had an odd dream that i was reading a comic book. sketched a couple of the pages i could remember.

#i might adapt this into an actual story because i am SO SO SO mad that it isn't a thing i can go back to reading #oc #im definitely keeping the concept of save-bot i fucking love save-bot he's just doing his best. i love a robot who wants to help people #im not equipped to be writing about underground rebellions with any sense of real tact though #besides its in a superhero universe/story so you know it would just be so sucks lol #sketch #god the colors were so interesting. the teal parts were all very precisely crosshatched and the fire was this gorgeous brush pen looking #colored inks that just seemed like they were MOVING #and i mean some of that was because i was dreaming but god even in my halfhearted copy you can see some of the movement #it was a bad scene but a really really REALLY fun dream. i love when a book can *get* to me so i was really enjoying it #put it aside so i could take a break and woke up. instant fury at the universe for not having it be a real book instead #ill reblog with details if anyone's curious. i can explain this scene but i dont feel like it #the green people are in a secret basement though. hiding from the government. blue jacket guy is a speedster robot named save-bot who does #rescue stuff with every fire department so fire suppression technology is not very good because save-bot "can just save you'' #however they're badly over their legal occupancy and the secret basement has One (1) exit so everyone is like really fucked here. #includinig save-bot who is going to do his job until he dies because he is an ai without any sense of self preservation and he cares #which i didn't even CATCH until i woke up and started tryin to frantically note everything down #and then i was like wait. the glitter on that last page before i realized i needed a glass of water to keep reading... what WAS that... #(it was tears suspended in midair because save-bot goes so fast and also knows he's so fucked LOL) #seriously i'm so mad someone else didn't make this.

So. I NEED TO TALK ABOUT Q!QUACKITY RIGHT NOW. 

I’ll try my best to stay in order but my brain goes all over the place. So, It really seems that quackity was confined in water for like 3 months. But I really think some things have happened to him because of how he is behaving. 

He sounds sickly, he seems lost, confused, maybe even a bit scared (we’ll get to that). I am trying to think about if he didn’t want to follow Cucurucho. 

The stuff with Cucurcho. It was making him do some tests of some sorts? It made him go on a treadmill that he was practically begging to not have to do. He seems really physically weak, but it may be something else as well. It made him press buttons on the corresponding color, not sure what that is about. Then it showed him the pictures.

The duck appeared, and he freaked out, and huddled over in the corner. Why? What happened to him to make him so scared of the duck? This is why I think maybe there was a point where he was not in the water. But we need to know more I think.

The final test is interesting. Cucurucho made him paint what he saw on some ink blot images. During this, it handed him a picture of the duck, to which he responded by once again becoming fearful. This is the thing that really interests me about all of this.

And then Quackity made it out. This is where things get weird. It seems the only thing Quackity is able to type is “when is the party” or “what time is it” things like that. Everything else is illegible when he types it. This is fascinating to me. I have seen people theorize he possibly has aphasia, and looking into it I agree. 

I am glad the three (baghera, forever, and bbh) are concerned for his well being. I especially like baghera here. She said “I dont think you should be alone” he said “why” and she responded, “you’ve been alone for a while”. Baghera you’re amazing

Also, he was only speaking in Spanish the whole time, but that could be just because it was a spanish stream. We’ll see.

He burned all of his stuff in lava, and then just… started playing minecraft? (right after hitting a bucket clutch without thinking. how.) He went into a village and just started getting basic resources. Why? And then he just logged out? 

Another thing is the tweets about him from official qsmp accounts have been using a chess piece emoji. This is intentional 100%. 

So overall I just really, really want to know what the fuck happened to this man, and if he really remembers nothing. What did that little duck do to him.

