An extreme warning for everyone in the Creepypasta community, especially the Creeps Comic sub-community

This is a post 6 years too late, but I've finally gained the courage to speak up. Trigger Warning for: Pedophillia, child grooming, suicide and beastiality There are two manipulative pedophiles in the creepypasta community that go by the name Kori [Konpeito-Starfox on tumblr, korgifemboi on discord] and Michael [kitsuneaniki on discord] who have: Dated a minor, have been sexual in the presence of minors, exposed minors to hardcore pornography and have drawn pornography FOR minors. When I was 15 back in 2018, I was invited to a creepypasta discord after I was found because of my Old LJ ask blog. I remember Kori and Michael [Trixi at the time] were 21 and 24-25 and were 'tame' at first, but they slowly became more and more sexual as months went by. A few raunchy jokes turned into full on porn posting. They talked about sexual situations with Creeps characters with two 16 year olds and a 17 year old. I felt uncomfortable with it, but I couldn't get why. This next part may be worded poorly, as it's extremely emotionally hard on me to bring up the memories, but I'll try my best and will be the most coherent I can make it. As a dumbass 15 year old, I didn't get the difference between being gay and being sexual due to the homophobic town and family I've grown up around I had never been told otherwise, so I thought it was fine, that lgbt people in their 20's being highly sexual around and directly to lgbt teenagers was fine! Everyone was happy! And me bringing up the uncomfortableness was just me brining everyone down! But then Kori and Michael made porn for a 16 year old's oc having sex with their sonas. And something in me finally shouted "Something is wrong." I didn't know how to word it, but I approached my family [good!] and said "My friends are being a little too gay, what should I say?" [bad!!!] and so I was told "tell them to stop that." And so, in I said "can you stop being gay?" in an attempt to say "hey stop being sexual" [I know, I know, point and laugh at 15 year old me for being confused] and obviously got kicked out for that. There was shit said by them that made me want to commit suicide [thought I must stress they never directly told me to kms] And then got death and rape threats that MIGHT have been from them on my old LJ ask blog after that, but that's a side note. In the same year, the 16 year old who was given porn of their oc, [who I will refer to as Victim 1 and censored in black] started dating Kori and Michael. Note: Victim's 1's birthday is in October and this screenshot is from September

It is of note that Kori and Michael are extremely manipulative and hav convinced Victim 1, that it's better to lie to me and tried to say they were 17 when they started dating, despite me knowing their age and not correcting another [I will refer to as Victim 2 and censored in red] mentioned it in a conversation. There are two other victims who I will also censor the names of.

Below is a continuation of this conversation to show that Kori and Michael have convinced Victim 1 that them showing porn to minors is okay.

I also showed Victim 1 that what Kori and Michael did is VERY ILLEGAL, let alone immoral, but was brushed off. Granted, I should have showed him more but I was rushing to the hospital because of my heart issues and was not thinking straight due to the stress.

Michael has also been proven to quite literally speak for Victim 1 as well. [The sibling comment was because they thought Victim 2's [trans] sister was Victim 2 referring to me]

This is the end of the post, and I hope this is enough to show how much of a threat Kori and Michael are to minors, but I physically cannot show the mountain pile of trauma without putting myself in a medical emergency. There is far more receipts of Kori and Michael's emotional manipulation, but again, if this post went on for too much longer I could end up in the hospital because of them and I don't want it to be a fourth time. If you or someone you know are friends with Kori and Michael, please distance yourself from these pedophiles and show your friend this post. If I could, I would personally report them to the police, however they are in America and I am in Australia with no knowledge of how to report across-seas. If you can, please report them to the proper authorities, although I do not know if they can get into legal trouble for what they did to us years ago, it will stop any on-going child grooming. Please note, I will not be mentioning this or replying to anyone specifically IN MY INBOX until AFTER I recover from making this post. Do not send me anon messages if you're going to tell me something private, instead, message me. If you have a public issue with this post, say it with your chest and off anon. Before this hell is through, I have three more screenshots to share. One of Victim 2 being shown drawn Beastiality while they were still a minor [I have been informed Victim 2 was still 16], one of Kori [with a pfp of LJ having sex with Will in a server full of minors] mocking me while I was still 16 and against them being sexual [and mocking me for my LJ design and having a non-sexual lizard hyperfix], and a miscellaneous message of Michael admitting he likes dog genitalia and mocking me for not liking porn but being fine with gore. WHILE I WAS STILL A MINOR. I will put them under the cut as two of them are censored but still visual images of nsfw. Things go wrong and people get hurt leaving him and the survivors of his family running throughout multiverse as wanted fugitives.

Family relationships:

Rick: There were ups and downs, bad nights because of alcohol and drugs, and some fucked up things here and there but Rick always put Marty first and has "died" numerous times for his sake. They didn't always see eye to eye on things but his love for Marty was never in doubt. Believes there's no one that can replace his Grandpa Rick.

Summer: A bitch of a sister but one hell of a partner. Marty and Summer were often tasked with taking care of one another on adventures as well as tag teaming. They fought on and off and generally kept a distance at school, Summer did her best to raise Marty despite the circumstances.

