mysterious wizard aesthetics but Warmb And Confy.....
#ghgh no costumes or anything recently since I've been evil and utterly unproductive as of late - but here's an outfit of the day#I guess hgjhgjh#my one single holiday gift lol .. Giant Fluffy Sweater... (though I think the person who got it bought it from amazon#or something I think so... hhhh.. jeff bezos rot in hell you shitty molerat bastard.. but otherwise.. lol)#ANYWAY... I know this is meant to wear around the house but.. I would legit just wear it out on public transport doing errands and stuff if#the pandemic were ever to be over#my 1 favorite color is white. and 2 is tied with pastel blue and light gray.. + I love soft things + star imagery + glwing stuff#so... white and gray....perbfecte.....#though it's still kind of cheap I guess because it's Staenky#like when you get really cheap polyester clothes and they smell like plastic/chemicals for a few days so you have to leave#them outside on a drying rack to air out or whatever lol#but after it's a little less stinchy then berhaps I can wear it actually#ALSO ignore my idiot hair being purple hghjgjh I haven't done anything to it at all during covid and even well before covid#it's just been chilling in it's natural state for like well overa year if not a year and a half#It was blue (and is SUPPOSED to be blue)  but at some point it faded into a weird purpley color (with faded greeny gray#weirdness at the tips) and I just haven't been bothered to do anything to it hghjg#I mean I don't hate purple or anything but I feel weird not having blue hair since it is my designated hair color that I have decided on#I used to change my hair a lot when I was younger but now I'm pretty set on having blue hair the rest of my life since it's#the one of my favorite colors that's most achievable (white and light gray hair would take WAAAAY too much upkeep and costs given how#long my hair is and that it's naturally black)#even if it's an artifical color it can still be weird to have the same ahir color (mostly - even if it's in differing shades) for a long tim#e and then not lol#but anyway... One Day... whenever I can afford a bunch of hair dye and stuf... perhaps the blue will return#aLSO having my roots grown out literally past my shoulders looks kind of funny when there's no gradient (like.. I think it'd look okay#if i had a darker blue that blended in with the roots and then faded to lighter blue but right now the change of colors is just abrupt hgghg#) but you know... *insert that shrug and smirk emoticon that I'm too lazy to go copy paste from somewhere*

My Muse’s Everyday Wear.
1. In her teen years, Alwen wore very simple dresses. Some were far more detailed in embroidery than others, but overall most were light or pastel colors. She also rarely did anything with her hair, letting it hang loose, brushed back over her shoulders.
2. As a student learning the arts of healing, Alwen took to wearing clothing that was cheaply made as it was constantly covered in stains from the poultices she was practicing making. She also began wearing aprons or tunics that were easy to clean. Her hairstyles began to grow more elaborate as she bonded with the other young women learning to be healers who taught her better ways to fashion her long locks.
3. As she grew older, Alwen set out to purchase clothing for herself for the first time. She was finally earning her own money, and so began settling into her own style: dresses with half-sleeves for ease of movement, bright colors and light-weight fabrics, and belts with silver accents to hold the purse she now carried as a symbol of her independence.
4. The “formal” garb of a Junior Healer in the Houses of Healing includes a wimple and veil along with the usual white or cream-colored dress and chemise. The head-coverings are traditional in Gondor for women who are in mourning or who wish to show great respect by covering themselves in modest clothing. Alwen wears her veil after the death of her cousin, when she is mourning, or after particularly bad battles in which many soldiers and rangers die. She also wears it in the presence of the upper echelons of society in Minas Tirith.
5. Alwen usually is found in the white dress and chemise of a Healer when she is working. The fabric is light-weight and breathable, as well as surprisingly affordable. They are washed and cared for on site in the Houses of Healing, and most healers have their names embroidered on the inside so that there are fewer mixups. In Alwen’s case, it is difficult to mistake her dress for another’s as she is a good deal shorter than many of her fellows. She covers her hair with a soft linen scarf to keep it out of the way.
6. As a surgeon, Alwen wears a soft blue kirtle which acts as an apron as well as a mark of rank and skill. All surgeons wear blue in the Houses of Healing to make them easier to find in emergencies and Alwen is no exception. She keeps her hair tied back, as usual, but she also has a small linen handkerchief to wear as a face-mask so that she doesn’t have blood splattered into her mouth while she works.
7. As a woman grown, Alwen’s favorite dress is by far the green. Paired with embroidered chemises, specifically with pops of red and pink, she is often found outside the Houses with this dress on. She calls it her “spring” dress, as it reminds her of the fresh green blooms after the snows melt. Her hair is tied up in an intricate braid, which becomes her usual style as she fully comes into her own as a healer and an independent woman.
8. Alwen’s second favorite dress is a sapphire blue cotehardie over a plain chemise or two, depending on the weather. It is her simplest gown by far, but the simplicity is what she thinks makes it look good. She often wears it in the winter, as the cotehardie itself is slightly too big and thus is good for layering and keeping her warm in the harsh Gondorian snows.
9. Alwen’s “finest” when it comes to her every day dresses is the pink and blue embroidered one. She often pairs it with her finest chemises and wears it anywhere she needs to look a little more dressed up, but still not “formal,” such as visiting the Houses of Lore. Sometimes she just wears it because she wants to feel pretty, and the cut of the gown as well as the colors makes it stand out as her best.