(not like u dont see them often anyway hehe) she's buff--still somewhat lean. but when her arm flexes to adjust her sleeves, oh god. you could probably die happily. her flesh almost ripples as she instinctively flexes her arms. you see beautiful black ink along her arms too. you suck in a breath standing there, eyes widening. everything feels warm. she glances at you, and you do a tiny wave, "hello. ryomen." you whisper, as her eyes sparkle. (you remember on a warm, spring day as you and sukuna are under a large willowy, tree. the birds chirp, you knew sukuna wasn't fond of them until you came around. she lets them live upon your insistence that you enjoy the presence and the cute chippering. you ask her how she got them. her tattoos. she grins at you, baring her teeth, and tells you how they're marks of her power. she pulls you even closer, letting your face nuzzle her chest. thump, thump, thump; her heart goes.) you press a chaste kiss to her heart and hum affectionately ........ you ask uraume for the truth later that day. you know sukuna well enough to tell it was a lie of some kind...but you let her have her moment of glory, rather liking her eyes squinting and teeth baring when she smiles. (blood adorning her canines or not) after a bit of begging, they reluctantly explain the tattoos are really from her time of imprisonment as a mortal from heinous crimes there, slaughter that . they murmer quietly that sukuna told you otherwise because she wanted to impress you, show off her strength... (you think it's very cute for someone as powerful as her, in her current prime, and with absolute dominion over cursed spirits to feel the want to impress you.) and to not tell her they told you anything unless you wanted a block of ice for breakfast the following morning. the queen of curses feeling the need to lie in order to impress some random little human is so cute i'm gonna die!! why can i see her playing up her fights to once she's finally returned home. the fight could have been some minor thing, one that hardly required her presence, and it could have lasted no more than a minute, and yet she's spinning it into some grand tale because she likes the way your eyes seem to sparkle as you listen, and how you ooh and ahh over every little detail.

how did you learn to draw? Would you recommend any classes or certain resources? do you have any tips, general or hyperspecific or anywhere in between, other than "just practice"?

sorry to bombard you with questions. I'm just a frustrated amateur artist trying desperately to improve, so I'm asking around some of the artists i particularly like.

I learned to draw by bashing my head on my desk for several hours, which means practice (sorry,) and also by staring intently at artists I like, trying to 'steal' how they draw some things

I never followed a class online, so I wouldn't be able to give out recommendations for those, and I haven't actually looked up an art tutorial online in years so I can't remember anything, but here's a few resources/general tips under the cut

RESOURCES

haven't used this myself, but my teachers during the first year at comic school mentioned proko as a good YT channel for beginners

quickposes - useful for gesture drawing, I acc use this one when I feel like I need to draw but dont have any ideas

I know some people use designdoll for poses as well, I never used it myself because I tend to use the csp models for that, but if you don't have csp, I think it's a good alternative

coolors - for color palettes

adorkastock - more poses! I don't check it anymore at this point but it was my first actual 'art landmark' when I was a kid and I needed to find some poses, I could always rely on their photoshoots

I'm not linking any tutorials because, as I said, I haven't looked up any online in 10+ years, but I used to watch a lot of speedpaints as a teen, and it should be fairly easy to find decent tutorials on YT at this point;

GENERAL TIPS

if you have a sketchbook, please don't let the internet make you believe every single page has to be a masterpiece, that attitude is gonna break you

not everything will be a hit piece and thats ok

when shading, avoid pure black

experiment with styles!

when inking, you shouldn't move just your wrist but use your elbow as well! also rotate your canvas, both when doing traditional art and digital

true to traditional and digital art as well - flip the canvas to see the art mirrored and find mistakes (for traditional you can hold up the paper to a source of light and look at it from the back)

use references whenever possible

what works for another artist might not work for you ( re my ink tip: I follow that, but I know a couple mutuals don't do that and their art still slaps and looks clean and crisp)

when drawing a full illustration with a background, work on the background perspective first and THEN add the character,, this should be basic knowledge but my idiot ass actually processed this info only a few years ago

learn how to use perspective grids asap, dont be like me

rule of thirds is always useful to keep in mind

Ahh thank you! I very much feel like I’m still developing my art style if I’m being honest 😅

Unfortunately the answer is what everyone else says:

-drawing regularly (I’ve been drawing almost daily for 3 ish years, and I improved much faster in that time than I had over the past 5 ish years where I was not regularly drawing)

- REFERENCE even if u don’t think u need it. Just having a picture of the Thing in the corner of your vision will improve your drawing. My art is always, without fail, better if I have a reference.