Jerry: He and Marty are talking and seeing one another occasionally. He got a divorce with Beth and has been living on his own sense. Stays in that shitty apartment taking odd jobs here and there while trying to make time for his kids. He still has some feelings for Beth but doesn't do anything about it since Beth seems to have moved on. He hopes that he can be a better father to his kids, and maybe even a friend to Beth.

Beth: Divorced Jerry awhile back and went to work taking care of the kids herself, Beth has been doing the best she can do. Jerry can't usually pay the child support so she's stuck working full time at the horse hospital. Tired, hurt, starting to get a drinking habit, and in fear of losing her kids love, she spends as much time with them as she can and leaves Rick to care for them when she can't. She's still processing the divorce and trying to figure out what she wants amidst the war.

Space Beth: A Beth that has been with the Resistance for years before meeting Marty, she ends up on the Smith families doorstep while laying low. despite being there for a short time, she quickly takes a liking to Beth and her family. She is the reason that they end up being pulled into the Feds line of sight in the first place. She's spent most of her life fighting and she continues you to with the addition of the Smiths.

Uncle BirdPerson/BP: Another Resistance member and one of the first to join in the efforts, Marty met BP through Space Beth. They started out on uneasy terms since they just crashed on some strangers couch for awhile to hide from the FEDs. Come to find out, he knew Marty's grandfather and was friends with him when they were younger. Deciding he's trustworthy, he adopts BP as an Uncle figure and frequents his house. BP ends up telling Marty everything he went through with his grandfather and grows close to him.

Flamepaw [Silvia Flowers] (he/him)

Flamepaw is a warrior cats OC, a Thunderclan cat who got abused by his mentor and died to a badger. As a Starclan cat he was revived (by Starclan) to protect this new apprentice who was going to be abused by the same mentor, her name was Bramblepaw (who I actually made earlier, but she has an okay-ish story in another time its sorta mundane). They fell in love and after some moons when theyre made warriors, they have a kit named Faithkit, which, for some reason, Starclan didn't like, because Starclan *loves* making arbitrary rules about romance, and he's banished, but not before his (dead) mom gives him and his family these crystals that let them turn into my "original species" called Drattus (theyre just dragon cats. theyre cats with dragon wings.)

And that is the end of this goobers story, he goes on to leave the clans and find a Drattus colony somewhere idk, he was my sona for awhile! He's goofy but I love him, and I hold him very near and dear to my heart. I have faith he can murder all the mary/gary sues in his path with his dragon cat abilities >:)

Lasha Felomi [Luna Wolf] (she/her)

She was just a normal girl but then her parents got murdered. Shen then gets adopted by the god of darkness and got turned into an immortal demigod with dark powers. She has a sword made out of her own frozen blood (never drew that though). She was forced to kill her best friend to take out the villain, but years later she finds out the villain actually survived. She tries to finish the job but gets killed herself instead. That's how her story originally would have gone. Also, Kirby and Hulk and Bubbles were there.

Growing up unable to stop all the tragedy around her, she has developed a deep need to be in power at all times and insists on being capable to do anything on her own and refuses to receive help or cooperate with others. She needs to be the most powerful person in the room but she is maybe upper B tier in the grand scheme of things.

I'm using her original name here, I wonder if anyone can spot where I got it from. It's pretty stupid and has nothing to do with her character.

HE’S FINALLY DONE!

Process and Character Backstory below

So… guess who’s been obsessed with Across the Spiderverse since it came out?

I literally watched it the first day it came out and I want to watch it again (damn my location not being near a cinema!). So I thought of making a Spidersona but the thing is I’m not an interesting person and I find it cringy to make ’sonas for myself so I decided ‘why not make Sebastian Spider-Man!’

I have a whole backstory and everything and if you have looked at my backlog of art for my other Zodiac OCs you already know who’s playing who but I’ll give a synopsis.

‘Sebastian is the son of one of the most revolutionary scientists of recent years, Dr Selene Silverman. One day a few of her company’s secret experiments escape, one a radioactive spider. When Sebastian, now bitten by said spider, finds out about his superhuman abilities he decides to make his childhood dream come true by becoming the superhero, Light Crawler (though everyone calls him Spider-Man to his annoyance).

Things don’t go well as one his first day, his best friend, Finn, is killed due to his recklessness. When Finn’s brother, Gray, puts two-and-two together he decides to team up with Sebastian to make sure nothing like that will ever happen again.

But that won’t stop criminals and other humanoid experiments from trying to stop Sebastian in any way they can for their own personal reasons.’

I’ve been trying to write more of this AU but I’m awful at planning and writing first chapters so I don’t know if I’ll even get far but I definitely want to make more character designs for this. I’ve got so many ideas!

I had so much trouble with the colour scheme, I knew I wanted to go for a purple spider (since I always colour Sebastian wearing purple) and chose the purple-and-gold-jumping-spider because I thought it’d fit with him (the colour scheme and also the size thing since Sebastian is meant to be shorter then the average teenage boy) but every time I coloured the suit I ended up hating it! I tried having the gold as just the webbing and have the webbing on the purple part of the suit, hated it, changed it to the gloves and pants, hated it, have more black on the design, still hated it. I felt so bad for my friends and family who had to deal with me in this state of me spamming different versions of this piece but I think I’ve gotten a colour scheme I like.

