Ok I’m gonna be real here. I really really really like Karkat, because he’s someone I can relate to a LOT. I see a LOT of myself in Karkat, and it’s really nice to be able to have a character like that. Like, weirdly enough, analyzing Karkat has helped me realize a lot of things about myself? This isn’t very Karkat kinnie of me to say but genuinely kinning Karkat has probably helped me a lot in figuring out who I am.

Anything negatively I could say about Karkat would essentially just be me talking about my own flaws and probably end up in me beating myself up about that but I have decided I deserve better than that and I’ll just leave this without an answer.

Cannot express how uncomfortable Davejadekat makes me. It probably wouldn’t have bothered me like 2 years ago but after it started gaining some attention, presumably only because of the epilogues, it’s started to really make me uncomfortable. Mostly due to the association with the epilogues (and also one  person I used to know that makes me uncomfortable for unrelated reasons).

I talk about this a lot but FUCK I really love headcanoning Karkat as demiaroace. It just... makes a lot of sense, given his whole fucking experience with romance. I’ve even written a fic about it.

unpopular opinion

Karkat actually cares about his friends a lot, and, if anything, is actually really hyperempathetic. People just don’t want to see past his facade he put up particularly in Act 5 Act 1.
