5 Unique Tourist Attractions You Can Find in Clearbrook Abbotsford
The city of Clearbrook is a small community located just 20 minutes away from the city of Abbotsford. The city has many attractions that are located within walking distance from each other, making it a great place to visit for locals and tourists alike. In this blog post, we'll be highlighting five unique tourist attractions you can find in Clearbrook Abbotsford BC Canada.
Tumblr media
International Friendship Garden
Located on the banks of the Fraser River, this garden is a symbol of friendship between the people of Canada and China. It has numerous flower beds, fountains and bonsai trees representing many different regions in China. Riverside Resort and Conference Centre
This is a great destination for families, couples or groups of friends. You can enjoy the many amenities at the resort such as an outdoor pool, hot tub, exercise room or lounge by the fireplace. There are plenty of things to do there including hiking, fishing and golfing. The resort also has its own restaurant called “The Grille” where you can eat delicious meals prepared by their chef while enjoying views of Okanagan Lake. If you want to explore other parts of Clearbrook Abbotsford then you can visit Mabel Lake Provincial Park located nearby which has many trails that lead around it with scenic views all year round!
Historic Downtown Clearbrook (Great for photos!)
Clearbrook’s historic downtown is a great place to take photos. Here you can find many old buildings and landmarks, including the Clearbrook Community Hall, which was built in 1911. There are also many great places to eat, like the Sugar Shack Bakery & Tea Room or the Royal Bank of Canada (RBC).
This area has a lot of history as well! When it was first founded in 1874 it was called “Indian Reserve No. 10” but was renamed Clearbrook by its first white settler Andrew Porter who arrived in 1875 with three other families. They were all loggers who came from Ontario looking for work cutting trees down here because this region had been logged out already so they had nothing else left except farming which wasn't very profitable at first because there weren't enough people living here yet but eventually population grew so much that by 1900 census count showed that almost 500 residents lived within its boundaries then after WWI ended these numbers started growing even faster as federal government began granting land rights through reserves like this one which meant more opportunities existed once again after many years spent fighting overseas against Germany during both world wars so now instead focusing on agriculture like their ancestors did before them many people decided instead focus on logging again after discovering valuable timber resources nearby such as Douglas fir trees along with those found within nearby Mount Robson Provincial Park
The Shops at Clearbrook Commons
If you are looking for a fun day trip with your family, or want to show out of town guests some of the best shopping in the Fraser Valley, this is a great place to go. The Shops at Clearbrook Commons is located just off the Trans Canada Highway in Abbotsford and has many shops and restaurants that are sure to excite all kinds of people.
If you're looking for something unique, check out their antiques store where they have amazing pieces from across North America. If you're more interested in fashion trends and fashion advice, there are several clothing stores as well as nail salons on site too!
These sites are definitely worth seeing!

QOTD: What was your dream job as a kid? . AOTD: I wanted to be princess. No one told me 😂 . I don’t know if you have read @viola_shipman yet, but if you enjoy women’s fiction, then you really should. She’s an auto buy author for me and my mom. Edge of summer is an emotional look at the past few years and a journey through ally those repercussions. Very insightful and entertaining. . Bestselling author Viola Shipman delights with this captivating summertime escape set along the sparkling shores of Lake Michigan, where a woman searches for clues to her secretive mother's past Devastated by the sudden death of her mother—a quiet, loving and intensely private Southern seamstress called Miss Mabel, who overflowed with pearls of Ozarks wisdom but never spoke of her own family—Sutton Douglas makes the impulsive decision to pack up and head north to the Michigan resort town where she believes she’ll find answers to the lifelong questions she’s had about not only her mother’s past but also her own place in the world. Recalling Miss Mabel’s sewing notions that were her childhood toys, Sutton buys a collection of buttons at an estate sale from Bonnie Lyons, the imposing matriarch of the lakeside community. Propelled by a handful of trinkets left behind by her mother and glimpses into the history of the magical lakeshore town, Sutton becomes tantalized by the possibility that Bonnie is the grandmother she never knew. But is she? As Sutton cautiously befriends Bonnie and is taken into her confidence, she begins to uncover the secrets about her family that Miss Mabel so carefully hid, and about the role that Sutton herself unwittingly played in it all. . #bookstagram #bookstagrammer #picoftheday #instadaily #bookish #tbr #newrelease #instabook #fyp #foryou #photooftheday #romance #love #bookworm #instagood #instagram #bookish #booklover #readerscorner #amreading #bestseller #sew #sewistsofinstagram #needleandthread (at Columbus, Ohio) https://www.instagram.com/p/Chkvb4MvbRZ/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=

I just had an idea.
