i keep seeing posts about how jackles isn't homophobic but it's actually weirder and i get that he isn't homophobic and he's just got weird stuff going on but i don't know what the weird stuff...is? sorry if this is the wrong place but i was hoping someone could explain it to me lol

oh FUCK yeah, my brain thrives off of explaining spn stuff, okay someone pls correct me if i’m wrong but let’s get into the LoreTM

Okay so Jackles is almost definitely not homophobic, he played a bi poly character for a while, i don’t remember the name of the show but it was pre spn so like it was 90’s/early 2000’s

anyway,

stuff starts getting weird since season 1, because like there’s no real explanation for his acting choices other than that he was actively making dean seem gayer. Like the scene where sam says that dean is “kind of butch,” dean is supposed to tell sam to fuck off, and instead we get this weird smile thing to suggest that he is, as sam says, overcompensating for something?? And then Cas comes in and it’s like he has insane amounts of chemistry with this man and Continues to actively make things gayer. like all of the face touches we saw?? a jackles jacting joices they usually weren’t in the script, like editors had to cut stuff out because jensen was making his scenes with cas too gay.

And all of this could definitely be like normal behavior BUT

He’s always been vocal about opposing Gay/Bi readings of deans, the most recent on being 2 0 1 8, like fucking 2018???? (that was the ?No. situation). I mean his distaste for bi dean is obviously to the point where they had to ask his permission for cas to be gay around dean and like it DOESNT MAKE SENSE. Why would he play dean as gayer and then not follow through???? why sow and not reap????

and the idea is that it probably comes down to a mixture of 2-3 things:

1) his first interaction with shipping involved death threats and wincesties generally being awful to him and his wife so i can definitely see that making u never want to discuss shipping ever again and a lot of bi/gay readings of dean involve destiel, this is the most likely offender. Especially since it became one of and eventually The biggest ship on the show

2) as u may know he is a dean kinnie, he’s shown (and talked about it) time and time again that he can’t really view dean from a third party perspective and only understands what dean understands, and fundamentally dean is probably not aware that he is bi and in love with cas, so jackles isn’t. I genuinly do think this one hold merit because that man needs therapy but it is on the insane side

3) i’m sorry for this but we have to mention rpf/s, essentially the theory is that jensen and misha r together and jackles got scared of people realizing either that he likes misha or that he likes men, i think there’s something to be said about cockles but i think it’s more likely that he accidentally played dean as bi and then got insecure about people finding out something about him because as I said, dean kinnie.

anyway the tldr is that it’s weird because he plays dean as bi in like very obvious ways but like refuses to acknowledge it because it hits too close to home wich is incredibly funny of him

The discourse (I am using that term generously, since the posts on the subect I have seen all seem to be transparent in a self serving clumsy wank agenda) from the bibro/brosonly lanes that virtue signals over Sam and Dean’s sibling bond being “progressive” is one of the more insidious and toxic things that lane has done in 15 years.

First of all: yes, it’s true romances on tv are dime-a-dozen—m/f romances. What are not dime-a-dozen is a queer slow burn love story like Dean and Cas getting its consummation after 12 seasons of immense emotional story arcing. Fans are rightfully criticizing the way 15.20 dropped that relationship off a cliff leaving it with nothing but an infodump to leave the lantern on in the window after the actually progressive 15.18.

The anti-romance rhetoric that cloaks hatred aimed at an actually progressive queer ship isn’t nearly the clever serve the bibro/brosonly lane seems to think it is. You don’t dig romance? Good for you. Quit acting like Destiel is the same as heteronormative defaults.

Secondly: PLATONIC MALE BONDING IS NOT RARE AND UNDER-REPRESENTED IN THE MEDIA. PERIOD. AT NO TIME IN MEDIA HISTORY HAS THIS BEEN NEGLECTED.

What is neglected is m/m romance, especially one as intricate and emotionally intimate and complicated as Dean and Cas’s love story, which went through not only different phases of their relationship, but different stages of how it was handled on the production end of things, with shifting attitudes by the creative team and in the real world. I’ve never seen anything like this. And in-story, few relationships, period, either romantic or platonic, have gotten to me the way Dean and Cas have, and I have shipped some delightful openly canon ships and I adore platonic bonding and team building and guess what I don’t watch ANYTHING for ships. I just don’t. They happen to me, but at no point do I ever see any piece of media I consume as all about just one relationship or just about my favorite ship. Just FYI. Destiel happened to me, and it’s not just the romantic aspect, it’s the emotional one.

