I was out this morning, mind you I haven’t slept yet since 2:00 in the morning when his alarm went off. This is going to be a long 20 days. Last year it took 4 days to feel the sadness, but this year I felt it before he left to go overseas. I keep thinking the only way that I could feel better is to go to the beach during the Unofficial start to Summer, but I don’t know how that would work as I don’t want to drive 2 hours each way and I don’t do well to drive after it gets dark and to stay there for a day or so will be expensive.

Since it is National Hamburger Day, I wish to make some for me and our daughter with a side and cool beverage. Well that’s the goal. I wish to make the best out of these days.
