hello all~ i'm kaio and i'm another roleplayer on the hunt for partners for some 1x1s or similar threads on discord! some stuff about me: i'm 21+, in the est timezone, go by she/they pronouns and my triggers are disordered eating and self harm! i'm fine with any ship dynamic, be it f/m, f/f, m/m etc. love is love and chemistry is chemistry! one thing i'm not comfortable with though are huge age gaps, so i likely won't go beyond a 5 year difference for romantic pairings (depending on the muse ages).
some general plots or verse types i really enjoy are: light mysticism or studio ghibli inspired plots (howl's moving castle and kiki's delivery service are massive favorites), werewolf pack/vampire coven plots, apocalyptic or fallout inspired plots, mafia power couple plots and road trips or traveling/vacation plots! below the cut are some of my favorite fcs to play as well as some more detailed plots i'd love to do! and if you think i'd be a good rp partner for you, just interact with this post, message me or add me on discord at kaiocherry!

plot one: muse a, a resourceful petty thief, has just been released after a four year prison sentence for the murder of their partner, which they did not commit. just before they were killed, muse a's partner revealed to them the location of a safety deposit box, containing evidence of corruption carried out by a wealthy businessman whose goons then committed the real murder before framing muse a. muse b unknowingly works for the corrupt businessman and is engaged to his heir with a wedding rapidly approaching. now, they are tasked with ensuring that muse a leaves town now that they're out of prison. muse a begs muse b to help clear their name of murder accusations and get to the safety deposit box, something muse b reluctantly agrees to even though they are in the midst of a wedding rush among other errands set upon them by their underhanded boss. muse a and muse b begin falling for each other, complicating things even further, while neither of them yet realize their ties to the same man. (inspired by the 1987 film 'who's that girl'. i can explain this better if need be! i tried to condense it as much as possible.)
plot two: muse a and muse b have been together for four long years, and just as they thought things were progressing to the next level, a huge fight ends their relationship. the only problem is that they're both on pretty tight budgets, so neither of them can afford to move out of the apartment they share together right now. an awkward bridge forms between them as the forced time together makes them start reminiscing about the good times and whether they really want to throw it all away.

So Hunter is irredeemable for *checks notes* taking note of Willow's abilities and wanting to grant her the highest possible honor of joining the Emperor's Coven, but Boscha is fine and an acceptable partner for her despite constantly belittling her and her abilities, actively bullying her for years, and literally calling her half a person because of her level of magic? Always figured your obsession with Willow and Skara was mainly you fetishizing lesbians, thanks for clarifying that's true.

I like how Hunter utilizing state power to kidnap a bunch of kids so he can force them into a life of servitude and giving 0 fucks about their consent until he remembers their pets is framed as granting some sort of honor. Especially when he saw Willow having an emotional breakdown and blaming herself for putting her friends into this horrific situation and didn’t realize he was being a POS until the show gives him not one, but TWO other moments to reflect on his actions.
Remember folks: Bullies are irredeemable. But the right hand military leader of a fascistic cult can be forgiven for, how you say, *checks notes*:
Attacking Amity after she offers to help him, then threatening her life with state-backed violence when it’s clear he can’t take what he wants in a fair fight.
Seemingly throwing away whatever friendship he was developing with Luz by then threatening her life to get what he wants, which is to steal the only way Luz could even go home.
Lying to Willow about his identity for an entire afternoon so he could get close to them, before doing all the stuff we already talked about.
Just so long as they are sad + edgy + you pretend the first two things didn’t happen and he was too stupid to realize the last one was bad (despite him knowing kidnapping friends is bad in ‘Hunting Palismen’ but whatever).
‘But he was abused' - Yes and thats bad - I've never critiqued him for being abused, but also being abused doesn't make all his actions okay, and not without at least a modicum of self-reflection the show itself could barely muster because Disney axed it before it got the chance to - Stop making excuses for corporations who side with fascists for the love of God!
But like, a quick request for Huntlow Fans and the Owl House fandom broadly: Can someone please tell me when it became acceptable to allow just outright, blatant homophobia so long as it defended Hunter?
Because that’s unironically what this is.
Liking or just being more okay with one or two f/f ships over a m/f one for reasons I've explicitly explained does not mean I ‘Fetishise lesbians’ - But you saying that that’s the ONLY reason you can imagine I like a f/f ship over an m/f one is fetishisation tells me you're the one sexualising f/f relationships inherently. And there’s a good chance you actually don't - But you'll legitimately say ANYTHING to defend even the smallest aspect of Hunter rather than just saying 'yeah, him kidnapping people was a bit messed up'.
Is anyone actually surprised that I have an issue with how this fandom treats Hunter when this is the shit I get?
I don’t even have an issue with Huntlow fans - I have an issue with people who act like this guy.
I just wanna enjoy my own niche ship and point out my criticisms of the show and how it handles things. I don’t need unironic homophobes barging in to tell me that I’m ‘fetishizing lesbians’ because I prefer a sapphic ship over the cannon straight one.