What do you think? PLEASE TELL ME I’M STILL NOT FULLY SATISFIED!

OKAY SO LENA

This is mostly gonna be an aimless ramble about Ideas I Have because I’m fulla those dang things most days, and hey y’all seem to like when I ramble about my OCs so I’m gonna Do That More

so y’know. If you wanna learn what my whole idea for yon’ silley foxtaur is, read on

THIS FREAKIN NERD started life as an ooooold OC- the grey, wolfy version is the classic Lena from back in the day (courtesy of absolutely wonderful character design by one of my best friends, this was before I was doing art again) and she was an OC who was always near and dear to my heart. At the time I didn’t put two and two together and go “oh b/c she’s my fursona and aspirational as hell, you closeted trans fool” but hey, I got there

anywho.

I realize that, y’know, ‘sonas don’t need to have lore or be characters, but I like making characters! So Lena does, in fact, have lore. She was, at one point, a regular ol’ person, a human being who pretty much existed on gig work and odd jobs because even in my fantasies, the real world is a gig economy nightmare. The work paid the bills, but it didn’t do much else- one of the most common jobs was delivery, think like, somehow a crappier version of being an amazon courier or somesuch.

Well, on one such delivery job, our gal ended up getting lost- like painfully lost. Instead of her destination, she ended up in literally the feywild, a fact that, despite the very obviously ancient buildings and overgrown mess, she was wholly unaware of. Upon “delivering” the package to the closest thing to an intact structure, she was enticed by fresh food just kinda… left out, we’re talking like a plate of pastries or something, something you could reasonably assume was a “take one” sorta affair.

It wasn’t… that, but bless her, Lena didn’t know that. So she took one… and then another, and another, and another. It’s the classic “oh whups you’re eating the fey’s food, bad idea”, but once she proverbially popped, she couldn’t stop. Which, of course, cursed her all to hell and back- it’s kinda what happens. She was changed top to bottom, and yes, I do mean in the transes-your-gender way but also the bottom became y’know, a fox. And the top was a fox but humanoid- it’s yon form you see above.

It also kinda… made her forget everything about herself. Her name, her age, where she was born- she knew she was human, short term memory was intact, but the rest slipped away… because it didn’t belong to her anymore. Classic fey stuff, eh? Turn you into something, take something intangible because you broke “the rules”.

Well, the new owner of those little details- and by extension, our gal’s fate, was a powerful fey being who was, turns out, the Lord of Debts and Desires, and one of the stinkiest Capital F Fey you could imagine. We’re talking constantly smug, always speaking in half-truths and pregnant pauses, a real piece of work straight outta a fairytale (which, y’know, tracks, considering)

And while this fella was nonplussed about an offering to him- and all the magic with it- being hoovered up by a delivery driver, he had a new lackey out of the deal. And that, friends, is what Lena is- a lackey.

She’s technically a cursed human, but her name is one she picked (it sounded nice, almost like a meta thing I guess) and her history is a bit of a blur past the basic facts. The fey she works for pretty much bound her to a contract: work for him until he considers the debt settled, and she’ll be right back to the old self lickety split.

I’ll let you guess as to how long that is, or whether yon fey actually thinks she’ll want to go back. Because truth be told, part of Lena… doesn’t want to. A big part.

She didn’t expect to be this way, but she’s come to embrace and even… like it more than the old her. It’s confusing, sometimes frustrating, but it feels more like her than she’s ever felt.

…wonder what THAT is a metaphor for? 🏳️‍⚧️

Anywho, there’s another big wrinkle- and that is that Lena isn’t fully a fey being… yet. I say she’s technically human because there’s that little bit of her that feels like she needs to hold onto the old idea of herself- not desperation, just… momentum, I guess. But as her fingers slip from that, she becomes more and more fey and less and less human… well

I wonder what the outcome will be?

Oh good question, but a couple of weird answers incoming-

So.. technically speaking, no he doesn't. Because I keep flopping around between at least three and none of them are canon, since I'm not really satisfied with either one of them.

However, I don't really think I consider them to be very important at the moment. Because I have a VERY brief outline of his story and you could easily not even think about the backstory because it doesn't really serve a purpose, and honestly I think I'd be fine with it just the way it is and keeping it that way until I find a compelling story to tell with the backstory being a major player.

Narratively speaking, yes. but I've made up the absolutely brilliant excuse of giving him amnesia and I made two memes about it not too long ago but I never posted them because I had no idea when they would become relevant so nows the time I guess:

All that out of the way though, The reason why I decided to not properly give him one is that I kind of grown to not really enjoy making characters having a huge chunk of their story being pushed to the wayside as "the backstory" because I think it wastes a lot of narrative potential and is only used as a backdrop to explain why a character is the way that they are in the story they were supposed to be a part of. It kind of makes it feel like the character had their own movie and the main story they're actually a part of is a crossover sequel with other characters with their own separate movies. So I'd much rather focus on what happens and becomes of them in the present. Which brings me to my next weird answer:

Their main story is the backstory???

It really isn't, but with the state of its current presentation, it might as well be (BUT IT ISN'T) let me explain- The timeline where most of the art I depict him in is scattered all around. In one artwork he's with the Krang, and in the next, he's with Leonardo, and after that, he's in a white void breaking the fourth wall.