As things are, as screwed up as things are, Destiel is a unique depiction in media and I’m sick and tired of seeing that being erased. Theres been so much bullshit falsely depicting what exactly Destiel fandom predominantly was responding to I am ready to scream. Watch the damn canon and actuallly pay attention to Dean and Cas and maybe this won’t be such a ~mystery.

Thirdly: a lot of the pointless, endless grudgewanking from the bibro/brosonly lane right now can be summed up as “the problem with this fandom is that people dared to care about Dean and Cas’s 12 year long immense emotional story with each other, how dare people not pay enough attention to only the brothers in a way that I dictate, how dare they not pay attention to the canon” when Destiel shippers are responding to CANON. But I guess canon isn’t canon any more, canon is “only that stuff I am obsessed with and that queer ship that I irrationally keep hating on isn’t canon because I said so.” And then they tantrum because Destiel shippers won’t comply and have the “right” priorities.

That is gatekeeping 101 and a pitiful effort at that. Come on.

Fourthly: yes Sam and Dean and their bond overturn quite a few toxic masculinity tropes and that is one of the things I have always appreciated about the characters and the show.

*rings bell* guess what, so do Dean and Cas. The relationship is a challenge to toxic masculinity. Each of them is a challenge to toxic masculiniity.

It is also the very definition of toxic masculinity how and why Destiel was silenced for 15.20.

Male siblings openly showing affection is common and non-threatening in media.

Dean and Cas getting to hold each other beyond a “omg thank goodness you aren’t dead!!” hug or “omg pls don’t die” furtive and frantic touch and finally remove the last barriers of misunderstanding and heaven forbid, idk, get to fully consummate their love story in some kind of fashion after 12 seasons of misunderstandings and yearning and love and losing and finding each other again and again, that must stay hidden out of sight.

People need to stop claiming progressiveness as they gloat about that erasure and while they appropriate “ace rep” and “queerplatonic” for a sibling bond. They’re...siblings.

The creative team on the show did their outright best to get the Destiel story told, to make it so it wasn’t silenced. I appreciate that. And I will always always love Dean and Cas’s story and always love this ship. If you’ve decided that love “ruins” the fandom I think you’re a shitty person and I don’t have any interest in sharing a fandom with you nor do I care about impressing some mythical “s*n f*m*ly” ideal about can’t we all just get along. I no longer care.

What fics do you like/read/recommend?

Difficult question, cause recommendations I can give but only very limited.

What I like? Slow Burn, Angst, Fluff, damn it I also read Smut sometimes, AUs (I mention something about that later). Basically: I want to suffer, I want to cry, but give me a happy ending. I LOVE good interpreted characters and I LOOOVE well-written relations. What I mean by that is, basically, if a sibling relationship is weirdly written, I tend to just.. not read the story at all. Does that make sense? Whatever.

While I read a lot, I rarely save what I read and more often than not I kind of.. lose half of the fics I read? There’s one I am currently obsessed with, which I found via @worstloki:

doubt truth to be a liar. absolutely amazing tbh. it’s about a younger Loki suddenly appearing in the Avengers Tower, without any memories about what happened (post Ragnarok), it’s got trans Peter & cultural differences between Asgard and Midgard I find quite interesting. Cause while I do know that comic Loki mentioned that the concept of gender and sexuality do not exist in Asgard the way they do on Midgard (I think that is what he said), I found the differences portrayed in that story very believable and also super interesting, cause I didn’t think of that? Especially interesting when you know a bit about the Viking age and its culture, which MCU Asgard clearly was set to resemble.

So, next I need to put a little disclaimer about myself: I normally do not like Reader fics, because more often than not they’re super ooc and I just find this whole.. “y/n” thing kind of offputting and it just makes me uninterested very often. However I have a friend who do likes these kind of stories. And she lets me know. And she needs someone to talk about these stories, so there’s that. And I read a handfull of them and tbh only those I actually find 1. well-written, 2. well characterised & 3. no darn use of “y/n”, cause no I never imagine myself there, I create characters in my head for each story.

