T: Any fandom tropes you can’t stand? - Pretty sure I've answered this somewhere before, but for the most part I don't dislike much. I think the one thing that can get to me is when characters are too out of character, or if they behave in a way that doesn't make sense to me. That's one of the few things that will make me back out of a story and not finish it.

Q: Do you have any discarded scenes/storylines/projects? - Doesn't everyone? Haha, I try not to think of my projects as discarded, because I want to come back to them, so I haven't actually given up/discarded them so much as put them on my pantry shelf for later. As far as scenes and storylines though, definitely! Sometimes my outline starts as one thing but ends up developing a life of its own. Other times I write a scene and then decide some or all of it doesn't actually suit what I want the story to be doing. In those cases I have to chop it from the story. But I hate deleting things, so i just move it to the bottom of the fic document to my 'edit graveyard'. If you're curious, I'm happy to share some of those 'edit graveyard' scenes. Send another ask and I'll cobble a few together!

L: What’s the weirdest AU you’ve ever come up with? - ooooh good question. I really love the ghost cowboy AU i came up with for my oneshot 'with me' in the Naruto fandom. It's such a fun blend of supernatural shenanigans and also the old west. Both of which are settings that I've not really written before. It's very very different from the naruto universe, but I think it turned out quite good.

J: Write or describe an alternative ending to Sharingan Stealer (series). [Sharingan Stealer story 1 link] - So, I haven't actually finished Sharingan Stealer, though I have a solid idea of how it's going to end. I think that one alternate ending would have been to just leave it at the first fic, and let the one incident between Itachi and Iruka be the only one. Let them join separate genin teams, and allow canon to proceed as usual. Another alternate ending would be to make Iruka more OP, and allow him to develop a combat ability that can be compared to some of the Uchiha clan members we've met in canon. To have Itachi and Shisui teach him all sorts of badass ninjutsu, get Iruka to be a jonin, or maybe even ANBU. It's plausible, and possible, but that's also not the story I want to tell with Sharingan Stealer. I don't want to spoil the ending, of course, but now you know that those are two alternates that aren't going to happen! Lol. Sorry to everyone who was hoping for a badass Iruka. His is a softer power, but no less important.

oh god, that's a good question......... i gotta dig out my old Fics To Write gdoc, gimme a minute well, i guess it depends on if i interpret it to mean plot bunnies that i still carry because i still have hope of writing them someday, or just the oldest idea that i remember wanting to write. cuz for the latter, it was definitely a fantasy story set in a world called Minunaia. i did a bunch of worldbuilding for it, i drew a map, i used so many place-name-generators online 😂 all of the characters were based off of me and my friends and i made them all read it as i wrote. i got like 30 pages into the story without anything actually HAPPENING cuz i had very little actual plot in mind, lmao, i was only interested in playing in the sandbox i'd set up. which i feel like is very on par for a future career in fanfiction 😂 as for fics, gosh, i'm honestly not sure, my gdoc is not in chronological order akldfjgh, i arranged it by ship lol. so i'll put out a random one that i remember being from at least 9 years ago. "Jailbreak AU – Gen modern AU. Escaped convict!Merlin tries to hijack Arthur’s car. Accused of sorcery and murdering his best friend, needs to clear his name and find the real killer." so the concept was that Nimueh had a gang, a badass magical gang, and she wanted to be the most powerful magic user in the tri-state area or whatever. Merlin was not in the gang, but for whatever reason, Will had gotten sucked into it. Nimueh found out that Merlin was super powerful, strong enough to rival her and threaten her dominance, and she wanted him gone even though he didn't have any designs on her operation. i think Will wanted to defect? or he found something out and was going to turn states witness or whatever, and Nimueh figured that the smartest thing to do would be take out two birds with one stone -- kill the traitor and frame the rival. so Will is dead and Merlin is blamed for it. he's arrested and no one is listening to him as he tries to tell them that Nimueh is responsible, so he escapes, determined to find the evidence himself even if he won't survive it in the end or it means he goes back to jail forever. he needs to get justice for Will. he ends up jumping in the back of Arthur's car like "do what i say or i'll kill you!!!" except he's, ya know, Merlin and he's not super threatening. and Arthur is, ya know, Arthur and he's not very intimidated. he is, however, a person with a very strong sense of justice and honor, so when Merlin tells him what his goal is, he can't get past the possibility that maybe Merlin is telling the truth. he can't in good conscience allow an innocent man to go to jail and a killer to walk free, so in a fit of rare noble impulsivity, he is convinced to hide Merlin and help him in his quest. i never really got past the set up 😂 but i had a very vivid image in my mind of Arthur taking Merlin to some pub he had the keys to or whatever, to hide out, and watching as Merlin overloaded the magic-suppressing restraints he was put in, literally melting them off his wrists, and being like "oh. oh wow." in both a scared and a horny kind of way, and then tending to the resulting burns. because i have always been a slut for hurt/comfort. bonus answer: babe, i experience existential dread over SO MANY of the concepts i have shoved in the back of my closet. i have dozens of ideas half-formed and lurking and gathering dust, and i used to think i was gonna write them all someday, but now it's been years and years and i'm forced to acknowledge that i'm probably not and that's a sucky realization 😅 but sometimes the stars simply do not align. the time wasn't right and now the moment has passed for those ideas. maybe someday the stars will cycle through and come back into the right position and i'll get an enormous burst of inspiration and motivation and discipline, and words will end up on the page that i never expected to actually write!! cross your fingers for that mythical day.

SO MANY, I'm sure. But now that you've put me on the spot, the only one that comes to mind is the One Where They Are Both Hopelessly Devoted To Each Other. Oh, and The Look, the heart eyes, the "you hung the moon and the stars and yet you wake up in my bed in the morning how did I get so lucky" look. Those tropes. Love that shit.

I don't know if this counts for a trope. But I hate coffee shop/flower shop/modern day slice of life AUs. I can't even really explain it. But they're just so... I live the modern day slice of life, y'know? I don't wanna read about it.

38. do you reread your own stories?

(I was also curious as to your least favorite story you've written! Seems like a crazy question...)

I do reread my own stories! I reread a lot when writing to remind myself what's happening. But I also love to go back and read things that I've already finished and just enjoy the story. I write for myself first and foremost, so of course I really enjoy it. And I'm an incorrigible re-reader, so it happens pretty often.

(least favorite story I've written???? Oof that's a tough call. Hmmm. Probably one of my simple bingo stories, where I didn't invest much time or effort into it. One that stands out in my mind is 'in the market for sausage ' or maybe 'snow is serious business when your business is being a kid'. But the scale is honestly along the lines of "like - like a lot - love - love most ardently" so I wouldn't say I dislike them, I just like them a little less.)
