I just want to repost all the art for Salice.

The first piece was masterfully done by @knight-engale! Salice is with Morgan, her strong and beautiful sailor gf, looking so happy and cute and it makes my heart all warm and fuzzy. They love to dance!

The other two beauties were done by @the-apricotapprentice! I think the 2nd portait is the first ever art done of Salice! And the last artwork was a Valentine's day exchange. Salice and her fiancé Julian from the Arcana!

Unbirthday Party

Rowan wishes Morgan a happy birthday... several months late.

Morgan jumped in her seat and let out a surprised squeak, startled by a pair of warm hands cupping the sides of her head, freckles fingers covering her eyes and leaving her unable to see.

"Guess who?" A lilting voice sang out from somewhere behind her head.

Morgan laughed softly, fondness melting away the tiny fright Rowan had given her in an instant. She put down the book she'd been too engrossed in to hear their footsteps approaching her, lifting her hands to cover theirs instead.

"Well, I certainly hope it's my darling husband," she grinned, gently rubbing the wedding band she knew resided on their left ring finger. "I wasn't expecting you home so soon. How was the market?"

Rowan made a non-commital noise, seemingly having no intentions of moving their hands anytime soon. "Was grand. Same as usual." There was a hint of what sounded like excitement in their voice, Morgan noted curiously. "Just didn't want to stay out too long."

"Mhm." Morgan nodded slightly, though her movements were restricted still by Rowan's hands. "Not that I don't love it when you touch me, sweetheart, but can I have my head back anytime soon?"

Rowan laughed quietly. "Fine, OK. But you have to keep your eyes closed. I have a surprise for you."

"Oh?" That piqued her curiosity. Morgan couldn't think of any reason why they'd want to surprise her. It was just a normal, fairly quiet Sunday afternoon; neither of them had any plans that she knew of, though she was going out with Ilya and Pasha later tonight. Still, she humoured them, obediently sliding her eyelids shut. "Alright, they're closed."

Rowan dropped their hands then, leaving Morgan's face feeling cold now in the absence of their warmth. She waited patiently as she heard them step away from her chair, their footsteps as they moved around the kitchen, the rustling of a bag as they approached her again... then a few seconds later, a dull, quiet thump as they dropped something on the table in front of her.

So they'd brought her home a present... the sound was too dense for it to be clothes or jewellery, but didn't quite sound heavy enough to be a book or ornament. Her guess was food. And good timing; she was hungry.

"Can I open my eyes yet?" She asked.

Though she couldn't see, Morgan swore she could almost hear Rowan shaking their head, soft brown curls bouncing slightly. "Not yet. Gimme a second."

There was a brief tearing sound, then a pause before the unmistakable snap-crackle of Rowan's magic filled the air. Morgan could make out the golden-red sparks behind the thin skin of her eyelids.

"OK," Rowan spoke up again after another pause, the smile in their voice audible. "Now you can look."

Morgan opened her eyes, gasping quietly at the sight. On the table in front of her was a small pastry box made of white paper, that had been torn open to form a makeshift plate. Inside was a gorgeous strawberry gateau; layers of delicate chiffon sponge, whipped cream and jam, covered with more cream and decorated with perfectly ripened strawberries... as well as a single candle, already lit with a magical, red-gold flame.

Morgan tore her eyes away from the cake after a few seconds, meeting the adoring look that Rowan was sending her way instead. They reached for her hand, squeezing it gently.

"Happy birthday, Mórnkan." They said quietly.

Morgan blinked at them in astonishment, her mouth falling open slightly. Oh, they were so sweet to her. And so very, very strange.

"I, um... I mean, thank you, love, but... it's not my birthday."

It wasn't even close, in fact. Her birthday had been months ago. She'd unfortunately been at sea for it, away on some urgent business in Zadith. She'd gotten a few gifts from her father and from the crew, there'd been a small dance party at sundown; the ship's cook had even whipped up a cake for her. It had been fine. Nothing special, but nice enough. When she got home, several weeks later, she'd honestly barely spared her birthday a second thought; she was just grateful to be back in time for her and Rowan's anniversary near the end of the month. By now she'd forgotten about it completely.