Could you imagine a crossover between Camp Camp and Gravity Falls?
It's the year after the events of each series.
After Cameron Campbell gets demoted, David has to find another way of keeping the camp afloat (other camps sell shit, like cookies and pop corn, but he can't get the campers to actually make something w/o making an absolute mess), so he has to resort in finding a sponsor.
He picks up every flayer he see in town offering money (Max (who now lives with David, you will have to fight me on that) makes sure the guy's not walking in on a very obvious scam, straight up destroying the shady flayers), and he comes across an offering from a few towns over. A researcher of the supernatural asking for sightings of said supernatural kind, in exchange for a weirdly large sum of money.
At first, both Max and David opt for getting rid of it. But then, of all combination of people, both Quartermaster and Cameron Campbell vouch for this "Stanford Pines" (unbeknownst to all of them for vastly different reasons. You see, QM was referring to a colleague of a "friend" of his that went missing after an experiment. Campbell, on the other hand, was thinking of an old partner in crime, a fellow scambag).
Max tries to convince David that if those two are agreeing on something like that, it means you shouldn't listen to them! Actually, you shouldn't listen to them at all, so if they both say the same thing, you should be actively avoiding whatever they were talking about.
But then he investigates himself and... Well... It actually seems legit. So they can't really pass up an opportunity like that. The camp needs the money, it sure as hell is full of weird supernatural cryptic shit, so why not! It was just a weird guy with a weirdly large amount of money he had nothing to do with.
So Gwen calls (not David. He gets stressed out when it comes to doing business with people) and they settle on an agreement.
So when summer comes around they're greeted by the sight of not one, not three, but two new campers! And a pig. The pig is also there. Waddle deserves the world.
When they arrive, Dipper and Mabel, are greeted by an overly (and frankly conceningly) happy young adult and the angstiest 10yo they had ever met. And also by the biggest amount of swear words they had ever heard in such a short period of time.
Even Grunkle Stan avoided excessive swearing in front of them.
Most of the time.
When he told them they would all spend the summer in a summer camp, they were a little bummed. When his twin said it was because the place seemed to have an abnormal amount of weird sighting, Dipper began packing immediately (he started his own journal with his own findings from the past summer, and he wasn't going to pass up this opportunity). When he told Mabel that she would have all the arts and craft supplies her heart desired, and that she could spend the summer making sweaters and scrapbooks with others that shared the same hobbies she started packing furiously as well.
Even though they weren't aware there was just one other kid there for arts and crafts.
They were going to miss Soos, Wendy and the others, but they had promised to visit over the summer.
The twins where sure they were going to be the odds ones out there, but they didn't think it was going to be because they're the most normal.
The various campers introduce themselves and all four Pines have a near heart attack when Harrison shows up.
Stanford nearly dropkicks the kid when he does real, honest to god magic in front of him.
Dipper makes friends with Nikki, Neil and Nerris, mostly. While kinda drooling on Ered (which Mabel endlessly teases him about).
While Mabel gets along with most everyone, even if she struggles acting normal with Harrison, and gets frustrated by Max.
