Hello can I request some Ringo x Mitsuru content ? I haven’t seen them in a looooong time
-blows dust off- ...so...been a while. i have two of these writing requests though in my inbox so, i should give yall something
just an FYI though i've been out of the loop for a while, so idk what all went on in the manga besides some tidbits i learned from friends. anyways i'm so sorry for the long wait:

the skidding wheels of the bullet train perked ringo from her phone, quickly pocketing it as she walked towards the opening doors. a long but eventful day at work left her almost exhausted, contemplating a nap on the ride back-
"YOOOOOOOO!" exclaimed far off as she turned, the hard hitting boots mitsuru wore emitting as loud of a sound as his voice. "KEEP THE DOOR OPEN YALLLLLLL!"
a part of her did not want to keep the door open. however the good co-worker part of her quickly slapped her hand on the left end of the entrance long enough for mitsuru to get inside; there went her short nap she supposed.
slowly pulling himself up from his half crouch panting mitsuru finger gunned at her, his coat over his shoulder and hat clasped on his belt. "yooo ringo thanks for that!" she shrugged responding despondently "what are co-workers for?"
"right!?" he smacked her shoulder blades with a chuckle as she kept herself from falling. "man y'know i always say that but the guys sure don't reciprocate that."
"i wonder why." she grumbled, walking to an empty seat as he followed flopping next to her. "man i dunno." he feigned tearing up "poor ol tsuru's friends just take advantage of his good will."
"what a semi-convincing display of emotion your pulling."
he turns back sharply with a sharp smile. "ey thanks! been workin on it."
"can you also work on keeping your voice down?"
"heh, guess i do owe ya one for that so sure."
"thank you."

lightly tapping on his phone mitsuru glanced down at the red head currently resting on his shoulder. wasn't even five minutes before she passed out.
another stop another few guards and workers coming on, he almost wouldnt've taken much notice until a pair of legs was standing right in front of them. taking advantage of his shaded lenses he looked up just enough to see the random guard staring at them- no wait- not directly at them but at-
...his smile made mitsuru snear, slowly pulling his glasses down as he looked up, gaining the guy's surprised attention.
"yo." low and dark as he glared. "can i help ya with somethin'?"
immediately he left in embarrassment. mitsuru "tsk"d putting an arm around ringo's shoulder. the creeps they let work at the prison he swore.

"my apologies for the unnecessarily physical response now that i have more context of the situation you described."
the rattling of the train station's vendor stopped as a small pack of ice dropped, mitsuru quickly picking it up to put on his right eye.
"psh nah t's fine. don't blame ya. man ya pack a punch though." ringo loured lightly, mitsuru noticing quickly before her expression shifted to look more neutral.
"ey, how about we get drinks? my treat." she perks up surprised. "wh- why your treat? i hit you so i should be the one to."
"ya bought the ice pack for me so 't's only fair."
"but that makes it uneven compared to your help on the train-" he put a finger in front of her, a smile on his face. "it ain't a competition ring. 't's just what friends do."
"friends..." she mumbled as he took two steps ahead of her, offering a hand. "so what'dya say? can also just escort ya home if ya want." her face felt warmer then she remembered, brushing back her bang before nodding.
"i can fit in a drink before home. thank you mitsuru."
"ain't nothin ringy-dink."
"don't."

“boo i wanted ta see a recordin of it.” she chuckled lightly before looking down again. taking his seat behind her he continued wrapping his arms around her kissing her neck. “so my snow white what’s the grey clouds over ya?”
“it’s...this body feels...off.” she mumbled as she hunched over lightly. “mean, it’s getting closer to done but after all this, it’s gonna be awkward getting it off and fitting my uniform and us doing th-”
she got caught off as mitsuru had tilted her head to the side enough to kiss her. “i...really don’t care.” he stated almost seriously, taking his sunglasses off to look at her. “babe, ya still look hot and i’m tryin not ta smother ya in whatever my mind wants ta smother ya in senseless right now.” he stated as she smiled widely, trying to hide it in embarrassment.
“geez, why can’t you be that serious at your job?”
“cause my job is boriiii~ng, that and it’s more fun pissin hajime off.” he chuckled as she crossed her arms a bit. “i assume i’m the opposite of all those?”
“are ya a natural red head?~”

“my good ripe apple i have been at this for almost four years now. i think i can handle a bit of it.” he stated as he put hands on his hips, the small child next to him putting her hands on her hips aswell mimicking him as ringo sighed. “alright alright. melody, ana-…where’s aname?”
a sneeze came from the wheeled suitcase’s cracked zipper. unzipping it to find a similar little girl with ringo’s hair colors, wavey hair and golden eyes staring at the three. “…that explains my clothes i suppose.”

