Giraffe and Annika developer atelier mimina has announced Haruka: Beyond the Stars, a new juvenile science-fiction action RPG for PlayStation 5, Switch, and PC (Steam). It will launch in 2025.

Story

Humankind faces its twilight in the far future. Having explored every corner of the universe, people have stopped progressing—their lifestyle now dependent on Energy Capsules, a legacy of their past. Yuuki is a boy living in Spica Village, a base for receiving Energy Capsules from the lunar ruins. One night, he meets Miiya, a mysterious girl who crash-landed due to a spaceship malfunction. It all started with the gentlest of knocks at the door.

Head perking up, the young ducking had unceremoniously dropped the book that she had been reading, a thick tome entitled and translated as "The Lesser Key of Solomon" onto the desk with a THUNK and skipped happily to the door.

Taking a moment, she had fetched a little stool beside the door and used it to look out the peephole in the door.

A beautiful man was there. Poe hadn't told Mini that he would be expecting visitors, but at the same time not a lot of people even knew where this place was.

Curiosity and concern tore at her. On one hand, she could let them in. Maybe Papa knew them. But he also had a few enemies...

Slowly, cautiously, she creaked open the door. "Can I help you Mister?"

The words were not English, but Italian. The girl didn't want to give away too much of herself, and if Poe didn't know this pretty man then maybe a little confusion could help her know more.
