Time Loop AU:
It’s Sunday when Jason finds Eddie at the boathouse and ends up killing him.
It’s also Sunday when Jason wakes up in his own bed the next day, when he knows he was escorted to the police station. Maybe it was all just a dream, but the day goes exactly the same. Eddie seems to dodge the bullet Jason tried to put into his chest, like he’s somehow done this before. The freak escapes, and he goes home, defeated.
He wakes up and it’s Sunday again. Neither of them talk about it, just go through the routine.
On day 5, Eddie actually gets the upper hand and kills Jason instead of the other way around. He ambushes Jason in his own home, before he even gets a chance to go to the boathouse
By day 10 Jason’s finally stopped killing Eddie. He figures it’s useless. They both always come back anyway, doesn’t matter if Jason dies or if Eddie does, or neither or even both. They’re always back.
By day 30 Eddie manages to convince Jason he didn’t kill Chrissy. He shows him the body and everything, and they discover the portal in Eddie’s ceiling. They spend a few days searching through it.
By day 60 they’ve figured everything out. They bullshit their way into the asylum and talk to Creel, using a few days to follow different paths of questioning.
On day 90 they take a flight to California and find the Byers, Mike, and El. They repeat for the next few days until they get all the answers they need. El straight up kills Jason a few times and that’s kind of annoying, though.
By day 120 they’ve killed Vecna two or three different times. The loop still hasn’t ended.
By day 160 they’ve driven to both Canada and Mexico together, breaking every speed law there is.
Day 180 when they realize they love each other.
It’s day 200 when they finally kiss, and they wake up on a Monday.

“Stop shining that flashlight on me! I’m not a damn ghost!”
Jason clicked the flashlight off with a scowl, leaving them in darkness.
“Better? You might as well be, with how pale you are. Pretty sure if I put the flashlight to your hand it would shine right through.” He clicked his tongue and turned the light back on, pointed at Eddie’s chest.
“Scare me like that again, and I will make you a ghost, got it?” He threatened, beckoning with a hand as he kept his flashlight on him, distrusting.
“Now come nicely, and quietly,” He hissed it, putting emphasis on the order. “And I won’t have to out your little hiding spot to my friends.”

Munver story idea.
I would write this but I feel like this isn't my story to write, besides I wouldn't do it justice.
Anyway what if Jason had powers?
So he was adopted, there was no record of his birth parents he was just thrusted into the system as an infant.
A pastor and his wife couldn't have children so they adopted Jason when he was a year and half.
When he was five that's when the nightmares started, it was his aunt drowning in Lovers Lake he begged his parents to listen to him. But they didn't and a week later Jason's aunt was found drowned in Lovers Lake the police deemed it an accident but Jason's parents well they thought differently.
They thought Jason was possessed by Satan himself, so they basically traumatized their son trying to get the "demon" out, after that he kept the nightmares to himself.
Over the years he saw his dog dying, his moms accident, his grandmothers cancer, his grandfather death and so on and so forth.
He threw himself into religion trying to repress the visions which were getting worse and he started taking anything to stop the headaches and the nightmares.
When he was sixteen it moved into his hands, Andy broke his arm and he was terrified but all Jason had to do was touch him and he calmed almost immediately.
The visions of Chrissy dying started when he was seventeen, he saw her on Eddie's ceiling he saw as every bone in her body snapped. He tried saving her by loving her because he thought maybe if he loved her hard enough it wouldn't happen.
When he turned eighteen it moved into his voice, he was able to get anyone to do what he wanted even when they didn't want to. He never used it against someone intill he used it against Eddie.
By the time March rolled around, his visions got worse, so did the headaches to the point they started happening when he was awake. He would get horrible nose bleeds afterwards.
Chrissy wasn't just getting drugs for herself but also Jason because she sees how much he's struggling.
After Chrissy died everything got worse, he saw Fred dying, Patrick, Max. He thought it was his fault mostly because Chrissy wouldn't stop haunting his nightmares, he was getting little to no sleep because she would appear on the ceiling going.
"You knew I was going to die a year before I did and you still let this happened, I thought you loved me."
And well that was enough to make him snap.
He tried using his powers on Eddie but they didn't work on Eddie not at all.
So the question is why didn't they work on Eddie? Is Jason like Eleven? Was he just born cursed or is it more sinister than that?

"for munver, maybe a prompt 'learning to be gentle'?" - static-fucking-mess
Tumblr media
Jason was a bad parent.
