Taehoon finds it cute, really. It wasn't just that he found it cute; it was more like an electrifying sensation that coursed through his veins. Maybe it's just the way he's captivated by your movements, or perhaps it's just the way how your face lights up as you'd dance as if nobody were watching.

But honestly, the music choice could be better. Who in their right fucking mind listens to "phonk"? " It was as though someone had taken a blender to a cacophony of dissonant noises, mixed it with Snapper and Hobin’s yelling and called it music.

"Ughhhh- Make it stop."

Taehoon groans, rolling his eyes in discontentment.

"Nuh-uh. I ain't gonna."

As the pulsating bass throbs through the air, you find yourself swaying to the rhythm, your body moving confidently despite the mediocre music assaulting both of your ears. With each step, you defy the ear-bleeding tunes. Your eyes sparkle with an infectious joy as you twirl and spin, lost in a world where only your happiness matters.

The bass may be shit, but your energy soars above it, overshadowing the limitations of the melody. In your dance, there's a magic that makes Taehoon forget about the shitty song; Turning the ordinary into something extraordinary.

Fuck. You’ve got Taehoon smiling like an idiot. When he notices it, he quickly wipes it off, but it's not too late for you to catch his affectionate gaze.

”The fuck ya want?”

He scowls, only for you to return a smirk.

Dashing around the house, frantically searching through your drawers for something to wear, you disturb a very peaceful Taehoon (a rare sight, wow) engaged in a phone call with his dad. He might have overlooked your antics if he hadn't noticed you making a beeline for the door.

“Babe, I’m off to Rumi’s for a bit. Don’t forget to give Tiger his medication!”

Peppering kisses all over his face, he lets out a resigned sigh.

”At this hour? I don’t think so. Shouldn’t you be sleeping?”

It's not as if Taehoon is in any position to lecture. His sleeping schedule is even more fucked up than yours. Yeah, he admits to himself that it may be hypocritical to tell you not to go out so late and possibly cause danger to yourself when he does it too. Which is why, without uttering a word, you lock eyes with him, and he relents.

”Just get back safely or call me, alright?”

And the master negotiator (without negotiating) wins again.

”Mhm, I’ll be back”

Before you leave, Taehoon kisses back (followed by a flick on the forehead, because he’s the bitchiest of all bitches). He could’ve sworn he heard Hansu chuckling through the other side of the phone. This old man can only gush about this very moment.

Tranquility, at last. No jarring phonk music assaulting his poor fucking ears, no impromptu silly dances disrupting the peace. But amidst this newfound calm, Taehoon finds himself missing it all. (It’s only been a minute-) Now he actually doesn’t mind the music you play. He could be calling Hobin to come over, play some video games, talk to his dad again but he’s probably too embarrassed to hear his father bring up how soft he was earlier.

”Come here, you lil’ rascal. It’s time for your meds”

He calls out to your cat, who dutifully obeys, padding over to Taehoon's side.

And it wasn’t long before Taehoon finds himself listening to your carefully curated phonk playlist on Spotify. The beats pulse through his earphones, he pictures you leaping around the room, your laughter filling the space as you lose yourself in the music's infectious energy. And suddenly, the absence of your hijinks feels like a void he hadn't realized was there.

”How does Y/N go about it again? Like this?”

Taehoon mutters to himself, attempting to mimic your dance moves.

If only your cat could talk, it would regale you with TEA of Taehoon's comical attempts to imitate your silly movements. Despite his status as a taekwondo prodigy, his body just doesn't seem to move in the same fluid way as yours. It's a sight to behold, watching him stumble and flail around the room, his efforts more resembling a worm sprinkled with salt than a seasoned dancer.

He hisses, now cringing to himself and glad you aren’t around to see how shit-

With a sheepish grin, you approach the door, your keys conspicuously absent from your hand.

”Gah, how could I forget my phone out of all things?! I hope Taehoon’s asleep by now, otherwise I’d have to deal with his bickering, and- Taehoooon?”

