I wonder how many idols I've seen in real life without noticing. It's one thing if I'm traveling in Seoul or Tokyo or somewhere I "expect" to see a familiar face, but if I had been waiting in line for malasadas while Eunbi was posing for this photo just a few feet away, I don't think I would have recognized her.

This is the original Dot & Dough location. It’s small but they do have some outdoor seating and lots of different mochi donuts, and classic and filled malasadas. They also have stuffed cookies, cream puffs, mini mochi bites, and drinks (coffee, milk tea, fruit drinks). Mochi donuts start at $2.95 and classic malasadas at $2.50. There are some creative donut flavor options like Hot Cheetos, salty egg yolk, and banana chocolate and some Asian donut flavors like taro, matcha white chocolate, and strawberry Pocky.

The donuts were not greasy or oily and they were less sweet than usual.

Cookie n crème malasada: The donut wasn’t filled. It seemed like it was fried at too hot of a temperature because there were pockets in the exterior crust. The flavor was good though and the chocolate glaze seemed less sweet than usual. It was topped with Oreo crumbs.

Homer chocolate mochi donut: Softer and chewier than the malasada, not that sweet

Parking is available behind the shop.