You are straight-up a very sweet Hufflepuff whom I would be delighted to know any and everything about, so is it alright if I go ahead and ask EVERY question for the question meme?
Awww, wow!!  That really means a lot, thank you so much!
Alright here we go then!  We’re going to get to know me a whole lot better lol because these questions are pretty fun.  Obviously this will be a pretty long post so I’m putting it all under the read more
weird asks that say a lot
1. coffee mugs, teacups, wine glasses, water bottles, or soda cans?
Coffee mugs I think.  I have a pretty big collection of those.
2. chocolate bars or lollipops?
This one is hard!  Probably chocolate bars though.
3. bubblegum or cotton candy?
Cotton candy 100%.
4. how did your elementary school teachers describe you?
Hmmmm, I think hardworking and sweet came up a lot?  I was very much a teacher’s pet and the perfectionist anxiety set in early lol so I was a busy, over-achieving bee.
5. do you prefer to drink soda from soda cans, soda bottles, plastic cups or glass cups?
I prefer soda bottles.  Glass bottles especially.
6. pastel, boho, tomboy, preppy, goth, grunge, formal or sportswear?
It really depends?  But I guess I’m more tomboy style than anything else.
7. earbuds or headphones?
Earbuds because I like to have one in and one out so I can still hear what’s going around me.
8. movies or tv shows?
TV shows because I like having more time to get to know the characters (and domestic/casual situations for overpowered or zany characters are way more likely to happen in a show than a movie and I live for those lol).
9. favorite smell in the summer?
Rain on pavement because it just storms and storms in the summer and it’s so nice.
10. game you were best at in p.e.?
Hmmm I was good at anything that involved running?  And games that involved those wheely board things you sat on and scooted around on were always fun.
11. what you have for breakfast on an average day?
It varies?  Bagels or toast most often I guess.
12. name of your favorite playlist?
Sick beats.
13. lanyard or key ring?
Key ring with a little stuffed animal on it.  Right now mine has a bee on it and I love it.
14. favorite non-chocolate candy?
Jolly ranchers.
15. favorite book you read as a school assignment?
Tuesdays with Morrie was pretty good.
16. most comfortable position to sit in?
Criss-cross.
17. most frequently worn pair of shoes?
My plain white sneakers.  They’re not real pretty or anything but they’re very comfy and I don’t have to think about whether they match things.
18. ideal weather?
Partially cloudy all day, storm in the afternoon, cool in the evening.
19. sleeping position?
Always on one of my sides.
20. preferred place to write (i.e., in a note book, on your laptop, sketchpad, post-it notes, etc.)?
Notes on my phone or on my laptop with my typewriter keyboard.
21. obsession from childhood?
The Lion King and anything related to it.
22. role model?
Jane Goodall has been at least one of my role models since I was ten, but my mom is a big one too.
23. strange habits?
I’m still getting over periodically chewing my fingers?  Does that count?  I also have a quirk when it comes to touching certain metal things but especially coins so when someone hands me change I do everything I can to avoid touching it and hold it in the bills if I can.
24. favorite crystal?
Kinds of crystals I presume?  I’ve always liked rose quartzes and amethysts (especially amethyst geodes since I have a couple of those).
25. first song you remember hearing?
Probably something from Tarzan or Mary Poppins since those were my childhood movies.  So Stepping Time from Mary Poppins would be a good guess.
26. favorite activity to do in warm weather?
Swimming.
27. favorite activity to do in cold weather?
Walking around in it because it’s hardly ever truly cold here and I like to savor it.
28. five songs to describe you?
I change music taste every five minutes so I’m going to say songs that describe me right now are brand new by ben rector, just a quail by louie zong, turning out by ajr, everything stays by olivia olson, and hooked on a feeling by blue swede.
29. best way to bond with you?
It’s all in the time.  I get attached to people pretty easy as long as they’re nice and we can goof around, have fun, and talk about whatever.  So putting time in to hang out means a lot to me.
30. places that you find sacred?
Hmmm, being deep in forests feels sacred to me so there are certain waterfall hikes in the smokey mountains and along the blue ridge parkway and in Hawaii that seem very special to me.  And then disney world and disneyland will always have a sacredness to them for me because they’ve meant so much to me and the happiness it brings people is pretty magical.
31. what outfit do you wear to kick ass and take names?
My comfy jean shorts and either my yellowish flannel or my guardians of the galaxy shirt with my rebel jacket.

We are farmers, bum bud um bum bum bum bum.
35. average time you fall asleep?

37. suitcase or duffel bag?
Suitcase.
38. lemonade or tea?
Tea because I can’t drink citrus without it setting my mouth on fire lol.
39. lemon cake or lemon meringue pie?
Lemon cake but I don’t have it often for the reason listed above.
40. weirdest thing to ever happen at your school?
Some kids in elementary did something weird in the trees behind our school because the teachers weren’t watching them (I never knew exactly what it was but it was Bad tm) but the teachers didn’t know exactly who it was so they punished the whole grade and we were forced to only play kickball during recess for like 7 months and it was the worst.  It’s not exactly weird per say but I always found it wild that the only conceivable thing they could think to do to solve this problem was force a bunch of scrawny, socially awkward, miserable children to play ground baseball with a permanently half-deflated rubber ball.
41. last person you texted?
My brother.
42. jacket pockets or pants pockets?
Pants pockets but only because I don’t get to use jacket pockets as often as I would like to.
43. hoodie, leather jacket, cardigan, jean jacket or bomber jacket?
I’m completely tied between hoodies and bomber jackets.
44. favorite scent for soap?
Ocean.
45. which genre: sci-fi, fantasy or superhero?
These are my three faves, not fair!!  Sigh, probably superhero because even with sci-fi and fantasy my faves tend to be my faves because they have superhero elements.  The colors, the Drama, the angst, the powers??  What’s not to love.

