Moon 5
(Nothing interesting happened in Moon 4, so I decided to skip most of it's events. Luckily, we have a new trainwreck.) Warning: This moon contains blood and content related to childbirth.
Sunrisepaw padded along one of the paths that developed from his frequent gathering. Heatherpaw was at his heels, humming gently. He twitches an ear before stopping in his tracks.
"Sunrisepaw, stop. I hear.. something." Heatherpaw whispered with her oddly infuriating voice. Maybe because he heard it first, and didn't need to be told like a kit. She was helpful though, he knew that.
He nodded, and heard it again, louder. An earsplitting mewl, then a hiss. His paws felt cold in the dirt, and something inside him tugged. Something was wrong. He ran forth, tripping through the bushes before stopping. His heart dropped.
Whispers gathered in his ears, guiding his paws swiftly. Acutely aware of Heatherpaw's newfound presence. It was like he was in a trance, muttering under his breath. He yowled behind him to Heatherpaw, who seemed frozen in place. "GO GET SONGSKY!"
His friend.. turned tail and ran, hopefully, to get Songsky. His paws were stained from mud and blood, and he was more... aware now.

Heatherpaw had burrowed into the new mother's fur, sobbing wholeheartedly. She'd been incredibly incoherent since they got the kits and the queen back to camp. The cat was apparently her mother, from JunkyardClan.
Sunrisepaw felt for her, even with the twinge of jealous flaming from within him. It wasn't fair. She got her siblings, and her mother.
But, she was happy, and that brightened Sunrisepaw's smile, even if just a small step. Plus, he did not envy her now, who would have to deal with five new little brothers.

Oh boy! Five kits! All toms! My.. favorite... number. I haven't mentioned their names yet, because their mother, Squirrelbillow, hasn't chosen at the time of the writing. They are named Dewkit, Leafkit, Hillkit, Goldkit, and lastly Milkweedkit. (left to right)
I hope you don't mind my skipping of Moon 4, because I didn't have anything too dramatic to happen.

Welcome. This is Tempestclan, a small band established near the sea. After a hurricane swept through the territory and killed most of the clan's members- there are few left, the leader, deputy, a de facto medicine cat dragged from his retirement, an elder, an apprentice and two kits- the children of Ripplestar's younger brother, Pinechomp, who was one of those killed during the hurricane.

MISTLESTAR: INTRO
[The leaves are beginning to fall, and the wind has begun to pick up. You know what that means - and it's even more evident whenever you lift your nose and smell the crisp air. It must finally be leaf-fall. At long last.]
[Leading a clan is a lot of hard work, and leaf-fall is your favorite season.]
[Your name is MISTLESTAR. You're the leader of WHISTLECLAN, a recently founded clan that joined the neighboring ones. Your territory is flat plains, where you and your clanmates run like the wind and tunnel deep into the earth.]
[You aren't positive of your own skills as the leader, and though your clanmates trust you deeply, you tend to be a bit insecure of your own ability. On top of it, you're extremely paranoid. But that isn't your fault... it's only like that because of your innate sense of the ghosts that wander these plains.]
[As you walk through the camp, you come across the sight of two cats trying their best to ignore a noisy kit.]
[Giving MILKWEEDKIT a small smile, you turn your attention to the two cats who are trying to hide their obvious annoyance of the small cat.]
SLATEBURN:
Oh... hey, Mistlestar! How are you doing today?
[That cat is SLATEBURN, your deputy. He's always been a good speaker and a natural storyteller. His intuition is hard to match, and the two of you are good friends.]
EMBERSPOT:
Milkweedkit has a story today. Care to sit in on it?
[EMBERSPOT is one of the warriors in the clan. He's a little bit of trouble, if you're honest.]
MISTLESTAR:
Oh, uh... no, no thank you. Sorry, I... have somewhere to be.
[You rush past the two cats and continue on your way. Milkweedkit's stories can go on forever, and you still have patrols to welcome back.]
[When you continue on, you run into two more warriors returning from a patrol, clearly halting their gossip to address you.]
FAWNHOWL:
Hey, Mistlestar. How goes it? Easy hunting today! Hah! Not that I had any doubt!
[FAWNHOWL is a confident sort, but she definitely has the skill to back it up.]
FLIPSWAN:
Fawnhowl did well. She always does. I expect nothing less of her.
[FLIPSWAN is Fawnhowl's mate, and she's always taking care of things around the camp. She SEEMS really nice, but there's... something off about her.]
[After exchanging some pleasantries, you're off on your way once again.]
[You find one of the warriors sharing some ideas with the apprentices.]
MOTTLEDSPECK:
- so as you can see, it's really important not to try and tear off at your full speed until you're sure of the direction you're headed.
[MOTTLEDSPECK is a quick-runner, and he's certain one day he'll be the fastest cat in all the world.]
[The apprentices are... vaguely listening. Their names are SLIGHTPAW and WISTERIAPAW. The two of them share a heightened sense of justice, and a desire to grow into a member of your clan's important history.]
[There's only one last cat you want to check on before you go about your business, so you head to the medicine den.]
BRIARSWAN:
Oh, Mistlestar! How nice it is to see you out and about. How are you doing? How's the er... ghost problem?
[BRIARSWAN is not only a phenomenal medicine cat, but he's also the kindest cat you've ever known.]
[The question makes you pause. Briarswan is the only cat who knows of your visions of ghosts along the plains.]
MISTLESTAR:
Nothing too bad today. Maybe it was just nerves after all.
BRIARSWAN:
Whatever the case, you know I'm always here for you.
[What a lovely clan you have. You feel pride swell in your chest. This is YOUR clan. You hope you can do them proud.]