As you reach for the handle, you're met with an unexpected sight: Taehoon, in all his clumsy glory, attempting to replicate your dance moves with a level of finesse that could only be described as the equivalent of the Hobin Yoo Company's chaos. Caught off guard by the scene unfolding before you, you can't help but burst into laughter, momentarily forgetting the reason you needed to enter the room in the first place.

”Is this what you do when I’m not around?”

And then, just when you think it couldn't get any cringier, he manages to stub his toe on the corner of the coffee table.

”FU-”

Taehoon clears his throat, his cheeks flushing with embarrassment in your presence, a rare occurrence for someone usually so composed. But his embarrassment is momentarily overshadowed by his curiosity as to why you've returned so quickly.

"Anyway, why are you here already? Not that I don’t mind, but—"

You bashfully avert your gaze to the ground, a nervous chuckle escaping your lips.

"I forgot my phone…"

"Tsk! Do you really have to be this irresponsible sometimes?!? What could’ve happened if you didn’t get in contact with me?"

Taehoon pulls you into a tight hug, his worry palpable in the embrace. But amidst his concerns, you can't help but sense his underlying desire to distract you from the awkwardness of his recent dance attempt.

A part of you acknowledges his genuine concern, but another part recognizes this as one of his subtle ways to divert your attention from the potential blackmail material you just witnessed. Despite his attempt to shift the focus, his affectionate (but tsundere) nature somehow manages to shine through.

”Taehoon?”

”Hm?”

”Why were you-”

”We don’t talk about that.”

”But-”

”Shush, or I won’t let you go back to Rumi’s.”

I loved the post about how Ghost listens to Taylor Swift, what do you thank all the other members of 141 listen too? I am personally believe that Price listens to smooth jazz and Graves listens to older country songs. And I am imagining a music battle between the two or the whole task force, what do you think?

Price will listen to just about anything without complaint and is very big on letting whoever he is with control the radio. When he's in control, however, he doesn't really listen to what others consider mainstream. Gothic rock, punk, rock, and folk are his top choices of music to play but he usually waits to be alone before he plays his music.

Ghost's taste in music has a wide range. He has rocked out to metal, pop, punk, folk, phonk, EDM-- He has a little bit of everything in his playlist. He has different playlists for different moods. His most listened to playlist has hard rock, metal, punk, and alternative in it. Ghost listens to this playlist to keep up his image. He usually avoids getting control of the radio and gives it to someone else but if he decides to keep control he likes to torment everyone.

Soap loves pop, hip hop, phonk, and anything that has a good beat to it and gets his blood pumping. If a song isn't making him want to move and keep up with the beat then it's not for him. Soap is the type to embody the vibe of the song he's listening to. He is a monster when in control of the radio and is an ass when someone else has control.

Gaz loves pop, hip hop, EDM, and alternative. His playlists are labeled 'happy', 'sad', and 'angry' and he listens to them according to his mood. He has stared at Soap while listening to Gayle's 'abcdefu' after getting in a argument with him. Gaz tries to be considerate when in control of the radio to what everyone else might want to listen to but he still plays music that is in accordance with his mood.

Laswell listens to rock, pop, and hip hop. All the songs she listens to range from the 70s to the late 90s. Any songs after those time periods are only in her playlist because one of the boys introduced her to it. Like Soap, is a monster when in control of the radio. You will sit there in silence and listen to the entire Queen's 'A Kind of Magic' album in order.

Like Ghost, Farah has a wide range in music she likes. If the music isn't in a language she doesn't understand she remains unaffected. She listens to radio stations and has maybe ten songs in her personal playlist because she generally doesn't care. If she has control over the radio she just plays the local music station and calls it that.

Alex is deep in pop, country, and pop country and vibes there happily. He keeps his mouth shut when listen to someone else's music and makes no complaints even if he doesn't like what's playing. Has cried to Carrie Underwood's 'Jesus Take the Wheel' and when asked about it he just says that's how he sings. Oblivious to how everyone is when he plays his music when in control of the radio.