Eddie would argue otherwise, and he knew that. But Eddie wasn't awake right now. He wasn't here to ward away the thoughts that ate away at the delicately-crafted fail-safes Eddie had helped instill in him like acid.
Simon wailed in his arms as Jason bounced him softly, doing his best to cradle his head in the correct position. The nurse had showed him how a dozen times, because he hadn't been sure he could trust his own memory enough. He left the hospital carrying that insecurity with him regardless.
All the baby books he had read stressed how delicate newborns were. That you had to treat them like the finest China. One wrong move and you could end up a grieving parent.
Anxiety bubbled up his gut and into his chest, the stress twisting his face and tightening his muscles. He shushes the baby softly, trying a different bouncing pattern. "It's okay, angel. I- I got you.."
Eddie was so much better at calming the baby than Jason was. The metalhead would just bundle their son into his tatted arms and sing a soft rendition of some Black Sabbath song he'd been learning on guitar until the cries quieted.
Jason had called it magic. Eddie had laughed.
Eddie was better at everything, it seemed. It had intimidated Jason in the beginning of their relationship. He could absolutely shred a song on his guitar, he was a brilliant storyteller, and he was a pretty amazing father. This man was the full package if Jason had ever seen one.
All Jason was really good at was high school basketball, and that wasn't getting him anywhere. It wasn't like he was going to go pro. He wasn't even going to college.
Eddie always told him that was okay. That college wasn't for everyone. That he made enough to support them on one income and all Jason had to do was 'sit at home and be pretty as always.'
He truly didn't deserve that man. Not when he was this spectacularly awful at simple tasks.
No matter what he seemed to do tonight, it only served to make Simon cry more. This tiny human being was relying on him to be a source of comfort, and he couldn't even provide that.
Jason was always acutely aware that he used to be this small once. He had been this small and this delicate, and his parents still couldn't keep themselves from hurting him. How was he supposed to be sure he wouldn't do the same?
Burning tears formed on Jason's lash line, his throat growing impossibly tighter. His face crumbled, a few wet drops forming on Simon's swaddle. He felt tight all over, fingers starting to shake slightly around his child.
"I'm sorry," Jason croaked quietly to the boy who was far too young to understand the weight of his words. "I'm trying."
"I know you are." A voice mumbled from behind him, strong arms wrapping around his body and bracketing his own.
Eddie nosed his shoulder, pressing a gentle kiss there. "He won't go down?"
Jason shook his head, hiccupping through the sobs escaping his throat. "I-I tried the bouncing a-and the- the-"
Eddie shushed him, this time kissing the shell of his ear. "He's crying because he knows you're stressed. It's making him stressed."
"Please take him." Jason felt like no matter what he did, he was just making it worse. Like destruction and unrest were embedded in the print of his hands, destined to ruin everything he dared to touch.
"No." Was all Eddie said in response, gentle but firm.
"Eddie, please, I can't-"
But Eddie was no longer listening, instead rubbing smooth patterns into the back of his hands. He began to sway them back and forth, leaving more kisses across the expanse of his neck and ear. "Just breathe... In for four, hold for four, out for six... Like we talked about..."
It takes some more coaching, but Jason finally began following along with Eddie's demonstrations. Until the breathing came naturally and he barely needed to wait for Eddie's prompting.
Before he can even realize it, Simon's sobs quieted, happily asleep in their arms.
If Jason wasn't so emotionally spent, he would've celebrated. Eddie gave them both a gentle squeeze. "C'mon, let's put him down."
All Jason can do is nod, slipping out of Eddie's hold and gently lowering Simon back into his crib. He turned back to Eddie, who now wore a gentle smile. There were deep bags under his eyes, clearly still tired. It made guilt pool in Jason's gut again.
Eddie reached out and takes Jason's hand, guiding him out of the nursery. But, instead of taking a left towards their bedroom, he goes right. Jason's brows furrowed as he's led to the living room. Eddie placed him on the couch, sitting him on the coffee table so they were at eye level.
"You said you would wake me up if that ever happened again, baby." Eddie's tone is anything but chastising, concerned eyes roaming his husband's face.
Jason hung his head down, lacing his fingers together between his legs. "You were exhausted-"
"So are you."
Fingers capture Jason's chin, forcing his face back up towards Eddie. "Talk to me." His voice was pleading, searching Jason's eyes for any indication of what might be going on behind them.
Jason was too weak to fight it, face twisting with more tears as his eyes fall closed. "I'm no good, Eds. I'm gonna fuck him up, I know I'm gonna-"
"Hey, no-" Eddie cut him off, vigorously shaking his head. "Jace, don't say that. We talked about this."
