I will say to all the people critiquing it, I get that it’s a sudden shift BUT these two stories are happening at the same time. They most likely will have effects on each other bc of the characters relationships with each other.

What if opal DOES succumb to the spider Queen or she dies?? Or any of the other crown keepers die?

Orym and Dorian will have lost 2 (or more!)of their closest allies within DAYS of each other. Thats gonna make some real juicy story points.

And if Dorian dies. Juicy juicy juicy.

I get it it’s change, change is hard. But I’m so giddy about this.

I think these stories are so intertwined that it makes COMPLETE SENSE for us to go see what the crown keepers are doing. Of COURSE.

If your fav white character can be loved unconditionally THEN SO CAN CHARACTERS OF COLOR.

Y’all constantly want characters of color to struggle and that’s a problem. They can never just exist. They can never be powerful just because. They can’t be anything without y’all questioning why they have the right to be that way. It’s racism. Point blank period. Constantly questioning why marginalized characters aren’t struggling, why they get to show off their powers and just be is racist. The fact y’all don’t hesitate to do it either makes it even more obvious. Like what do you mean Storm not struggling does a disservice to marginalized characters??? Or that Hazel despite being super powerful doesn’t deserve to be in the seven??? Or that Bree is annoying when she is a grieving 16 year old???? What do you mean by that??????

orym & dorian: first and last sending (and one attempt)

Sending stones come in pairs, with each smooth stone carved to match the other so the pairing is easily recognized. While you touch one stone, you can use an action to cast the sending spell from it. The target is the bearer of the other stone. If no creature [ he’s not a creature, he’s a body ] bears the other stone, you know that fact as soon as you use the stone and can’t cast the spell.
