honestly i have no idea how to answer, cause there's way too many possible routes and FGO is so unfocused in regard to this stuff that I don't know what the intended direction should/would be.

Like on the one hand Gawain will specifically be more flirtatious with Gudako but (afaik) none of the other 'womanizer' servants are like that, and meanwhile you'd think if that warranted something then there'd DEFINITELY need to be something about Gudako being unaffected by Diarmuid's love spot but nope.

Then there's the mess of historically married figures. There's like at least 3 categories those fall into. Tomoe's husband is constantly mentioned but never actually appears, you have the ones where both parties are present and clearly in love like Sigurd-Bryn or Xiang-Yu-Mei-Ren, but then you also have shit like what they pulled with Cleopatra where despite both being present they blatantly expect you to waifu cleopatra, the list goes on.

You can't establish a system or rule on how to handle this if you never treat anything with consistency. Either make it so every is bi/pan/poly and romance is just expected, or do the persona 4 thing of focusing entirely on characterization until the very end where you can choose to take it in a more romantic direction for specific characters who clearly telegraph that possibility.

Bio: Of the many children of the Fujimaru family. There are six the stand out as being a special case due to their relationships with each other, or more specifically, the parents and their connection to the Land of Paradise and Hope. The two children of Morgan: Timothy and Calisto, the two children of Castoria: Cayde and Alina, and finally, the kids of both the male and female Merlin. Through this loose connection, they are known as the “Children of Avalon”.

With the birth of Emerys, the power balance settled. With one boy and girl for each “person” associated with Avalon. Naturally, alliances and relationships vary. And on a spectrum of responsible to troublemaking, the Morgan kids occupy one end, the Castoria kids occupy the other, with the Merlin kids somewhere in the middle.

When compared to his “sister”/cousin Myriam, Emerys is a natural strategist with a diverse set of skills that makes him unpredictable. Emerys on the other hand is an all around who uses elemental magecraft as well as dream magic that he learned from his father.

Emerys likes to accessorize, to an often unnecessary degree. He carries things in his coat that he generally does not need, from things like mystic codes, to a small magnet. The most obvious example of this is him owning multiple staffs. Rather than use a single staff for all his spell casting, he has around 6 that corresponds to a specific element or magecraft. But since he can’t carry them all at once, he had a special vault made where he keeps them, and has the ability to send the specific staff he needs anytime he calls.

However, once it was learned that his staffs he made were all just ripoffs of one that already existed. The owners fo the originals were less flattered by these imitations and more slighted by them.

There is a reason why Da Vinci won’t allow him in her workshop.

i have a headcanon that gudako and gudao have different love languages. i think gudako’s is “spending quality time” and gudao’s is “carrying out kind acts”.

i just imagine gudako after summoning each servant, spending some good quality time with them over the span of a week or two. the two go from being strangers to having a well understanding for each other. she has a way with words and doesnt push unnecessary boundaries. this sometimes includes just sitting in a comfortable silence with each other

meanwhile gudao does his best to make the servant feel right at home. he brings back things that he knows certain servants would want when he goes out on missions. no doubt, in chaldea headquarters he was constantly making sure his servants had a proper lounge/relaxing area available. he lends a hand without asking and often times does things for others and doesnt tell anyone (just so he doesnt have to be thanked for it).

i can just imagine them both having so much genuine care and love for their servants that they just do these things out of real excitement. and not excited bc they’re meeting a historical figure, but bc they get a chance to meet another interesting individual who they get to go on adventures with.

Report Writing (Gudako, Arjuna)

It was raining.

Gudako glanced over at the servant in her ‘office’, the man flipping quietly through the pages of the novel on his lap. He had one leg bent and lying on the other, holding his book in place as he kept an arm perched upon the arm and his eyes trained on what he was reading. Whatever illuminative read he was in the midst of, it seemed he was oblivious to this.

This, of course, was torture to the nth degree.