the three waved as ringo drove off, mitsuru holding aname as the three went inside. “alriiiight my little apple buds.” he stated as he set aname down with melody. “now, what should we do that mama doesn’t like huh?” he asked the two, melody in thought while aname shuffled in place.
“go ta work!” aname stated as mitsuru felt a shiver at that idea. “eheeeeeh…aname my little ambrosia what’dya wanna do that ya don’t do when mama’s home?”
aname looked off shyly. “d…draw?”
“but ya can draw anytime-”
“on the walls?” her twin’s eyes turned to stars at the idea as mitsuru felt an even more intense shiver then the work one. “…hows bout we make a pizza alright? can put anything on it!”

ringo giggled lightly as she looked over the three days of pictures mitsuru sent to her on her ride home. from an outting to the park, to melody finding a rabbit, to aname drawing her on one of her drawings. if only work could’ve let her see these earlier.
finally getting to the door she moved to open it, only for melody to open it excitedly, laughter echoing the house as she was taken aback by aname tackling her leg and mitsuru’s laughter.
“see? i told ya i got it my golden delicious~!” he exclaimed, ringo looking up to see drawings all over his day off shirt, face and sunglasses, causing her to shiver a bit from giggling. “yyep…yep you sure did heh.”

“daaww don’t ya remember me? we did the hacking thing, and the chatting thing, i thought we had somethin special.” he teased as she texted shin on the situation. “that was purely work related.”
“awwww man, well, looks like we’re both trapped by fate apparently.” he chuckled as she kept her phone out, hoping it’d distract her enough. “you mean the storm?”
“it’s fate!”
“it’s a snowstorm.”
“i see your the half empty type huh?~” he teased out as she sighed. “i just want to get to work. we have a busy schedule.”
“ey same here chief, but there’s a plus side to this.”
ringo huffed. “firstly that’s not my name. secondly ...you work?”
“eyyy did you get that potshot from hajime-chan? so ruuude!”
“lastly, what plus side?” she asked looking at him, a bit thrown off by a different feeling emiting from him.
“means i get ta know alot bout ya.” she repressed her cheeks from turning a shade of red her hair was as he continued. “i mean, maybe i’m just an extrovert, maybe it’s cause of the job i’ve been working for so long but, i like gettin to know people. what they like, what makes em do things and such. whether it’s samon eating a whole box of popcicles and blaming it on air conditioning, the otogi’s dancing when no one’s looking, or inmate fifteen failing to cheat at a card game. i just find those little quirks interesting. it’s like...a reminder bout humans and living, y’know what i’m sayin?”
he looked back at her chuckling lightly at her surprised expression. “man, this probably isn’t a whole lotta your business. i just uh, get carried away.” he pushed his sunglasses up lightly. on his nose bridge as the speakers turned on.
“attention: the snow storm has lessened enough for transportation of the male and female nanba prison’s airlines. thank you for your patience.”
both quickly got up, mitsuru stretching as he looked around. “well this was fun going all deep and personal.” he stated jokingly as he looked to her. “so now i guess ya know bit bout m-” he paused as he was given a green apple shaped sticky note from her.
“here’s something where you can learn more about me.” she stated matter of fact-ly as she walked off. walking off himself mitsuru read the sticky note, having numbers and an email address on it, being taken aback by it.
“....did i just score a date or somethin?”

“ms shirayuki!” ringo looked to warden sauzando and dread by his side, shin looking notably annoyed. “i understand your not feeling well but atleast throw away your trash when leaving the bathroom’s vicinity instead of having it lie around.” he stated, putting a small open box into her hands. “yes sir.” she replied quietly as he walked away, dread staying behind as ringo turned her chair back to the screen.
“so? what’d it say?”
“that’s personal information i can’t give out.” she stated as she typed.
“…so that’s a yes?” ringo continued to stay quiet as dread shook her head. “well i shouldn’t be surprised with who your seeing i mean-”
“don’t judge me on my love life unless your fine being compared to a coal black kettle.”
the subordinate jumped at the sudden change in tone but scoffed and walked away. “good luck then anyways. that guy probably isn’t the type who likes to be chained down.”
through the disappearing footsteps ringo slowly paused her typing, picking up the box she had set down on her desk and squeezing it, gritting her teeth at that notion. and yet….why was she scared of it being right?
“YAHOOOOOOOO RING A DING LING RINGOOOOO?~” mitsuru chimed as he kicked the door open almost skipping inside as ringo looked up at him.
“i’m pregnant.”
…suddenly he fell from the skip, landing on his face. getting up the red head moved towards him, crouching down and poking his hair. “hitokoe?”
he looked up, shades falling slightly to showcase his eyes staring at her wide eyed. “…”
“oh god damnit did i break you?” she asked putting both hands on his head and moving it slightly. “where’s the control panel in this thing?”
“try the backseat~.” he joked gaining a flustered eye roll as he got up, sitting on his legs. “but nah seriously, what ya said-”
“i-it’s…it’s nothi-” she attempted to stutter out, only to be given a firm hug in reply, the loud speaker himself smiling from ear to ear. “you serious?”
“i-uh….” she paused before slowly hugging him back, nuzzling into his shoulder embarrassed. “…y-yes.”
suddenly she felt herself picked up, and falling into his arms bridal style as he screeched. “WE’RE GETTIN A KIDDO HELL YEAH!!!!!!” and started running around the house chanting the news, gaining a surprised chuckle out of the red head, knowing the hooded red robin hood rip off was wrong all along.