50. what made you laugh the hardest you ever have?
I don’t know about the hardest I ever have (because I am very lucky and have a very funny family so I laugh a lot) but watching vine compilations for the very first time with my siblings made me laugh really hard.
51. current stresses?
Fitting everything in.  Days just don’t feel long enough and social situations plus school stuff always get to me but I’m doing okay.
52. favorite font?
I do like times new roman even if it’s used a lot but I’ve been using the font yananeska for calligraphy stuff lately and it’s a cool one.
53. what is the current state of your hands?
They’re always a bit dry and on the warmish side but they’re pretty good.
54. what did you learn from your first job?
Have never had a job job but I volunteered in a library for like three years and it taught me to enjoy the details, slow down and enjoy the quiet, simple tasks, appreciate really excited kids, and try to help people whenever I can.
55. favorite fairy tale?
Aladdin or beauty and the beast I suppose?  I like that there’s multiple ways to interpret those stories and that they can be played with in some fun ways because they’re such interesting concepts by themselves.
56. favorite tradition?
How cities all over the world string up lights on things in the winter.  It means something different to everyone and some do it and some don’t which is totally fine, but this idea of lighting up the world during the bleakest month, and how some people go all out with colors and patterns and synced to music, and how everyone does it a bit different, and how entire cities are just smothered in lights means a lot to me.  I think it’s a very cool and very human thing to do.
57. the three biggest struggles you’ve overcome?
The tough year before my family moved, getting through my really intense anxiety years where I couldn’t travel in cars for more than fifteen minutes without throwing up, and my month away at art school.
58. four talents you’re proud of having?
Hmmm, I guess I’m pretty proud of my writing ability, my singing voice, my art skills, and my ability to talk to anyone.
59. if you were a video game character, what would your catchphrase be?
Probably something goofy like “YEET” or some variation of “That’s bonkers” because I do say those a lot.
60. if you were a character in an anime, what kind of anime would you want it to be?
Superhero.
61. favorite line you heard from a book/movie/tv show/etc.?
“That’s all it is, a leap of faith.” from Spiderman: Into the Spiderverse is still pretty special to me.  As is “I never thought I could do any of this stuff, but I can.” same movie.
62. seven characters you relate to?
Aaaaaaaa another hard one.  Whoo boy, right now my gut instinct is probably: Judy Hopps (Zootopia), Miles Morales (Into the Spiderverse), Raph (Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles), Spiderham (Into the Spiderverse), Hagrid (Harry Potter), the firbolg (the adventure zone), and Sam-I-Am (Green Eggs and Ham).
63. five songs that would play in your club?
At the moment I would want you make my dreams by hall & oates, cantina band by John Williams, the bones by maren morris and hozier, hooked on a feeling by blue swede, and backflip by rivers cuomo to play.

66. favorite flower(s)?
I like lotus flowers, gardenias, and plumerias.
67. good luck charms?
My DnD dice, rocks (like my obsidian, sodalites, and amethysts), and my ten little lucky owl statues in different colors.
68. worst flavor of any food or drink you’ve ever tried?
Beverly soda is the worst but a specific flavor I really don’t like is pickles.
69. a fun fact that you don’t know how you learned?
Mantis shrimps punch so fast that the water around their punch boils.  Also they have seventeen color receptors compared to our 3.
70. left or right handed?
Right handed.
71. least favorite pattern?
I’m not quite sure?  I’m not crazy about optical illusions that look sort of smeared and are all black and white because they hurt my eyes so probably those.
72. worst subject?
I’m not great with math or sports, but I’ve gotten a handle on math as of late.
73. favorite weird flavor combo?
I’m not sure if they’re weird but I’m willing to try a lot so ketchup and mayonnaise is great, barbecue sauce and cheez-its is very good, and apples dipped in nacho cheese or salsa is not bad.

Mythology because it gets wild so fast and cracks me up sometimes.
86. cookies or cupcakes?
Cupcakes.
87. your greatest fear?
Being annoying or mean without realizing it and driving people away.  I’m constantly scared I’m going to mess everything up which I need to work on because it’s hard to live that way.
88. your greatest wish?
Going to get a bit cheesy but to someday be a zoologist with some fun hobbies, travel often, feel satisfied with my life, and spend my days with someone I truly love and have a lot of fun with.
89. who would you put before everyone else?
Anyone in my family because we’re really close and they would do that for me.
90. luckiest mistake?
Probably going to an up-ity art school for a month a few years ago because while I was extremely depressed, homesick, and felt like a big failure the whole time, if I hadn’t done that and had my dreams crushed by some mean professors I might have gone there for a whole semester and spent a bajillion dollars to learn the same thing.  And it inevitably put me at the school I’m at now which I’m very very happy with and suits me so much better.
91. boxes or bags?
I like boxes.
92. lamps, overhead lights, sunlight or fairy lights?

Maybe 3?  I don’t have to memorize them much anymore lol.
98. favorite historical era?
I kind of like the 1920s aesthetic these days but I love very scattered things about history so picking one era is tough.

