Pegasus Code Lore Basics & Terminology
The Black family is the monarchy of Wizarding Great Britain.
Durning his father’s reign, Pollux Black and his wife Irma had four kids: Walburga, Bellatrix, Cygnus, and Alphard. Their middle daughter Bellatrix Pegasus Black XV was a squib. Normally squibs were killed in the Black family, but she used a flying carpet to flee to a forest near a muggle town.
She survived and changed her name to Beatrice, then started going by her middle name Pegasus. Pegasus married Hugo, a muggle who took her last name. Pegasus, Hugo, and their muggle and muggle-born descendants make up the lost branch of the Black family.
Pollux and Irma Black were the king and queen from 1947 until 1997 when Pollux lost a challenge to his granddaughter Bellatrix Lestrange.
Terminology
Mage: a squib or muggle who uses enchanted items, potions, alchemy, or magical runes to harness magical powers.
Bluemud: a term for a muggle-born who is part of an old pure-blood family due to a squib ancestor. (Combination of the words blue blood and mudblood)
Elemental Magic: the default or raw form someone’s magic takes when not shaped by spells, the type varies between individuals but is usually an “element” such as fire, water, or ice.
Overactive Elemental Magic: a condition where someone’s attempts to cast spells results in the caster’s elemental magic instead of the spell’s desired result. There are varying degrees of severity, from just the first attempts at a spell producing elemental magic to being unable to use spells at all.
Sapphire Flames / Bluebell Flames / Royal Fire: dark blue flames that are the unique elemental magic of the Black family.
Merlinean: a direct descendent of Merlin.
Morganian: a direct descendent of Morgana through Mordred and a member of one of the three Morganian Families.

Merlyn: the Wildman of the Woods
Tumblr media
Master Merlyn, the all powerful Wizard of history whose magick is highly coveted, is actually Myrddhin & is a Welsh God. He is the Lord of Nature, Poetry, Smithcraft, Healing, Knowledge, & Magick. He historically was a Pheryllt Druid & part of the original Dragon Priesthood (a fact few know about because of biased opinions no one asked for). He is MUCH older than the legends make him out to be! Since he is the Lord of Nature he is the God of Druidry (Art of the Oak Knower), and laid down the laws that govern how magick works. The British, Gaulish, & Gaelic Druids gathered at Stonehenge every turn of the season & paid homage to "a God of poetry, magick, & knowledge," and did the same thing upon the discovery of Mistletoe upon an Oak (a very sacred occurrence that was revered with ceremony & a golden sickle). This God was discovered to actually be Myrddhin. He is the Wildman of the Woods who rules over Madness, Revelry, & Liberation, a Title given to him after earning it upon his retreat into the woods after war to reconnect with the Old Gods & rediscover his magick. He is Nature, & we work with Nature as well as enjoy natural pleasures. We are of Merlyn & therefore are Merlyneans. His Staff is the Torch of Knowledge which he uses to light the way through the Shadow into the Light. His Mark is the Faeryblood given to His people being born of Faerie & therefore Changelings. Master Merlyn is the Gnaddr (pronounced NAH-thare) known in our Tradition as the original Dragon-Derwyd. It was He who had the prophecy of the Reg & White Dragons of Pendragon, which represents His connection to the Pheryllt Priesthood. This Draconic association of the Druids was lost long ago, but has always been remembered by the Welsh Bards who have always called Druids "Adders." (This would make that legend of St Patrick much more gruesome) What the Devil/Man In Black is to Traditional Witches, Master Merlyn is to Merlyneans.
If you reverse engineer the name of Merlyn's home, Carmarthen, from it's original name of Caer Myrddhin in Welsh, you eventually get Moridunum. It means "Sea-Fortress" and refers to an ancient name for Great Britain called Albion. This points to the Arthurian side of Master Merlyn. Do the same exact reverse engineering using the rules of the Welsh language with the name Myrddhin & you come up with Moridunos, meaning "He of the Sea-Fortress." This comes up with his Title as the Fortress of Albion. This bit of info comes from John Michael Greer's "The Mysteries of Merlin."
Master Merlyn's Wizardry is probably the most coveted in history due to how powerful he is. I am truly honored to be taught by Master Merlyn, and therefore his child: a Merlynean Wizard. I am a sworn Guardian of the Grimoire of Merlin, and some of the most sought after spells & incantations in history. For this reason the magickal community is after me & often tries to burn me at the stake (VERY hypocritical BTW! But if the world is after me then I take it as a compliment!). Merlyn isn't just an idea or a legend that unites us all, He is our deity & our father, the Father of Faeryblood. He is a Pheryllt Druid & the most powerful Wizard who ever lived.