-drawing exercises: figure drawing, life drawing, 30 second sketches, 1 minute sketches ect. It looks SO UGLY at first but the more you do the stronger your shape language will become.

basically all the stuff they force you to do in art school (that’s what u pay all that money for… some old guy to shame u when u don’t do ur life drawings). Change how you approach your sketches, try different mediums/brushes ect. Recently ive been sketching in silhouettes rather than lines, which has rewired my brain, and my shape language has gotten so much better. DONT BE AFRAID TO MAKE UGLY ART in fact everyone should make as much ugly art as possible. For each good drawing u gotta do 10 uglies. Try to learn a new technical skill once in a while, like color theory or using line weights or procreate/photoshop skills…. U don’t need to know everything all at once but as u learn and add those skills to ur art u will see it improve (sounds crazy I know). Hit up TikTok or YouTube for art tutorials…. If you don’t know how to draw something, look up how! (Insane that it took me like 10 years of art to start watching art tutorials. Unrelated, I can now draw trees and foliage with ease)

Remember, if you feel stuck or blocked, go back to your technical skills. Draw an apple. Sketch some people. Render a 3d sphere. Practice shadows and perspective.

Personally I’ve been trying to exaggerate my shapes and simplifying my designs. I’ve been using the Oberon brush for blocking colors and the dry ink brush for linework.

And, honestly, don’t feel like you need to tie yourself down to one “style”, you may find that pushing and experimenting with anything you find fun or interesting might be where u find it, u know?

''Be outside in 5 rebekah, i am on my way.'' I spoke to my bestfriend on the phone. In 2 weeks my daugher, Stormi, is going to primary school for the first time. We needed a bag, pencil case, some new clothes, and a lunchbox.

I walked out of my house with my daughter walking a few steps behind me. ''c'mon stormi'' As i offered her my hand which she happily accepted. Rebekah stood already with her car on my driveway.

i buckled my daughters seat belt and went to the front to sit in the passanger seat. ''HI bitch'' ''Hi bitch'' that was the way we always greet eachother. ''So, mall i assume?'' She asked me. ''No, the farm. Ofcourse the mall i told you not even 5 minutes ago dumbass.'' telling her sarcastically

We talked for a bit. But what means driving with eachother but not listening our favorite song? I opened spotify and connected bluetooth with the car.

We arrived at H&M. They had a lot of choice here. I just brought my creditcard, There are tons of cash on it. So we were going to get more then one outfit obviously. ''Oo, i really like that skirt.'' Showing Rebekah the skirt that i found. She looked back at me with a face of 'bitch are you fr?' ''Y/n, thats the ugliest skirt i've ever seen. Put it away.'' I felt offended. I always buy these sort of skirts. ''She always wears skirts like this!'' Turning back to look at me, she answered me with a simple ''Yes, thats why i always change her clothes when im at yours.''

After hours of shopping in different designer stores, we finally found everything. We only didn't have a Lunchbox, and a pencil case with pencils. I mean, she has tons of colored pencils, markers, normal pencils, pens, all of those. But, when she goes to a new school, i prefer buying new ones for her. Because some of her pencils dont have ink in it anymore. ''Im kind of hungry, lets settle down in a cute restaurant.'' Rebekah offered. You and Stormi made pancakes this morning, so you guys weren't really hungry trough the day. But it was already 4 o' clock, so some food at the moment wasn't bad. ''Actually, i am desperate on shrimps atm. Lets go to Casapela.'' Casapela was a very nice restaurant. It was one of my favorites in whole New Orleans. I order food or eat there with Stormi very often. '' I could've guessed that, y/n. Because as we all know, Shrimps are your favorite.'' She said annoyed. She HATES shrimps. And when i say hate, i mean HATE.

We got a table and there was this really nice bartender. It was flirting with Rebekah the whole time. Like ''And what would you like, gorgeous?'' where Rebekah answered on ''I want french fries, with chickentenders, please.'' Getting lost in his Green eyes.

''Ooh, is auntie Rebekah in love?'' Stormi said basically making fun of her. We both laughed at her. ''Ye, is Auntie bekah not single anymore?'' I answered making my daughter even laughing harder.

