I was inspired to write this story by the picture where he is standing at the door of the hotel room and she is walking towards him. It's one of those famous sociag photos where you see a bed in the photo 😉 But otherwise the story fits more into the end of last year. Your Strawberry

He liked to watch her as she got ready. Today her hair was slightly curly and he thought it looked very good on her. She had put on subtle make-up and even some lipstick. But when she came out of the bathroom, it had taken his breath away. She was wearing a tight blue trouser suit. It gave her a gorgeous silhouette and he felt his body stir. In his mind he cursed the appointment they had to keep today. Then he watched her put on her jewellery and had to smile as she slipped on the rings he had given her. Pride filled him because she was his wife. Finally, she slipped into the shoes that matched her suit and reached for her handbag. Then she looked at him, turned and asked with a grin, "Satisfied?"

He nodded, beaming, and she turned towards the door. Just before she could open the door, however, he pressed his hand against it. Slowly she turned to face him and leaned against the closed door. She knew this game inside out because it played over and over again. "You look sexy as hell," he moaned, looking at her eagerly. "Just one kiss," he demanded. She shook her head and pressed her hand against his chest to keep him from getting too close to her lips. "You'll ruin everything," she declared with a smile. "If I don't kiss you now, I won't make it through the evening," came from him miserably.

He expected another rejection and was amazed when she said seductively: "Show me how much you want me." Irritated at her change of mind, he backed away slightly. She tugged at his tie, "Kiss me." Almost shocked, he allowed himself to be drawn to her and, eyes wide open, gave her a quick kiss. Then he pulled back and declared almost desperately, "We have to go." He earned a hearty laugh in return. "You should see your face."

"Are you kidding me?" he asked, shocked. "No. I actually want you to make true what is written in your eyes. I want you to kiss me passionately, rip my clothes off my body and take me back to bed," she threw at him passionately, adding, "For once, I want to see you make true what you've promised me so many times." "But we don't have time for that today either," he said wistfully. "That's wrong. You and I don't have an appointment tonight and we can do whatever we want," she grinned. He looked at her in amazement. "Your office called earlier. They mixed up our numbers. They wanted to tell you that dinner had to be postponed due to illness. But since I was almost ready, I figured this was my chance to finally get the benefit of your promises."

Laughing, he looked at her. "You really gave me a scare. What do you say you and I start over so I can do it right?" "I'm in." He let her go back into the room and watched her put her bag down. Then she turned again and asked, "Satisfied?" As the first time, he nodded and she walked towards the door. As she put her hand on the doorbell, he pressed his hand to the door and she turned to him, smiling. "You look sexy as hell," he repeated and then he changed his line. "I want so much more than just a kiss." She smiled seductively at him and whispered, "Show me how much you want me." No sooner had those words left her lips than he pressed himself against her and kissed her passionately.

When they had satisfied their desire for each other and lay entwined together in their bed, she sighed, "I've had to wait a long time for this." He laughed. "It was better than I always imagined," she confessed. "Much better," he confirmed.

I don't want to be the person who writes the 667th comment on The Devil & the Deep Blue Sea, so I'll have to come here instead to tell you (again) how much I love that fic! Every time I read it, I find something new to love. This time it's Bo and Louis' relationship. I love its ups and downs, and the intensity of Louis' pain and guilt during the worst of the downs. Every character is so well drawn, and I love how real all of the actions and repercussions feel. I come back to this story of second-chance lovers (probably tied with Persuasion as my 2 favorite stories in this genre) a couple of times each year.

I'm so grateful that you continue to share your talents with us, because I've loved everything you've written about Louis & Harry. I have to catch up with you - still have to finish Remember Me Before You and now your magic sex fic! I'm in awe of your amazingly prolific brain. Thanks again for sharing it with us!

Hello miss badapricot, I have been reading your lovely writer posts past few days and I love how you organize your thoughts and the way you articulate them. I also liked your fic ideas for them. I would really like to hear from you about how Gene finally fell in love with Nubsib, like how initially it was just mostly this hot dude who was flirting with him, and gradually he started getting charmed by the handsome bastard, and when he found out who Nubsib really was it sent his whole world into chaos because omg I totally get why he had a full on mental breakdown, imagine the little tinie tiny boy next door you played with as a child is now this Greek god devil you've been suppressing your boner for. Sheesh I'm not the most poetic. But maybe you can tell me your thoughts on how Gene realized and accepted his love for Nubsib, most importantly I'm searching for a reason for Gene to love sib not just because he's hot af but because he inexplicably makes him feel loved and cherished and taken care of and what not. I just want to hear it from you na krub. ☺️☺️☺️

Hello! I’m sorry this took me a few days to get to because your ask was so funny I wanted to come up with a really good response, because your way with words is just as good as mine.