A Job Million PRs Would Die For by @saiansha. Jesus fucking christ the amount of times I re-read this story. Honestly, it is, I think, the first Reader fanfic I read in my entire life, was super weary at first cause. idk. I know some people on this website (and AO3, let’s be real) that just post very weird stuff. This one has an interpretation of Loki that I can 100% believe and it is one I support. That was one of my main reasons to continue reading, but it’s also the general writing style that I like and that there’s a Reader character, who is not a helpless damsel in distress. Ultimate proof of that was the most recent chapter. (dear author knows my thoughts, I dared to dm cause I was just. very enthuasiastic about this story)

Broken Crown by @michelleleahhh. Second one I started reading at one point cause my friend kept asking me to read it. a kind-of AU? It’s set in Asgard. That’s what you need to know. Again, a story that had me from the beginning, once I started. For the writing style and for the characterisation. The story really had me guessing sometimes, cause,, well-written! and really good dialogue!! damn you Freya!! and a decent Reader character that doesn’t have me ripping out my own intestines. (also very enthusiastic about this story, yes this phrasing as a meaning)

Foruneyti by Evaldrynn or @foruneyti (I tagged the blog for the story here, too, don’t mind me pls) Also kind of an AU, basically just Asgard. Anyway, I am so in love with the aesthetic this story gives me. It’s hard to explain, but after 85 chapters I just have this very clear picture in my head of what I think this story looks like. Now, Reader here is also good and well-written, the Original Characters are likeable and not super overpowered, neither is Reader. The canon characters are, in my humble opinion, interpreted nicely and tbh for some reason I just always imagine them in this comic style, rather than the way the films portray them.

Of Different Emotions by @wanderingworldwarrior. my. goodness. I am in love with these stories and I am just. so desperate for an update. idk if we will ever get one, but honestly, I re-read it this week and. Just stopped after the second part, cause I can’t deal with the pain of the third part one more time. First part is set pre-Thor 1, second part is set during Thor 1 and the third during The Avengers. I love the Reader character a lot and the Original Characters just. belong so much to the story. idk I just love the way this story is written, I love the characters, I just love it a lot, alright.

Onwards to anime. Bungou Stray Dogs:

where your loyalties lie by writingfromtheshadows. this!! story!! it’s so good!! it’s a Yakuza!AU and oh my gooood. It’s all just so so well put, compared to canon and I love the dynamics Dazai and Chuuya have here.

Forgettable Significance by Witheryvine. THIS STORY. took my sanity, threw it out of the window and then spat on me. It broke my heart so very often, cause it manages to make you question yourself. morals about relationships out of the window. I re-read this story like five times.

still still still by toriosaurus. I was waiting, desperately, for every single chapter. This AU gives me everything I need and more. I remember doing fanart for this story and being very proud of it, even though it did no justice to the original story. Normally I am not a fan of, idk what to call it, no power AUs because most people just do the thing wrong for me. But this one hits.

If I recommend Twist and Shout now I get thrown into Turbohell, so idk if you want a very sinful Destiel fanfic, then read

Hot Water by Chiyume. I was 16, I decided to read Destiel fanfictions and this one kind of did it for me.

Don’t @ me. I really read a lot more than this, but I suck at organising myself and I just barely ever save shit. Also it’s late, I’ve been on a video call with my friend for over three hours now and I just like to clown when I am tired. Anyway, I used to bookmark Destiel fanfics back in the day and the rest is just. Read it, kudos, comment, and then I forget to save. The multichapter fics are often still in my subscribes, but sometimes. just.. not.

2020 Fanfiction Review

Tagged by @northisnotup - thank you! Pls ignore the fact that we are a week into the new year, shhhh

Fics Written This Year:

I went back to look and there's a few! Fifteen on ao3, not counting tumblr ficlets! Most are Ace Attorney - eight this year and an honest attempt at an event week that I did not finish, but I did try my best and got a good few fics out of. There's one Hollow Knight fic, which is a fandom I'll have to revisit in writing (maybe once I have more than the one ending). Three October Daye fics, definitely a fandom I'll be writing more for at some point. And three for Juno Steel!

(And then of course there are the ideas I had this year that I haven't gotten to act on yet. There's always so much more in my head than I get down on paper, but I'm working on that.)

Takeaways from your kick-ass writing, or kick-ass lack of writing, during a year more focused on survival than perhaps any other:

It's been a weird year! Between quarantine and contract nonsense, there's been a lot of back-and-forth with "home all the time" and "going to work every day." Free time at home does not always translate to more writing done, for me, which is something I've been trying to crack the code on this year especially. I'm still just as much about aus and angst as I've ever been! And I generate ideas at an ungodly rate, so I've been spending more time deciding which ones I really want and which ones are free to a good home.