Rebekah sighed in annoyance. ''Stop it, both of u. I dont even know his name, or his age. So shut it.'' Me and my daughter gave eachother that look what really said 'this bitch be saying bullshit'

''Hey pretty, here is your order. Hope you enjoy it.'' The bartender said winking at Rebekah. Walking away getting probably our plates. On his Nameplate stood 'Lucas'. ''Rebekah, did u saw that? His name is Lucas.'' ''So what? i dont care.'' She replied looking back at her plate.

''I think you are just scared to admit it.'' Stormi said, looking at her. ''Listen, im not scared to admit it okay? And you like davey, so shut it Storm.'' Davey was a son of one of my friends. We would go out with eachother bringing the kids along. She was so in love with him. Since the day we never stopped bullying her about it.

''Thats mean, Bekie.'' She always said that to rebekah to annoy the crap out of her. She hated that name. ''Go Stormi girl!'' Supporting my daughter.

The plates of me and my daughter came. After that we went to Walmart, to get the pencil case and all.

''Mommy, i really like this one.'' My daughter looking up to me. In her hand she had a pink pencil case with a samll unicorn on it. ''You want that one Sweety?'' i asked her. ''I cant choose, i also like the other one we just saw.'' The other one was all white with a tiny lama on it.''You know what, lets get both of them.'' She smiled happily ''Yay!''

We found everything she needed. We went back to our house with Rebekah following us. ''Can we watch Elsa and Anna? please mommy?'' The second time this week. the second, i repeat. ''Uhm sure, but dont you want to watch something else?'' she shook her head. ''No, i want to watch Elsa mommy.'' ''Okay, here let me put it on.''

Rebekah went to her guest bedroom (the bedroom she basically owns) And changed into her onesie. We bought matching when we were in Disneyland with Stormi. She has Olaf, i have Anna, And Stormi has Elsa, ofcourse.

We watched the movie and went to bed. Stormi was laying next to me, peacefully sleeping on her tummy. ''I love you Stormi, always remember that.'' i wispered in her ear, giving her cheek a small kiss.

So I originally thought that the scientist Inky that talks to Blob before the mutant Inky boss fight was just a random one that was interested in studying Blob. rightfully so because I would want to research him too if I was on the losing side of the war. like tell me your secrets magic man

But they're the same person

Mutated Ink was Von's lil project that he was working on for,, quite a bit of time really. he wanted to impress Comrade, his superior, with something that could change the war forever

Of course, this meant holing himself up in his lab as he worked, making him miss the entirety of the first war and therefore missing his chance to show Comrade the fruits of his labor. he had no knowledge of anything that was happening until Blob fucking jumpscared him by falling into his lab Undertale style

I think surviving that rocket is a miracle in and of itself, I would imagine that the mutated ink that caused him to turn into de Blot probably came off in the explosion and he turned back to normal

something something the explosion had color energy in it and with him already being in a weakened state the mutated ink came off

the one difference between him and Comrade is the fact that Von lost due to his temper, and Comrade lost due to his arrogance. Von started this wanting to impress someone who was off doing something else entirely and had no knowledge of anything happening in Chroma

speaking of what was happening in Prisma I think Von went over there asap after hearing about what was going on

he was so caught up with his research and being "de Blot" that he had no knowledge of Comrade's shenanigans in Prisma

he was involved in the creation of the Spikeys and the updated versions of the Elites, and I think that would've gotten him a bit more attention from Comrade, which is WHAT HE WANTED IN THE FIRST PLACE

like, imagine being noticed by your idol after like. what. 5 years?

i think he'd try again with the mutated ink because it was successful in its own right and he, again, thought that it would help them out in the war

with it being so close to the end of the war though, and with the Raydians starting to revolt, I would like to think he gave up on it again and discarded it

HOWEVER.