Top 5 Cute Outfits to Wear in the Summer
Summer can definitely be the hottest temperatures of the year and the best time to do your favorite activities. You don’t want to waste time in your closet, trying to find something fashionable to wear. I’ve put together a few outfits for those that want to feel comfortable and look cute ^-^
1. First up on my top 5, we have a very casual yet fashionable look. Jeans shorts go nicely with a majority of tops but especially the ones the end right above the shorts. This darker pink shirt tied in a knot goes extremely well with the blue denim shorts. Since white is a more neutral color, I decided to add white shoes with a nice pair of sunglasses for a comfortable feeling out in the high temperatures.

2. Now, this outfit has to be one of my favorites. The pastel pink overalls paired with the white shirt really compliment each other in terms of color. Looking at the overalls, it’s an adorable pink bear with tiny paw prints at the bottom front and will complement a variety of different shirts. The collar piece on the shirt itself shows off a fabulous gold color that matches with the buttons. The colors are kept light and fit each other perfectly for an amazing summer outfit.
Tumblr media
3. As plain as this may look, the romper itself really creates a nice design with the attached sleeves. The looseness of the sleeves really makes it flow nicely together with the main romper and air to flow through on a hot summer day. The color itself is very pretty with a neutral beige, but can also be changed into a few other colors to match your style!
Tumblr media
4. Get vacation style ready with this beautiful tropical-themed dress! The v-shaped collar and flowy short sleeves serve the look amazing and compliment the flow of the dress itself. Colorful flowers spread across it to make you feel like you’re in paradise or ready to go on vacation to Hawaii ~
Tumblr media
5. Sometimes simple is better. I absolutely love this casual white skirt paired up with a pink striped crop top. Like in number #2, the colors of white and pastel pink really compliment each other with a plain, simple, and cute outfit. Not to mention the see-through flower cardigan completing the look for a beautiful day out in the heat.

MakeUp By Artists: Mystic Space Palette
At long last, I have gotten off my lazy bum and participated in my own tag/challenge/whatever   If you'd like to try this #MakeUpByArtists thing to make your own makeup collection, you can download the Premium template that I used with shading and textures and all that here, OR you can download the completely Blank template here. So this is, essentially, what it would look like if I was approached by a brand or suddenly given the funds and means to make my own makeup collection based solely on myself.   I'll be honest, I spent waaaayyyyy too long deciding on some of the color names, but for the most part, the colors themselves were relatively easy to come up with. The lipsticks I just based off of my favorite colors to wear in real life, and the eyeshadows were a mixture of colors I use a lot, colors I wish I had in eyeshadow, and just my favorite colors in general. Even the name of the collection was a little tricky for me since I didn't want it to just be point-blank my name. (But that's definitely an option, I just wasn't feeling it myself.) I started with "Stars and Sparklers," but then as I was trying to name the colors in the collection I felt minorly obligated to make them line up with that as a theme. But that's not what I wanted; I wanted a "theme" that was just me if someone threw my personality in a machine and turned it into a makeup collection. (I can always play with different themes and stuff in other palettes later; this one was just supposed to be about myself.) So I went back and ended up going with "Mystic Space" because it sounds kinda snappy like a typical makeup palette/collection name, but it's also accurate: use these makeup products and you're stepping into my (Mystic) Space. The overall look, likewise, I went with some galaxy stuff for the logo/item theming. I had decided pretty quickly that given the choice, I'd have all the metal portions as that opalescent/holographic-white color that shifts to a kind of pale green or lavender in the light. So I did my best to capture that and going also with that the brush bristles would also be white, both to match and because that way I could more easily see how much color I've actually picked up on it. The lace edging on everything was actually a later addition. My general disposition in terms of style volleys between Pastel and Punk (and often combines the two), and so after some thought I came upon the idea of having white lace accents (IRL, I imagine this would be actual lace somehow tied or otherwise attached to all the different things) against all the stark black. It's pretty nice visual contrast and reflects me pretty well. (I'll also picturing a white bow over the spot where the palette would open/close, and maybe in the store, there were be white bows wrapped around the boxes?) And now I'm going to very quickly run down where each of the color names come from and what they would look like as makeup products, starting with the eyeshadows (order is left-right, top-bottom). I came up with all the colors first, then went back and did names as they came to me: • Sugar Water - A bright white, shimmery shade. Originally the name was going to have something to do with dandelions or Baby's Breath, since I really love those flowers, but more integral to me as a person is definitely that pretty much all I ever drink is soda, and I will often actually put sweetener in plain water when we go out to restaurants.