Until now, that is.

"I know that." Rowan's smile looked a little melancholy when they squeezed her hand again. "But you weren't here. We never got to celebrate it together."

Morgan squeezed their hand back. "Is that what this is about...? You didn't need to do anything, silly. You already got me a present and everything." She knew they'd been working on the elaborate embroidery that now hung over their bed the whole month she'd been gone, and some change. She'd loved it, of course, but even just being home with them and back in their arms was gift enough for her.

"I know," Rowan repeated, smile a little sheepish now. "But I still wanted to do more... I've wanted to for ages. If I couldn't be there to make you feel special on your birthday, this seemed like the next best thing."

"Oh, honey..."  Morgan didn't know what to say. Yes, her birthday had been fine. Good, even. When she went to bed that night, warm and sleepy from dancing and drinking, she'd had no complaints about how the day itself had panned out.

But gods, it really had killed her that she wasn't going to bed with the love of her life at the end of it all. Maybe it had bothered her more than she'd let on. Had Rowan somehow picked up on that? Or was this really just something they had taken upon themself to do; a random act of generosity, for no reason other than to make her feel special?

No matter the reason, it hardly even mattered. Rowan made her feel special every day, always finding new ways to touch her heart. She moved out of her chair, climbing into their lap and wrapping her arms around their shoulders. "Thank you. You're so good to me... I love you."

Rowan hugged her back, kissing the top of her head.  "I love you, too."

They lifted their head a little, nodding to the cake with a cute little smirk. "Now, you'd better blow your candle out. God forbid any wax drips onto that cake, it cost a fortune."

Morgan laughed, turning so that she was sitting in Rowan's lap instead of straddling it. She neatly tucked her hair behind her ears as she leaned in and blew out the single candle, her eyes closed while she made her wish; that in the future, they wouldn't have to spend another important day apart. No holidays, no anniversaries, and no birthdays.

When she opened her eyes again, she blushed lightly when she saw Rowan watching her, gaze soft and adoring.

"What?" She asked them, giggling a little again.

"Nothing." Rowan shook their head with a smile. "I have everything I want."

Later that evening, long after they'd polished off that gorgeous little cake and Rowan had carried her to the bedroom for further celebration, Morgan was finishing up her make-up in the bathroom to get ready for her night out with the Devorak siblings. She'd offered to cancel, wanting to spend the rest of the night with Rowan after how sweet they'd been to her in the afternoon, but they'd been very insistent that she go out and have some fun.

"I actually made plans to head out on the town with Asra for a while, anyway," they'd told her while they made dinner together, their tone so casual that Morgan knew it was really anything but. "Who knows, we might even bump into you."

Oh, she was sure they would. Rowan was a lot of wonderful things, but an actor was certainly not one of them. She grinned to herself as she kissed their cheek and bade them farewell for now, wondering how many other people were involved in whatever surprise her darling had planned for her. She'd have to make sure to thank them properly when she saw them again later.

One thing was for sure, if her next real birthday had any hope of topping today's false one, it certainly had its work cut out for it.

A hundred small interactions take place during each of Jinana's days at the counter of The Scarab and Lotus. A smile, a kind word, a commiserating look - whether with a new customer or a longtime regular, these little exchanges are part of the flow of commerce, of the little social niceties that underpin a society. Sometimes these lead to the building of a friendship... or even to something more.

Morgan has been here before - it would be difficult to mistake that mane of curling hair. Under the shop lights, it shines a deep blue-green that puts hir in mind of the fathomless deep off the coast of some island of the imagination.

Jinana neatly packages the requested components, then reaches under the counter, bringing forth a little bag of cerise-colored mulberry paper, sealed with a bit of wax and the shop's eponymous logo. At Morgan's quizzical look, s/he explains: "Just a little something extra - my latest rose chai blend. We grow the roses ourselves, up in the rooftop garden. This time I've tried adding some roasted cacao nibs from Nopal. It just seems appropriate for the Heartsong Festival, doesn't it? I'd love to know what you think of it."