They felt weird about being the oldest ones there (apart from Ered, who's 1 year older than them. I think she was at least a teen when camp started, since the campers acted like Dipper and Mabel did with Wendy and her friends), but they manage.
David decides to change the rooming charts and puts Dipper in the same tent as Max.
Since the new kid can't shut up and keeps asking questions, Max decides to tell him what he wants to know in hopes to get him to stay quiet.
He tell him about the ghost on Spooky island (who David can't know about), the weird ex-fish guy in the lake, Harrison who can just do actual magic, the previous camp overrun by squirrels and Quartermaster.
He's still a little shit, so he doesn't actually explain what about Quartermaster makes him suitable for what he's looking for, because he thinks it's funnier if he figures it out on his own.
That's all I have tbh. I'd write it but I'm not too good with Gravity Falls and I wouldn't do it justice. So if anyone does I'd be happy to read it.

365 days movie review
Okay, where do I even start in describing the 365 days movie? Okay imagine like Beauty and the Beast but instead of being a Disney movie, it's a porno. Let's figure out what the hell Netflix got going on, okay so 365 Days and DNI basically translated in English means 365 days. It's a Polish movie that came out in February and recently made its way east United States by way of Netflix. It's based on an erotic book written by Blanca Lipinski. The movie adaptation here was written and directed by Barbara B Louis and Tomas climb ala.
365 Days cast and plot 365 Days/ 365 DNI softcore porn movie on netflix reviewThere is an 85% chance that there's a hundred percent chance that I said those names are wrong but onward the film stars Anna Maria as Laura said cuca and Michelle Moronne as Massimo maybe let's get into the plot here.  The movie starts where you see some sort of like mafia activity, there's a dude named Massimo and he's talking to his dad on this nice rooftop and the dad tells the son the most popular movie line in history you know what son one day you have to run the family business That's all good but the son is kind of distracted he's got these binoculars and he's looking down on the beach and he sees his beautiful woman. The next thing you know the dad just gets shot by some snipers on like another roof and literally just dies in his son's arms. Take the first three minutes of the movie cuts to five years later and Massimo is now indeed running this Italian mafia at the same time. That same beautiful woman that he saw these binoculars, her name's Laura she's on vacation in Sicily that's in Italy for those of you counting at home she's celebrating her birthday with her boyfriend who kind of sucks at being a boyfriend.
Coincidentally on that same birthday trip, Massimo randomly sees her at the airport and follows her to the resort that she's staying at we find out that Massimo has spent the last five years searching the globe for this woman and this is wild because it's basically like you're riding the train and you see the love of your life. She gets off the train all of a sudden five years later you pull up at Wendy's and there she is is Wendy's canceled anyway, back to Italy Massimo pulls up on her as soon as she's separated from her friends and kidnaps her yep on her freaking birthday. Massimo now has this girl from Poland all the way in Italy away from all her friends and family takes away her phone and her laptop and tells her ''I'm gonna give you a chance to fall in love with me'' what a treat Massimo what a freaking treat. He tells Laura that he'll never force himself on her and if she doesn't fall in love with him in 365 days uh-huh, he'll set her free she has a whole year to fall in love with this dude but in less than two months she's in love and my TV goes from Netflix to sex flix and off we go we got a movie so what's my take you might be wondering how I found out about this damn movie duh. Was the sex scenes real in 365 days? Well, sources have confirmed that it was NOT.
Check this airport, airplane girl scene in 365 days. (Explicit)
Lord of mouth is that wordplay yes it is but first things first this movie it was met with a lot of criticism and not just because it's about an hour and 54 minutes of freaky deeky sex but because some critics are saying it glorifies Stockholm Syndrome what Stockholm Syndrome you might ask that's John Stockton  Syndrome is when it's like when you fall in love with being kidnapped no it's when you are a kidnapper who loves no it's because that's the only make sense as when you got kidnapped right you know what let's just someone else can explain this. The robbery that named the condition Stockholm Syndrome is generally defined as the occurrence, were hostages form emotional attachments to their captors and/or begin to feel sympathy for them.