i like to think that the mutant Inky was a product of this. with him discarding the batch of mutated ink he was working on perhaps some inkies thought that it was a misplaced shipment of ink that needed to be put in the factory

and then boom! confused ink monster fucking up everything

now obviously Blob and co. dont recognize Von because he's not a blob anymore (outside of Pinky)

but von CLEARLY remembers them and of course, hates their fucking guts

SOMETHING ELSE I THOUGHT OF. very quickly before i end the post

he def had something to do with the Blancs. if I remember correctly regular ink will kill anything it touches, including Raydians (no so fun fact: if you roll over a raydian while you are inked, the raydian dies), but in the DS game the mayor gets hit with a glob of what I'm guessing is mutated ink, and he was just annoyed

mutated ink is still ink, but i guess it's not as corrosive as regular ink is? after all, it is mutated ink, it explains why the Blancs look the way they do. they've mutated into something.. unholy

i think comrade would've told him about his plans. his plans to take over Prisma and the world, and bring the raydians to their knees. ok lemme explain, [tho if you dont wanna read all this just skip to the images in the end that i posted of my dumb self made and modified brushes] i have always used different mediums in my art~ ive used SAI, Gimp 2, CSP and occasionally Photoshop for the effects, filters and some brushes~ and i almost never remember where i downloaded them from because, first off, they were free anyway and i also almost always change them to fit my style beyond recognition to how they originally looked by default XDDD

MOST of my work is usually with SAI with almost the only brush i use in general for everything [ Inking, Coloring the edges, Shading, Lighting, and most other hand drawn shapes and hatching and etc ] is used with these settings. i never change it because i had years of experimenting to finally be comfortable with these and i will die a painful death if anything happens to my laptop before i could save these settings so i keep it in my art files just in case lmao~ [i do NOT like change and trying new stuff is2g i need therapy-]

HOWEVER when it comes to CSP i have had..... very depressing progress yay :D ... SAI in my experience has been a bit sucky in being able to handle large sizes and layers or anything else and having the possibility of crashing but the way it makes some things easy has been a MIRACLE for my lazy ass, i might have given up art before i ever even started if SAI didn't exist, but as how all EASY things usually are they start lacking in variety after a while, and i realized since one of my friends had bought me a CSP a long time ago, heck i might as well use it and oh my GOD the anxiety it induced ended me up with an IV and several trips to the hospital for injections to calm me down [and potentially temporarily blinding me] im not even joking. i mean yeah i was going through stuff back then that did NOT help my situation in general but the fact that CSP doubled my anxiety cuz i just couldn't draw with it made me have several existential breakdowns where i thought i will never be able to improve my art as a self proclaimed artist anymore because i had gotten so used to only working with what i found PERFECTLY comfortable to my own tastes that im just useless at getting used to anything else... so what happened was that i went on the most violent weekly spree of downloading any brush i could that even resembled REMOTELY to what i wanted- i also searched for brushes on tumblr or google or anywhere else- i watched so many CSP transition videos on youtube my brain was spinning and i was on a rout of self destructive agony to make this WORK. so now i have a bajillion downloaded brushes and all of them have spawned 20 other copies that i have aggressively modified beyond any sort of resemblance to what they used to be- it doesn't help that the file names and the brush names are different so i cant search for them either 😑

but if the brush names could help you in finding them uhhh, heres like.... 1/10th of the brushes i downloaded and modified that i actually did NOT go back and delete because they are fun to have around XD

I took your basic grade school classes and one semester of a basic art class in college.

Plants, moths, butterflies, birds, cats, human models, Ryou Bakura. XD

LEGS. Actually the whole waist, hip, buttock, leg, foot unit. Took me a decade to get arms and hands to look "acceptable" in my eyes. It's gonna take another decade. So maybe by the time I'm 50 it'll be acceptable to me.

All the time. References are my everything because I don't have a good memory bank of how things fit or flow together or even how physics work together. Images in my mind are always just sketches.

Big has always been difficult for me. Actually my professor gave me a whole personal lecture to not be afraid of the paper and draw BIG. He once took my hand and charcoal and like a parent teaching their kid to write letters, he planted down the base lines of my self portrait, and said "DRAW BIG. SKETCH BIG. DON'T BE AFRAID OF THE PAPER. I KNOW YOU CAN DRAW WELL. DRAW BIG! NO MORE OF THIS ITTY BITTY FLIP BOOK SHIT! YOU ALSO HAVE A NICE NECK. DRAW. YOUR. NECK. DRAW IT." And all throughout the semester he would make his rounds among us students and would always go "MISS. C! BIGGER!" "MISS. C WHAT IS THAT TINY LITTLE ANT DRAWING?!" "MISS. C! I WILL FAIL YOU IF YOU DONT DRAW BIGGER! AND I DO NOT WANT TO FAIL YOU!" "MISS C! I CAN STILL SEE 70% OF EMPTY SPACE ON THAT PAPER, DON'T WASTE YOUR TUITION MONEY DRAWING TINY THINGS ON BIG PIECE OF PAPER!" So how I start? I just close my eyes and replay all his scoldings in my head. And then I put down my very anxious and uncertain base lines. XD