"I can't even hold him without tensing up. You saw him in there, he hates me." Jason made a vague gesture in the direction of the nursery before dropping his arm.
"He does not hate you, baby. He's not even two weeks old yet-"
"He cries every time I try and hold him."
"Because you're always so anxious, you never relax around him-"
"Eddie."
Eddie pursed his lips to stop himself, a thoughtful expression on his face. He gave a small nod, encouraging Jason to finish his point without further interruption.
Jason sighed, shoulder's slumping. "I can't seem to do anytime right with him, Eddie. I'm failing him at every turn. I'm scared he's gonna grow up and resent me the way I do my dad. I thought I was ready for this, I did. But... fuck." He leaned forward, resting his elbows on his knees and threading his fingers through his own hair.
Eddie was quiet for an almost worrying amount of time. Jason started to wonder if Eddie was mad at him. He couldn't imagine that being the case, Eddie never having been the type to be quick to anger over things like this. But that didn't stop Jason's stomach from rolling over at the thought coupled with the silence.
However, Eddie finally broke the tension by cupping Jason's face. He doesn't even have to guide his face upwards this time, Jason instinctively easing into the warm touch of his love.
Brown eyes met misty blue, the pad of the metalhead's thumb brushing Jason's cheekbones tenderly.
"I'm scared, too." Eddie said simply, almost chuckling at the way Jason's face screws in confusion and borderline offense. "I'm serious."
"Okay, but-" Jason wobbled his head in some vague gesture of bewilderment. "How come you're..." His words trailed off, eyes searching.
"Not completely losing it?" Eddie supplied, no hint of condescension or judgment. Jason can only nod.
A puff of breath escaped Eddie's lips as he looks up at the ceiling, as if the answer were somewhere in popcorn pattern. After a long pause, he met Jason's eyes, a sudden fondness in his gaze. "Because of you?"
Before Jason could even question his words, Eddie continued. "When we first decided that we... wanted this... I was waking up in cold sweats. Kept having nightmares that I dropped our kid, or I hit them, or that I was some other god awful excuse of a parent."
Jason felt his stomach drop. He hadn't had the slightest idea any of that was happening. He thought Eddie took everything better than he did during this entire process. He almost asked Eddie why they never talked about it, but that would've made him a hypocrite.
Eddie smiled then, brushing some hair behind Jason's ear. He'd been growing it out on Eddie's suggestion, shaggy blonde hair now haloing his head. Eddie called Jason his angel.
"But then I saw you. This... badass force of nature. Someone who looked his own family lineage in the eyes and said definitively that you wanted to be different. You threw yourself into every parenting book and online course and YouTube.. whatever-the-fuck." He chuckled, sounding almost disbelieved. "Nobody has this stuff figured out from the get-go. No one wants to admit it, but every first time parent is terrified. It's completely natural, even for people who haven't been hurt the way you have. But you didn't let that stop you from putting your all into this. All because you wanted nothing more than to give this kid the best possible life he could ever have. The life neither of us ever got to have."
Jason started tearing up again, but Eddie was quick to start wiping them away as soon as they fell, smile never wavering. "And I thought... 'fuck, if Jason Alexander Munson of all people can be brave about this, then I can be too.'"
As another soft sob left Jason's lips, Eddie pulls him into a tight hug. "You are the most metal person I've ever known. If anyone can get this parenting shit on lock, it's you."
It took Jason another few minutes to calm down, face puffy and nose clogged. But he felt a lot less heavy, so at least that was something.
"Thank you..."
"You always thank me for all the tiniest things."
"Yeah, but this isn't tiny."
Eddie hummed, seemingly unable to argue against that. He pressed a kiss to Jason's forehead before they separated. "Are you ready to go back to bed now?"
Jason thought for a moment before shaking his head. "You go ahead. I just need some time to myself."
Eddie seemed reluctant, but ultimately conceded. "Just... don't stay up too late, okay?" Jason smiled then, small but prominent on his face even in the moonlit room. "I won't, I promise."
Satisfied with that answer, leaning forward to peck Jason's lips before getting up.
Jason wasn't sure how long he sat there in actuality. If you said anywhere between five minutes and two hours, he would've believed you.
His thoughts cycled through many different things. Memories of his parents, memories of his earlier years with Eddie, memories of their wedding day-
But slowly, through the quiet chaos, a resolve started to take hold in Jason's chest. One moment, he was on the couch. The next, he was padding down the hallway in the direction of the nursery.