Criminologist and psychiatrists Nils Boudreau first coined the term Stockholm Syndrome in 1973 that year four people were held hostage during a bank robbery in Stockholm Sweden yet upon being released the hostages didn't show any anger towards their captor instead they defended him and even refused to testify against him in court since then Stockholm Syndrome has been spotted in various situations. It has been recorded in victims of sexual abuse human trafficking discrimination terror and political and religious oppression as well.
365 days Actors Instagram 1)Anna Maria 2)Michelle Morrone
Okay you Maxton points there and in this movie, Massimo is a mob boss so he has to a ton of money you can take her shopping and buy all this fly when she finally admits that she's in love with him, Massimo lets her have her cell phone back her laptop back so she lets her best friend pull up and her best friends like a girl you're trapped in a gold cage you're not really in love and Laura trying to convince her best friend that she actually is in love. There's actually FBI evidence that shows only 8% of kidnapping victims show any signs of Stockholm Syndrome so might not be as prevalent as we think it is but I in say it's an FBI why don't we use these are these Wikipedia I didn't make this up let's say we take the controversial nature of the movie away is it worth the watch?
No of course not from a storyline or acting standpoint but if you've been in quarantine for 90 days 13 hours and 26 minutes and you have the desire to see what I imagine is a 20/20 version of Fifty Shades of Grey Mazal find out what the hype is about these sex scenes are so damn steamy there's a good chance and I'm pregnant you know when you used to watch skinemax, I mean I don't have that channel but I would imagine thinking okay obviously they're not really having sex when you're watching 365 Days movie online.
If you really want to watch or stream 365 Days Online, don't forget to check out this link in the English version.
I like you know it's not real but then you be thinking is that real because it'd be looking real but it can't be real could it be who knows, what they're allowed to do in Poland. I guess I'm gonna give 365 Days a 2.5 stars. 365 days movie was rated   3.3/10 on IMDB and no consensus yet on Rotten Tomatoes.   I probably would've given it two stars but it's at least I have to start with that movie sex in there obviously if you do watch this movie the ending will have you questioning if there's room for a sequel, I mean if a second movie of 365 dni is possible or not. There's been no news of another 365 dni movie but don't worry this book actually is a trilogy and the second book came out in 2018 and with this movie doing so well in Poland and now killing it in the United States on Netflix. 365 days had a $9.5 million at the box office. There are some beautiful songs and soundtracks in 365 dni movie:
Michele Morrone-Hard For Me Ghost Monroe-I Am The Fire The Rigs-The Hunted Michele Morrone-Dark Room Nick Kingsley & Hannah Hart-You Made A Monster Alex Condlife & Lamb Hands-You Michele Morrone-Watch Me Burn Malo-Kiss Me Röyksopp-Here She Comes Again  The Venice Connection-The Times Of Our Lives "- Everybody Loves An Outlaw-I See Red Fly Project-Toca Toca SATV Music-Finish Line
Robin Loxley & Smudge Mason-Coming Back Everybody Loves An Outlaw-Give Em Hell Mabel-Don’t Call Me Up  Raphael Lake, Aaron Levy & Daniel Ryan Murphy-Prisoner Raphael Lake-Another Wave  Lee Richardson, Jonathan Murill, Tom Ford-Here Comes The Thunder Theo Chinara & Craig Hardy-Lost In Your Eyes Michele Morrone-Feel It Everybody Loves An Outlaw-I See Red
Check this out here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZnRpxw2UlXQ
Talking about the ending, did Laura died or got pregnant with Nacho's child? Well, we don't really know, some say she was simply kidnapped and some believed she could have been killed by Massimo's rivals. I'm pretty sure we haven't seen the last of Massimo's but as always thanks for checking out Movies Reviewer, who knew that I had so much range that I could also do softcore porn reviews, what a time if you fill in the post make sure you share this posts as much as possible every week you never know what you're gonna get if you've seen this movie let me know in the comments if you want to see a sequel if you haven't seen this movie let me know in the comments if you plan to see this movie thanks for reading, see you with another Movie Review.