the tanned loud mouth groaned as he put a hand over his eyes, rolling over into his pillow away from the awful sun coming through his window. he didn’t wanna get uuuuuuup. however the smell of grounded coffee beans slowly conflicted with his sleepy self and caffeinated loving ass self.
it was only further conflicted realizing that the bed felt…a bit lighter then it was last night. with that confirming his decision he rolled out of the bed, falling on the floor and slowly rising up, keeping a hand over his eyes as he tried to find his sunglasses on the nightstand. talk bout another reason to get up where the hell were those little buggers?
looking through the cracks in his fingers he walked out of his room, sleepily and nearly running into the door frame. down the hall and stood in awe at the entrance to the kitchen.
a familiar bob of red hair looking over the coffee maker, draped in a big white button up workshirt and familiar pair of shades that sat a little further down the bridge of her nose to still see those pretty grey eyes of hers.
“is that my shirt~?” mitsuru growled flirty, catching the other off guard as she held a cup of tea in her hand nearly dropping it. “hmm, what do you think?”
“daaaw my little robin likes my outfits~. neva did i think you’d be into those, how did ya put em, ‘unprofessional party uniforms’?~” ringo rolled her eyes at him. “i couldn’t…find my outfit.”
“and that’s why you took my shades~?”
she glared and walked over, giving the shades back onto his face. situating them he chuckled. “daaaw so it’s true you like me~.”
“why else would i be in your home? or for that matter why i’d…” she cleared her throat “perform with you in certain ways?”
“well i thought work buds with benefits was an option~.” he growled as he wrapped his hands around her waist, head nuzzling into her shoulder. “then again makin me coffee is one way to say ya love me~.”
she softly smirked, petting his head. “i guess consider this my love confession~.”

Who’s the messiest? The cleanest? tsuru’s the messiest ringo’s the cleanest.
Who fixes the vehicle after a breakdown? tsuru tries if it’s easy but ringo just calls up a mechanic.
Living space has a leak! Who fixes it? rino calls up a plumber. especially since tsuru thinks tape is good enough to help.
Who buys the groceries? ringo.

Who’s loud? Who’s quiet? Does one try to make the other louder/quieter? How? i feel like this is so obvious but funny enough both are pretty loud. and ringo definitely tries to shush herself and him while tsuru tries to get her to be louder~.
Lights on or off? Do they look at each other? Or is someone embarrassed? depends really. sometimes on and sometimes off kinda depending on how tsuru wants to go with it. sometimes they do and shockingly both get embarrassed if his glasses are off. -i headcanon the one thing tsuru’s shy on are his eyes-
Open or closed relationship? Do they sometimes share? closed mostly, tho tsuru teasingly mentions some cuties he won’t open the gates if ringo doesn’t.

when of if I started shipping it. i believe when the two first interracted is when my life was ruined from loving them.
my thoughts: their so underrated despite havin like, so much potential!
What makes me happy about them: just the opposites attract angle of the relationship.
What makes me sad about them: that ringo’s stuck at the female prison and can’t go over there.
things done in fanfic that annoys me: jhkdfshkjsfks i’m the only one who made fanfics that i know of idk if anyone else has eheh.
things I look for in fanfic: i guess her being the straightman to mitsuru’s loonasy and finding it cute.
My wishlist: lets get some wacky adventures with these two! maybe even a date night where tsuru goes all out!
Who I’d be comfortable them ending up with, if not each other: hmmmm ringo with dread and honestly i’m fine with tsuru just bein single but like, any of the four supervisors i’d be fine with.

I do NOT ship them all in canon ages AND DON’T condone it. the closest I can think of for the ships in canon verse are little crushes that don’t lead to anything OR in more platonic or familial relationships but NOT romantic in canon-verse ages. I will NOT ship a 6 year old with someone 10 years older then them in canon-verse like Jesus Christ no!
even characters that are CLOSE to certain older age I will NOT ship unless their aged older cause shipping a minor with a 25 year old is…no. no no NO! so thank you very much! and please don’t be mean.

Secretly tries to touch the other in naughty places during public/family events hajime. (sometimes. mostly they don’t but there’s exceptions~.)
