“stardew valley is so relaxing” i am struggling to make ends meet. yesterday i was swarmed by bugs and passed out and the resident homeless guy found me, dragged me back to my home, and stole half of what was in my backpack. the day before that the only doctor in town found me passed out in my OWN FUCKING HOUSE TWO FEET FROM MY BED and still billed me 200g in medical bills. i watered one plant and have become incredibly fatigued. the mayor i met 2 days ago just asked me to fetch his boxers from the animal farmer he’s having an affair with instead of getting them his damn self. i have never been more stressed in my life.

I want to know the Shane lore so bad. Jas calls him Uncle Shane, but Marnie only describes him as Jas' godfather. Did Shane have siblings who fucking died?? Is he Jas' legal guardian or is Marnie? If Shane has custody of Jas, why does she not move in if you marry him? What is the STORY??

I always thought it was a little sad that you couldn't actually pick which horse you would keep, so I like to imagine the farmer gets to choose which one behind the scenes.

This is a little ways in the future, when Deva finally gets a stable! (The only problem is finding a good horse.)

I always imagined Marnie would instantly offer her help and even suggest they all move in with her (Shane would decline because this time he’s adamant to do things differently).

But she would be a vital member of their family of course. Since they don’t live that far apart, Shane and the girls would visit Marnie almost daily and vice versa. So naturally she’d be involved in raising the children too besides occasionally helping Shane out on the farm or inviting them over for lunch. When things get too much for Shane she‘d take care of things for him. I guess she’s less of a mother figure though and more of a grandma/aunt (obviously) to the girls.