Most surprising fic you wrote this year:

Probably Directive Four! It was one of those headcanons that could technically happen in the canon of the story - technically Dark Matters could do some funky stuff with robots, and wouldn't it be interesting if they pushed their technology? I really thought it was gonna be a silly one-off, mostly-idea ficlet on tumblr; the kind of thing you write a blurb about just to get the thought out of your head to share with other people. A thousand words at most, and something to take people's minds off of election+destiel+what the fuck. And it... grew, every time I worked on it. And I got committed and really worked on it and HECK if I wasn't expecting to get so invested I REALLY wasn't expecting the response. "This will just be my self-indulgent thing and it'll be fine if I'm the only one who likes it" was the mantra, but a lot of you loved it and I am so, SO appreciative <3 One of the highlights of this year

(There was also the Ib ficlet which no one expected, including me. And Crazy Capsaicin Charlie, who lives on in our memory)

How you grew as a writer this year:

I don't necessarily have any evidence to support this, but I feel more... solid, about big projects? I feel more committed to finishing long fics, which doesn't necessarily mean that I will. But I feel better about my ability to do so. It's work and it's hard, but I can get that fic to look the way I want it to - or, if I can't, it's worth finding a way to tell the story in a way I can share even if it's not perfect. I hope that means I'm letting go of the perfectionism a little bit, because I feel like I could get so many more of my ideas written if not for that.

What's coming in 2021:

WELL, I guess the good thing about coming in late with this is, I've already written the first fic of 2021! By the hardest, too - there was the unexpected ep drop (and since it was speculation fic I really wanted to have it out before the next ep), and then tumblr said "you can't post that, that's too long" after so much formatting. And then after more formatting ao3 said "what if the whole site was down, as a treat." Sleep Awake is not what I expected it to be - it might have been much longer, in different circumstances - but I still think it's good, and I'm glad I didn't give up on it.

And I have a whole list of Juno Steel fics to get working on! There's a circus au, a hanahaki au, lots of requests left to fill, amnesia to inflict... I'm very excited! I hope you are, too!

I would kill to hear the first conversation Dean had with Cas about “personal space”.

I love that Cas looks for and asks about Sam.

Cas was very polite asking for help, that’s sweet.

I bet Sam is good at darts because he (and Dean) probably scammed people out of money on it.

I get such a kick out of seeing Dean fix Cas’ shirt and tie. It’s just super cute.

“Look, I’ll be the first to tell you that this little crusade of yours is nuts, but I do know a little something about missing fathers.”

“What do you mean?”

“I mean there were times when I was looking for my dad when all logic said that he was dead, but I knew in my heart he was still alive. Who cares what some ninja turtle says, Cas, what do you believe?”

“I believe he’s out there.”

“Good. Then go find him.”

And now Cas checks in on Dean.

“Honestly, I'm good. I can't believe I'm saying that, but I am, I'm really good.”

“Even without your brother?”

“Especially without my brother. I mean, I spent so much time worrying about the son of a bitch. I mean, I've had more fun with you in the past twenty-four hours than I've had with Sam in years, and you're not that much fun. It's funny, you know, I've been so chained to my family, but now that I'm alone, hell, I'm happy.”

Hearing Dean say this...it really is refreshing.

At least Cas stuck around to hear Dean say he was fine, even without his brother, before he left.

Aaandd ideally, I’d end the episode there...but no. We still got Sam's story to finish.

He leaned into her touch. :(

“People can change. There is reason for hope.”

Fuck what he says, please hold onto that hope, Sam.

And here we go.

“Nick here is just an improvisation.” That eventually turns permanent.

There it is.

Goddamn it, poor Sam is going through it; he can’t catch a damn break.

“You will say yes to me.” He’s right.

Dabb vs cars

Surprisingly, not the next round in my ongoing, bitter feud about his continuity problems. A "I come in peace" study on parking.

I watched 10x09 today and I did the usual OTP "aw they're so far apart" sad heart feeling at the shot of them all outside Sharkey's.

No, not Dean n Cas.

The Impala and Pimpmobile.