Alejandro likes pop and country and vibes happily with Alex. Though almost all his songs are in Spanish, he will listen to everyone else's music with the same enthusiasm he gives his own. Loves listening to new music and is willing to give any genre or song a chance. Loves to dance to his music and will attempt to do so when he is in control of the radio. He will just set his music on shuffle and sit back and vibe to whatever comes on.

Rudy listens to pop, hip hop, country, but his dirty pleasure is metal, punk, emo, and goth. Has a secret playlist that is full of this types of songs. Due to growing up in a very religious household, his preferred music of choice was shunned so he turned to hiding it. Only Alejandro knows about the secret playlist and was almost murdered for discovering it. Is slowly coming out of the mindset that he has to hide his music and will randomly play a deathcore song and shock the shit out of everyone.

Valeria loves pop, EDM, hip hop, and country but will listen to whatever is available. She is the least judgemental person when it comes to music but loves to act like she's going to criticize whatever song someone plays. As two playlists, 'work & business' and the other playlist is just all her liked songs. Valeria plays her 'work & business' playlist when in control of the radio. Has almost broke Soap's hand for him trying to touch the radio and she will not hesitate to do it again.

Graves loves Country, EDM, phonk, pop, and hip hop. If someone plays a song he likes he refuses to admit that he likes that song. Listens to raunchy music because he genuinely likes it. Has a playlist that could be a sex playlist but it isn't. Will wear headphones and listen to his own music because he hates it when other people play their music. Though he does secretly listen to what others are playing while still having his headphones in.

Nik loves punk/rock covers of pop songs. Just goes insane for it and it's pretty much all he listens to. Wants to dance and sing along to his music at the top of his lungs. Doesn't mind when others play their music but doesn't really show interest unless it's a song in his playlist or if it's something he likes the sound of. Has a playlist called 'share with Price' and has bust into Price's office and forced him to listen to it.

5 - A song that needs to be played LOUD

I love 'Bauhaus' by Patricia Taxxon, and I feel like it's best when played LOUD! I also think anything with some good bass also counts, like Sin by Nine Inch Nails or Killing in The Name by Rage Against The Machine, I also love a bunch of Maximum The Hormone songs and I think 'Koi no Megalover' and 'Shimi' are at their best when LOUD!!!!! (Oh oh oh and Where is My Mind by The Pixies)

I actually don't have many active ocs atm.

-I do have this Harry Potter oc named Jackson that, long story short, was a chaos gremlin muggle that accidentally found Hogwarts and his only power was being immune to the obliviate spell (having his mind wiped) so all the magical folk were forced to keep him around and he eventually becomes a teacher. He does shit like wander into the forest and come back covered in pink glittery hair and someone is like "Is that highly valuable, highly rare unicorn hair???" and he'll be like "Oh you mean that weird horse I found in the woods? yeah idk maybe." He introduces Dumbledore to Kdramas and phonk and Snape to fancy light up ballpoint pens and MCR.

-I had another oc named Gray that was really odd because they ended up being named the Creature of Limbo, not quite human or magical or anything, just unsettlingly connected to this sort of liminal space forest and had some other weird horror stuff happen with a string of fate and abomination flowers which symbolized their soul and yada yada...

-Had an oc pair named Goose and Lynx. Lynx was a shapeshifter and a bastard. Goose was their sister and like secretly a teeny weeny bit evil. I really enjoyed writing her because one of her lines is "Arguably the most Slytherin thing a Slytherin can do is to not be in Slytherin..."

(A little extra lore) Lynx creates a new spell that can be cast from anywhere in the body and invents a move called ✨The Claps of Magic✨ where both Lynx and Goose stand back to back, handspring backwards, and land with both their feet on one another in handstands so that they can both wall twerk off of one another.

-Had a Criminal Minds oc who was Spencer Reids cousin named Flute and he was an amputee (had his leg lobbed off by a serial killer who he ends up killing later). He helps the team for a bit. His leg lights up so like, "Hey Flute, mind turning off the leg?" "Why?" "I can't see the blood splatters when your leg is making everything look like a gay rave." He sometimes hits people with it and when he does, it plays the Seinfeld theme (and other rage inducing fight appropriate songs).