This postcard shows a view of Lake Rotorua from near Ohinemutu, with St Faith's Church at the far right.  There are waka and a steamship on the lake, with Mokoia Island in the background. The illustrator Benoni White extends the Maori theme to the borders, with Maori tools and carvings at left and right. The handwritten inscription written to  Miss Mabel Drury of Auckland talks of a J C Williamson production "A country girl" at His Majesty's Theatre. This is likely to be the production of 1904, although the same musical was also performed by Williamson's company in 1907.

'Get to Know Me' meme
Looks like I was tagged by my wonderful friend @choc-chip-pancakes! Thanks, you lovely little bean, you! uwu *hugs*
Rules: Answer the questions and then tag 20 blogs you’d like to get to know better.
Nickname: Danni, short for Danielle.
Zodiac Sign: Libra ♎
Height: 5'2". I could very easily earn myself a spot in the 'Shorty Squad'. ;w; Last thing you googled: According to my Google browsing history (I had to look because I Googled a variety of things late last night), my last search was for 'Nickelodeon Party Blast'. It's a really old video game; think it came out in 2002. I was interested in seeing how many games Invader ZIM was featured in, so that was just the last of MANY Nick-game-related searches. :P
Favourite Music Artist: BUT...I HAVE SO M A N Y. Seriously, though, Imagine Dragons, Fall Out Boy, and Owl City are my absolute favorites.
Song stuck in my head: I don't have anything STUCK IN MY HEAD right now, but I'm currently listening to Gypsy Woman by Hilary Duff on loop, so I'm sure that it WILL be stuck in my head before the night's over!
Last Movie you watched: Hop! Some people don't care for it, I know, but...I think it's adorable. ❤
Why did you choose your URL?: Well, originally, after deciding to ditch my old URL (that-silly-little-enigma, which sounded way too dumb and even pretentious to me after a while), I just wanted my URL to be 'spookysmores', just like my YouTube, Twitter, and Nintendo Network accounts. However, that was taken. I decided to add 'summer' to the URL for two reasons: one being that I wanted the 'spooky summer' part to tie into my love of Gravity Falls somehow, and the other being that I have many fond memories of making s'mores around our neighbors' fire pit every summer, as well as during vacations at a family favorite lake resort out of town. Thus, 'spookysummersmores' was born! xP
Do you have any other blogs?: Yep! @askmysterytwinmabel. It's an ask blog in which I pose as Mabel Pines, people send 'Mabel' questions, I answer them using my Mabel impression, and I post the little audio posts I record. It's in...DIRE need of an update. I've been too busy to keep it running as of late, so it's been idle since February...xD
What did your last relationship teach you?: ...That my notion of platonic relationships being far superior to romance was confirmed? LOL...okay, in all seriousness...if the guy seems to sneak around everyone he knows while he's dating you, and you start having doubts...don't ignore it. Don't be naïve. Go with your instincts. Even if the relationship seems perfect otherwise. At the very least, confront him about it. Otherwise, you'll end up having your heart shattered.
Religious or Spiritual: Ah...I'm honestly not sure! Both, I suppose!