Welcome!
This is a blog dedicated to documenting the stories and characters from my ClanGen game, SplashClan!
Story
The four clans once lived in peace until BloodClan came, forcing them to flee their home. While they found a home, new territories beside a lake, fighting soon began amongst the clans and starvation caused the clans to die out. Years passed and a decendant of the old clan cats, Rootmask, discovers that the lake is being occupied by groups of BloodClan-affiliated rogues. Angered that his ancestor's home is being taken over once again by BloodClan, he decides to fight back by reforming the clans.
In the end, DeadClan, HeatherClan, HazeClan and SplashClan were formed and the BloodClan-affiliated rogues were driven out.

Story:
Roseclaw always thought that she was destined for more. As a kit, she could hear the voices of Starclan kits. But eventually, over time, they stopped speaking to her.
She hated herbs, and she wasn’t made a medicine apprentice.
Life went along somewhat normally, but she hated her Clanmates. All except one, who she fell in love with: Coyotetuft.
Or at least, that’s what she told Coyotetuft.
She vented to her a lot growing up, and Coyotetuft vented to her in turn. Roseclaw knew that if she was planning to kill someone, which she had planned since she was a kit, she would need an ally. Someone to vouch for her.
Coyotetuft did vouch for her, and Roseclaw killed the Clanmates she deemed lazy to satisy her urges. Over time, it wasn’t enough.
Coyotetuft never got over the death of her littermates, and so she was easy to manipulate. Her siblings had died of kittencough. Roseclaw used this to her benefit.
She slowly fed Coyotetuft lies about how if there were too many kits, and how they would all die from kittencough.
That is why when Darkwhisker had five kits who she didn’t want anything to do with, and wouldn’t even acknowledge, Coyotetuft started getting worried. Then Pouncetalon had four kits. Birdfoot had six.
Two moons later, under the cover of night, they lured Milkweedkit, Garlickit, Bayoukit out into the forest. Roseclaw threw them into a fox den, and held her mate while she cried, listening to the pleasant sounds of the kits’ wails.
Four days later, they lured Skykit, Bloomkit, Twigkit into the forest and killed them as well. Roseclaw drowned Skykit, making the other two watch as she revived and killed him over and over again.
She slit Bloomkit’s throat, and made Twigkit try to stop the bleeding while he sobbed over his friend’s body. She crushed his lungs shortly after.
Coyotetuft grew quieter over the next few moons, flinching away from Roseclaw.
In the next three moons, ten more kits were born. She killed four, carrying the small newborn kits and tossing them to dogs.
But then seven more kits were born! Coyotetuft and Roseclaw argued more and more, and Coyotetuft started begging her not to kill. So, Roseclaw slashed at her with unsheathed claws whenever she spoke about it.
Coyotetuft went completely quiet from then on, barely speaking to her. After she killed Prancekit and Kalekit, having torn their ears, tongues, and noses off before killing them, she asked Coyotetuft to go grab the smallest of the litter, Cicadakit.
Coyotetuft shook, terrified, but she stood over the small shaking kit, and killed Roseclaw, praying that Cicadakit was too young to remember.

