My body jarred from the fight of trying to keep it all inside me.
Such naked wanting... I’d always been afraid of wanting anything so badly that it becomes visible. For years I’d tried to compress my desires, to burn them away, like waste. I had this theory, I said, that that was why I would never be graceful. My body jarred from the fight of trying to keep it all inside me, it made me clumsy. Desires would rise up and I’d knock an elbow into something, or my hand would give out on the glass I was holding and I would watch it as it slipped through my fingers, shattered.

US Army MK4 Sherman Tank "Easy Eight" in Op Overlord scheme
US Army MK 4 Sherman Tank in Op Overlord scheme sits outside Utah D-Day museum on the actual landing beach at Plage De La Madalein where the American Army landed on the 6th June 1944, (D-day). The museum is built around an original German bunker. The Sherman MK4 version was also known as the "Easy Eight".

Ever since La Grande Patisserie opened up a few weeks ago, all my dolls want to visit--including Erin! The brightly colored decor and the smell of freshly baked bread and pastries is irresistible.
There's so much to look at here. The first thing that customers see is a glass case full of French-inspired pastries, and they all look so delicious.
Grace greets us and welcomes us in. She spent last summer in Paris, working at her aunt and uncle's patisserie, and brought back lots of recipes and ideas for opening her own shop with the help of her grandparents.
Grace helpfully tells us the names of all the fancy pastries--tartelette, madaleine, macaron, éclair, beignet, gâteau, croquembouche, petit four.....
Erin was quite intrigued by the raspberry filled macarons, the pink sandwich cookies with raspberries in the middle.
Grace is so generous--she included a free Valentine's day heart sprinkle cupcake for me!

what are some real people that you'd rp if given a chance?
Violet Jessop (who survived the sinking of the Titanic, the sinking of the Britannic, and was onboard the Olympic when it rammed into the HMS Hawke). So she survived 3 ship wrecks in six years.
Madaleine Astor (Titanic survivor)
Cora Cartmell (Titanic young Steerage girl)
((I'll work on some non-Titanic ones once I can focus better. Likely after my trip out of state))

THANK YOU APOLLO
how incredibly frustrating is it to have every defense of your character be labeled as back talk?
there’s no empathy in a house where emotions are demonized, antagonized, and imperatively connected to the littel red man himself. there is joy in misfortune.
how absurd is it to want for a life and personality of your own?
no, everything ties into what others have done.
you are “a mosaic of everyone you have ever known” at best
you are a shell of lost potential in truth
red is not red, it’s your mother’s color
red, red, red, red. blue
blood is not blood, it’s wine lost in barrels of admiration(deceit)
maddening it seems ms. madaleine
how deafening are the opinions of authority that you are left with the absence of self?
to say you’re half a person is too high a statute,
you are corn husks discarded for industrial cigarettes
choke on your truths
fall from the sky,
drown in the sea child of march, daughter of a sullen and ill tempered woman
you are not your father’s son
you are not your father’s favorite son
you are not the boy he wanted.
let disgrace rest in the nape of your necks
how constructive can bias be?
it runs amok, amok, amok, around
how does a rant convert to a poem, to flowery language with the stench of almond?
ms. madaleine, let the tint trace the crimson beneath the flesh
speak to the child in your place
visceral emotions are crude oil awaiting distillation
you are not
you are sullen but you are simply “not”
express the negative other words and steal luggage, vernacular, and a personality
how are you?
how are you really?
crude, cruel, and cluttered words
go write elsewhere. go ask questions to a higher being. ramble to a person who is not you.
the devil is only where you seek.