“ i have cleared my calendar for you ! ” for dave as if he has anything else to be doing given dumbass got no job
The new addition to their world-saving wizard team was... interesting, for lack of a more appropriate word. A man from, supposedly - space - who had shown up out of nowhere and stumbled into Dave’s already weird life. Not that it really bothered him, exactly. Shiro was very... nice. It was just. Baffling? Unusual? Another “hey Dave, you want to try to figure this out?” surprise on top of the whole “by the way, you’re the Prime Merlinean” thing.
So when said new acquaintance showed up at his apartment on a Sunday morning, he’d been half-expecting it. The knock, knock, knock on his apartment door shaking him from his broken sleep.
Dave was used to dreaming of wizards, goblins, knights, science, magic, and awkward younger-self scenarios. That night, he had dreamt of a spaceship inhabited by aliens - and that was, uh - not normal. They had given off an aggressive vibe, but, luckily most on the ship hadn’t noticed him watching them (almost like he’d been observing from a different dimension). The one who had noticed him, though - at the very end of his dream?
Dave couldn’t seem to shake their glowing eyes from his brain.
“Alright, alright, I’m awake,” He whisper-shouted at the second round of knocks, before one hand fumbled to open the door. The excitement in Shiro’s voice made his eyebrows rise, and he took a step back to let the other through. “Oh... thank you?” Dave responded, one hand sliding across the top of his head. “How did you... Did someone, uh... let you in the front door?”
The one downstairs. That was locked. Unless someone a) buzzed you in, or b) let you in with their own keys.

A Druid's Majik
Druidry is the Arte of the Druid. "Druid" means "to know the Oak" and in Celtic spirituality, the Oak represents the Tree of Life & Knowledge. Given the 3 Grades our majik is rooted in Poetry & involves drawing upon elemental, Elfae, & deific energies. Merlinean Druidic majik (An Wyn Emrys) is based on the color spectrum: Red & Orange (Alchemy), Yellow (Writing/Poetry), Green (Wortcunning & Treecraft), Blue (Glamouryie), Indigo (Time & Otherworld), and Brown (Shapeshifting, Gem Sorcery, & Mirror Majik). These are the things that make up my Craft: Glamouryie is my base, Storytelling/Poetry is my focus, Alchemy is my goal, Wortcunning & Treecraft via the Elvish Ogham is incorporated into the Poetry aspect, Animalcraft is part of the Therionick aspect of Neuromancy, Mirror Majik is a form of Glamouryie, Time Travel is an aspect of Mirror Majik, & Otherworld is from where I originate.

I'm Back
Okay so I'm just gonna use this Tumblr from here on out. I am Danirak, Journeyman Merlinean Wizard specializing in Wandulurgy/Stavulurgy & Apothekurgy (Potioncraft). I am classically trained in a magickal Druidic tradition called An Wyn Emrys, and have been since I was 10. I am also half Nobyndar Elf, half human by genetics. I believe in Evolution & reincarnation. My magick is rooted in Storytelling via the Ogham, which is I specialize in Wandulurgy & Apothekurgy. In ancient Druidic lore, a Staff was dual purpose. It was carved with Ogham fews for purposes of Storytelling as well as a majikal tool. I will be posting about An Wyn Emrys, & a bit about my magick as well.

