One of my favorite things about one piece is Nami.

She’s such a complicated character and I love her so much. Too me she’s like a stereotypical butch lesbian living in a femme lesbian body and instead of that causing her any strife she’s like “perfect, now I can manipulate men for money!”

As she should!

But that’s not even all of it!

She’s a heavy drinker, but she’s also still scared of bugs. She’s really violent and money hungry but she also not the physically strongest straw hat by a long shot. It’s what I love about Nami x Vivi so much! You can draw/write them however you want because they can both be both femme or butch, but the real winners are the people who draw them as they are.

Vivi is a strong confident, if a tad bit inexperienced, woman who will stop at nothing to protect the people she cares about while Nami is a stedfast villian (spoken with affection) who is overly experienced and plenty pissed off. They love each other in the way all strawhats have to which is queer and unclear to say the least.

Com Godbrand (Castlevania), na ambição e desejo por poder, além das piadinhas inconvenientes. Com Billy Hargrove (Stranger Things), no humor instável e no comportamento autodestrutivo, sem falar nos daddy issues. Com Juma (Pantanal), na postura rústica e na dificuldade em confiar. Com Maximus (Tangled), na teimosia e no relacionamento com seu daemon (o Wolfsbane é o Flynn, óbvio). Com Edmund Pevensie (As Crônicas de Nárnia) por ser facilmente manipulável. i dont know if anyone picked up the vibes from Duck, Duck, Goose but Penny is a really weird kid, no one has requested like little kid (4-7) penny so I haven’t expanded upon it but she’s a weird kid. An Unexpected Gift

Gatz bumped into someone at the festival, someone he has only known of but never spoke to. They spoke for a minute and they asked him for a favor. Being a rather close acquaintance, he agreed. Christmas morning, Gatz and Morgan snuck out super early to the town square before the break of dawn, making sure all speakers were live and ready. Gatz and Morgan took their positions, out of site from the public, waiting for the cue. The moment the Sun started to rise, the man nodded to them. With the speakers ready, the microphone on, and the lights coming on to display, the man raises the mic to his mouth and begins to sing with with a chorus of Chatot and Squawkabillys on the tree. And now, ready to wake everyone up gently, Raiden begins singing.

"Have yourself a merry little Christmas, Let your heart be light. From now on, our troubles will be out of sight.

Have yourself a merry little Christmas. (Merry little Christmas) Make the Yuletide gay. (Make the Yuletide gay) From now on, our troubles will be miles away.

Here we are as in olden days, Happy golden days of yore. Faithful friends who are dear to us, Gather near to us once more.

Suddenly something floats up to the top of the tree, balancing on top of it. And chimes in loud and proud for all to hear.

The Victini flies off with all the singing bird pokemon and cheers excitedly, the birds repeating what Vivi says perfectly.

Send a 👫and I’ll write four headcanons I have about our muse’s relationship --- @ncfertari !

i always felt that robin definitely had a feeling, or at least didn't come as a surprise to her that vivi and igaram were double agents within baroque works long before the reveal. but, she never outed the pair to crocodile. robin's aim was never to destroy alabasta or take control over it, but to use her association with crocodile and baroque to get to the poneglyph. she's always had a back up plan to get to it, so she didn't have any reason for herself to out vivi.

as vivi rose up the ranks, robin would every so often request to be paired with herself and mister five on missions to "oversee". really, robin was interested in seeing how far vivi would go in regards to her cover, what her resolve was like, and evaluate her risk as a threat to her own objective. i think she would very selectively let slip some of the details of crocodile's plans, disguising it as her being trusting of vivi as a member, but rather giving her a chance to have a upperhand.

in the event that vivi joins the strawhats, after the confrontation with aokiji, robin formally apologizes to vivi for the part she took in attempting to destroy alabasta. she would admit that she believed any verbal apology would never be good enough and wanted to instead show that she aimed to lead a different life. but, now having faced near death, it would not have sat right with her not to at least attempt to apologize for the pain she's caused her. but she doesn't expect to be forgiven.

once vivi and robin can set aside the past and be friends ( well after enies lobby ), i picture them being paired often together in battles, often coming to each other's aid. their battle chemistry is surprisingly fluid and they complement each other in that regard in various ways. plus, their joined knowledge of other countries, history, culture and vivi's skill in diplomacy specifically really help them to get around and provide insight to the whole crew when traveling.