-Another oc named Foil that was in love with this guy, basically an unrequited love story, but then throw in some magic and it centers around this Cult of the White Shadow. They are a group of people trying to live forever through time magic (they believe that erasing parts of your own past tricks the time continuum into making you live longer. It doesn't). Foil finds out if they go through with this ritual that basically time will collapse which is NOT GREAT and she tries to stop them. She arrives on the scene and as a last resort throws herself into the time sigil to stop it and gets mega cursed™. The cult is stopped but she is screwed as she is wiped from history and forgotten (damn time magic). Forgotten Foil would be her nickname lol. She is my angst oc because she's always like "WhY shOuld i livE iF nOOne KnOwS WhO I Am wAhH-" ~~(🎶they call me mr forgettable 😩🫠🎶)~~

anyways imma stop there because that's a lot already even if I have a few more tucked away. most of these are not in active use and are pretty fluid because I can't make a concrete decision for shit

current obsession: Oh no. Well. I started playing wizard101 (that MMO from 2008) again earlier this year and am very much hyperfixating. I'd never recommend the game to anyone, but I unironically love it a lot. The story gets pretty interesting, and I have so much internal ~lore~ about my wizard that he's basically an OC at this point. I'm a little obsessed with him! Imagine a high fantasy wizarding world with all kinds of magic, talking animals, and powerful gods, where everyone is running around in fancy robes and elegant armor, riding around on celestial animals or dragons. And then picture a regular bisexual guy in jeans and a t-shirt, with a skateboard and a dog. That's my necromancer :) The game is still pretty active and mostly 20-something year olds now. I can't in good conscience recommend wiz to anyone but I always want to talk about my funky lil wizard

Current obsession: I started playing the original tomb raider games once again after so many years, I grew up playing these games. The games never get old and Lara Croft is one of my favorite character😼

A rebellious reaper, a demon, an angel, a human mage, and a kitsune, all coming together to chill, hang out, vibe to some good music and maybe cause some trouble (while their little crow friend makes sure they're all ok and that they don't get into too much trouble) These guys live in a town on the edge of a desert in Nevada, coming together due to common interests and the fact that there aren't many other magical beings in the area. Descriptions for each character:

Top, from left to right Abrin is a plague demon, and despite his intimidating appearance, he’s a pretty chill guy once you get to know him. He loves to listen to phonk music and vibe with friends, maybe go wild at a party. He is the first person to befriend Inostra after she moved to the mortal world Inostra is a Life Faller, a race of reapers from the land of the dead. She moved to the mortal realm to get away from her cozy but dreary old home in favor of our wild and lively world full of parties, alcohol, and risky behavior. She’s incredibly rebellious and crass, preferring not to give crap about anything and just wanting to chill with her new friends Plumewrite is an adorable crow-like Life Faller, a race of reapers from the land of the dead. She is an absolute sweetheart and a kind soul who likes to see the potential good in everyone, including rebellious outcasts like her friend Inostra Bottom, from left to right Elena is a tall and stoic woman who’s half angel. She can come off as tough, curt, and dominant, but her friends know her as being mellow and thoughtful. She’s actually quite the sweetheart towards certain individuals like her boyfriend, who she sees as funny and adorable Cyfrin is a mage and the boyfriend of Elena. He has a little bit of an ego in a sort of overconfident dumbass way and he is an absolute hothead who doesn’t want to back down if someone tries to pick a fight. He tries to act cool and tough, but he’s as intimidating as an angry chihuahua. When it comes to his girlfriend, he’s an absolute dork who’s head over heals for her 24/7 Emiko is a sassy, snarky, and laid back kitsune. She loves punk and kidcore aesthetics and likes to absolutely cover herself in colorful accessories. She even went so far as to magically dye her hair, tails, and fox form fur cerulean colored. Her humanoid form is small and unassuming, but her fox form is borderline terrifying
