My friend got me two day snake pit tickets for Metallica’s Chicago show in 2024. Two shows, two different sets, two different opening acts.
Holy fuck.
I genuinely don’t know how I’m going to react seeing them all so close, especially Kirk. I wanna find his pedal and stand there LOL.
My biggest worry is falling down or even fainting. I’ve had fainting spells since 2011 and I pray that doesn’t happen :’))) how embarrassing would that be :’)))
Metallica won the Grammy for best metal performance, not Ghost. Tobias was late for the event to see his category and didn’t go through the red carpet, definitely the worst Grammy for the best outfit
“I just want to say that Lars, James, and Kirk could not be here because they’re with their families, and families are everything to all of us,” began Trujillo during his acceptance speech. “I live in Southern California, so it’s a little easier.”
He added, “We want to thank Greg Fidelman, our incredible producer, and our recording team. This is like family. When you’re making an album like this, you’re jamming, you’re collaborating. …. Keep those instruments in your hands. Let’s keep the youth making music, and keep the dream alive.”
So glad it's a fresh year. 2023 was up and down for me but so glad I made this blog bc you lot are hilarious. Hope everyone had a fun night last night, even if you were just sleeping like me hehe <3

it's really fucked up to say bc they're like... thrash for boomer dads and I'm their biggest hater (and their biggest lover bc they were the genesis for my identity for the past 14 years of my life) but there's nothing that really hits like metallica
like somehow they're very "generic" thrash but they have such a particular sound that I've never found more of (this is talking about the first 3.5 albums, by the way ajfa is an okay album but the mixing is dogshit and they forgot how to write a song under 7 mins and I'm not that fucking patient)
Step into the recording studio with Lady Gaga! Musician James King shared an exclusive photo, confirming the collaboration with producer Andrew Watt for Gaga's upcoming album.
Adding to the intrigue of Gaga's studio session, her fashion choice spoke volumes.
Paying homage to the legends of metal, Gaga donned a vintage 1991 Metallica tour t-shirt, a rare find that resonates with the band's iconic imagery. The shirt boasts a striking yellow skull, the unmistakable Metallica logo, and a roster of team members, infusing a touch of rock history into the recording space.