But there is actually a timeline between them, it's just unclear and the art is their own stand-alone thing, but they are a part of the bigger picture, just very small "can be broken off and nothing would change because it's just a little twig that grew from canon but is not a part of said canon" branches

But I can say that the Leo art where they're just hanging out and being buddies with no bad blood between them is what becomes of Mix once his arc has concluded. Take it as sort of tidbits of an epilogue.

Though for full transparency here, Mikyomix isn't really a rise oc. He was just my sona that I inserted into canon because I bullied Leo on my TikTok story once, which led to me drawing them interacting for the first time. I didn't really give it much thought then, but now I can confirm that he does exist in the rise universe somehow despite breaking its usual conventions. He's a strange dude, and everyone takes note of it. What also adds to his peculiarity is that most of his lore started off as a joke, but it all ended up tying together and accidentally made sense. the pieces were there, it only took me a few months to realize that they weren't just ornamental, and I started piecing it all together. Just know that most of the jokey lore and character details I've made about him now serve a purpose.

But.. as much as I talk about it, I'm kind of torn between just keeping it my own thing and making the story I want to tell. It's super cheesy and lame and it's technically a self-insert, but at this point, there will be a time when the self-insert stops being a self-insert, where they get so far into the world and the events that happen to them within it that they start taking up their own form. It's not really you anymore, they're their own character. It becomes less about what you would do if you were in the same situation and more about how the character would react given their personal experiences.

That was a very weird tangent but it sounded too good to edit to fit everything else in so I'm keeping it. Anyways not only that, but also the fact that I'm a VERY amateur writer, and god knows how badly I could ruin the execution. I doubt that I'll ever write it in full, but I might occasionally post about it just because I can.

I had no idea where to put this in but I had to mention it for anyone more curious than they already are.

Mikyomix is a very simple character, but they still have depth. he's not complicated enough to have a very deep and complex narrative with hidden subtext that is worth a character analysis. But they're enough to serve a story dedicated to them.

ROTTMNT Self Insert BS

So, ROTTMNT may have taken over my brain. The new concepts/characters/world of this epic new(er) tmnt series got my inspiration juices flowing, and I created my very own mutant turtle abomination self-insert/sona character.

CHARACTER LORE UNDER CUT

So, Rowan wasn’t always a turtle like the original four tmnt brothers (Leo,Raph, Mikey and Donnie), Rowan was originally human, and was like that for most of their life. Unfortunately for them, while walking home from high school one day, they happened to be in a bad place at a bad time.

Baron Draxum had been developing a formula of ooze containing the DNA of all four turtle brothers. His goal was to create a hybrid turtle mutant which would be a bigger, stronger combination of the four, selectively taking the best attributes of each brother’s mutation, and combining them into one mega mutant turtle soldier. With this new mutant on his side, he could finally get rid of his previous turtle mutants, and use this new super-mutant to aide him in any of his evil plans.

Draxum had not yet tested this formula however, and was unsure if it would be successful or not. In addition, the ooze lacked an important component: human DNA. Draxum would need to mutate a human to create his super-turtle-mutant, and would also need a human as his first test subject.

Enter Rowan (again). Draxum had just left the hidden city in search of a viable test subject when Rowan walks by, a little over a hundred feet away. They are completely oblivious to their surroundings as they pump loud music into their ears, and they look like the perfect test subject for Draxum’s new ooze.

Draxum easily sneaks up behind Rowan (still obliviously listening to music), throws a bag over their head, and knocks them unconscious.

Rowan wakes up tied to a table by vines. Scared, they try to reason with Draxum, but to no avail. He releases an ‘oozesquito’ containing the new serum, and it lands on Rowan’s nose.

It bites, transforming them.

Terrified, Rowan looks at their new appearance with fright, but Draxum is disappointed. A perfect hybrid of the four turtles, yes. However, Rowan remains small and scrawny. A partial success for Draxum, but the serum requires work.

Too small and weak to do Draxum any good, his test subject is disposed of. Rowan is promptly teleported back to the surface in one of Manhattan’s back alleys, and left.

Long story short: Rowan is transformed into a hybrid turtle mutant using all four of the tmnt’s DNA. After deemed useless by Draxum, they are dumped in an NYC back alley. The End.

I hope to make additional content bout this story soon. How will they survive as a mutant amongst humans? Will they eventually meet the turtle brothers whom they now share DNA with?

So, I watched the RED Movie yesterday. I have very mixed feelings. I'll explain everything under cut since I want to talk about scenes & plot & involved characters.

So far, a short non-spoiler review:

-> if you're not 100% sure you DON'T want to see the movie, don't hesitate and get yourself a ticket, this is one of those made to be enjoyed in cinema, the experience won't be the same at home

-> if you want to see this only to see your blorbo in action...you most likely will be disappointed, unless your blorbo is Koby, Barto or Usopp

-> if Uta's design & everything told about her in promo materials didn't convince you to like her...you most likely will be disappointed too

-> ...actually, you will have much more fun, if you stop treating it as a movie and start to think about it as high budget music video with Ado's pirate-sona. a big animated fanfic with a quirky OC

-> if you can wait, do yourself a favor and watch it AFTER you read this week's chapter, you will thank me 🤭

And now to the juicy meat.