#exploring the drama between vivi and robin both being #on the crew directly after alabasta is a LOT for sure #like i feel that it gets really tense at times #but once they're able to get to a good place #i think they'd be a powerful duo for sure #ncfertari #inbox messages. #*✭˚･ﾟ✧*･ﾟ* ⸻ member of the sogeking fanclub ( ooc ). #*✭˚･ﾟ✧*･ﾟ* ⸻ take me out to sea with you ! a desire to live ( nico robin ). #muse.

Getting back into it

I am so behind on reading fics, it's ridiculous. But I just finished moving and things did not go as planned for most of it. So, I am drowning in boxes but I have my computer set up (minus my second monitor)!!! And have thus far staved off the new Skyrim update. Fingers crossed I can keep that going until more skse mods update. But I'm itching to play around with the new CK updates. I'm hoping that the stability means my NPC replacer work will go more smoothly. We'll see lol.

I actually wrote an original fiction piece for NaNoWriMo! It's only got like 3-5 chapters left to write before I let it sit then edit the hell out of it. It's likely the last time I'll do NaNo but I'm happy to leave it on a note of 75k of an (imo) fun fantasy-romance book. It's been a while since I felt good about an original fiction story I was working on so, I'm happy I started it.

Now to get back into the swing of reading/writing fanfic and figure out a schedule so I can balance both fanfic and original fiction. ^_^

ah, now this was a pleasant surprise…the lamb had not been expecting to hear such poignant words come from a complete and total stranger. looking up towards the other with a rather knowing expression, they nod, a clear gesture of reciprocation offered in response.

“we could not have said it better ourselves, stranger…”

“for we have always been drawn to the night sky. is it the same for you, as well?”

they are quite curious to hear her answer, now…after all, there is a familiar sort of energy in the way that she holds herself. perhaps the two of them might share more common ground, yet?

Although familiar this homey energy had been perceived, about the air it felt fickle with a strange, wavering interference that couldn’t exactly pin itself down; like a fuzzy, heavy set of static that was almost being muffled by thick cotton.  Soft as she may have outer appeared, this dame held herself with a self-reliant regard in her straighten stature, even if it seemed as a conscious choice or not on her part.  In her hands, a glimmering, lavender colored crystallite lit up the pale whites and blues of her features and wooly clothes, making her contrast against the dark shades of the night as she basked them both in the vibrant crystal’s light.  Vivi offers the little lamb a youthful smile, being a gentle distinction beneath the weighted posture she took to rest her back against the bark of an ancient looking weeping willow.  Perhaps weighed down by something much more, but the years haven’t seemed to have caught up with them just yet.

“I wouldn’t have said it better myself, with all the pals I’ve spent on these long midnights with, either.”  She answers back with a faint shrug of her slumped shoulders.  A light, cool breeze blows against them both, allowing a light pour of leafs to fly past them as the wind blows some of the azure hair out of the investigator’s face.  Autumn has always been the crispiest, when it came to hearing all the little critters scampering about the forest floor, when the cold air was just starting to settle in.  “There’s always been a bit of freedom in these late, quiet hours of the dark.  Normally I don’t find someone on my walks in this part of the forest to fill in the dull silence of the night though.”  With a slight tilt of her head, she looks the other down with a reflective inquisitive look that could match the lamb’s own.

One leg is crossed over another with the way she’s leaned against the tree’s trunk.  “Would ya like to entertain me a bit by accompanying me through the thick of these woods, if not for a lil chat, Wanderer?”  She asks.  “Ya seem like quite an interesting character to find yourselves in this side of the woods.  I don’t think I’ve met someone who’s been eager to travel this far, anyways.”

“The name’s Vivi, by the way.”  She offers out her free hand with the intent to shake theirs.  “What’s yours?”
