Efficient Time Management

During quarantine, I spend a lot of time on Lynda dot com. One of the course, I found really helpful is “Efficient Time Management.” I jotted down some notes, to keep. 

So, what are repeating time wasters?

A task you can have schedule on autopilot. An alarm clock is a good example. 

Looking for things. Put things in the same place.

You want to have a reliable foundation. This includes:

computer

phone

car

You only have 24 hours a day, and 8-9 hours you are asleep. The key is “Don’t tolerate anything inefficient or unreliable.”

This makes me so happy and so proud. I remember last year taking a Lynda.com class for work on goals and something stuck. It spoke of making small goals vs a big one. How simple and silly it might seem but it has made a difference. Day 4 of the #5daydraw challenge from Von Glitschka at #lyndadotcom - #drawing with found objects. For this, the idea was to use a random trinket as an element in a drawing. The two objects I found were an old VGA adapter and a lime green binder clip. The shape of the adapter looks like the torso of a robotic suit, and the binder clip sort of looks like a miniature purse... So I came up with this odd little scene. One more day to go!