He stands over his sleeping son, just watching him for a while. The rise and fall of his little chest through the dinosaur-print swaddle Dustin had gifted them at the shower. The way his little nostrils periodically flared with his breaths.
Jason hesitated, wiping his clammy palms on his pajama pants as he tried to hype himself up.
If anyone can get this parenting shit on lock, it's you.
With the delicacy of disarming a live bomb, Jason reached into the crib, gently picking up Simon and maneuvering him into his arms. The infant startled slightly, which almost made Jason lock up all over again.
But Eddie's words rang in his head, over and over like a broken record. I got this.
Keeping his body as relaxed as possible, he started to sway in a pattern he'd seen Eddie do a lot. After a lot of internal debate, he starts to hum Here Comes the Sun by The Beatles. It wasn't Ozzy, by any means, but he hoped it was soothed Simon all the same.
Gradually, Simon's soft fussing dissipated, relaxing back into peaceful sleep while still in Jason's arms.
A wave of intense emotions hit Jason like a tidal wave, unsure if he should laugh or cry. But he does neither, biting his tongue as he sat down in the rocking chair as carefully as he could manage.
He knew he needed to sleep soon, and he really wouldn't stay up long. But with the moon illuminating the nursery, his son in his arms, he found it hard to find any reason to favor sleep over this.
Jason wasn't in a rush.

Not sure if you ship Jason (in case you don't, Sorry 🥹)
I'd love a sfw (fluffy?) Jason/Eddie with the prompt child friends that grow apart
I've been meaning to write more Munver for ages. However, I somehow missed the fluffy part of the ask and whilst there's some fluff near the end I think this is mostly angsty? It's really hard not to write Munver with angst though.
TW: religious trauma, homophobic slurs
Jason was drunk. Not overly but definitely enough that the careful facade he’d created as the top jock, good Christian boy was wearing thin. It usually didn’t matter, when he was at parties with his ‘friends’ drink normally just made him louder.
However, this wasn’t a party with just his friends. It was an open-door high school party where anyone could walk in. Which is exactly what had happened.
“Ugh, they’re really just letting anyone in here, aren’t they?” He said, his lips curling into a sneer. He expected Eddie to say something back, something over the top and ridiculous, like he always did. Somehow the simple, unimpressed eyebrow raise was much more devastating.
Eddie turned on his heel and walked out of the party, leaving Jason standing there feeling like perhaps the biggest tool in the world.
“What? You got nothing to say freak? That’s really all it took?” he shouted, feeling the weight of everyone’s eyes on him. He swallowed painfully as Eddie tossed him one last, curiously blank, look over his shoulder.
This wasn’t how it was supposed to go. They were supposed to spar, supposed to toss insults at each other. Eddie was supposed to have that little half-smile that he always did when they interacted. He wasn’t supposed to be acting like this.
Because this was scarily close to how he’d acted all those years ago. Back in middle school, when Jason had first turned on him. He could still remember Eddie’s innocent, child-like face when Jason had told him they weren’t friends anymore. He saw it in his dreams enough that it was seared into his memory.
Eddie had looked hurt initially, which was fair. They had been best friends for years, and Jason’s betrayal had surely come out of left field. Eddie had never been one to mask his emotions, so Jason had seen, clear as day, when his pretty brown eyes had filled with tears. But then he’d shaken his head, his shorter, soft curls bouncing as he did so and when he’d opened his eyes again, they had been blank.
And then he’d nodded, told Jason that if that was what he wanted it was fine. He’d walked away without looking back.
Well, Jason wasn’t going to let him do it again. Ignoring the ever-present voice in the back of his head telling him that this was all his fault, he stormed out of the house and over to Eddie’s familiar van. Wrenching the back door open, he was hit with the sickly-sweet smell of weed, his nose wrinkling before he could stop himself.
Eddie stared at him, taking another drag of his joint before resting his wrist on his bent knee again.
“You’re really just gonna walk away?” Jason asked, desperation entering his voice as he climbed into the van and sat down opposite his childhood friend.
“That’s what you wanted, right?” Eddie asked, blowing smoke in his direction. “Look Jace, I may have to put up with your bullshit at school, but this is my Saturday night. I'm not gonna stay around to get shit on if I don’t have to.”
“I...” Jason clumped back against the wall of the van, staring down at the half empty beer bottle in his hand. “Sorry.”