• Enchanting - A buildable matte, light seafoam shade. It is a little more cyan than I originally intended, but this still works. Mint/seafoam/robin's egg kind of colors really draw my eye, and I imagine as an eyeshadow with few layers and lots of blending this would work as a lighter mint shade, or the more intense cyan with more layers and less blending, so it hits both of those. The name I derived from "Enchantix," my favorite Winx Club transformation, as this color reminds me a lot of Bloom, the main character from the show, and her Enchantix outfit.
• Mew Know It - A very shimmery/glittery baby pink/rose gold. I use this kind of color a lot when actually doing my makeup, and it happens to remind me of a cat's nose or paw pads, and thus a pun for the name encompassing my love of cats was born.
• Mummy's Tome - High-Impact, metallic-glitter gold. Also a color I use a lot of IRL. The name here is a 2-in-1. Mummy because I have an inexplicable fascination with Ancient Egypt, and Tome because not only does that make a nice pun on "Mummy's Tomb, but it also references my avid readership. (I was really happy went I came up with this name; I thought it was so clever! ) Cheshire - Another pink, this one more on the matte side and much more intense. I don't use this color a lot, but it is one of my favorites to use in art making (which may or may not be obvious if you know me) and I wish I could use a color like this on my eyes more. Named after the Cheshire Cat from Alice in Wonderland, naturally.  Specifically from the 1951 version, as it is my favorite Disney movie.
• Apple of my Iris - A mostly (very subtle shimmer) matte neon purple. I'd use this color if I had it, but I don't! Also one I like to play with in art, though. Originally I was going to call this one "Joker Country" after one arc of my favorite manga, Alice in the Country of, but the next one was also going to have an AiW kind of name originally, and I really didn't want to have three with the same name theme right in a row. I also thought I could do with more puns, so I thought this one up and went with it.
• Faulted Star - An opalescent/holographic electric sapphire blue. My personal favorite out of the palette! I'd find every excuse I could to use this if it was a real thing! Based off of my absolute favorite color in the entire world. The name derives from The Fault in Our Stars, my second favorite John Green book. (It was my #1 before Turtles All the Way Down came out.) And it is also an accurate statement of myself.
• Parade - A highly shimmery/glittery black shade. I do use black eyeshadow a lot, but mostly for intense eyeliner and in small doses to bring out other colors. But I've yet to obtain a really nice, super sparkly black to use. This one probably has my favorite name though; Originally I was trying to force a Winx Club Wizards of the Black Circle reference in, but I just couldn't do it. And then the thought appeared to me: It's Black. And what is the most popular song by my favorite band (My Chemical Romance)? Welcome to the Black Parade. From there, the reference/pun was entirely too good to pass up. And I still love it. Comparatively, the lipsticks didn't have quite as much thought put into their names: • Freak du Chic - An opalescent hot pink, satin finish. I actually have a lipstick this color, but I don't wear it much because A. It's a lot, and B. over the years the actual lipstick has gotten kind of beat-up, so I have to be extra careful when I do use it that it goes where I want it to. Originally I had just named it "Blue Rose," but that was so plain and I had entirely too many things with B names. So I went with a Monster High reference instead, since I strongly associate hot pink with the brand.
• What in Carnation - A highly shimmery baby pink. This is probably the kind of lipstick I wear the most often since it looks pretty inoffensive on my face but still looks like I am indeed wearing lipstick. The name was also the very first pun I came up with for the names and once I thought of it I couldn't bear to let go of it.  I also really love the look of carnation flowers, so that works out.
• Bloody Berry - Deep, almost pinkish matte red. Surprisingly, I will usually go for red lipstick if I'm not wearing the previously mentioned shimmery pink. I'm not really sure what it is, but I like a nice matte, red shade. (My mother doesn't care for the matte look, but they're my lips, right? ) The name is sort of my poking fun at traditional "berry" names and also sort of a distant reference to the interest I've had in vampires that I've had since I was like ten. Also, I like most berries.
• Beachy Keen - Satin finish, peachy/apricot/pinky-fleshy/nude shade. I'd wear this more often if I could find exactly the right color, but most are usually not quite what I'm looking for in one way or another. Still, I do like the subtle look sometimes. The name is really purely a pun, but it also works since I like the beach but I don't really like eating peaches. ... I think that's everything! Clearly, I had a lot of fun with and put a lot of thought into this, but that was the point from the very beginning, waaaaaayyyy back when I first started toying with the #MakeUpByArtists idea. So I think I've properly come full circle with it. I just really hope I'm not the only one that ever does this, or this is going to look kind of silly.  Oh well, I had fun and did what I originally set out to do, so no harm was done, I suppose. ____ Artwork & Template (c) me, MysticSparkleWings   ____ Where to find me & my artwork: My Website | Commission Info + Prices | Ko-Fi | dA Print Shop | RedBubble |   Twitter | Tumblr | Instagram