As Morgan reaches out to take the proffered bag, her fingertips brush against Jinana's own hennaed fingers, a brief but unexpectedly electric touch that causes both of them to briefly pause. Their eyes meet across the counter and the difference in their heights, and Morgan's lips curve in a slow smile as she curls her hand lightly around Jinana's.

Jinana gives her a certain look from under hir lashes, returning the smile as s/he relinquishes the bag of chai. This is a game s/he knows, one s/he enjoys. And why not - after all, it is the Heartsong Festival.

Problem is, I have over 600 OCs! It would be so incredibly hard for me to infodump about all 600 of them! In a manner that would be post-able on Tumblr!

SO under the break I'll give a quick breakdown of the... main stories/universes I have ^_^

You can also find my Toyhouse here! Folders are named and organized pretty thoroughly.

Tales of Astreus: Sci-fi, set in a near future of Earth. A small government has an empire that spans solar systems, and sentient species all over the galaxy fight back.

Main: Alex Cooper, a pilot to the Aegis Council, gets a small crew (Fuyuko, Valérie Blais) to complete a confidential mission. Months in, they get stopped by members of an Anti-Aegis organization (Kai Morgan, Knim) and have to work together as their ideals change. Space opera with a heist sub-plot.

Nekusasu: Worldbuilding side story, expanding upon the Nexus androids and the Nekusasu corporation.

Clicks: Worldbuilding side story, expanding upon the Clicks, an insect-like species with strict social roles.

Ma'atsul: Three young adults with powers relating to the elements have to stop a god killer who may be the fourth, lost member of their group. Late medieval fantasy (Alamiel, The Arsonist, Samira, Star, as well as 12 gods).

Kamaria: Fuga, heir to a small clan, and Ayda, princess of the kingdom of Kamaria, have to defeat an existential threat. Fantasy, most recent and with the most development needed.

H(A)UNTING: Contemporary fantasy/supernatural/horror. A company, highly secretive, classifies Unnatural events under 10 (eventually, 11) different Marks: the Collective, the Confinement, the Crawl, the Deep, the Mimic, the Ruin, the Sickness, the Solitary, the Tempest, the Viscera, (The Watcher).

Pyre Point: Main story. A scientist (Faux) uncovers secrets to Unnatural biology and the Midnight corporation has internal disputes. (Ellen Ward, Elliot Philips, and many more)

The End: Two Watchers (Wormwood and Andromalius) have to stop the End of Everything before it happens. (Featuring the Horsemen of the Apocalypse)

Rotting Heartz: An Unnatural band and an alternate future to The End story, with a post-apocalyptic setting.

Fortuna: There's no way I can explain it in words. Image attached. (Fortune/Sachiel, Abel Wilbert, Elias Henderson, and Smiley)

Deadly Sins: Set in a version of Hell, the Seven Deadly Sins personified have intertwined stories.

Alexandra: Moving for college, she encounters a family of vampires.

Sappho: Vampire from the early medieval age with a story spanning up to today.

My Property Isn't Normal: Based on the Reddit story of the same name.

Cowboys: Chris Sloan and Violet Noble butt heads in the american west while they try to uncover a mystery around the slaughter of the herd.

The Ocean: A pirate and a mermaid have a fateful meeting.

Animatronics: Less of a set world, and more of a collection of stories featuring animatronics.

Mythos' Diner: A story of familial tragedy and a continuing cycle of abuse, explored mostly through in-universe media and public reception, spanning 20+ years. An animatronic restaurant (similar to Chuck E. Cheese) themed around greek mythology. Lester Drakos, Harvey Lobos, Zero, and Aperes and the Muses.

Canidae: Originally a theme park in the 80s/90s, the characters were adapted into a cartoon in the early 2000s.

Feliforma: Competitor to Canidae Park, based on feliforms rather than canids.

Starlight: Contemporary fantasy. Maybe that's a strong descriptor... superheroes is more appropriate. Genetic mutations allow 10% of the population to have superpowers, and there are strict rules and regulations around who can become a superhero or supervillain.

Main: Kiran and Sasha are super rivals and romantically involved. A story about abuse and growth.

Epilogue: Post-main story, following high school aged supers and Kiran and Sasha's child.