Favorite Colour: Pink, purple, and blue, for sure! ^-^
Average hours of sleep: Ranges from 4 to 12, depending on what day of the week it is and whether or not my body decides it's ready to try sleeping before 5am. xP
Lucky Number: Not a clue. xD
Favourite Characters: Mabel, Dipper, Stan, and Ford Pines, as well as Soos Ramirez and Wendy Corduroy; Zim, GIR, and Dib; Wander, Sylvia, Lord Hater, and Commander Peepers; Star Butterfly, Marco Diaz, Janna, and Ludo; Peridot (I love all the Crystal Gems aside from Lapis, though, and Greg and Connie as well!); Mickey Mouse (of COURSE), Wirt, Greg, and Beatrice; Jack Skellington; Calvin and Hobbes; Snoopy; Kirby; Luigi...I could go on forever, but that's a good chunk of them...xD How many blankets do you sleep with?: As many as humanly possible. 2, at the very least. My sleep schedule is a complete joke to begin with, but I don't sleep at ALL if I can't bundle up without getting heatstroke. xD
Dream Job?: Storyboard artist, writer, and/or animator at a television animation studio...either as a crew member on a team projec, or even on my OWN project, if I'm lucky enough to do so! Voice acting would be a blast as well. ^-^
Let's see...gonna tag @raindroplazuli, @stariousfalls, @dipdoptreetop, @artsymeeshee, @howtotrainyournana, @a-million-chromatic-dreams...and anyone else who wants to do this, really! And as always, those who were tagged aren't obligated to do this; just do it if you want to and have the time to. owo

Children attending Dance Camp will learn a variety of dance styles, routines and tricks, and use their creativity to develop their own dances. The camp will conclude with a final dance show for family and friends.
Lauren says:
"I loved every second of my time at The Campus and can't wait to return to and work with more enthusiastic kids in July this summer. The ethos of the class is to have fun and develop their dance skills and the smiles on all the faces confirmed we found the perfect balance last time.”

Sean Moriarty, Chief Executive of Quinta do Lago, says the dance camps are a great addition to The Campus as Europe's premier multi-sport and wellness destination for family sports and activity holidays.

ABOUT LAUREN JAMIESON
Lauren began dancing at the age of 15 at a local dance school that purely focused on street dance. She quickly began competing and at the age of 17, won UDO World Street Dance Championships.  After spending some time studying in Glasgow, Lauren moved to London on acceptance to The Urdang Academy where she trained for four years.
In her 4th year of training, she was very fortunate to experience the dance industry as well as continue her training. She danced on the opening of Strictly Come Dancing and was cast in the pantomime, Peter Pan as Tiger Lily and a dancer alongside a celebrity line up.
Just before graduating in 2016, Lauren secured herself a once in a lifetime contract with Celebrity Cruises and for 9 months, travelled to 25 different countries as a dancer and aerialist.
Since returning to London in summer 2017, Lauren has danced for pop artists such as Dua Lipa, Mabel, Not3s, Steps and more. She has appeared on The Brit Awards, a Bollywood movie and worked for companies such as British Airways, Adidas, Apple and Wella.
Lauren is still working as a professional dancer, plus she has started her own business, ‘The Wedding Steps Company’, teaching couples their first wedding dance. She is also a qualified yoga instructor.
Lauren is currently in Abu Dhabi working towards the opening and closing ceremony of The Special Olympics. Lauren will be performing with a number of well-known artists in the coming weeks before heading to The Campus for Dance Camp.

Stanford Pines Application: Accepted
Name/Alias: Rosenthorne (Or Jess or Thorne)
Preferred Pronouns: She/her/They/Them
Age: 29
Time Zone: Central
Discord name: *Private* (since you already know who it is 8U)
Triggers: Not much. Bit of a crime buff so I’ve seen/read a few morbid things. Or a lot. Don’t like feet.
Personal/About Yourself: I can be nice and squeaky clean or I can be downright morbid and not so clean. Depends on the situation. I’m a stickler for canon when it comes down to it. Not much for romance but I can write for it when the mood allows. I have written a LOT of smut in my day though. I love the strange, the unique, dark humor, dark stuff in general.