Anyway it got me thinking about in that moment it represented pretty well how Dean and Cas were doing with each other. Of course there isn't room to park beside Cas's car, so Dean goes and parks on the other side of the door, leaving this big gap between them, bigger because there's a parking mark thingy Cas is about to trip over before the shot abruptly ends. (I hope Misha was okay.) The cars have a clear line of sight to each other, but there's just something so unutterably sad about there being no way for them to park side by side, per Cas's parking, and Dean putting that extra space between them. (Also so they can go in the door... I'd say unobstructed but the longer I watch the gif the more I become convinced there's footage out there of Misha ruining the impression of Cas's reserved dignity...)

In the context of season 10, where Destiel was at right then was the first time they'd seen each other since 10x03, when Dean cleared his bed for Cas like, thanks for saving me from myself pls make yourself comfy, and Cas freaked out and gabbled some stuff about work and Hannah and such and told Dean to rest up, then fled the scene. Dean is pissed off Cas called for help over trying to deal with Claire (and it kind of looks like making excuses of busywork to not come home, when you flee with an apparently important mission and it turns out you're wandering around trying to earn back brownie points with your vessel's daughter, having randomly and abruptly swapped onto a personal mission without telling Dean a word of it) and in general the car placement amused me by seeming to echo how they were doing.

Being me, obviously thinking about that made me start thinking about Dabb, cars, and his old Carver era patterns. He got the one per season (two if we were lucky) Deep Emotional DeanCas Talk, to give us a real, solid moment to show how they were truly doing. 8x08, 9x10, 9x22, 10x09, and 11x10 spring to mind though obviously in other episodes he wrote with them they also still shared some pretty epic emotional moments or there were other strong Destiel things. However he is the one who gave us Cas's original car, and two of these instances are directly before the Big Talk to tide things over and give us the emotional background for later. I figured some thoughts about some notable Dabb car stuff would be a nice thing to do. After my amused nostalgia run through Carver era moments, I've included Dabb era in general and picked out some other moments.

9x10 is the start of all this, once Cas finally gets some wheels of his own. The most interesting set piece barely involves any driving, but is the first time the Impala and Continental are parked beside each other. Like, RIGHT beside. Like, Dean n Cas should be this close to each other all the time. Cas's car is a step ahead (I mean, I assume so he could get out the door). All episode Dean n Cas are a beautiful emotionally supportive unit, but Dean can't cope with this, and so he gets in his car and leaves, pulling away from the closeness he's offered from his family, the thing with the cars being exactly what he did when he walked away from them on the bridge too. I mean, that's fairly obvious, I'm just amused after I went back to look, HOW closely the two cars were parked, like they wanted Cas's car in that shot, next to Dean's, and they'd force the most unrealistic parking job ever when there's all that unused space around them, to get all the random details into the shot they needed. As a bonus, Dean had to have been the one to park the Impala so close blocking Cas's car in. Unconscious desire to be so close to him and to keep him? He's still recovering from asking him to leave.

(I know the Impala and Continental shared space in several end of season 9 episodes but not 9x22 as far as I recall in the earlier parts, and the Worst Dabb Vs Cars Fuckery Of Them All occurs in the final driving moment of that episode, just putting Cas IN the Impala for the drive home despite the fact his car ends up the Bunker at the start of 9x23... That's a symbolic gesture of what he was trying to convey in the moment of Cas sitting in the back of the car but for the sake of talking about how they park together, useless. I feel like in 9x18 it's just a reminder Cas HAS the car, and the show doesn't do anything useful with it to represent Cas...)

Onto 11x10, and honestly my favourite of Dabb's Dean n Cas chatting scenes because it's technically pretty superfluous except for the fact he really really wanted a final DeanCas chat before Cas got Casifered, and so he made one heck of a driving continuity snarl to wrangle it. Obviously Cas followed Dean's longing to his spot because how else... Anyway, he parks a long long way off. In season 11 he's feeling very distanced from Dean by his anxiety and trauma. This is the epitome of the "I came as soon as you called" behaviour, with Cas dropping everything to come help Dean, and romantic blurring into focus walk aside, the long shot shows us beautifully that Cas is hesitant to approach, and maintaining the distance with Dean. After all the season 10 and early 11 drama between them, including several rounds of mind controlled punch ups, they're fragile and miserable, and Cas's last interaction with Dean on screen was an angry and frustrating one. Cas himself bridges the distance betwen them but his car waiting off in the background suggests his reservations, and the rest of the episode spells out everything, before he chooses to do something he thinks will help move their cars closer, as it were.