An Carow Gwyn
I have been reading the book An Carow Gwyn by Robin Artisson! My family has always had SERIOUS undertones of ancient Faerii Witchcraft despite most being Xrstian. I noticed this when I was about 13 or so asking why my grandmother had an iron horseshoe above her door. Her response was "because it keeps bad things out." I didn't understand until I started reading about old Faerii Faith beliefs of Scotland & Ireland. The Elfae (known to steal children in lore) are highly allergic to iron. So the energy of iron wards them away from homes protecting them. Only problem I have with that is I am half Elf so it always made me uneasy going in that house. Reading the book I mentioned earlier makes everything make sense to me! It made me realize that depsite my family's heavy Xrstian overtones, the core of my family's beliefs is and has always been Faerii Faith. I realized that I was raised in Faerii Faith (my mom keeping the windows slightly open when we were kids, leaving small plates of food out then throwing it away the next day, the family constantly referring to "Mother Nature", etc). This also explains why I have always been able to see the earth energy of trees & plants, feel energized during a thunderstorm, & have a strong affinity for wizardry. Merlin first appeared to me when I was 10 years old in the book Wizardology: Book of the Secrets of Merlin by Dugald Steer. Merlin has been with me my entire life! Why? Because according to ancient Faery lore, Merlin is a variation of the King of Faeries. He wanted me to see him in that light which is why he chose Dugald Steer's book to reveal himself to me (it has heavy overtones of Faerii Faith). An Carow Gwynn means "The White Stag" and refers to ancient Celtic beliefs about animistic faery beings, or as the New Age calls them, "the Gods." The White Stag is the King of Faeries across all of Keltia. Merlin is but one variation. It is through An Carow Gwyn & An Wyn Emrys (the correct name of Merlynean Wizardry) that I am awakening my ancestral religion within me & remembering WHY I was put here during this time. Yes, I still believe in Evolution. What I mean personally by "put here" is what the Shining Ones ("Elfae") have helped me decide that my life's purpose is. My purpose is to be creative & use my artistic abilities for majikal purposes.

The Magick of Spiderowl the Grey!
As many of you know, I'm a Merlinean Wizard. But what type of magick do I use? Here is the answer to that:
Druidic 💙 That's right! My path is that of the ancient Druid. In reality tho, my path is a European Wizard (Druid) of the Merlynean Tradition. Have you ever read the Wizardology Trilogy? The basis of the Merlynean Tradition is in those books. Before you laugh & disregard my posts as nonsense, here me out. The Wizardology Handbook & its predecessor Guide to the Wizards of the World perfectly map out the path of the European Wizard. We work with Nature Magick, Druidry, Faerii Faith, Elven Magix, Forest Magick, etc. You get the idea. This is obviously rooted in the path of the ancient Druids of Celtica.
For thousands of years, the Druidic Tradition of Wizardry has remained in tact in the Occult Underground. The last "true Druid" was none other than Emrys Myrddhin of Avalon, aka Master Merlin. His secret teachings & Druidic magix were preserved & eventually brought back to the surface by Dugald Steer who edited the original books & created the Wizardology Trilogy. Merlin was the most famous & powerful of all Historical Wizards. I am his successor, a Prime Merlinean. Once his Apprentice, now a Journeyman in the Tradition. This Title is given only to those who decode the encyption spell cast upon the Liberae Merlinae Arcanus & its predecessors to reveal the Merlyean Tradition. We are the Keepers of the Tradition & its secrets.
My Craft as a European Wizard mimics that of the Celtic Faerii Faith & Elven Magix of the Seelie Court. I practice these Magix as a European Wizard: Nature, Faerii, Starcraft, Runic (Prime Base), Elven/Forest, Triskellion (Land-Sea-Sky, Secondary Base), Folk, Bardic (Storytelling, Third Base), Ovatic, & Druidic.
My lineage began in ancient Celtica with the introduction of the Druids from the ancient Tribe Tuatha d'Anu. I have this lineage spiritually through Merlin himself. The Wizardology Trilogy does *not* make up the entirety of the Tradition, only a small fraction of it. Each of us (few & far between but connected through secret networks) have an Encantus & a Grimoire of our learnings in the Tradition. Not ready just yet to teach the Tradition to Apprectices but very soon I will be. I just have to bring all these teachings back up in my memory & put it in my Encantus. This could take awhile.