Fandom: Gravity Falls
Character Name: Stanford Filbrick Pines
Headcanon Age: Young to Adult (But like 15 minutes older than Stan XD)
Headcanons About Character:
-Asexual, aromantic. This is mainly for the fact that in Journal 3 he wrote that he found ‘romance more baffling to him than the greatest mysteries of the universe’.  If that doesn’t scream asexual, I don’t know what does.
-Despite being asexual, he is very touch starved. He wants people to talk to him. He doesn’t mind hugs, holding hands, platonic cuddles, laying side by side while talking about anything really (it doesn’t have to be science based), etc, from those who are very close to him. He will always do what he can for those who mean a lot to him.  Any unsolicited touching without his acknowledgement of who it is will usually end with someone’s arm twisted behind their back and on their stomach on the floor out of reflex.
-Has a hard time opening up to people and is still learning on how to do so. This is the result of being viciously bullied growing up with Stan as his only friend. This makes being touch starved even worse.
-He did love DDMD in middle school on up and tried to join the local clubs full of other nerds who adored the game, however he was shunned and avoided like the plague due to his extra fingers. Undeterred, Ford continued to make OCs and strategies in hopes that one day he’d have friends to play it with.
-He would quickly finish his tests in school and, instead of turning it in, ‘accidentally’ leave it somewhere that Stan could cheat off him. While Stan did this, Ford would use this time to draw or read paranormal books.
-Terrified of swimming in open water at a young age, opposite of Stan’s fear of heights. He slowly grew accustomed to the idea of sailing when Stan started to weave the idea of adventures on the high seas. He did have a fascination with boats despite his fear and he had tried learning to swim in a community pool, making him a mediocre swimmer.  After he arrived in Gravity Falls, he included swimming in the lake as part of his exercise regimen. He had hoped to swim the areas Nessie or Ogopogo had been rumored to be.
-After Ford closed the curtains on Stan when he was kicked out, Ford sunk to his knees and cried while hugging a pillow. Time was lost to him (he spent two weeks in his room, barely eating what his mother brought to him or going anywhere). His heart and trust had been shattered by the only person he had ever trusted. During that time, his father started to beat ideas into his head, building him up to a more egotistical persona, one that re-sparked his interest in inventing and school. He made Ford believe he was better than everyone, that he was special and only people like him were destined for something greater. However, the motives to get Ford moving again was not without want of personal gain. Filbrick still wanted those potential millions. These motives have severely harmed Ford’s ability to forgive Stanley. Ford is slowly unlearning what his father had instilled in him.
-To Filbrick’s dismay, Ford did not go down the path of ‘potential millions’ right away. The father had tried to make Ford change his mind about going out west to pursue his interests in favor of being hired on as a scientist somewhere. However, the flattery had made Ford a bit more cynical to the world around him. He did not share his grant money like his father expected him to. He pretty much cut ties with the rest of his family minus the occasional phone call to his mother.
-If it weren’t for his mother and later Fiddleford and Bill in his early years, Ford would have been worse off. When he throws himself into his work, he forgets to take care of himself. He wouldn’t shower for weeks on end, forget to eat or sleep to the point of passing out and would often forget what day or year it was.
-Loves horror movies and has somewhat identified with the monsters but greatly criticizes them. He has never showed any fear toward ‘old school’ horror movies. However, he hates jump scares and will react violently to them out of reflex.
-Ford’s trench coats have been modified to be ‘bags of holding’ through a technique he learned while traversing the universe. When you look into one of the many pockets, you find nothing but a void of stars and nebulae which pretty much are ‘pocket dimensions’. **BU-DUM-TISS** He could pull more than a live rabbit out of any one of them at any moment. Probably an extinct Dodo bird or a mini noodle dragon.
-Ford has doodles all throughout Journal 1 and 2 of characters he created for DDMD. He also has a strategy journal floating around the shack somewhere that contains some of his best material that has been lost for years.
-He buys ALL of his clothes in bulk, sometimes the boots already have their own mud stains or have them printed on them at all times. It’s a look Ford loves. Speaking of looks, not all of his black pants are actual pants. Some of them are spandex or yoga pants in case he’s afraid he may rip normal pants when having to do something athletic.