Magical Girls: Not much in terms of names or character arcs, but magical girls who have to fight 7 Heavenly Virtues.

Many more miscellaneous supers...

Slasher: Again, less of a set world, and more a collection of different stories.

Shame: A group of college students find their deepest secrets and shames exposed by a ruthless killer.

Waterpark: Young adults spend their night in a closed waterpark, whilst being stalked by something.

Sunset Harbor, joint project with @/hellish-bone-monarch: A serial killer, infamous throughout the town, has a specific calling card. Copycat kills have been popping up recently, with people fearing of a twisted fanclub. College students are investigated regarding their alleged involvement.

Hound & Deer, also a join project with @/hellish-bone-monarch: Two slashers who are so so so sickly sweetly in love.

Garden of Eden: A retelling of the story through blogs and news sites.

Holmes: Retelling of Sherlock Holmes with contemporary characters.

Horror Game: No title as of yet, but two protagonists of different horror game genres are stuck together.

Space Rock Opera: No title as well, but a conceptual concert/stage play (think Halyx) that features space opera-type characters.

And MANY MANY MANY more miscellaneous characters without a specific story.

This is so cute to write oml. I went overboard and didn't even ask cause I was too excited hehe. Sorry if anything's off point. :V I'm just gonna but it under the cut cause it got too long.

I'm currently working on other asks! I just got carried away with this one. ✨👉👈

When Nadia allowed Eury to ride with her in the carriage on their way to welcome home their friends, it's mostly because she didn't want the Amazon running over roofs and people again. The last time that happened, a very unlucky merchant of cabbages found himself two crates short after Eury ungracefully fell on his carriage and sent an entire mount of vegetables rolling down the streets of Vesuvia. It was chaos getting everyone to stop panicking and Nadia had to scold Eury herself. The female was an excellent addition in the Vesuvian army but her actions were far too untamed and she often chooses to let her emotions decide her actions.

Right now, for example, Eury very carelessly jump out the royal carriage before it even came to a full stop. Nadia called for her but the woman was already shoving her way to the docks and towards the familiar ship already into port, the crew debarking cargo off the vessel. Using her height to her advantage, Eury looked over the crowd for one particular person. When she didn't find them in the docks, she continued to maneuver closer. And once the familiar shade of blue finally caught her eye, Eury immediately went and stepped over a couple crates and maybe a few people to close the distance between them. This earned her a multitude of shouts and curses, half of which she didn't even know the language. All fell into deaf ears, however, as Euryleia only continued to use them as stepping stones on her way aboard the ship and towards one person.

Fresh from two months long travel at sea, Morgan was now in the middle of a conversation with an overly animated Julian and with Portia who looked way too tired for his nonsense. The doctor only continued, "What I'm saying is if we just went through the strait earlier the next time we visit—"

"—We'll come crashing into the nearby cliffs and sink into sea!", Portia exclaimed, cutting her brother off. "Ilya, that's a stupid idea."

"Actually, if we maneuver with a smaller ship, it isn't as impossible–", Morgan added to which Julian beamed at, however, the female wasn't finished. "–but what's the point of a cargo vessel if it's too small? We'll just waste supplies and manpower."

"That's why we can also–"

Jumping over the wooden beam instead of taking the ramp, Euryleia finally landed on the ship's deck with a solid thud. When the trio heard the sudden noise, all three stopped to check if someone had accidentally dropped a crate or something. Multiple stares turned to the sudden passenger's direction but Eury only met eyes with one particular gaze. Both Julian and Portia called to her but she only cared for one person at the moment.

"Eury! Over here!", Morgan waved to her from the other side of the ship. Instead of waving back or answering at all, Eury only made her way directly to her direction with a somewhat determined expression. The blue-haired sailors smiled at the approaching female. "Here to welcome us home? I have so much to tell you! We also brought home quite a lot of souvenirs! You remember that particular candied fruit you've wanted? We found a merchant that–mmph!"