Sadly, sing in me muse was not an available username. So yeah. Sing to me muse.

7. Tell me what made you choose your bias. Look, this is lowkey embarrassing, but what first made me pick Bambam was his name. His name is so cool like, I love it. But then because of that I started focusing on him and I saw all the amazing things he does and all the cool and pretty facets of who he is (or who he shows himself to be) and I just fell deeper. (idk if its projecting, but I think we’re actually really similar)
8. What topic could you talk about for hours? Uhhh, Bambam, and Got7 lololol

10. Do you prefer pizza with or without pineapples? I like both. It depends on what else is on the pizza, but most of the time i’ll add pineapples.
11. Tell me the story of the time you knew you were obsessed with your bias/got7 Oh, uh, I can’t think of whether I have a moment like this? Idk hah
Okay, now that thats done, I’m not actually going to do any questions or tag anyone, because I’ve done this thing so many times and I always have so much trouble coming up with questions so yeah. If you’d like to do some questions you can pick 11 from both of these sets <3 Have fun <3

DIY Rainbow Watercolor Crepe Paper Backdrop
This post was sponsored, and paid for, by Rit Dye. All opinions are my own. Thank you for supporting the sponsors that make Oh So Beautiful Paper possible!
Spring is just around the corner – and I couldn’t be more excited! Every year I look forward to the explosion of spring flowers, from pale pink cherry blossoms and purple lilacs (my absolute favorite) to yellow daffodils and colorful tulips in nearly every shade of the rainbow. Oh, and fluffy peonies in every shade of pink? Yes, please! Today I’m paying homage to my favorite season with a DIY rainbow watercolor crepe paper backdrop that is perfect for spring weddings, birthday parties, and everything in between. This gorgeous pastel backdrop makes me so happy every time I look at it. Oh, and my secret ingredient for creating this gorgeous backdrop? Spray bottles filled with Rit All-Purpose Dye!
Rit Dye is one of my favorite tools for DIY projects! It’s really the perfect solution for adding pops of color throughout your wedding ceremony and reception, from ribbons for floral arrangements to napkins and table linens to dresses! Rit All-Purpose Dye is perfect for washable fabrics with natural fibers, like cotton, linen, wool, silk, and ramie – or even for materials like nylon, rayon, paper, and wood. I’ve used Rit All-Purpose Dye to dip dye envelopes, create dip-dyed muslin favor bags, and even to dye my own Shibori-style pink dinner napkins! And did you know that there’s also Rit DyeMore for synthetic fibers?? You can use Rit DyeMore for polyester, polyester cotton blends, nylong, acrylic, or acetate – or even faux fur! I’ll need to try that one next!
I was super excited to experiment with multiple Rit All-Purpose Dye colors to create this gorgeous watercolor-inspired backdrop. I mean, it’s a proven fact that rainbows make everything prettier. And a pastel rainbow? Even better! This pastel backdrop is made from a few rolls of white crepe paper spray dyed with fine mist spray bottles filled with Rit All-Purpose Dye. Using spray bottles to create a super fine dye mist leaves the most gorgeous watercolor effect on crepe paper and tissue paper, and the result is completely unique wedding and party décor that you won’t find anywhere else!
The best part about this DIY rainbow watercolor crepe paper backdrop is that you can completely customize the colors to suit your wedding color palette! Rit All-Purpose Dye is available in 50 shades, like Petal Pink, Coral, Violet, Aquamarine, and Kelly Green. Or you can create your own colors using the Rit Color Library, which includes color formulas to create over 500 additional colors – including Pantone on-trend colors by season! There’s seriously SO much color inspiration in the Rit Color Library! I love, love, love our pastel rainbow backdrop (you can find the specific color formulas I used a bit further below!), but I could also totally see a gorgeous ombré backdrop in several shades of a single color. How gorgeous would that be??

Step 1. First, you’ll need to pick your colors! The Rit Color Library breaks all of the color formulas down by parent color: red, orange, yellow, green, blue, purple, pink, brown, and gray. I knew I wanted spring-inspired colors, so I went with shades of pink, peach, light purple, blue, teal, mint green, and sunny yellow. But I can’t wait to try this again with different color combinations. Burgundy and blush? Lavender and deep dusty blue? Sage green and rose? Yes, yes, and yes!
Step 2. Now that you’ve chosen your colors, mix your colors according to the recommended formula in the Rit Color Library, dividing the recommended dye amounts by 1/4. Don’t forget to wear your protective gloves! We’re using smaller amounts of dye than we’d need if we were planning to dye textiles, but because we’re turning the dye into a super fine mist, we still need the dye to be a bit more concentrated and intense. Dividing the color formula recipe by four seemed to do the trick for me! Shake dye bottles before pouring. Using a measuring spoon, measure the amount of Rit All-Purpose Dye and carefully pour the dye into the small spray bottles, then fill the spray bottle with hot water. Shake carefully to mix.
Pro tip: be sure to label your bottles as you go, otherwise you’re bound to lose track of what’s what (trust me on this). I used a bit of washi tape and wrote the color formula on a small piece of tape, then taped the written formula to each bottle.
Here are the exact color formulas that I used to create the backdrop:
Step 3. Unravel each roll of white crepe paper until it’s one big long sheet, then place each sheet on top of a protective drop cloth on the floor of your workspace. Before you start spray dyeing, be sure to test your colors on a test sheet of crepe paper – or even just on a paper towel – and let it dry completely. The colors will become more intense as they dry! If a color is too dark, pour out a portion of the bottle and add more water to dilute the color. If you need a color to be darker, I found it easiest to pour out the entire 2.5 oz bottle and start over – usually doubling the original quantity of each color (i.e., going from 1/2 teaspoon of kelly green to 1 teaspoon of kelly green to get the perfect shade of mint green).
Step 4. Using one spray bottle at a time, spray a very light coat of Rit All-Purpose Dye all over each sheet of white crepe paper, using each dye color in rainbow order. I switched things up a bit with the color order; sometimes I would start with pink or peach at the top and work my way down to lavender, other times I started with lavender and end with blue. Whatever order you choose, place analogous colors next to each other (oranges into pinks into purples) so the colors flow smoothly into each other and don’t end up looking muddy. For the best and most consistent results, make sure the crepe paper doesn’t get too wet and blot the nozzle with a paper towel or a rag after 5-8 pumps to maintain a fine spray mist.
Step 5. Once you’ve dyed all of your crepe paper, apply a couple pieces of gaffer’s tape to one end of each sheet and tape the paper to the floor. Then, pull on the other side of the paper to remove the stretch in the crepe paper and tape the other end to the floor. Allow the crepe paper to dry completely, around 30 minutes, then remove the gaffer’s tape. It’s gentle enough that it shouldn’t tear the paper as long as you’re very careful while removing it!
Step 6. To hang the backdrop, use a few pieces of gaffer’s tape to adhere the crepe paper to long wooden dowels and use non-damaging, removable wall hooks to hang the backdrop. For added depth and visual interest, layer the crepe paper sheets over each other – or even cut some of the sheets into a variety of widths and mix them all together!
Ta da! It’s such a quick and easy way to add a dose of color to a wedding or party – and you can use the same technique to turn any white paper decorations into a rainbow, from round honeycombs to tissue paper fans and fringe crepe paper garlands! I absolutely LOVE this idea for a wedding ceremony backdrop – which you can reuse as a photo booth backdrop for the reception! Just be prepared for this backdrop to inspire a bit of twirling from your younger guests.
Pastels! Rainbows! Gah, I just love this DIY rainbow watercolor crepe paper backdrop SO much! But what do YOU think?? If you make this crepe paper backdrop for your wedding or party, be sure to share a photo on Instagram with the hashtag #madewithosbp so I can see it!

