He had rose his arm to block whatever his senses felt was coming towards him. Like his instinct told him ; it was inoffensive... but darn wasn’t it so fucking insulting.

Hands reached his face to grab onto the still living, fighting for dear life koi fish, fingertips digging into it as it kept slipping on his gloves... before Archer’s arm moved in a wide arc, chucking with every once of his might the fish at the perpetrator’s face, hoping its guts would explode all over him.

“What the FUCK you motherfucking, egregiously retarded mongrel think you’re doing ?! If I wanted fucking sashimi, I would have ordered it !”

At seeing a Magikarp flying towards them, the dark bug type reached up to catch the fish. How was it not more injured or dying being out of the water? The Pokemon didn’t know. They chirped softly and moved opened a hidden mouth looking quite ready to put the water type pokemon into its maw.

When his mother used to dress him as a boy, she would put him in muted, pale tones – most often browns, beiges and blues. A pallet that, against his peachy skin and sky blue locks washed him out until there, truly, was little about him that stood out. The same treatment was done to his father, whose complexion he shared save for their differing eye color. Don’t tell Noboru, but he always has liked that he got his mother’s blue eyes, rather than the charcoal of his father. Though not fully relevant to question, I want to note that this was a pallet that their decor at home, too, followed – making Mrs. Akagi the sole member to stand out within the family home.

A deliberate choice, though perhaps not one easily picked up on.

Cyrus isn’t the most attentive to his appearance nor style, even if he makes an effort to always dress proper no matter the occasion at hand. Sweats and loose, comfy shirts aren’t a part of his wardrobe for this reason. The colors he chooses, however, directly stem from his upbringing…

If one feels they suit him depend on personal opinion, I suppose. He feels it’s a safe choice, in a sense, and so he has mostly kept up with the pallet from his youth.

Jealous isn’t something that I, inherently, would put as a trait of Cyrus’s – quite the opposite, actually. Despite the hiccups of his younger years, Cyrus grew to be a very confident and independent man. He feels security within himself more often than not and if he falters, then it’s not for long. When it comes to relationships, if he were to actually enter one with someone – he would feel confident in it enough to the point where jealousy, even if his partner was flirted with, wouldn’t lap at his feet. He would chose them for a reason, after all, and they chose him. Not much else has to be there for that trust to develop.

Of course, trust can be broken… Jealousy, however, wouldn’t be born from it. A pinch of resentment, a touch of anger, perhaps, but not jealousy.

This doesn’t mean, however, that Cyrus hasn’t been jealous before. Have you ever wondered why your mother doesn’t behave like other mommy’s do? Why she won’t hold your hand after mass, when all the other children can without a fuss? Why she can’t say hello when you say you’re back home from school, or why she won’t tell you goodnight once the day’s chores are through?

Have you ever wondered why your father didn’t speak to you like a human being, before you turned eighteen?

Cyrus certainly wondered these things growing up and, in his little hearts of hearts… He had carried a sense of jealousy within him. It was a small section of his heart that wondered why Annika’s mother couldn’t be his. Why he couldn’t be treated like Samuel is? He wondered why he had to be the one to feel this way, when he tried his very best to be as good as he possibly could. Cyrus was jealous of those around him growing up and, perhaps, he still could be…
