I know that The Grim Group are likely More robots like Grim Sonic. However I can’t shake the feeling that Sonic might’ve been onto something when he accused Nine of roboticizing his friends.

Since The Copies of the OG Grim Robots’s faces are more colorful and we did see the Ghost Hill Group float away, with their eyes shut, seemingly accepting their fate. Plus in response to Sonic’s accusation, Nine spoke that they are “His Friends now” instead of denying it.

Since Ghost Hill started to decay immensely once Nine started to use the energy and created the things he did in the Grim (with it also effecting the world Nine had claimed) but the Ghost practically got destroyed as opposed to the other worlds, and the Grim bots looking way too much like Amy, Knuckles and Rouge- *has another realization* (oh boy this is gonna need it own post). Maybe the essence of Ghost Hill did go into the energy Nine's been using.