I went to cinema knowing well this is NOT a movie for me. I'm a manga-only fan, I know anime only in bits and RED is my first OP movie ever. The info revealed in campaign didn't make me enthusiastic, especially given how much they push Uta on the pedestal. Frankly, if not for sis who really wanted to see it, I'd not move my ass to cinema.

But I did. And much to my surprise, I did enjoy it lol Wouldn't call it a good movie (maybe it is for OP standards, no idea), but wouldn't call it a waste of time either. Just a fun thing to watch together with a bunch of nerds, so you can make weird noises when your faves show up.

Uta for me was the weakest point of the movie. Not because I find her a bad-written character (I actually like what they made with her but that's later), but because she has like, 0 chemistry with characters on screen. Her relationship with Shanks and Luffy are limited to very short flashbacks and a few scenes with Shanks at the very end. Luffy and Uta interact with each other but I just...didn't get a feeling they're old friends reuniting after years. I mean, compare it to how Luffy reacted to Ace in Alabasta. Everytime Luffy and Uta met, it felt like a staged scene, and given that a majority of movie is played in alter-reality, controlled by Uta's mind, it gives one whole additional layer of that weird, fake feeling.

Following with the weak points: there's a whole lot of characters who do NOTHING. If we cut all the fight scenes but the finale, a good part of the cast has nothing to do. They just...are. Because they're Strawhats/popular characters. But even with those fight scenes... Zoro, one of the most important characters in the serie, got more or less the same screen time as a fucking chibified fursona of a ship. Even Shanks and Luffy, 2 of 3 main pillars of the movie, don't do that much. Really.

Honestly, fight scenes but the last one disappointed me. I'm a simple One Piece simp: I want to see my blorbos flexing muscles in crazy fights. I know this is not the essence of plot, but it's the flavor. One Piece wouldn't be One Piece if it wasn't boiled in broth made of bloody, sweaty tits, goddammit. In RED majority of fight scenes are edited like AMVs. With insane graphic quality, but with the same chaos and level of cuts and edits. Plus Uta being Uta through majority of screen time. Which is...UGH. The way she fights is really interesting! Whenever she does it, the jaw just drops! I wanna see her fighting with that power! Not look at heavily edited idol performance!

Luckily, at some point movie finally chills down and lets the plot breathe. And once it stops being an AMV on speed, it becomes quite interesting. Especially with the way it flashes out those few characters who got something to do. BIG kudos for choosing less obvious ones for pushing the plot motor: Bartolomeo, Koby, Blueno, Usopp (feat. his daddy issues). Koby was the absolute MVP. Holy fuck. I hope this is just a foretaste of what we're going to see in manga.

Fan theories connoisseurs will be over the moon with the number of symbols and wink winks. Not gonna lie, I focused on lyrics on purpose, to avoid sensory overload from those shaking AMVs and was surpirsed how much info is hidden in them. Like one, big teaser for the upcoming events.

I wonder how many connections will be revealed later. The robots from library? Hell, guess what just happened in chapter 1065 👀 They weren't lying that events aren't canon - but lore definitely is.

The animation & music combo is INSANE. Especially when they let Ado sing instead of pushing her to perform as a candy idol girl (the opening song made my skin crawl jesus christ that was horrible). Gods, the more crazy Uta gets, the better songs get and when the music goes low ohhhhh yes, that's the good shit.

NO FANSERVICE. IN ONE PIECE MOVIE? MORE LIKELY THAN YOU THOUGHT! Except for one very toned panties joke and one not-moving panel from the credits there's literally no fanservice. Null. Zero. Nada. And they let female characters fight to their fullest! Nami, Robin and Brulee do in comparison as much as other background characters.

The final is. IS. I swear, it's one of the best directed fights I've seen in One Piece EVER and hello, forget about the non-anime thig, I watched the famous Katakuri vs Snakeman and the Rooftop. The combo of powerful music, smooth animation, characters cooperating in perfectly-balanced yet unexpected teams, the multi layered attack lead by Usopp and Yasopp, Snakeman-Nika fusion & Shanks finish, fuck, I swear, I was shaking.

I hope this is how final fight in OP will look like. A whole team of our faves from various fractions against Im maybe? 👀

Loved how balanced the humor was. Characteristic for One Piece yet, tamed. Nothing too perverted, nothing too gross, everything chaotic as fuck. Love you, Bepo.

But my favorite part is probably the way they handled the conflict and the case of who's a villain. Don't wanna say too much cause imho this is something everyone should interpret according to their own judgement, but liked how they placed the core in the moral dilemma between bringing relief and utopia for the cost of freedom and remaining free but having to face the reality (oh, someone was inspired by The Matrix). Should I run into lie to comfort myself? Is it a wise idea to try and shield someone from consequences of their actions, even if they were not fully conscious? Does one have a right to decide what's good for others?

If not for the BULLSHIT finish, I'd say the second part saved the movie in my eyes. Sadly, it added to a bad aftertaste. Well, at least I have the OST. And soon-to-come shirtless snake gifs.