Eddie didn’t say anything for a long while, just took another drag, stubbing the joint out in an ashtray on the floor. “Whatever man, just get out of my van.”
“No.” Jason replied instantly. “I want... I want to talk to you.”
Eddie snorted and looked away, head thudding gently against the wall. “Why now? It’s been like 3 years dude.”
“Because I...”
“Look, if you’re about to give me some bullshit apology then save it. I don’t wanna hear it, especially from some drunk asshole.” Eddie waved towards the still open doors of the van, rolling onto his knees and reaching for Jason like he was going to physically push him out.
“Wh-why didn’t you ever fight me?” Jason asked, pressing himself harder against the van wall. “When I told you we couldn’t be friends anymore. Why didn’t you ever try to keep me?”
Eddie flopped back onto his ass, staring at Jason in bewilderment. “Why didn’t I keep you?” He repeated, his voice rising in incredulity near the end of the question. “Jason, do you not remember how you ended things? You didn’t say we couldn’t be friends anymore, you said...don’t you remember what you called me? What you accused me of?”
Jason felt a chill go down his spine as the memory resurfaced. He must have blocked that bit out, remade their last friendly interaction into something softer to protect his own feelings from how awful he’d been. “I... I didn’t mean it.” He whispered.
“Then why the fuck did you say it?” Eddie asked, which was a fair question but not one that Jason wanted to answer. “Why did you call me a fag? Why did you act like it was the worst thing in the world to like men? Why did you call me a fucking devil?”
“Becau... I... they made me.” Jason stuttered, tears gathering behind his eyes.
Eddie blinked at him. “What are you talking about?”
“My parents found my diary. They saw... they saw what I wrote about you. They told me I had to stop being friends with you... because you were causing me to stumble... because if I wasn’t around you then I'd stop... being a fag.”
Eddie knew about his parents, about the things they did to ‘discipline’ him. Jason could only assume that that was why, instead of kicking him out and refusing to ever speak to him again, Eddie pulled the van doors closed. “Jace, are you gay?” Eddie asked gently.
Jason shook his head vigorously before he could stop himself. “N-no... I'm good, I'm a good person.” He said desperately, like if he spoke the words out loud it would make them true.
“I’m gay Jace, do you think I'm a bad person because of that?”
“No.” Jason couldn’t stop the tears flowing down his cheeks now. “And I don’t think you’re a bad person... even if everything I've been taught tells me otherwise.”
“You’re also not a bad person Jason.” Eddie smiled at him. “You’re an asshole, but you’re not a bad person.”
Jason pulled his knees up, pressing his forehead against them as he sobbed openly, his beer bottle still clutched in his hand. “Then why can’t I stop?”
“Stop what?” Eddie had edged closer at some point, and was now using his fingertips to tilt Jason’s chin up.
“Stop being in love with you.” Jason breathed, his words stuttering out of him as he waited for Eddie to react with disgust.
Eddie pried the beer from him, placing it on the floor before cupping Jason’s face with both hands. “I think it’s because that doesn’t make you a bad person either.” He leant forward slowly, clearly giving Jason time to pull away if he needed to, but he couldn't.
Instead Jason closed his eyes, accepting Eddie’s kiss with a sigh of relief.
“I love you too, Jace. Even after all these years.”

STWG Daily prompt 1/29/24
Prompt: Rare pair
tags: munver, blow job, it feels like a given that these mfs hate each other
“Whip it out big boy,” Eddie said, his knees already starting to ache from the forest floor. “Or, should I say slightly below average boy?”
“Do you ever shut up?” Jason snarls down at him, roughly tugging at his belt buckle so it harshly slaps across Eddie’s face.
“Oh, you want to be rough with me, huh? Better make sure I know my signals.”
“Munson, I swear to god, if you don’t shut your mouth I’ll leave you high and dry right fucking now,” he growls, a poor attempt at dominance morphing his features.
“As if you’ve ever even considered returning the favor,” Eddie says, his head tilting to the side in a teasing gesture. “Unless you have been thinking about it. Is that it, Carver? Been thinking about more than getting blown in the middle of the woods? You want to make me feel good for once? Want to fuck my hole until I’m screaming your name?”
“Shut. Up.”
Eddie turns up his nose, laughing at the scarlet fury alighting every visible inch of Jason’s skin.
“You want me quiet? I know you know what to do,” Eddie quips. “You like it though, don’t you? When I run my mouth off.”
“That’s enough,” Jason hisses, grabbing Eddie’s jaw harshly.