Pencil/ pen and paper. Acrylic paint is nice, but I don't really know who to use it and have only worked on it sparingly. Oil pastels was fun to use but very messy and I didn't like the feeling it left on my hands. Charcoal was great, but also very messy. Actually truth be told...I never had a professor like him, and I never had anyone who spoke to me like that when it came to my art skills. I wonder why it felt like he was trying so hard with me even though it was just a 101 class. I wonder if he figured out that I didn't need the class and was just there because I wanted to and it was my only chance to take an art class after years of being told I shouldn't waste my time on art. Anyway....the class was just satisfactory or unsatisfactory, but he said he would be at his desk if anyone was interested in the "Pointless letter grades I still scored you on because I felt like it." Everyone was a satisfactory. I was curious so went, I got an A. Probably one of best feeling from a grade ever. He also told me I was crazy for wanting to turn a Van Gogh painting into an ink drawing, and actually did a decent job. He said if I chose another painting for ink he wouldn't have thought of it, but I went for the flowers and asked if I got carpel tunnel for it. I told him yes, my wrist did start hurting.

thoughts/ideas that ive had with the rise turtles under the cut (btw its kinda long and its just me rambling. youve been warned)

ive had 2 ideas for aus. One of them is like a splatoon au and the other one ive just titled “bad ending”. I’ll elaborate a bit more on that lower but first the splatoon stuff:

ok so the turtles might be octolings just because I want to stay more lore accurate so ig living in a sewer would be the splatoon equivalent of being an octoling before splatoon 2 (and octo dlc) events (but I really wanna just make designs for both species for all brothers anywayssss)

also new idea I literally had while typing this but what if eye masks were color of masks. so like raph having a red eye mask, mikey have a orange one, etc

ANYWAYS ive already decided (for now) what weapons each brother uses:

-raph uses a splatling, probably a hydra. or maybe tenta brella

-donnie uses a charger or a blaster (but most likely the charger.

-leo uses any splatana. I dont think he’d care which one in particular

-mikey will either use a slosher deco (since it has zipcaster) or an inkbrush. uhhhh yea their ink would probably be different colors. maybe the ends of the hair would be tinted green though. or maybe during specials itd be the same colors for all of them. btw specials would be the same as using their ninpo

splinter would be like cuttlefish to the agents in regards to the turtles. so he’s not their biological father nor the same species but hes still a father figure. april would be an inkling

OH OH NEW THOUGHT. since in the show mikey would hide in his shell sometimes I think the splatoon equivalent of that would be going squid form (or in their case octopus form)

uhhh I havent watched the movie yet but I know a lot about it SO I guess that the equivalent of the krang in this universe would be like. mr grizz. I dont think itd be like a tartar type of infection because you can physically remove the krang from your body and once youre sanitized you cant remove it (unless its like an agent 3 thing) but personally I think an infection more like the fuzzy ooze would fit better because unlike getting sanitized it makes the victim feral WHICH has more similair behaviors to the krang than getting sanitized

OK NEXT IS THE “bad ending” au idea

again, havent watched the movie yet (trying to finish the tv show first, im on episode 14) but basically its an au where everything is bad and nothing is happy (<- could not for the LIFE of me figure out how to phrase it and ended up with this. sorry lol)

but uh ig to make it a bit more clear (man my grammar sure is something rn huh?) I wanted to make an au where the ending was already “set” but I could add things like backstories and lore sooo imma have fun with that once it happens >:D

ill have to watch the movie to flesh out the events a bit more but what I have right now is that casey was never able to find/warn the turtles in time of krang invasion and that ended up with each of the turtle brothers getting corrupted. AGAIN. I WILL WATCH THE MOVIE. AND READ LORE. sorry if this seems inaccurate to movie stuff (even though this au really only needs the lore from the very beginning of the movie)

a little spoiler for the au (because I kinda wanna make little comics or stories for them..) but raph got corrupted first, then mikey (but hes not technically “fully” corrupted), then donnie, and then leo. april and casey are both still alive but splinter is missing. not dead or anything but just missing

