Darcy had never believed that soulmarks were the be-all and end-all of relationships, so when she met Ian Boothby she was delighted to find that he held similar views and allowed herself to quickly fall in love with him. Going to Nepal (or is it Tibet?) for an isolated spiritual retreat where there was no chance of meeting their actual soulmates (they were both late December) really appealed to her. Except—of course—Ian meets his soulmate and has a complete change of mind, leaving Darcy to find her way home at the busiest time of the year.