Entering Dabb era proper, in 12x02 we see Cas's new truck (still with hay) and Dean pulling up to it. Obviously they've got their mission to save Sam, the jokes about Mary being brought along to chaperone their date, etc. But since the car conversation in 11x23 the ball has been in Dean's court to approach Cas, and I would assume the mythical instance of mixtape giving is somewhere between 12x01 and 12x19; the point is, here, as the first 2 episodes of season 12 in general showed (and Dean in 12x22 confirmed talking about how happy he was to have Cas and Mary back in the same breath), Dean approaches Cas, parking right behind his truck, as a symbol of the confidence and comfort they have now. They work great as a team in this part of the season, although Cas has been standing around by his lonely parked truck waiting for most of the episode up to that point, and is forced to continue standing by the truck for most of the rest of the episode.

12x12 Cas is still in the "I'll just wait here then" mode, hanging out at their designated meeting place as Sam, Dean, Mary and Wally arrive in a convoy and park on the other side of this parking lot, so he has to come to join them (Dean rotating on the spot as he does so... heh, I love that moment.) By the middle of season 12 Cas has run away to find Lucifer, echoing 10x03's parting, and also killed for them and invited cosmic consequences, and in 12x10 given a firm well-communicated emotional talk to help him feel included and loved, and yet he also leaves to search for Kelly some more, echoing other times he's gone off to do a side project and been very much on the outside. Once again he's waiting for them to catch up, and Dean seems to breeze by him - and there's so many other people with them (and part of why he left in 12x03 was to give Sam and Dean space with Mary, exclusing himself from the family). In the diner scene Cas has the whole waitress thing to deal with, with Dean acting up around so many people with conflicting needs to perform. Cas has been waiting for an incredibly long time, but if you ever needed a more firm "the ball is in your court" it's the "I love you" at the end of the episode.

12x19 also has a important "where the cars are placed" sequence, which you could really do with a whole gifset of, but of course the Impala is there because Kelly stole it, and it's been left off to the side by them; likewise Sam and Dean are left to the side by them as they drive off. Sam and Dean placed the truck before they did that and took it back (and all the stuff about Cas and Dean and fixing the truck in the episode is a whole 'nother thing)... From this angle it looks ominously like the park in which Dean found Mary, with the lights behind the trees going on - of course night has just fallen rather than the sun coming up, and Cas is driving away from the light. As Dean walked Mary into their lives, newly resurrected, Cas drives out of their lives >.> Between all the stealing cars and rushing into save Cas, the gap between them as they're parked is obvious and as a result of the circumstances. They're apart because there's too much going on, Kelly made off with Cas in the car, and Sam and Dean were helpless chasing after them. The distance and swapping around of cars and using them as part of the chaos is very effective. Cas calmly takes possesion of his truck again, freshly fixed by Dean, but drives off with Kelly. In 12x23 they steal some stock Destiel phrases to exchange, and it's touching the truck which opens the rift. I had a nose around the outdoors scenes and couldn't spot Cas's truck and the Impala even on the same side of the building, and honestly am kind of confused about where the truck went. Not, as I said, that I'm trying to continue the feud with this post. But I mean.

*clears throat*

I'm just saying he ruined the continuity in 12x01 for 12x02 by doing the exact same thing as 9x22 by just not using Cas's truck when it would make sense to take as many vehicles as they can get their hands on so they could split up... Obviously all the many set pieces to do with cars worked best/could only work if there was just the Impala but it's all style over function again... So in 12x02 to let Cas split up to help they add an extra day to let him get the truck so he can follow leads and do the legwork, and Mary and Dean end up back at the Bunker, immediately falling back into old static patterns when it would have made so much sense to just have them in a motel NEARBY instead of abandoning their hot trail on finding Sam so Mary could shower... He handed them that excuse on a platter and killed the urgency and Dean n Cas were split up all episode when they could have been at least local-ish to each other and maybe had that phonecall in person and and and... shh Lizzy

1) WHAT DID GARRETT MEAN WHEN HE SAID MEDICAL RECORDS DONT LIE? – – – So much time has passed since Garrett and his death in [3x13]. But this specific Garrett-line was from 3x02. You can read a lot of things in it, but the obvious: – – Garrett knows that Jenna was able to see after her 1st operation which happened while Toby was in Juvi. So Jenna was able to see as he lied killing Alison with a hockey stick.