The moment she was at arm's reach, without hesitation, Eury had wrapped her arms around the shorter woman's waist and cut her off by pulling her in for a long-awaited kiss, eyes closed. The kiss was somewhat too rough but Eury eventually found the common sense to relax. Morgan's eyes were wide open from surprise at first but eventually closed in bliss, kissing back and placing her toned arms atop equally strong shoulders. The immediate she felt the other kiss back, Eury went further and turned her head slightly to the side as she dipped Morgan, arms still supporting her waist and back. Salty winds brushed against their skin, their hair flowing with the breeze as both of them just sink into each other's warmth.

The kiss might've lasted longer than normal though because Julian had awkwardly cleared his throat and tried to speak, but Euryleia blindly raised a hand at his direction to shut him up. Offended, he tried to speak again but it was Morgan this time that raised a finger and told him to hold it until they're done. With a huff and a snicker from his sister, he finally decided to wait.

When the need for air became too much, Euryleia reluctantly pulled away. The bright afternoon sun casted above her head as she gazed down at her partner. Eury placed one last kiss on her lips before fully hugging Morgan, burying her face in the other's neck. "...I missed you."

"I can tell.", the other's laughter was music to her ears, Eury nuzzling her further because of it. Oh how she missed the sound of her voice. "I missed you, too, Eury."

"You know... We came back home, too.", Julian suddenly slides in with one of his usual grins, completely ruining the moment. "Do we not get a welcome home kiss?"

Eury sent him a glare and growled. Julian raised his hands in defense. "I was kidding!", he laughed, earning a jab at his side from his sister as well. "-Ow! Fine, fine! But you should probably continue that at home or maybe in the Captain's quarters. You're making everyone here jealous."

"Don't be ridiculous.", Morgan playfully scolded, straightening her back to stand properly again. Eury still refused to let go of her though,  now hugging her waist from behind and nuzzling her hair like a lost puppy. "The bed in the quarters won't fit Eury~"

"...my new room in the palace can fit both of us.", Eury suggested to which Morgan chuckled at, turning around in the embrace and reaching up to ruffle the taller's bright orange hair.

"Then, why don't you show me?", she asked. "I'm also quite tired. I also brought home some Nevivon salts if you want join me for a bath?"

At the prospect of a shared bath, Eury immediately perked up, her lips stretching to a wide grin. She nodded with a childlike enthusiasm and was already pulling Morgan off the boat, the other laughing at the sudden excitement.

Meanwhile, Julian watched as the two walked away, sighing. He turned to his sister but was met with nothing but empty space, Portia already running towards Nadia who welcomed her home with a kiss of her own. The doctor groaned.

"...I'm definitely too single for this."

Wynne's Birthday Diary - Morgan Drakos

It was a beautiful night. The moon was up reflecting its light all over the city. Every resident of Vesuvia could see it and enjoy its view, but the most beautiful display was at the palace gardens, as the flowers shone under the moonlight, painting their petals with a metallic shine and complimenting the colours of their corolla. The fountain also reflected its luminance back, giving the water a tint of melted silver.

While I just stood near them, watching and observing how the night changes their palettes ever-so delicately. Like some sort of magic been casted upon them. A soft kiss to turn them into silver as the deity herself. How enchanting right?

And what was I doing outside at such a night? Well, I was waiting for a certain strong-armed blue-haired lady near the fountain. She was an apprentice to Asra, and was my partner in solving the mystery behind Lucio's death.

We both were quite a nice team actually, with the information being collected from both the sides and collaborating it with each other's findings, it was less stressful than working alone. However, we both did have our disagreements leading to both of us getting hurt by our different logic and feelings, but at the end of the day, we always patched up. Like good friends.

And why was I waiting for this lady now when the case has been solved and everything is over? Well, because today was her birthday. And I was planning to give her something special. In private.

We of course had a party at the palace in the honor of her birthday. It was very grand and exquisite, as expected from Countess Nadia hosting the celebration. Though I wanted a sole moment with her because of our special bond, and gift her with something I made for her while thinking only about her and nothing ever distracting me from my work.

Because what I was doing was all out of love.

"You called me Wynne??" And that's where she was, emerging from the back of the trees after I had asked a servant to give a note to her asking for meeting me alone near the fountain. She was of course unaware of why I called her here as she approached me, curiosity-laden eyes locking with mine.

As soon as she was close enough to me, I spoke to her.