ANYWAYS. *claps hands together* HEADCANON TIME (also ideas that ive had to draw. you can use them too if you want just credit me mk)

once raph got flipped over on his shell and instead of helping leo used him like a beyblade. he was NOT happy

mikey has (on several occasions) drawn on his brothers shells when theyre asleep or not paying attention (for donnie he draws on the battle shell lol)

if mikey really wants their attention he'll scream really loudly

sometimes leo will put stuff in donnies coffee to make him sleep especially if donnie hasn't sleep in a while (cause donnies a stubborn bitch who thinks sleep isnt real)

raph once got so mad he broke an entire arcade game and then had to go get a new one (haha L)

all of them dont think they need therapy (they do)

sometimes when donnie talks for too long leo will just go "BREATHE."

final headcanons below because I wanted to separate them from the rest (what happens in arguments depending on the brothers arguing)

mikey barely argues with anyone but when he does argue (and is serious about it) he does NOT hold back

raph and donnie arguments are usually what its like to have arguments online (donnie tries to explain why hes right and raph just goes "nuh uh ur wrong and im right")

raph and leo arguments are much more common and heated than stated above. raph will usually raise his voice towards leo and then leo will just not care and try to make a joke out of it (that always turns out badly). sometimes they even cry lol

donnie and leo arguments are VERY physical. leo would say something and then when donnie says something back hed push or shove him and then that turns into a full blown fight

they always make up though :3

Batdr is fine. When you take only the game itself into account but yeah its pretty much impossible to remove it from all the context of what went down with the studio. Buuuut Im not well versed on that and i want to talk about some stuff about the game in itself.

Batim used to be a spin some years ago, from before i even created this blog. So i kinda wanted to check it out, just out of curiosity

Gotta admit, i had a better time watching it than i thought id have. Though i literally just finished watching a playthrough a few hours ago so my opinions might change in the future, probably will be my only post of this game here

Out of the gate i have to say, i didn't really like the talking animations. Like, the gestures dont feel like gestures you do when you're talking with someone. Theyre too floaty and simmetrical. A good example of the floaty thing is in the intro where Audrey is tapping her fingers on the desk. Doesnt look super right.

The style took me a while to get used to. I was more fond of the style in the first game but it grew on me. They really expanded on the style, made it more detailed and really worked with the sepia and black in a way to give everything a lot of depth while still keeping it cartoony. Dont know how to feel about the addition of new colors.

The story was pretty interesting! I do like how they messed with the concept of the loop without outright conflicting with the canon Batim estabilished. It makes sense, its very interesting! I liked the flow of the story, but i did get a little ehhhh when it began showing that Audrey was trusting Wilson to do the right thing. Because like, the man fucking drowned you and trapped you in an inky hellscape. Even when you dont know his plans, why would you trust him? Yes, he's a familiar face but still doesnt make sense.

Joey making Audrey is something i really liked for some reason, its very interesting. Maybe because of the toh brainrot fjdndnf. Though it does contradict his line at the end of Batim where he says that Henry got a loving family and he only got a crooked empire. There was a lot of small things from the first game that they seemed to forget or just contradict, which is odd because there also was a lot that was consistent.

One thing that didn't sit well with me was how more at the end it seemed to go in a direction of showing how Joey changed for the better, but never really adressed all the workplace abuse and overall shittyness he brought onto his employees. Though what else could we expect from the kindlybeast?

For a while i was thinking they would pull the "oh the loop is better than the world Wilson has made" and while Wilson's whole dictatorship thing was very bad, i don't think the loop was good either. So i like that it was framed more as something that really couldnt be changed without being paused and put into stasis like Wilson did. Neither is good but one keeps the balance of that world, and Audrey is doing her best to make it more bearable.

Also Audrey basically managed to get Joey's wish from the first game, to bring the cartoon characters to life in a good way. But the credit scene with Gent taking the ink machine intrigues me. Because wouldn't she need it? She found another way to do that?