Story:
After killing Roseclaw, she found out that she was expecting kits. She had two kits, and supported her Clan as best as she could, hoping to repent for what happened.
Her family grew, and she got even closer to her brother, Rookstar, who became her best friend. Their kits, too, became best friends, as did their kits.
She even ended up with more littermates! She supported her family, and never told a soul what she did.
Her heart was starting to fail, and not long before she passed, Cicadakit, now Cicadatail, came to her on her deathbed and thanked her for saving them. They cried, and he stayed with her and her family when she passed. She just hoped Starclan would accept her.

Chaffinchflip notices the moss is getting old. He leads the way to a patch he knows of, Stoattuft close behind. The two cut off pieces of moss and carefully roll them into little bundles to carry back to camp.
Mallowskip, Sunpatch, & Fernpaw
Mallowskip suggests that this could be a good time to do some teamwork. Everyone has a nice practice session, and their trust in each other grows stronger.
Chasingcreek, Meadowfur, & Foghowl
The patrol hears the traipse of paws through the territory. They warily approach and find a cat sniffing around. The cat notices their arrival after a second, and brightly says that he's heard of SnakerootClan and would like to join. They bring him back and Serpentstar accepts him into their ranks, renaming him Boulderheart.

Flowerfall -
A tabby she-cat with soft, fluffy cream fur, a deeply nicked ear, and yellow-amber eyes. Their tail shape resembles a branch draped with moss, and their paws are bigger than usual.
Stagdance -
A dark brown tom with white splotches across his tail, legs, and face. Small scars cover his pelt, the more significant ones around his face and haunches. His fur is a bit rougher than his mate’s, and has striking yellow eyes.
Hypokits? This is mainly for me and my partner- because why not?
Larkkit: a long furred, red tabby tom-kit. he has a white stomach marked by red freckles as well as a white muzzle and white fur around his pale yellow eyes. he has large paws and a long, plumed tail.
Milkweedkit: a fluffy cream colored she-kit with uncontrollable fur. she has round, dark amber eyes and a pale pink nose/pawpads. she is the largest of her siblings and unlike them has zero patches of white fur.
Molekit: a dark brown and white tabby kit. all of their toes are white, they have some white splotches on their forehead, tail and haunches. they have yellow eyes and unusually large paws with pale pink paw pads and a pale pink nose.

Nothing bad, she was in love with Minkkit. They met Crowkit who later developed vitiligo and became Fadekit so Milkweedkit decided she hates him. Minkpaw kills fleecekit and Milkweedpaw is horrified and devastated. Fadepaw is there for her no matter how much she tries to bully him and push him away, Fadepaw finally makes a breakthrough and they become friends. They're made into warriors and become Milkweednose and Fadespots. Then they become mates and she still bullies him but with love

I wonder if Milkweedstar and his brothers do that cross-eyed thing that Siamese cats do.
Here we have Butterflyleap seeing their runty son finally open his eyes (Butterflyleap doesn’t know that Milkweedkit is trans yet because he isn’t old enough to communicate his identifying gender). Being half kittypet, all of the butterflyweed kits develop slower than full-blooded clan kits. Milkweedkit especially lags behind his siblings even, because like Butterflyleap he is the delicate runt of the litter. Also Milkweedstar being himself by risking one of his nine lives for ‘free fish’.
Notes;
Milkweedkit is mostly white in this picture because he is a Siamese like his father, normal Siamese kittens all start out mostly white with a little bit of colour on their noses, ears, and tail. His pelt will darken up once he’s out of the newborn phase.
wc-grassroots had once stated that they liked the idea of the butterflyweed kits all calling them something different since they don’t go by 'mom’ or 'dad’ as a nonbinary cat.
