Age Range: 20 - 33
Species: Full sibling would be a witch by birth (Rohan’s parents are full witches). The half sibling would be witch or human, depending on the non-shared parent’s lineage. Either could have been otherwise turned.
Suggested FCs: Rohan is Indo-Guyanese. For full-blooded siblings, Rebecca Ablack is my FC’s actual sister, so that could be fun. Other suggestions include Melinda Shankar or Avi Nash. For half-siblings, Sean Sagar, Nick Sagar, or Jacob Scipio.
Connection Description:
My character, Rohan Persaud, a witch, was adopted and raised by a human couple in Maine, USA and learned of his magical nature later in life.
He has younger biological siblings whom he has never met (who may or may not know each other), but you mostly have complete creative freedom about them, their parents, and their upbringing. The first WC filled will determine the narrative, and this post will be updated to reflect their backstory.
Rohan’s own birth parents likely have ties to New England or to nearby Canada.
The circumstances of Rohan’s adoption are largely up to you with how you envision your character’s parents’ story. Young star-crossed lovers not ready to raise a child who later got back together? Witches under attack who hid their firstborn baby among mortals? Was the half sibling the result of an affair or a new relationship? Were they born in the interim and grew up with their brother or sister? The possibilities are open!
Also open is how much your characters know of Rohan. Did they track him down to Lunar Cove? Is his existence a surprise? Has fate brought them together? Your character would not be a local or coven member, as they and Rohan do not yet know of each other.

BACKGROUND:
Rohan Persaud, a witch, was raised by mortal adoptive parents and knows nothing of his origins. This wanted connection, whose specific details are largely UTP, is for his full younger sibling, who was raised by his birth mother and father (or one or the other), and whom he is meeting for the first time.
Said sibling would be:
A witch by birth, likely originally from a coven in New England (Rohan was raised in Maine) or Canada (such as Quebec or New Brunswick). They could have been turned to another species at the player's discretion.
Not a member of the New York City coven.
Likely just arriving in New York for the first time, since they and Rohan have not yet run into each other.
The details of Rohan's adoption are not set fully in stone, and I am open to player input on how your character may have been raised. Some potential (but not the only) options include:
Parents who were simply not ready for a baby. Although their coven would have raised the child collectively, they did what they thought best at the time but later stayed together and had another child
Parents who were star-crossed lovers (perhaps rival covens or one coven-less and one not). Afraid their child would be rejected, they did what they thought best but likewise later had another child together
Parents involved in an external conflict (an inter-coven conflict, a conflict with another species or humans, etc.) With Rohan the most vulnerable child of their ranks at the time, they did what they thought best to protect him, hiding him among mortals.
Everything else is really up to you, including how and why your character has come to NYC. Maybe they are tracking down Rohan. Maybe fate or magic has brought them together. Maybe Rohan finally decides to do his own tracking spell using a lock of his own hair and finds his sibling has been right under his nose.

Mowgli Sethi ~ Shanti’s classmate. She finds him irritating yet intriguing. He’s a wild card in her perfectly planned routine, and she isn’t entirely sure what to make of him. She’s drawn to him in a way that frightens her, especially because she has no idea what will happen if she actually becomes his friend.
Balu Varma ~ Shanti thinks it’s weird that Mowgli spends so much of his time with this older guy, and she’s fairly certain he’s a bad influence on Mowgli. She believes he’s the one encouraging the wildness in Mowgli and that everything would be better if Mowgli listened to his guardian Baji more often.

STEP 1: Decide on a FC you wish to create resources for! You can always do more than one but who are you starting with? There are links to masterlists you can use in order to find them and if you want help, just send us a message and we can pick one for you at random!
STEP 2: Pick what you want to create! You can obviously do more than one thing, but what do you want to start off with? Screencaps, RP icons, GIF packs, masterlists, PNG’s, fancasts, alternative FC’s - LITERALLY anything you desire!
STEP 3: Look back on tasks that we have created previously for tutorials on the thing you are creating unless you have whatever it is you are doing mastered - then of course feel free to just get on and do it. :)
STEP 4: Upload and tag with #TASKSWEEKLY! If you didn’t use your own screencaps/images make sure to credit where you got them from as we will not reblog packs which do not credit caps or original gifs from the original maker.