Eddie takes the signal for what it is, dropping his mouth open so Carver can slip his cock inside, use his throat until he’s too tired to keep going, and Eddie has to take over. In the back of his mind, Eddie feels bad for whatever poor girls have had the misfortune of bringing Carver into their bed, trying to make himself out to be the next Harrington, the next King, when he’s really just a Dollar Tree imitation.
His throat clenches around the harsh intrusion of Carver’s sloppy movements. He has no build up, no finesse, just aimlessly rutting his hips into Eddie’s face, letting out clipped grunts in time with his movements until Eddie’s had enough. He puts his hands on Jason’s hips and pushes off, catching his breath for just a moment.
“No wonder you need me to get you off like this. You have no idea what you’re doing, do you?” Eddie asks between gasping breaths, fighting to fill his lungs before diving back in. “Just stay still, princess. I’ll show you how it’s supposed to feel.”
“D-Don’t fucking call me that,” he tries, but Eddie has already got the tip in his mouth, swirling his tongue around the head, challenging him for control.
Eddie throws up the middle finger as he takes him down further, the tip lightly brushing the back of his throat in gentle strokes, worlds apart from how Jason bucked into him with no regard for even his own pleasure. Slowly, Eddie allows himself to open up his throat, swallowing him down just to prove he can use himself better than Carver can.
Above him, Jason’s head is thrown back in ecstasy, biting his lip as he tries to hold back his moans, lest he betray how utterly right Eddie is. But Eddie knows– can feel it in the barely constrained movements of Jason’s hips, in the way his breath hitches when Eddie’s hand cups his balls, massaging them gently as he swallows around him with renewed vigor; he’s not going to last long.
He lasts even less time than he usually does, coming down Eddie’s throat in record time, his hands on the table behind him as if avoiding touching will make this moment any less gay.
Eddie pops off with a smug look on his face that screams ‘I told you so,’ waiting for the other man to form a coherent thought.
Jason doesn’t even have his dick back in his pants before he’s spewing out in a rush, “We are never doing this again.”
Eddie hums noncommittally, inspecting the rings on his fingers.
“I’m serious, Munson,” Jason says, tucking himself back into his stupid little khakis. “The only reason I’m out here is because we lost the stupid game tonight.”
Eddie hums. “You said that last week too. If you really want to keep that word, I’d suggest getting better at basketball.”
In lieu of a retort, Jason storms off in a huff. Same as last week. Same as every week. And next week they’ll do it all over again.

I got that dawg in me. Munver for the heart man..yeha. Jason didn't die. Eddie didn't die. Well he did but... vampire/Kas Eddie has my fuckin heart lolz. This is a short one so.. don't expect much 🧑🏽‍💻
Tumblr media Tumblr media
"Eddie...?" Jason said, barely above a whisper. He couldn't believe his eyes. Eddie died. That was that. He's dead. Jason truely thought he was going insane. This prompted him to make his way towards Eddie, slowly.
"Touch me Carver, and I'll rip your hands off." Eddie spoke with agitation in his voice. Though he looked...scared? He looked as though he has been though hell and back.
Despite the threat, Jason proceeded. It was probably a dumb..DUMB idea, but he couldn't leave Eddie alone. They were in the middle of the woods near Lovers Lake at night. Who knows what could happen. Give him a break.
He got close to Eddie, scared as hell. Can you blame him? His hand slowly rose to touch him, but it's quickly grabbed.
"Yes, I'm real. I don't know how, but I am." Eddie grumbled before letting go of Jason's wrist. They sat in uncomfortable silence before Jason spoke up, "How..how are you...alive?" Eddie just gave him a look. "What..? You died!" He waved his hands around.
"Obviously, but uh...I didn't. Well, I did but y'know. I came back to 'life'" He put life in quotations. He saw Jason giving him a strange look and explained further, "I uh.. I'm not exactly human ya' see." He said, stratching his neck.
"What do you mean..?" Jason said, backing up. Eddie stared him down before walking towards him. Jason continued to back up until he hit a tree with a quick whisper of 'shit'.
Eddie towered over him. He gave a toothy smile and that's when Jason noticed the sharp teeth. All of his teeth were razor blade sharp, mainly his canines. They were sharper than the rest. God, Jason was damn near pissing his pants.
"Let's make a deal," Eddie spoke suddenly, making Jason jump, "I don't kill you for all the shit you put me through this past week and in return, you give yourself up to me." He said it with a wolfish grin. A grin Jason couldn't say no to, out of fear.
