Being the overprotective (and almost always the designated driver) H always felt inclined to join you on nights out, parties or any occasion where he knew you would be drinking, he assured it was to make sure if you did anything embarrassing like stumble over or not be able to talk properly that he could be the first to hear it, but deep down you both knew it was for him to be able to make sure you were safe in your vulnerable state.

“ please just..call me if you even suspect anyone who seems off?” He pleads for what felt like the 15th time in the last hour.

“Baby, I’ll be fine, promise” she answers

“Well, if theres no sign of you before 2am I swear y/n im gonna send a whole search party” he smirks pulling the girl close to him and kissing her soft head.

“M’fine, I’ll be coming home to you safely, I’ll call you when m’done”

And within a second the taxi pulled up into there shared driveway and the sound of (already tipsy) girls is heard from the vehicle.

“That’s my cue, I love you and I’ll see you later baby” with that the girl presses her glossy lips onto his and quickly grabs her bag and excitedly makes her way too her friends.

For what felt like mindless hours of switching tv channels and mindless movies for H he realised nothing was really enjoyable without his love by his side.

Constantly refreshing his phone for any type of notification from y/n and constantly flicking through her Instagram story which consisted of her and her friends doing shots, dancing, and all having what seemed a great time.

When her Instagram calmed down he believed that’s when she was slowly coming out of her tipsy phase and slowing towards her ‘drunk’ phase, all he could think of was something happening to his girl when she was under that impression.

While the clock was showing 2:15am H knew that until y/n let him pick her up that sleep was basically not gonna happen, with his leg anxiously bouncing up and down he was just waiting for a single notification from his girl. What was about 7 minutes later he finally got the thing he wanted so very badly: “hharr pleasaz comme geet me”he could almost hear her drunken slur. He immediately sprung to his feet and clasped his car keys and made a beeline for the girl. —————- “Haarrryyy, s’my harrry” she said motioning to her boyfriend. “Goodluck with her mate” one of y/n’s friends said. With an exchange of ‘thanks yous’ and smiles he takes the wobbly girl into his arms and slowly walks her to the passenger side of the car. “Goodnight dove?” He asks buckling her into the seat. “Mmmhmm, missssed my haarry tho” she says dragging out the letters. “Your Harry missed you too darling” he says starting up the car and giving the girl a quick peck on the cheek before driving back home. After a long drunken and heavily detailed explanation of the shenanigans that y/n and her friends got up too that evening. ———— “Come on dove, s’get ya ready for bed hmm?” He asks, placing her bag on the table and and helping her slip her heels off. “M’tired” she yawns rubbing her slowly drooping eyelids “Wont be long sweetness and we can sleep” with that being said he carefully wrapped an arm around her waist and led her steadily up there stairs and slowly guided her to there shared bathroom. “Need my m-makeup offf haary” she says reaching out for her wipes, when she nearly topples her balance and falls. “Woah Angel,lets sit ya down and then we’ll sort you out” he laughs. Gently placing the girl on the closed toilet lid and started to wipe her sleepy face gently with her favourite wipes. “Don’t know why you wear this stuff” he said regarding the makeup “so pretty without it hmm” “Yooour so swwwweet” she says emphasising on the ‘w’ ———7:43am——— “Fuck this shit completely” the girl muffled as she was once again curled around the cold porcelain toilet bowl, “how ya holding up baby?” Her boyfriend says kneeling down to her level and instinctively reaching for her hair as she bows her head again into the bowl. Her groan in response led to the indication that the actions of last night led to consequences. “Drunken mess ey?” He says, you can practically hear the smile in his voice “shut up dickhead” she says a light smile curving onto her mouth. “I love you too, hows about we get you back to bed and I’ll sort us some food hmm?” He says using his hand to glide up and down her back. “Sounds great H, thanks” - While the girl got comfy once more into there shared bed, she took her medication that was left on her bedside the night previously. “How was last night anyway?” Her boyfriend asks appearing into the room and “don’t have to hunt anyone down so I?” He asked smirking(but maybe meaning it) “what? No” the girl giggled, as he sat next to her, she immediately cuddled into him and carried on about last nights shenanigans <3
