I wasn't sure who to draw for this but I did the girls because I feel like they already have pretty alt styles (if I had to label them I'd say Marceline's 80s punk, Bonnie's something like light academia/pastel goth, Phoebe is egirl and like lowkey goth, and HW is if scene emo met goblincore)

Also Finn doesn't seem like he had an emo phase but Phoebe definitely did and tried to rope him in with her

I think she holds the sleeves of Unsuur and "Builder" anytime they walk around. Captain, Unsuur, and Opal all share a birthday. Arvio x "Builder" Oh my sweet bb Marigold who probably has a million siblings. She loves her Papa and Mama, but the fact she has her Mama's eyes scares her a lil. THEY GLOW IN THE DARK?? It's scary like the monsters under her bed! But Mama hums her songs all the time so its okay. She is real close with Aunty Amirah. Ernest x "Builder" A GRUMPY GOOSE!!! Ernest is so over the top and in love with Quillian's Mom and it drives him NUTS?? STOP Kissing mom in the kitchen every MORNING EUGH GROSS. Also stop stealing her attention blarg. Anyway he does love his Dad but GOSH annoying. He wants more siblings please, he cannot stand to be the soul witness to his Dad's affection towards Mom.

Hiiii Penliker Nation. I've been rotating an AU in my mind where Pen was genuinely brainwashed/test-tube baby fed propaganda by Duvos and had it broken by being treated with genuine kindness and love by my Builder; Ray. Instead of uh. What we got.

But there's no denying he still did what he did, regrets or no. So he exiles himself from Sandrock, and Ray goes with him. Much as she loves Sandrock herself; she does love Pen, and wants to find a place same from Duvos where they can be together peacefully. So they're a lil two person wandering caravan in the desert, stopping where they can and letting Ray get some Builder work for funds, hiding or taking out Duvos patrols along the way, fighting monsters, etc etc.

I don't really go here (don't have a computer or console to play the game on), but I got curious about this man after seeing him on my dash, and now I can't stop thinking about him. So here's some art I've made of him in-between scrambling to find gameplay videos featuring him and reading everything I can find about him online. (Feat what I imagine my builder would look like if I had the game. Her name is Frida and she's so far only wearing the basic clothes, bcs I'm not sure if I can properly figure out how she would dress unless I played the game. Also, I projected a little of my own trepidations with marriage on her, mostly because I imagine that even with Pen not wanting to be married it might hurt his ego a little for someone to be so happy that marriage with him isn’t on the table.) The text in the first panel in the comic is taken directly from the wiki, (apparently it’s his response when accepting a romantic confession?), but I apologise if he’s ooc in the rest of the comic, I'm still getting a feel for him.

The third panel shows Frida walking away from pen with a pep in her step, a big happy smile on her face alongside a blush. “Terrified of marriage” is written above her head, with an arrow pointing to her. Pen is still standing in the same pose as before, but with a baffled expression on his face, and question marks around his head.

The fourth panel focuses in on Pens face, as he lowers his hand, appearing now to be both confused and slightly miffed, question marks still around his head.

The final panel show Pen spanning into another confident pose, looking to the side with his fingers grazing his forehead, sparkles around his head. He smiles, and says “Ha! Poor Skinny! So upset, but trying to have good humor about it! I can see through it easily! But good play, good play.” He’s sweating slightly.

And then there’s Gale. A human mage. Probably order of Hermes. Avatar looks suspiciously like Mystra.

And Raphael is there. Still a demon.

Her new life was one filled with expectations- chief amongst them being that she forgot her roots and change who she was to better fit in amongst her peers. But Rosalie never gave into the pressure to be someone she wasn’t and eventually returned to her childhood home as a Builder. She has an intense temper and stubborn disposition, but her devotion to Sandrock and its inhabitants has never wavered. She is ready to take on whatever challenges the desert may bring.