And God, he didn't know he wanted something so bad until now.

Wait there are less than 100 Munver fics??? This is just inspiring me more but I can't think of like an actual plot. Are there any like prompts or head cannons of yours that you could share?
Ok HELLOOOOOO YES. It’s creeping towards 100 but it’s less than, and a lot of them are not actually munver, but it’s a side pairing or past relationship that’s tagged. Anyway, on to the fun prompts and HC, stuff I’ve messed around talking about on discord or whatever but haven’t fleshed out.
1. They connect over music. Jason’s spent years singing in the church choir and playing in the church band and he finds Eddie’s music baroque and cool once they actually start talking about it. Maybe they’re both music majors in college who could say.
2. Obviously there’s so much you can do with Rockstar Eddie. Maybe Jason gets hired as his sobriety coach. Maybe bodyguard Jason, which feels very apt. Or maybe Jason is recording a Christian album and Eddie gets brought on as a studio musician (cue recording booth sex.)
3. Once Jason is out of the closet he is OUT. You think this loudmouth is hiding once he admits it? No way. I fully think he gives speeches at pride and volunteers with youth fleeing religious homes, probably partially out of guilt. Imagine Eddie wanting to take on some volunteer work and he walks in to find Jason fucking Carver is the head of the org.
4. Whether you like catholic Jason or Protestant Jason, nothing could be better than a boarding school au. Maybe Eddie gets sent there for misbehavior or he’s in on a music scholarship? Maybe Jason is head boy, because of course he is.
5. Classic Bully to lover sneaking around secret relationship. It’s just so them. Bully in the streets, shaking religious trauma in the sheets.
6. They’re such an odd couple but they have all these similarities. They’re both leaders in their own way. They both crave attention, though Jason seems to crave it for a very different reason than Eddie. I could see a debate club au, maybe Eddie’s there for extra credit and Jason is annoyed at how good he is. If I knew more about debate clubs I would so write this.
7. I touched on this in my other fic Serrated, but Lucas is sort of the odd man out in the party, in that he doesn’t have a teen or parent who’s really “his” and protective of him. Dustin has Steve, Mike has Nancy, El has Hopper or Joyce, Max had Billy. But I could see a better universe where Jason is brought into the party shenanigans and is actually Lucas’s guy. And maybe confronts his own racial prejudice and racism, helps Eddie, and protects Max and Lucas at the end.
8. I also think it’s just funny to put them in wacky scenarios like the upside down turns them both into frogs and they have to work together to de-frog. Neither of them are princes but it would be funny.

An AU where Eddie is accident prone and Jason is an ER nurse. It's the chaotic fluff that the ship deserves
The first time Eddie signs himself into the hospital he has a visibly broken nose and Jason’s been working for about three weeks straight with no days off. He says he fell down the stairs, tripped by his cat. Jason has better things to do than take care of this idiot, but gets assigned to him anyway.
He stays for only a day before checking himself out, but he’s back within the week; a minor concussion this time. After that, Eddie’s in the ER at least once a week. He insists his apartment is haunted, but in reality he’s just clumsy.
He’s a hospital regular by what’s about his fifteenth visit, and almost every time he’s there Jason is his attending nurse. Now, Jason fucking hates Eddie with his stupid accidents and his stupid face that totally isn’t attractive.
By his twentieth visit, Jason is assigned as Eddie’s personal nurse. His coworkers say it’s for simplicity’s sake because he knows his medical records by heart already (he can recite the whole thing verbatim). Jason knows it’s because his coworkers hate him.
Eventually, Jason gets used to the routine. Eddie comes in every so often, fucks up his entire set schedule, and leaves, only to come back five days later. It happens so often that Jason can describe the layout of Eddie’s house without even having seen it.
“Was it the loose kitchen tile again?”
“Nope, but good guess. It was the leak in the laundry room.”
“Ah, that explains the soaking wet clothes.”
About a year into their routine, there’s a point where Jason doesn’t see Eddie in the hospital for about a month.
This is a good thing, Jason tries to reason. There’s no one to mess up his schedule, and someone who’s getting injured much less.
But deep down, he’s getting worried. He’s rushing around the hospital overworking himself and trying to keep himself busy. What if he went to a different hospital? What if one of his accidents was a bit too serious? Where is he?
When Eddie finally comes in, Jason all but drags him into the check up room. His protective streak takes over and he’s expecting the worst, but Eddie doesn’t seem injured or sick at all. In fact, he looks a bit nervous.