"So did you like the party, Morgan?"

"Oh yes of course. So much big and grand just for me, it's pretty overwhelming to be honest. But I loved it. I really need to thank Nadia for organizing such a great party for my birthday. It's my best birthday ever!" She smiled, which made me crack one too on my lips.

"That's great to hear. Nadia never fails to amaze us, does she?" I stated.

"Nope. Not at all. And I don't think she ever will" Morgan (@knight-engale) laughed.

"That's true. With her skills, it's just impossible for her to not host something well" I giggled back.

"Yeah. Anyways, why did you call me here? At such a place I mean. Because we can talk inside too right? Is something the matter?" She straightaway asked, there was a bit of worry I could hear in her voice. She was just like Asra, worried about even the most pettiest things. I find it quite cute and amusing to be honest.

"It's nothing that serious Morgan. Don't worry. I just.....wanted to give you this......It's for you" I then handed her the gift I took weeks to make it for her.

Morgan just stared at it in her hands. It seemed like she was examining what I had given her, but when she got to know what was it, her green eyes sparkled from exhilaration.

"Oh my.......It's......It's beautiful!" Morgan touched the texture of the royal blue fabric with her fingers. The patterns of peacock feathers and ocean waves seemed to have caught her interest just like what I was expecting, which satisfied me.

From the journey we both went through together during the solving of the case made me learn every like and dislike of hers, which totally helped me a lot with preparing a perfect gift for my friend. A lovely royal blue sun dress with sky blue and grass green peacock feathers and also the ocean blue waves for the patterns on the frock, to compliment her gorgeous long turquoise blue hair, her light tanned skin, her jade green eyes and her love for the vast ocean.

Morgan held the dress fully in her hands and gasped at how pretty it was. She then suddenly hugged me tight, almost making me stumble back and yelp.

"Thank you so much Wynne. The sundress is very beautiful. I love you for this" she then gripped my waist tighter in her embrace not to mention I was held in the air, I gasped for air as she pressed me tight. She for sure was very strong, almost like Pasha. Her strength was more than enough to squeeze my insides hard.

"I-I am glad you liked it, My Dear. If only you could put me down for me to continue" I replied breathlessly.

"Oh! I apologise" she puts me down, her cheeks pink from embarrassment. I dusted my dress a bit before starting again.

"I am so glad to have you Morgan. I remember the first time when I strongly refused Nadia to not make you team up with me because of my hermit nature. And how I was always so annoyed by your presence. But slowly I began to realise that......I needed you. Whether it was emotionally or for the assistance in the case, you were there for me. You prevented me from ending myself because of all the bullshit going around me"

I chuckled at the last sentence.

"Anyways, thank you for supporting me through every moment Morgan. I know that I will never be able to thank you back enough, but please accept my little gift for your special day. That's all I wanted to say" I finally finished with a sigh, looking down at the grass. They were pretty shiny tonight.

But then I felt someone holding my chin and lifting it up to meet their eyes. And as guessed, it was Morgan.

I swear to lemons, she was looking so elegant under the moonshine. Her eyes had that lustre in them, her green orbs were shining along the stars, giving it a look of galaxy. I could have got lost in them but when she kissed my forehead and nose, I blinked my eyes thrice, breaking from her enchantment.

"What's the matter Wynne?" Morgan smirked at me.

Fuck.

That smirk......

That damn smirk........

It was my sore weakness.......

It always makes me blush...................

And just like I said, my cheeks heated up as I looked away, my throat forming a lump inside.

I heard Morgan laugh, she had a sweet tuneful tone, and the feel of her lips this time on each of my cheeks. This made my fluster worse as my lips trembled.

"Alright Winnie. I am done. You can stop blushing now" she joked. How typical of her.

"R-R-Right" I cleared my throat and regained my composure while she just waited patiently for me.

"Fine. Shall we go then? The rest might be waiting for you"

"why of course. Care to join me, My Lovely Blue Lady?" She offered me her hand.

I blushed a bit yet again and took her hand without any hesitation as we both chuckled at her own cheesiness and walked inside the palace together, holding each other's hand.

Damn you Morgan.