Overall, not a tragedy, thing more enjoyable than irritating even if you are easily distracted by things you don't like (like me lol), worth spending money and time even if for just watching an AMV on big screen.

And the obligatory traditional number scale: 4/10 as a stand alone movie, 6/10 as a meat for OP fan, 10/10 of Law's hairy leggies my beloved.

ehmm i don’t really do self-inserts or sonas, it’s kind of a complicated personal thing (and the reason my only ‘sona’ is a dumpy ugly bunny creature) but i guess the oc i relate to most is luka? i definitely project a lot of my own problems and insecurities onto him, but we’re not alike in personality or appearance lolol. i guess i could also say rookie (more of a twitter/patreon oc) but in the way that i make him the kind of person i’d like to be. i’ve tried self-inserts in the past but it’s not something that really resonates with me, especially with g/t stuff. i generally prefer to be an onlooker than imagine myself in situations like that.

i’ve been into g/t my whole life but was too shy to explore it and lurked for a long time. i only stopped caring because i was in a really bad depressive episode and was truly out of fucks to give, which probably isn’t a great answer, but that’s how it happened lolol. moral of the story: ignore your inhibitions long enough to just do it and let the momentum carry you from there

you’re probably asking the wrong person for writing tips tho, i don’t consider myself to be very good at it. i roleplayed a bit as a teenager and would occasionally write fics (i never shared them anywhere) and that’s the extent of my experience lolol. publishing anything creative is going to make you feel vulnerable, especially if you’re not used to it; it’s a very personal outlet of self expression, even if you’re not writing about your life story, it’s still a part of you and it’s scary to submit that to the sea of anonymous viewers. but the key a lot of creatives need to be reminded of is that you shouldn’t be writing/creating to please anyone else, you should be writing for yourself. make something you’d be a fan of. self-indulgence is a phenomenal feeling, cringe is subjective and fake. if posting it online is too daunting, then don’t post it. but if you feel that itch for others to know your story, then go for it. you might end up with this same ask in your inbox after an (almost) year of your account being active. you won’t know unless you try ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

took a break from tumblr for a bit (not by choice but shhh) and genuinely feeling better having had time to think things through.

that being said, today I would like to tell you about the bat empire because I love it and I don’t think I’ll ever have a better chance

the bat empire is an idea I worked on for fun that I didn’t really think I’d ever get a chance to share because I won’t end up doing anything much with it. But I did build it and I love it.

One of the most interesting yet overlooked mobs in minecraft is the bat. Bats are so cool, irl and in minecraft. Minecraft bats aren’t talked about very much because they don’t have a real function. You can’t do anything with them in the game- there’s no real reason to interact with them. And that’s cool, actually. I really love them and I like that there’s a mob that’s there just to add life to the world.

So anyways, bats are super fun because echolocation. I don’t remember how I got to the idea of a bat hybrid but I adore them. I think hybrids with more different features aren’t talked about enough. Like, give me snake hybrids that can smell with their tongue! Butterfly hybrids that taste with their fingers (quite annoying, I’d imagine. How would they get around that?). So bats with really bad eyesight! And really good hearing. A bat hybrid would be great to take to fight the warden because the lack of sight isn’t quite as much of a disadvantage.

Technically bat hybrids should also have wings like wyverns, where their arms and wings are fused. But from a character design standpoint I wanted Luna (name of my bat hybrid oc/sona) to be more humanoid. So unrealistic demon-y wings it was (and because there was no way I could design an inhuman character like that in picrew, tbh).

I gave bat hybrids large, fluffy ears on the side of their head because they’re bat ears. Bats are really fluffy actually and they have big ears to hear very well. And big fluffy ears are cute too so that’s a bonus.

and as for empire design- sculk! Bats don’t set off the sculk shriekers, to my knowledge? I haven’t played the update and explored a deep dark but I think from what I’ve seen only players can summon the Warden?

anyways, this lead to the idea that the bats and the sculk get along! So the bats living in a sort of deep-dark style city, carved out of stone, in harmony with the sculk. And so this came to be!

The sea lanterns are just a cool way of adding light to the area because lighting that cave is HARD. Glow lichen too (it adds to the ancient aesthetic too though)! Sculk-infested deep dark towers for the bats.

and you see the lanterns! They’re sea lanterns with sculk to try to give a more soul-lantern vibe. I love the idea that the deep dark would have a link to the soulfire/soul lanterns/warped blocks because the wardens colors match! And souls just feels like a theme they have in common. And in that pic you can see the mineshaft entrance thingy and the scaffolding/platform design. I feel like dark woods/tones match the deep dark aesthetic really well. And I was gonna have buildings all along that wall but I didn’t get to that. I kinda based them on the sorta mismatched vibe Grian’s s8 Hermitcraft base had:

And then to finish off the city part, the entrance! The mouth of the cave I sort of tried to make as if the deepslate was holding up the ceiling of the cave, and get that Vibe while not making it as infested! Also a fun experiment to design the pillars.

(yes those are custom trees :D) Dark woods, deepslate, and warped wood for the roof! Segmented design adds interest, I think.

for my oc Luna, the idea was that she’s a scientist/she lives on her own. So I designed a little area in a side cave for her. She’d be a potions brewer sort of character!

