What about some headcanons for Nessarose?

Oooooh. Now here's a challenge!

Knows she's the favorite and has used it to her advantage. Shell and Elphaba always know that if they want something from Frex, it's best to go through Nessa, because she has such a hold on him.

Plays a classical instrument, like a violin or the piano (musicalverse, for obvious reasons...)

Is actually a very adept politician, just a ruthless one.

Not asexual or aromantic, just never really wanted to marry or start a family.

Could actually be a bit of internalized ableism in it too. Since she has a disability she thinks she'd never be a "good mother". So early on in life just put the thought away of wanting a family and never looked back. (and why marry if you don't want to start a family? -> the unionist indoctrinate was strong there).

This gal just loves banter, especially with her siblings. The more she insults you, the more she cherishes your opinions.

Curses like a sailor, actually, but nobody ever hears it (except maybe Elphaba, who heard her once or twice). Nessa always makes sure to be proper around others so most people think she doesn't curse at all (if only they knew...).

Around 20 she figured out the one outfit that suits her perfectly and she has never strained from it since. Her closet looks identical with the exact same outfit over and over again.

This is dark and I never thought about it, but when Nessa got swallowed by the cyclone... do you think she actually was alive still for a bit? If so, she'd either: 1) be super stubborn, think this is part of the Unnamed God's plan and stand by everything she'd done. 2) have a "come-to-jesus" moment in the final seconds before she dies, and realize the fucked up shit she has done in her life. and she know what she did was bad, because why else would God punish her like this? I think both could fit her character, honestly.
