Mello's opinion on V from V for Vendetta? He's alot like him ironically.

After reading your ask, I watched the movie for the first time and yeah, I get what you mean haha

Matt and Mello totally saw it in the cinema when it came out in 2006. I think Mello wants to be percieved as someone like V but doesn‘t really fit the role. He‘s probably also a big fan of the Assassin‘s Creed "working in the dark to serve the light“ philosophy. V for Vendetta probably had a big impact on his all-black-leather-aesthetic. I can totally see him unironically wearing hats for some time and carriying a shitton of knives and probably even getting a cape for dramatic effect. He wanted to be like V so bad haha! Incredibly cringey and melodramatic but he‘s 16, let him be cringe for a while :‘D

Besides, Mello and Matt both agree that if V was real, he‘d 100% be from Wammy‘s. Unknown identity and single letter as alias? Intelligent, well spoken, high morals, doesn‘t give a shit what the world thinks of him? Intricately planned terroristic attacks on governmental structures for the greater good? Dude, he‘s totally from Wammy‘s, like come on.

Happy birthday Mello

First time seeing myself with a different eye color as him (what is his eye color anyway? I had thought it was green but sometimes it's more blue... Well, light-colored eye people problem)

Mello was my first official cosplay. I have cosplayed him 4 or 5 times in the last 6 years, and done liquid latex makeup twice following the tutorial from KonekoCosplay on youtube.

He was a very important character to me in my teenage years, so when I found that wig by chance I figured I should try.

I barely have photos as him. My Near asked me last year, but I felt too embarrassed.