Eventually these two stories collide, along with a mystery involving murdered trolls.

probably my least favourite argument for h*ntlow and other m/f ships that fall in a same category is the “Implied/confirmed to be bi/pan makes it progressive and woke and good and it’s biphobia if you don’t like the ship” (I’ve also seen ‘it’s racist if you don’t like this ship’ for all the ships I’m referring to)
like. it’s not m/f ship hate, it’s not biphobia and it’s not because it’s not ‘progressive’, it’s because it’s not well done and yes, kind of heteronormative. I don’t think it really helps that Willow ditched her shorter hair around the time she started being paired off or that Willow, who has a problem with people ‘protecting’ her because she can protect herself, is fine with a Big Strong Boy saving her for some reason.
People always act like you’re crazy, biphobic or racist for disliking ships like h*ntlow, or glimb*w or s*amista because ‘the characters are implied/confirmed to be bi’ and the way it’s implied isn’t even damning evidence, just a blink-and-you’ll-miss-it moment or ‘this ship has a/POC in it so you’re racist for disliking it’ and just ???
It’s not entirely the fault of the show, but H*ntlow is not, imo, written well as a romantic relationship, mainly because there’s absolutely no stakes. Willow doesn’t hold a grudge for Hunter kidnapping her like, at all, because there wasn’t time to devote to having to earn trust back. Their friendship isn’t really integrated into Hunter leaving the coven, and they’re not important to each other in a significant way.
When writing a romance, the characters need three essential things to make their dynamic compelling. A) chemistry/compatibility B) something keeping them apart, a reason not to be dating and C) it has to feel like character A considers character B ‘special’, and vice versa.
H*ntlow doesn’t really have that. They don’t feel like they’re more important to each other than anyone else is, and there isn’t anything to really stop them from dating, which is why they’re semi-confirmed. I could go on but I’m not going to because I am. Tired of writing this post.

The war is winding down but the attempts on Harry's life are not. Ridding himself of the horcrux has released a raw power in Harry that many admire, but some want to eliminate.
Caught up in a mess of paranoia and exhausted from a year of constant battle, Harry needs an escape. Following the trail of an old letter from Ephraim Black, he takes refuge in Forks. — their birthday is april 5th, making them an aries. his rising sign is virgo and moon is leo.
— born and raised in fenrir’s wood to two well-known and cherished townsfolk, both within and outside the witch community. his family had adopted one child before he was born and then another after he was born.
— growing up, playing football was all they’ve ever dreamed of, and they were quite good at it. they ended up being scouted to play for Leicester City's starting team at the end of secondary school, but an accident during one of the last games of their first season completely destroyed his knee’s ligaments, thus destroying his chances of playing professional football.
— after that, kareem fell into depression, but with his family’s and friend’s, and of course, professional help, he was able to get back on his two feet. he studied chemistry and biology in uni and started working part-time in one of his family’s business: rue botanicals. a shop that made bodycare products with a hint of magic and that catered to each customer’s need.
— nowadays kareem not only is the shop’s chemist, but they’re also the current manager and their pretty contempt with their life.
— his relationship with his parents has been a little rocky ever since he’s decided to leave the coven they were all part of and join hel’s coven, because to him, it aligned more with how he wanted to pursue his magic.

