So I’ve read the website’s description of the mob vote mobs, and I’ve seen the videos.

And I wanted to get down cohesively everything we know.

However: we have to keep in mind that mojang seems to never properly explain the mobs until after the votes. We just get brief short explanations and insinuations, which lead to disappointments.

Also keep in mind, some Jewish fans/players have consistently brought up their distaste for the golems every time mojang adds one to the mob vote, and it’s worth listening to them on the antisemitic issue.

The basics:

Sniffer:

-ancient horticultural mob

-eggs found in underwater ruins

-can find new unique plants

Rascal:

-hides below y=0

-won’t take you into the deep dark

-plays hide and seek with you

-gives you clues to its location

-gifts an item when found 3 times

Tuff Golem:

-buildable mob like the iron and snow golem

-statue state is essentially an armor stand,

-it’s mobile state functions more as an allay (it finds the nearest dropped item if it doesn’t have one displayed)

-if you add wool, it becomes customizable like llamas

Personally? I’m looking forward to the sniffer. The tuff golem reminds me too much of the allay, and the rascal to me doesn’t seem worth it. I feel like the rascal is going to end up being just like the wandering trader.