Some designers simply evoke a sense of walking into other worlds.
With a penchant for all things Italian, two designers that were transportive in their vision of their respective collections of Milan Fashion Week (MFW) SS18 used color and nature to their advantage in relaying a simple tale of timeless style.
Missoni
On Missoni‘s 20th Anniversary, aptly titled #Angela20, there was an interesting crusade of women wearing capes, speaking of politics via fashion, a common trend in NYFW, as well as giving women the pedestal of superpowers in a flamboyant role reversal. Underneath a canopy of rainbow hues that cast a luscious array of color in Missoni’s signature stripes, the runway consisted of models in distinctively eccentric outfits, mostly stripes at that. There were an array of dresses, lace slips, sheered lace and sleeves in contrasting blocks of color, frocks and short storks of sorts, as well as monochromatic outfits complimented by floral accessories and wide straw hats or trigonometric tent like headpieces in signature stripes. Most of the dresses were transparent, giving ample teasing eye candy and curved around the market for fit bodices. Jumpsuits, shorts and bell trousers also made their appearances, in inevitable pastel hues and sheer fabrics. Other accessories included light knits, bustier tied sweaters, pale cardigans, which acted more functionally in minimal coverage. The overall feel was a daring, breezy and light one, perfect for summer cocktail hours that blended into sultry nights. There was a dash of menswear too, with fierce colors adorned by street style clad men who adorned more technicolor outfits. From sweaters to denim style jackets to shirts and neckerchiefs, the menswear spoke of more prints and matching, again speaking to a switch in perceived notions. Overall, with a splash of color which is my sweet spot for fashion, it was an exhilarating statement to the world after 20 years of success.

Jil Sander
Scenography has been a forte in Milanese shows, and the Jil Sander show had a fully white landscape of open air vividness with a setting sun in the backdrop to radiate off the clean, stark and sober collection. Contrasting the former show, it was a minimalism that was layered with texture and detailing, which made for a beautiful runway collection. There was also a very trending interplay of gender neutral and cross-gender clothing, what with masculine angles and cuts mixed with feminine swaying fabrics, with interchangeable clothing between both male and female models. And so there was a majority of white clothing, with floor length shirt dresses, funky sleeves, fanned pleats and button ups, sometimes paired with slits and slippers. Overcoats and trenches in a navy hue with skinny belts in black leather were almost similar to a gothic or religious statement, but with the loose fits and flowing cuts, they worked to convey luxurious comfort and impeccable style. The oversized signature shirts by Sander had pleats, puffed sleeves, and were paired with loose fit pants, often styled with belts to relay a sense of versatility. They were often paired with suit jackets in boxy cuts, adding to the loose fit suit trend that was seen in so many shows. Sheer sweaters and asymmetric embroidery on a few navy and white dresses added to the textural variety of the line, while the color monotony gave way to a few tan and mustard pieces, like leather pants, suede jackets, and a pop of woolen green, blue and yellow to remind us that we sat in an open air space, between the flocks of nature for a simple, stylish and timeless runway.