-Yes, he does have 12 PHDs. He earned one on earth but the rest were earned during the 30 years he was away. None of them are in the medical field. That’s what spells are for. One has to wonder if the other eleven are even valid in our dimension. Even he ponders that but will probably aggressively state that they are.
-Everyone expects him to like classical music. While, yes, this is true, he actually took a liking to rock and alternative music. However, he somehow knows all the lyrics to songs that were not made in his time, possibly from a parallel timeline where he got his PHDs.
-He has commissioned Mabel to make him a knitted Plaidipus plush that he shamelessly sleeps with every night. Its name is ‘Theory’.
-Ford keeps up an exercise regimen that he doesn’t force on anyone. He couldn’t care less about anyone’s physical prowess unless they wanted to adventure with him. He doesn’t want them hurt. He only comments on his brother to rile him up from time to time. Sibling rivalry and all.
-Ford has killed before and he will kill again if he has to. He doesn’t like talking about it but most of his kills were the result of either protecting himself or someone or getting something he desperately needs.
-He has a lot of scarring all across his body. While he will admit half of them were from his years in the multiverse, a good chunk of them were from Bill after he found out that Bill was plotting against him.
-After Stan’s memory recovery and his adrenaline came down, Ford had to be taken to the hospital as a result of Bill’s torture on top of the ride in the alien shuttle that would have taken him to an intergalactic prison. He didn’t stay there long. In fact, after he was bandaged up, he declared himself healed and walked right out the front door. Remember, none of his PHDs were in medical. He probably memorized a healing spell.
-Ford may be looking into changing his name after seeing the list of charges Stan put on his legal name. Yeah.
-He and Fiddleford keep a close connection. When he isn’t skyping the kids on his adventures with Stan or spending time with Stan, he is talking with Fiddleford. They pretty much rekindled their bromance. He somewhat owes his life to Fiddleford for all the times the man had saved him from his own stubbornness.
-With Dipper turning down Ford’s offer of apprenticeship, Ford has turned his sights to another adventure loving child who was more local and could probably keep up with him like, if not better than, Dipper had. Wendy. However, during their first adventure out, instead of voicing her opinion on a matter, she ended up knocking sense into him with the back side of her axe. The clanging of it against the metal plate in his head echoed throughout the woods.
.
Example Writing Piece:
There he was. Lying flat on his back on the kitchen floor of his cabin with a bewildered look on his face as a pair of long, twiggy legs draped over his chest and hugged around his arm that was outstretched and held fast against a thin chest. Never in his life did he think he could have been taken down so easily by a man who claimed to be a complete pacifist.
“Say it!” Fiddleford panted, tightening his grip on the arm some while lying on his own back, perpendicular to Ford’s body.
“Never!” Ford snapped out of his bewilderment and started to try to struggle against the hold. “They’re nothing but a stupid fashion trend!”
“Facts are facts! Leg warmers are a practical piece of clothin’!”
“What warmth could you possibly get from leg warmers?!”
“Not all of us have paddin’ in the winter, Stanferd!” the assistant growled and twisted the arm. A yelp echoed off the walls as Ford tried to manage to get the upper hand. He should have been able to dominate this… whatever it was. He was a good bit stronger than his friend. When Ford found that he was not going to get out of the hold without resorting to dirty tactics that would hurt Fiddleford, he sighed and smacked his open palm on the floor next to him to tap out. “Ah ah! Ya gotta say it!”
“No!”
“Say it’s practical! I ain’t lettin’ go until you do!”
“Fine! Leg warmers are practical! Now get off!” Ford tried to remain irritated but then started laughing at the whole situation. All this over leg warmers? Well, now he had a topic to get under his friend’s skin other than his cubic’s cube. Maybe next time he’d get a running start.