It suffered the same thing as Batim where some stuff was just brought up and not expanded as it kinda led you to believe. Actually it felt even more here, Batim felt more tightly packed in the story department. The father thing with Wilson felt kinda out of nowhere/underdeveloped. Like, if you dont pay much attention to it, it doesnt hurt much but it sure is weird.

Im not a really well versed guy on gameplay stuff, and i watched a playthrough instead of playing the game myself, but the problems in the first game seemed to be improved in this one. Definitely didn't get all solved some of them, but improved for sure, especially the combate.

When Audrey got the flow hability i realized they were sticking close to a formula like dishonored, with that and the way they did all the collectibles (the batteries, slugs, etc), which i think it might have been a good choice since dishonored is considered a pretty good game.

So, yeah, a fine game, though the enjoyment is tainted by the irl stuff that revolves around the game and the studio

Last Series: I finished a Little Women rewatch (in love) and finally started Spy x Family. I love it! it's already starting to deliver the found family, I'm gonna be obsessed. Also watching Gaus electronics on the side. It’s pure chaos and zero brain cells in sight. I didn’t expect to enjoy it as much as I did.

Last Movie: Nope. I need to rewatch this masterpiece.

They managed to keep Meg’s tenderness from the novel but added so much more. and they fit all of that with a surreal plot and significant commentary on capitalism and poverty. I love that they weaved in so much (and did it well).

2. Oh In-Kyung (Little Women):

"They're so fresh. They're fresh to the point that it's almost sexy". Fresh produce is…weirdly sexy. She gets it. Therefore, she is my favourite. Her layers make her feel so real, a part of the reason why I’m so obsessed w this show. Modern adaptations of classics are hard to get right, and I feel like this one treads those lines well. it is fresh (a full genre shift) but still manages to keep the essence.

3. Black (Not Me):

"Power is corrupting. Ideas are what have the power to transform society" My plot device of a man🥹🥹 Certainly deserved better. I could watch him wreck shit for days.

4. Dazai (Bungo Stray Dogs):

"No one can fully grasp another person's deepest emotions. It's impossible. Only you can understand what you're feeling. But generally speaking, I can tell you this. Most people tend to cry when their father dies." Can’t help but hate him. Can’t help but project onto him. He has fucked up a lot. and he will continue to do so. It is entertaining to watch, but sometimes he deserves a slap across the face (or several idk). Other times, a hug.

5. Wang (180 Degrees Longitude Passes Through Us):

"I will break free. Time is on my side, so I've decided to leave. But leaving doesn't mean I lost." I’m so proud of him. In a story where people struggled to change, he proved that it was still possible. His sheer will to gain something out of the heartbreaking experience he had, and to keep going despite being so lonely, so unheard. But also, the maturity to know which fights to pick. There’s so much to learn from him.

6. Togawa (Old Fashion Cupcake):

"I'm seducing you. I've been trying to seduce you, with everything I have. Although you never had a clue. I know...being seduced by someone of the same sex, isn't considered common sense for most people. Especially from a subordinate. But unfortunately, it's common sense to me. So I've been seducing you. 10. Baek Hee-Sung (Flower of Evil):

Mr. I've-never-felt-an-emotion really broke down on the streets after reuniting with his 4 yo daughter and then got called out by her for it. "Daddy, don't cry like before if you miss me, okay? You're a grown-up". So,, misunderstood.

11. Han Ju-Won (Beyond Evil):

"I'll be a monster and dive into hell. That is my way of atoning" He's on this list bc I miss his ass and this show.

I was a fan of the comic of qtftim I always will I choose to look at comic continuations I had a choice but I had to move on though I was attached to it and the characters of bendy and boris the quest for the ink machine I will always be greatful for the memories I had with it and will continue to have memories of the original comic and the aus I love very much I know it will be hard for all the fans to let go of it when it's over but eventually it will be easier and more better you make more memories with other things and though you eventually have to let go of the original babqftim but you will find continue aus you will love you will find one that fits you and you will soon be focusing on other things like school friends outside of social media going out places vacations college university and so much more so please enjoy your lives life Is short enjoy it and flourish into good people and remember to keep moving forward to your best future