What To Wear With White Jeans – Outfit Ideas
Waiting outside the fitting rooms, sees a woman come out wearing spanking new white jeans. *cringes and walks out of the store yet again.
Hashtag “storyofmyLife,” hashtag “everysingleshoppingexperienceeverrr”!But, it’s safe to say that it’s behind me now. Before you try and convince me that white jeans are not for you, let me tell you that I’ve been there and done that. You need to know how to style it, and that makes all the difference, and when you do, do it with confidence. We all do not have to be size zero or petite to pull off white jeans. Don’t trust me yet? Read on, and we’ll talk at the end of this post.
 20 Outfit Ideas
White jeans are not that difficult to style if you have the knack for styling it. Let’s look at 20 different outfits and styling ideas that prove this for you.
1. Chambray Shirt
Image: Shutterstock
Pairing your white jeans with anything in blue, be it denim, navy blue or anywhere in the Aqua spectrum, balances your look. And if nothing, try it with the chambray shirt which I’m sure is something we all must have in our closet. Pair it up with dull silver accessories or white colored jewelry depending on your preference and occasion.
2. White Ripped Jeans With Off-Shoulder Top
Image: Instagram
Ripped jeans and off-shoulders is everything the fashion world is raving about. So, why not bring them both together? Wear pink color pumps or wedges, and long dazzler earrings to get heads turning.
3. White Jeans With Tied-Up Shirt
Image: Instagram
White jeans alone brings in the style quotient to your outfit, so everything you play around is just above and beyond which makes it even better. So, when you’re in a mood for something stylish yet comfy, team it up with a loose checkered shirt and tie it up (or not). Complete the look with a messy bun, white sneakers, sling bag and aviators maybe.
4. White Jeans With Black Top And Accessories
Image: Instagram
Or throw in a flowing spaghetti or ruffled black top that adds definition and is not just a contrast to your white jeans. With simple and elegant tops like these, the theme is easy to pull off yet gives it a chic final look. Wear flats, get some beach waves and a nude lipstick to balance it all out.
5. White Jeans With A Nude Choker Style Top
Image: Instagram
Choker style tops and sweaters are omnipresent. And with a choker top, you would not even need any accessories. A classy hair updo, wedges, and a half-tuck is all you need.
6. Matching Sets
Image: Instagram
Matching sets, much-wow! If you are a white jeans veteran and have done basic styling, explore the matching set style, you’d love it! It’s uptown, sophisticated and classy!
7. White Jeans And Brown Boots For Winters Or Spring
Image: Instagram
I know it might be a bad idea for people who live in snow-prone areas, but for the others, brown boots and white jeans are cool. A light colored tank, a shrug and brown boots with jeans are perfect for spring or winters.
8. Layer It Up
Image: Instagram
Running out of time for a sudden party plan? Just throw in a pair of white jeans, plain V-neck or tank top and layer it up with a cape or kimono. A beautiful long neck piece, tote bag, and red lipstick will make up for everything.
9. White Jeans And A Bold Red Top
Image: Instagram
Don’t shy away from sporting that bright red top and red accessories. Add zing to your brunch or lunch meetings with this outfit.
10. With Neon Colored Tops
Image: Instagram
Yay! Neon colors are vibrant, zesty and fun. Pick up that lemon yellow top and wear it above white ripped jeans. Sport the no-accessories look, tie your hair in a Dutch braid and finish it with orange lipstick.
11. Match It With Pink Undertones
Image: Instagram
You might think two subtle colors might fall flat. But if it’s done well, it can stand out and makes for a poised yet elegant attire. Plain pastel or pink V-neck T-shirt with similar colored ballerinas or pumps, with fine gold jewelry, gold colored handbag, and a no-makeup look will slay it!
12. With Floral Tops For Spring
Image: Instagram
Prep it up in spring with a bright floral top. Keep the accessories simple for this one which can otherwise be loud and distasteful. A tiny body bag and nude wedges are good to go.
13. With A Plain T-shirt And Sequin Jacket
Image: Instagram
Who said you couldn’t party in white jeans? Effortless, quick and fancy! That’s what this statement is! Get creative with shoes, and you barely need any accessories.
14. Monochrome Look
Image: Instagram
Monochrome, a term that is buzzing in the fashion world. Instead of plain white tops or T-shirts try this ruffled top that adds definition to your monochrome look. You can break the silhouette with dark color accessories or stick to white.
15. With A Crop Top And Blazer
Image: Instagram
Crop top and blazer is another fun way to style your white jeans. The jacket can be leather too if you want to make it funky and cool.
16. White Jeans And Gray Top
Image: Instagram
Gray top is not the first thing that comes to your mind when you think of pairing with white jeans, but take another good look, and you will agree that it’s actually ultra chic and modish. Shift gears with accessories and try an entirely different color like this one, you’ll thank us later.
17. White Jeans And Crop Top For Summers
Image: Instagram
Keep summer dressing stylish, elegant and comfortable with a pastel colored crop top over your ripped white jeans. Go with matching wedges or gladiator sandals to keep the style quotient on point.
18. With A Contrast Top
Image: Instagram
The best part about wearing white jeans is, your options are nearly unlimited. With the bottom in white, you can go with any contrast color top and match all your accessories with it.
19. With A Striped Top
Image: Instagram
A black and white stripes top is the simplest way to style your white jeans. And with tops like these, both white and black accessories are equally good.
20. With A Formal Blazer
Image: Instagram
This is one of my favorite looks because nothing makes you look more dapper like this blazer, white pumps and the body bag combination. *I heart it*
What not to wear under white pants?
Image: Shutterstock
More than anything, be vigilant with your underwear when you are wearing white pants. That’s a gaffe most of us make while putting together the outfit considering they are white jeans. Also, going commando is not an option! I had to put it out there. Another thing worth mentioning is to not add too many colors in the name of color blocking, it can get gaudy and flash. If you decide to try bold colors, by all means, do it but do not mix them up. Keep it tasteful and proportionate.
Which color top can go with white jeans?
Image: iStock
There is no one best or wrong choice of color with white jeans. If you are minimalistic and elegant with your outfits, then pastel undertones, gray and stripes with similar accessories are good. If bright and vibrant defines you, then neons, florals, stripes, and contrast colored tops work perfectly for you. If you are an in-betweener then a mix of everything in proportions, stripes, and chambray shirts, etc. will suit you best.
What shoes to wear with white jeans?
Image: Shutterstock
There are two ways of dealing with shoes with white jeans. Either go with light and nude colored pumps, wedges or flats depending on your comfort irrespective of your top color. Or, go with matching shoes to look on point. However, wearing shoes that are slightly elevated makes a lot of difference. If you are short and conscious, wedges or pumps do the trick for you. Pom-pom flats and gladiators are also interesting choices.
Expert’s Answers For Readers’ Questions
What to wear with white jeans on a night out?
It depends on where you’re headed. If it’s a date night (out) then try the sequin blazer look; if it’s a casual night dinner outing with friends, then striped crop top look is perfect.
What underwear is suitable to wear under white jeans?
Like we just discussed, wear a seamless and light color underwear. You can never take a chance with anything white.
Gone are the days when white jeans were meant for women with thin and perfect body types. I hope you take this plunge and try it; there will be no looking back. Do you still have any more questions that are bothering you? Shoot them by leaving a message in the comment section below. Happy Shopping!
