright, here we conclude that Elain, in general, is a peaceful person and that in acowar, in addition to being peaceful, she was still in a total state of shock.
But as life is not easy and not everything is flowers, the war came and Elain would not stay seated, she would have to go to the battlefield whether she wanted to or not, even because she had to help neutralize the cauldron.
Before that, Elain gets the truth teller in her hands, even though she doesn't want weapons, she gladly accepted that one and believing it could be useful. Just out there we see unlikely things, Azriel who never lent that dagger to anyone, decided to lend it to the most fragile of the sisters.
And well, that's when the course of history began to change. If she hadn't accepted the truth teller, the end of the story would have been totally different.
Now let's get down to business and Nephelle's true philosophy coming into play. The King had made it. Feyre was far away, Nestha was on the ground, Cassian was about to die, the girls' father was dead, he was about to kill Nestha, Cassian and all the rest. Then, in a totally unexpected moment, the most unlikely person, the "weak link", the biggest "weakness" of the army that was fighting that war came into the picture.
Elain Archeron, the girl who until recently didn't want to touch a gun, didn't talk to anyone, was fragile, broken, in shock. That Elain came out of a shadow and killed the King.
Elain Archeron, even though she was the weak link, even though she was considered too weak and fragile, changed the entire course of history.
Without her everyone would have died, without her there wouldn't be a Prythian anymore, without her there wouldn't be any more Nestha or Cassian or any of the characters we love.
Like Nephelle, Elain showed up at the last second and saved everyone, prevented an even greater tragedy from happening.
It could have been a freaking coincidence that Nephelle was introduced and in the same book it happened with Elain?? Certainly. I think it was?? Of course not.
SJM is, after all, queen of parallels and foreshadowings, her presenting us with the image of a person considered weak saving the "queen" of a place and then showing us Elain saving all of Prythian doesn't seem like much of a coincidence.
Anyway, I just wanted to comment on that and on how my wife, even all bruised inside, manages to be more incredibly badass than a lot of people and can literally be a milestone in everyone's life. Until because without her, without life.

Hello guys!
Today, I was wondering: imagine waking up and knowing that you live in one of the most beautiful and stunning court in all Prythian, where even the palace draws the attention of everyone who catches themselves to observe the grandeur of the court, because the palace found high in the clouds? Besides, the court is an important place, as it was where all the high lords gathered at the events of acowar... that was really interesting!

@nestaarcheronweek | Day Four: Lover
A swift shadow passed overhead, followed by a whisper of wings, and Nesta didn’t need to look to know who sailed high above, making sure all was safe. That she was safe.
Busybody. [...]
Her mate. Her love. Her friend. The light within her chest brightened to a radiant sun. – A Court of Silver Flames, Chapter 80
For today I wanted an illustration of Nesta and Cassian enjoying the tranquility of the House. This was, in fact, the first illustration that I commissioned with Pablo and when I saw how it turned out, I was unable to correctly order the words because of how impacted I was by the beauty of the illustration.

How cornered Nesta is.
When Nestha tells Bryce it's better to cooperate, you might have thought she meant it threateningly, but think about it. After all the abuse in ACoSF, it's quite possible that Nes said that because she tried to go against the IC and failed. They broke her by twisting the truth so many times, so much so that she started to just accept most of the time.