Kareem was born to Neesa and Amir Baksh, two well-known and cherished townsfolk, both within and outside the witch community. He'd always been deemed as miracle child, due the fact that his parents had been trying to conceive for a while, but with no success. He has two adoptive siblings, one older and the other younger than him.
To young Kareem, Fenrir's Wood was all there was in the world. It was tight-knit community with strong friendships they’d cultivated throughout the years, not to mention, a place that encouraged them to be the best one out there whenever he was in a football field. The crowd’s cheers have always been music to their ears and it was something they would never give up on. People knew who they were, they called out their name on the streets to say hello, kids their age befriended them with ease and life was perfectly fine as it was. Due to his parents’ influence in town, Kareem had always felt this sort of pressure to excel in everything, especially in school. They were the perfect ‘golden boy’ as some people would refer to them back then, because not only, they were great playing football, but they also excelled in school.
His family owns some businesses in town, including Coffeekanteen and one of Fenrir's Wood’s most popular shops: Rue Botanicals; a place that for the last forty years has been making bodycare products on demand, with a touch of magic on them to cater to each customer’s needs. And there, was where Kareem was brought up. They were taught how everything worked around the shop and even served costumers as a summer job, but their priority back then had always been football.
On their last year of secondary school, they were scouted to play for some teams across England. They chose to leave home and play for Leicester City's starting team, where they promised Kareem glory, fame and all of those fancy words that would make an ambitious teenager unable to say no to, and that would, hopefully make them grow and end up in their heart's team: Arsenal. It was all working out too well for them, no promises were broken on the team’s part, but during one of their games right at the end of that year’s football season, Kareem had a terrible accident that took them out of that year’s games and putting a serious question-mark on his promising career.
After learning that they wouldn’t be able to play football at his fullest anymore due to a serious lesion on their knee’s ligaments, Kareem fell into a depressive state, which brought them back home to Fenrir's Wood. It took him a lot of support from his friends and family, not to mention, psychological treatment to get back on their two feet. They went back to university, finding a home in their second passion: science. They studied and graduated suma cum laude in both Chemistry and Biology while also working for his family’s shop as a part-timer.
They now works as a chemist and is the current manager of Rue Botanicals. On slow days, they can be easily found sipping on a cup of coffee and eating a freshly baked good at Coffeekanteen, where one of his siblings works. His mother is currently the city's mayor, which sometimes bring some tension to his shoulders, in expectancy to be an exemplary progeny. Especially after leaving the Saga Coven and finding a new home in the Hel Coven due to pure affinity with the coven’s beliefs.
The change has rocked his relationship with his parents a little, but in the surface, Neesa and Amir act like it doesn’t bother them both. They also volunteers at the local primary school as the football coach of the girls’ team, which is where his niece goes to.

The sole daughter of a couple of immigrants from Senegal, Adama was born and raised in Holloway, surrounded by magic, along with two older brothers. Her parents, being somewhat of high status in the African witch community, came to the United States due to business opportunities in Raleigh, and ended up settling in Holloway, also finding a definitive place within the Hollow Coven.
Adama practices Ancient Magic, but ever since she could remember, she’s had an affinity with the Earth element. From an early age, her hunger for knowledge had her devouring her grandmother’s books on herbs and on how they could be both medicinal and dangerous to people.
As she grew, so did her ambitions. She kept on studying herbs, as well as getting her double major in Chemistry and Biology, and then cutting down to a few cosmetology and herbalism courses to finally put into practice a dream she’s had: to open her own shop selling products for the body, hair and skin care with a little hint of magic in them (and she takes on personalized requests too, of course).
She is very warm, motherly and easy to talk to, but don’t step on her toes because she will bite back. She is also very vocal about what she considers it to be right or wrong for witches within her coven, the Hollow Coven. When she’s not working, you can spot her either at a cafe munching on something sweet, or at the bar, picking on the gossip and trying to unwind after a long day.

The Clave was searching for one Jonathan Morgenstern and his sudden dessaparition. They find a trace in Nowhere, Oregon according to Alec's debrief. A place where nothing supernatural happens, a place where The Clave has zero Institutes.
A place with only mundanes.
So, if that was truth, why did they find traces of Vampires and why a singled out, nomada vampire told them about Jonathan being sheltered by a Vampire Coven?
Alec didn't know. He wanted the mission to be over already. Fork is cold as fuck, the rundown house given by the clave drips water into the middle of the living room and he misses Magnus' kisses already.
Oh, did he forgot to add that he need to reverse his attitude to the one he sported while being a teenager? Yeah, that too. He could never be a teenager and be out of the closed.
Alec is so done with it all.