Jason almost slaps Eddie when he tells him he was just moving in to a new apartment without telling him!!! . No loose tiles, no uneven stairs, no stupid, clumsy injuries to be had. Even more appalling, Eddie asks Jason out on a date. After disappearing for weeks.
Of course Jason has to say yes. Someone’s gotta take care of that clumsy idiot after all.
Alternate Ending 1:
Eddie still moves apartments, but for some reason he keeps coming in with weirder and weirder injuries. Hell, one time he even comes in to the emergency room because he said his head hurt. (Of course, Jason still checks him, just in case.)
Eventually, Jason’s manager has to call it quits. Listen, she says. It’s fine if your boyfriend comes in every so often, but please tell him to stop faking injuries. He’s costing us so much money. Please.
And Jason’s like what??? He’s been faking it this whole time???? He pointedly doesn’t say anything about the “boyfriend” thing.
Shenanigans ensue and yes, Eddie is 100% making shit up so he can see this nurse who he thinks is cute. Eventually they get together and it’s adorable and Eddie still comes in and wastes company time like the little bastard man he is.
Alternate Ending 2:
Eddie comes in one day with another injury, but there’s a different nurse assigned to him. He asks what happened to Jason, and turns out there’s been a pretty bad flu outbreak in the hospital. Jason’s been infected and put on leave for a while until he gets better.
The hospital workers know that Jason’s probably sulking in his apartment and not taking care of himself, so they ask Eddie if he’d like to go and check up on him.
So now it’s Eddie’s turn to take care of Jason. He brings him chicken soup and lots of blankets and plenty of cheesy slasher movies for them to watch together and it’s all very cute.

Eddie, in trying to be smooth as hell, incidentally being a total klutz-idiot and making an absolute fool of himself in his attempts to impress Jason. He fails so much.
Chrissy: This is your man, Jason.
Jason: *grumbles*
Chrissy: This is the one you chose, Jason.
Jason: *grinds teeth*
Eddie: *in his attempts to tie a cherry stem with his tongue, chokes and is being heimliched by a freshman* Choke. Wheeze. Gasp!
Jason: …I hate that I love that man.
Chrissy: *giggle/snorts at the ridiculousness*
Ajkslkfkf trueeee. We all saw how he was with chrissy. Like that man was straight up tripping over his own feet. Absolute himbo. They are himbos together.

eddie lounging around at home in just a pair of boxers and jason's letterman. it's comfy and smells like jason. cue interrogation from anyone who comes over and catches him like that.
And Jason keeps asking for it back because his teammates are getting suspicious that he hasn't worn it in like 2 weeks. Eddie keeps finding excuses to not give it back and Jason just kind of lets him

i just got here so ignore me if this is a repeat idea but have we considered the possibilities of eddie wearing jason's letterman after those pics of joseph for that magazine
Surprisingly, I have not!!!
So I assume you mean these pics
Tumblr media Tumblr media
(Side note: he is. so pretty)
Consider, if u will, this photoshop I just did in like 6 minutes
Tumblr media
And the answer is uHM YES. LOOK AT HIM.
I’m imagining something along these lines;
Jason and Eddie hook up one night (hatesex, enemies with benefits, secret relationship, doesn’t really matter which)
They’re running super late for school afterwards and just throw on whatever clothes they can find without really seeing what they’re putting on. Since they both wear jackets, they just kinda guess whose is whose in the dark
As you might guess, Eddie takes Jason’s letterman and Jason takes Eddie’s vest and leather jacket. They walk into school separately and with staggered times like they usually do so no one gets suspicious, and they go to their respective groups and everyone is staring at them.
When Jason walks up to his team, they’re like “what the hell are you wearing?” Same with Eddie. Then they realize. Oh shit.
I can see in my mind a funny scene where Eddie’s like “yeah, I just wanted to get into some school spirit and get myself a jacket yknow?”
“Eddie that literally has Carver’s name plastered all on the front and the back.”
“…school spirit.”
I think that Jason would immediately take off Eddie’s jacket, but Eddie would leave the letterman on for shits and giggles. I’d also like to imagine that Jason gets really flustered whenever he sees Eddie with his jacket, because I think it’s cute. And Eddie knows this, so he flaunts it.
Because I’m mainly on the side of secret relationship, my continuation would go something along the lines of Jason tryin desperately to pretend nothing happened and making a ton of excuses while Eddie’s just going around like “yea. we fuckin” and Jason trying his goddamn best to do damage control.
No one believes him. Duh.