Storage/workroom for Luna! Featuring shelf designs & warped nylium/sculk flooring which I actually really love btw?

Textured up a tunnel with a lil balcony at the end!

And a tunnel/walkway! Featuring little warped plant gardens on either side & various decorations.

Hm... I would say mostly immovable, but he's not afraid of breaking them if needed.

30. Who do they most regret meeting?

He hasn't meet that many people in his life due to him keeping himself isolated. However, he still wishes he never met the assassin who robbed him of his family.

41. How do they feel about children?

He prefers avoiding them when he can, as he doesn't know how to control his temper aroud them. And also doesn't want to scare them in case his Dragon Blood flares up.

8. What were they told to stop/start doing most often as a child

She often got in trouble for trying to sneak in the reserved areas of her village's library. Can't blame her tho, she loves myths and legends and those areas were filled to the brim with books about them.

25. What are their thoughts on marriage?

She believes it's a great honor and blessing to find someone willing to live with you forever. But it must be someone she knows that she will love until the end of times, otherwise it ruins the purpose.

34. How hard is it for them to shake a sense of guilt?

Usually quite hard. She tries to always be optimist, but if she causes something bad to anyone, it will take a lot of convincing before she finally accepts it and leave it behind.

A. Why are you excited about this character?

Mostly the fact that they're ones of my oldest OCs I've kept around. And they also include elements I love in characters/stories.

B. What inspired you to create them?

Keho was originally a character based on the Golden Sun games (I was really into it in those years). Zango actually used to be my Zelda sona, and I used her as my sona before I came up with my current one. Eventually I felt the need of revamping them and render them fully original, and also include them together in the same lore. Fun fact: Zango's outfit was loosely inspired by Ragnarok Online's female High Wizard's outfit, another game I was really into back in the day.

H. What trait do you admire most?

Hm... I would say Zango's optimism, and Keho's determination and the fact that even when everything was shit for him and he didn't have a future, with just continuing going forward he eventually found something to keep fighting for and to improve himself.

You mentioned somewhere that you've got quite a few side characters in your oc world, and I wanted to ask who you're favorite(s) is/are? :)

ah! hello!

here's the things, there's a pretty large volume of background or side characters due to the Castle acting as a central hub for TAHVA (which is a pretty massive agency) so there are a lot of nameless npc agents just working there in the background all the time

same with new coma city, it's pretty populated with extras

there are some side characters that exist as individuals but a few of them i haven't even named yet 0-0

off the top of my head there's patchwork's girlfriend squad (stephanie from accounting, large dragonling lady, golden retriever dogboy, and shark mermaid underwater gf) and couple of coworkers that verne is buddies with and knows the coffee/boba orders of

there's also the rest of the council! most of the main characters in the castle crew are part of the council: rev, rupee, jay, iden, mckenzie, mixi and synth technically, petals and baron. but there are a few more characters that make up the council as well!

let's see, sal and ravenshead are two (if you've seen the guy with the minecraft salmon box head that's sal, the raven head guy is ravenshead). they don't get along well and only show up in the same room at council meetings. like most of the castle crew, when the tma crossover began they became avatars of entities.

honestly i'm having a hard time remembering if there's anyone else on the council so there prooobably isn't, at least not in terms of side characters.

there's also clarence hunter, who is lucien's father and also showed up on creaturae after the story they came from ended. he works directly for rev as a researcher and also does science-y things in his spare time. he's not involved in most of the main plot things but he does end up an avatar as well and has the job of corralling the couple of tma villains that show up in creaturae (he's pretty good at it)

speaking of lucien, the version of him from darkjay's timeline also shows up a few times! him and darkjay don't spend a lot of time at the castle anymore (for entity conflict reasons) but he's on good terms with everyone there

the version of adrian from whit's timeline also makes an appearance, he goes by hunter and he's sort of a freelance agent that works for rev on occasion? i'm not entirely sure his role in the story but him and whit have a personal arc they go through

i think that's about it for side characters? i dunno i might've missed some XDD there's a lot here tho. as for a definitive favorite, well! i’m very bad at making decisions but sal has the bonus of originally being a sona design lol

Again, it’s kinda weird seeing the style change happen over the years all in one place. Consistency? Don’t know her. All I know is that I love everyone here so very much, and I feel bad about hurting them in all the stories I imagine for them. Lily (she/her, age unknown): an old ‘sona and one of my oldest OCs, she is an ethereal being with a forgotten past, an obscured face, and the brightest personality you’ve ever seen; her job is to be an imaginary friend to children who need one, the substance coating her arms capable of manifesting shapes and stories that flow and dance through the air like color-shifting ink; she’s also friends with an undead zombie dog named Anthony (not pictured)

Tegra Burnpike (she/her, late 60s): a woman of many hats - former captain of a not-so-legitimate merchant vessel, retired circuit fighter, one of the faction leaders of the resistance movement; she is loud, jovial, determined, motherly, compassionate, just as likely to start a brawl as she is to bandage a wound; she loves company both platonic and intimate, sharing tales of her long and storied life over many a strong drink, befriending Sal, Geth, Everett, and even the standoffish Circé; she is also restless, loose on commitment, seeking horizon after horizon for adventure, thrills, anything to quell the itch of standing still in one place for too long, of letting the regrets of the past catch up to her… also, in her free time, she collects little glass-blown figurines from all the places she’s been