2) WHY DID MONA ACT SHOCKED ABOUT CHARLES WHEN SHE HAD HISNAME WRITTEN DOWN IN THREE ANAGRAMS? – I think noboby has ever answered this question the way I think it was meant to be: Spencer, Emily and Aria entered Mona's house to find clues. They found the 3-lines-anagram in Mona's hand mirror. After they 3 left, there are two key scenes: an ice-pickle was used to broke into Mona's house and Andrew was shown watching the Liars leave the house. For the 5B-storyline until early 6A-season he was pictured as one of the ultimate villains. But I still think he was going to help the Liars. Sadly, the actor who played Andrew was caught with a weapon (pointing against their neighbors) not only once. And so he left the cast.

3) WHO DESTROYED CONNORS CAR? answered by @xjennax13: Mike destroyed Connor’s car

4) HOW DID EDDIE LAMB KNOW EZRA? – Ezra asked Eddie a lot of things about the Radley Sanitarium while hewas trying to write his book. [revealed in 5x07]

5) WHY WAS SARA HARVEY WORKING FOR CECE? – / – I don't think that this Q is ever been answered. Sara maybe suffered from the Stockholm Syndrom, but that doesn't explain why she was kidnapped and held captive for 2 years and 8 months. Another explanations could be that she, Sara, was craving for that because her mother was a drunk.

6) WHY WERE ALI AND BETHANY EXCHANGING LETTERS? Ali and Bethany weren't exchanging letters. The letter was placed right there in Ali's room in 5x12 by Cece.

7) WHO IS VARJAK? answered by @xjennax13: Sara Harvey was using the alias Varjak while she was working for CeCe.

8) WHO DRUGGED MY BBY EMILY? answered by @xjennax13: Lucas drugged Emily. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- I have 3-4 scenes on my mind Emily got drugged or something like that. Emily stole the flask from Hanna and drank almost all of it. [1x14] Anti-pain creme with hormones [2x08] = Mona 'That Night' = 3x01 | Emily drank too much = Emily herself Paige took the flask from Emily to get in better mood but ended in up hospital =Milizopam (3x05) | Emily never drank from that flask on Jenna's party. ...I will never buy it that Lucas drugged Emily on purpose without having a motive. Because the next mini-arc introduced Cece, Holden, Jenna and the Kahn Bros. -------------------------------------------------------------------------

9) WHO WAS THE SHADOW IN THE DILAURENTIS HOUSE? i tried, but I don’t really have an answer. There were SHADOWS in the House of DiLaurentis!!!

10) WHY DID MY WIFE ALI HAVE THOSE CREEPY PHOTOS OF ARIA? answered by @xjennax13: I thought Jason had those creepy photos of Aria? He’s always had a crush on her.

10) WHO WAS JASON GIVING 50K TO answered by @xjennax13 again: Jason gave the 50k to Lucas, no? Right! That's a really complex one Q. Jason got a phone call in 3x04 (from Lucas) to meet him at a parking lot. Next or some episodes later Lucas was able to give the money back to Caleb.

11) WHO WAS SPENCER TEXTING ASKING IF HANNA WAS ALIVE? – The scene from 7x01. – – Spencer was texting A.D. – – – The same style Hanna was texting A.D. the first time: "Do I know you?" in 6x14.

12) WHY WAS JESSICA MAKING FILES ON EACH OF THE GIRLS? Liars.found.storm.cellar.in.PLLx7x07.STOP The storyline got a lot of do overs like buildings and people.STOP This small room with 4 of 5 (6) Liars inside was used to hype the facts about Mary. I also don't believe that Jessica was ever looking for Alison bc she, Alison, said something along the line: "When I was looking for you guys." – This.made.the.whole.storm.cellar.discovery.ridiculious.STOP

13) WHO WAS THE 4TH PERSON AT THAT SKETCHY MEETING AT THE END OF 5X05? – Another Q that'll never be answered.

14) WHAT DID ALI HAVE ON NOEL? – Alison used Noel as a guard and a driver for the Liars on their from Philadelphia to New York. – – Alison knows that it was Noel who pushed the sorority girl down the stairs.

15) WHY WAS ANDREW LISTENING IN TO THAT PHONE CALL IN 5X25? – He was still trying to help the Liars.

16) WHAT IS THE RELEVANCE OF ALL THE PIGS? – The same relevance all the owls, triangles and Pigtunia have. NOTHING!