Not that Arjuna seemed to pay any heed to her suffering. He’d simply promised Mash to assist in making sure that she got her report about London done and had all but shoved her into this office. He claimed it as hers with a small pillow from her room. He’d plopped her down into the desk chair. Then, once that was done, he’d pat her head, grabbed that book after perusing the shelves, and now was like this.

Meanwhile, here she was, looking through half of what she had written.

We went to London. The queen didn’t seem to be home. Tea still tastes like dried grass in water. Servants were snarky. We beat them. We got the grail.

How incredibly detailed~.

She could already imagine the resulting response she’d get from Da Vinci and Romani if she turned this in. The two would glance to one another and then Da Vinci would probably rip this paper in half and tell her to go back to this seat and write a proper report.

The only issue was- How was she supposed to do that?

She’d gone with Mash and Arjuna. They’d gotten separated in the fog. She’d found herself shivering and Arjuna had stolen a cloak for her to wear. They’d meandered the streets, hunkering down finally in a parklike area.

From there…

Well…

“You’re cold still?”

Gudako nodded softly, glancing over at her servant. “A little. This is such a shitty situation. I can’t believe I caught a cold in the middle of a singularity.”

“It happens, I suppose,” Arjuna replied, closing his eyes a moment before he was pulling her in. His warmth permeated the blankets, drawing her person against his chest. She could feel his heart beating away softly beneath his chest. Her eyes drifted up to meet his before finding him a little closer to her face than expected.

“Sorry-“

“I think this is the first time you’ve ever apologized.” The man smirked a little. “You should just forget seeing me this close. I am your favorite servant, but I will only break that spirit of yours.”

The man loomed over her though, his face close to her own. Those eyes met hers, refusing to look away until she found he wasn’t waiting for such a thing from her. He was hesitating.

His lips found her own as the light drizzle of rain pattered down around them. As the warmth of his lips heated her own, she found the white noise of the rainfall deepening, growing slowly louder as the rain gave them the privacy to hold one another closer. Her fingers had found the white fabric of his clothing for purchase. Her head had tilted to give her more access. Within moments, she was overwhelmed, drowning in the intoxicating musk and allure of-

“I can’t do this,” Gudako groaned again, banging her head against the desk.

“You’ll be fine, bandar,” the man nearby replied.

“Hmm? What was that?”

“I said, you will be fine, monkey.” He glanced up from his book. “I had warned you that you would be enamored. You said you could handle it. Do your work. Afterwards, I will humor you as promised with more details about the festival of colors.”

Oh right.

Had they made agreements for this work getting done?

Arjuna’s lips moved a little harder against her own, his hand stroking across her cheek as he cupped her face in his hands. The softest of whimpers left her lips…

Gudako sighed.

“…Can you get me Mash’s report to look at so our details are in line with one another?”

She’d copy half of what she wrote to make this faster.

Also, speaking of Beni cooking, imagine if she makes it her mission to make Lilia's food edible. Also, why do I have the feeling that Kingu will either see Yuu as a mother figure, or a Big Sister/Sibling figure, because either one would be adorable. Beni can’t taste food, so she can legitimately eat Lilia’s food without worrying about the taste, but that won’t stop her from getting him to cook something edible for others that go beyond his own fae tastes. She’ll probably roast him and he’ll playfully jab back and it’s just Lilia straight up adopting another child.

Momthership ended with Tiamat after the Lahmu, now Yuu (ewe) is Kingu’s new mom.

Meanwhile Enkidu and Gilgamesh just look at Kingu like he’s some sort of combination of the two of them, due to Kingu’s red eyes, and appearance resembling Enkidu (who in turn, based their looks off Shamhat). I notice anothe nice contrast between Melu and Vorti and their destined person. Melusine, the dragon, does everything to make sure Aurora's dreams come true. Meanwhile, the moment Vorti saw Gudako on the beach, he just knew she will make all of his dreams come true. Melu did everything for her destined person, whereas Vorti's destined person did everything for him. Well, not really, Vorti also worked to the bone to make sure Britain falls but still, the contrast is there.