Sallion “Sal” Pessier (they/she/he, mid 20s): gentle, anxious, bookish, born of divine lineage that shows in their single curved horn, tail, and dark scleras; they endure a troubled childhood in a gated community of devoutly religious folk, resented and mocked by most for their appearance, including their own mother, the fanatical (and hypocritical) high priestess; in their teen years, they manage to escape on a visiting theater caravan (another ally for the resistance) with the help of their beaten-down father, though he is unable to send the rest of their siblings with thanks to the youngest ratting them out to their mother; since then, they’ve found sanctuary within the resistance movement as well as the more open-minded religious sects outside of their closed-off hometown, hoping to one day save the ones they’ve left behind; they also gain their first real friends in Tegra, Everett, Circé, and Geth - with the latter eventually blossoming into something more…

Geth Evensphere (he/him, early 30s): mute from birth and covered in port-wine stain birthmarks, he is the sweetest, gentlest farm boy you’ll ever meet - a hard worker, good with animals, perhaps a bit too accommodating for his own good sometimes, and a lover of nature and art, painting landscapes in his free time; though not directly involved with the resistance movement, he and his family do what they can to help, offering supplies and lodging when necessary; he quickly befriends boisterous Tegra and charismatic Everett, finds a quiet kinship with reluctant Circé, and falls softly in love with gentle Sal; he does not remember his childhood, only that his adoptive parents found him stumbling through the woods one night, alone and disorientated, and took him in; he also has strange recurring bouts of body pain, which seem to have no physical cause and have only gotten worse as he’s aged…

Everett Stargleam (he/him, late 20s): the most shove-able of my OCs, he is a spoiled theater kid from a rich family and even richer town, his head filled with so much hot air and dreams that it’s a wonder he hasn’t drifted away yet; similar to Sal, he has a divine lineage from his absent father’s side, though his features are conveniently more passing (odd hair color, affinity for magic); though tangentially related to the Organization (his mother being a high-rank politician trying - and failing - to use her darker connections to fix the system from within), he mostly longs for stardom, to perform on stage and gain the fame (and love) he longs for, taking minor roles in stageplays between his university studies; thanks to his skills in persuasion and deception (and a bit of nepotism), he is sent with Circé to be moles in the resistance movement, which goes smoothly until Everett, confronted with the cruel reality of those affected by the corrupt nature of the Organization’s actions, starts shifting to the enemy’s side; he also ends up in a long-winded and unbearably snarky will-they-won’t-they with one of the faction leaders, a mystical, strong-willed woman by the name of Edalisa (not pictured), who may be more than she appears…

Amberette (she/her, 8y): a little orphan girl with fiery red hair and a sharper eye than she lets on, she has the ability to teleport short distances thanks to her abnormally high capacity for magic; she and her fellow children live in relative peace in a small, government-owned orphanage in an unassuming town, but when children start going missing or coming back from “check-ups” with nearly all the life sucked out of them, she starts looking for an escape, pushing her powers in secret and listening in on conversations between orderlies, hoping to find help before it’s too late; coincidently, this is when she meets a few members of the resistance come to investigate this very town, subtly guiding them towards the truth until they manage to bring the whole operation down (though not without casualties and a few unexpected surprises); spoiler alert - she makes it out in the end and goes on to stay with Geth’s family during the rest of the resistance movement’s efforts, growing fond of both Geth and Sal especially, who fawn over her like doting parents in turn; though, even here, her journey is not over just yet…

Amity Georgette Tapia (she/her, 10y): an old Undertale AU OC and another favorite of mine, she is a tiny bundle of joy, pastels, and restless energy, asking a million questions a second and eager to jump into any new experience feet-first (something that might’ve contributed to the fact that she wears a prosthetic in place of her right arm); she loves bubbly music, being outside, and fish (oh, lord, please ask her about fish, she will babble on for days about anything fish-related); do not show her spiders, though, she will cry; she learns that her SOUL is green while in the Underground, and her magic usually manifests in the form of protective bubbles, swarms of glowing fish, or bursts of bright, blinding light - notably, all more defensive than offensive

Nerves (they/them, young): a Hollow Knight Vessel OC, they’re named for the fact that they are the most nervous little bug you’ve ever laid eyes on, always trembling or wary, their head darting this way and that, clutching their wings around them like an old blanket; they get better about their fear over time, finding wonder in the places they see and courage in the friends they make; they grow close to folks like Iselda and Cornifer (who take them in after a run-in with something bad in Deepnest), Sheo (who helps them discover a deep love for art), Quirrel (whose tales of life outside Hallownest foster their sense of curiosity and wanderlust), the Lost Kin (who was with them when they escaped the Abyss until circumstances separated them), and even Grimm (who teaches them about fear and how to walk alongside it rather than be controlled by it); they also like to wear costumes, especially hats since they can cover the broken hole in their shell…

The others mentioned (Milagrosa, Riggs, Sandy, Jade, Edmund, Tony, and any unnamed folk) are more one-off designs or from stories I haven’t fully fleshed out yet, though I wouldn’t necessarily mind expanding on them if y'all were interested in the future.