If you’re asking me how Gene realized and accepted his love for Nubsib I can essentialize it down to a few key moments.

The first would be when Gene calls Nubsib to come and take care of him when he’s drunk. Gene is a very isolated person that hasn’t even let his own brother sleep in his condo but he trusts that Nubsib will come and take care of him after only knowing him for a short time, in part because of what happened in the previous episode. Nubsib soothed Gene’s nightmare and made him a big lunch for when he woke up. It isn’t the first time either as we see that Gene is very touched when Nubsib makes him food and reminds him to eat in earlier episodes. Nobody has taken care of Gene like that, mostly because he won’t let anyone close enough to even try. But Nubsib did, despite Gene’s performative complaining, and to me it made Gene feel protected and cared for, otherwise he wouldn’t have trusted Nubsib when he wasn’t in his right mind.

And Nubsib knows how much of a gift it is that Gene is trusting him, and clinging to him. I think that’s why he’s so protective and treats Gene so carefully once he picks him up. Nubsib proves that Gene was right to trust him and totally shocks Gene when he turns him down. Gene is certain that Nubsib just wants to f*ck him and wants to give it to him but Nubsib won’t because he cares about him too much. I think that realization—something Gene never even considered because his sole exposure to gay relationships are BL novels where non-consensual drunk sex is the norm—was a big part of Gene realizing his love for Nubsib. Gene never expected to be treated so preciously by him.

This isn’t a happy moment but I think another moment that really shows Gene realizing his love for Nubsib is his breakdown in the car. Gene is having a panic attack because he’s realizing that he’s in love with Nubsib and Nubsib is a liar. Nubsib might not even care about Gene. This might all be a prank. Gene is torn apart because he’s so disappointed in Nubsib and in himself for trusting his affection for him. Despite how he acts, Gene is a romantic and up until that point he did see Nubsib as a “perfect BL seme” to an extent. This is even shown in the OST where Nubsib is drawn as Prince Charming. But now Gene has to deal with the fact that Nubsib isn’t some prince, he might be someone completely different, and Gene’s given his heart to someone that he doesn’t even know.

A moment where I think Gene accepted his love for Nubsib would be at the garden mansion when Nubsib tells Gene how he became infatuated with him again when he saw Gene’s photo on Facebook. Nubsib was open, vulnerable, and honest and Gene rewarded that by consenting to a kiss without a lot of performative complaining for once. Because for Gene, it was the most honest Nubsib had been with him (barring his confessional speech on Gene’s lawn). Gene cuddling against Nubsib’s chest and resting there quietly felt like acceptance.

I would also point out a recurring theme more than a specific scene but Gene’s gradual submission to Nubsib’s wishes as their relationship goes on also feels like acceptance. Gene will still be combative when he feels that he’s being lied to, like when Nubsib drags him from the bathroom with Aey, but when he knows Nubsib has his best interest in mind he’ll accept what he asks for without complaint. 

We can see this when he promises Nubsib to let him know where he is and he keeps up with it in Episode 10. He tells Nubsib when he’s out with Hin and texts him before he goes to swim. The reason Gene trusts Nubsib is because of the contrast in their personalities. Gene knows that he’s emotional, a bit of a space case, naive, and reserved. Nubsib is pragmatic, scheming, and street smart. As Gene starts to learn his real personality and Nubsib stops pretending to be an innocent kid, Gene gives more of himself to him.

Looks aside I think a large reason that Gene loves Nubsib is because of how protected, cared for, and cherished he makes him feel, because Gene is a person who doesn’t like a lot of attention and likes to be left alone. While Gene considers everyone else, nobody considers Gene, and that’s how he likes it. But Nubsib is someone who ONLY considers Gene and doesn’t care about anyone else.

In summary, there are lots of reasons outside of looks for Gene to love Nubsib. Because lots of people are handsome. But finding someone that loves so intensely and unselfishly is hard to find.

ouhh this is a hard one!! theres quite a few I've done that I like. but these two come to mind first;

the one on the left I like because of the judge/forgive, like, touchscreen (?) option thingies LMAO as well as the overall drawing looking pretty clean I think,,? the shading on the fringe imo is a bit iffy but the rest of the drawing I'm acc really happy with! :D

the second one pls omg how did I draw that- I wanna draw in that part of my art style more often bc the results make me happy lolol. idek what to say as in what I like in particular skekdizjen,, but yea it looks soft and I like that

5. Books or authors that influenced your style the most.

Tons and tons I don’t think I can name them all idkk I love how Mary Shelley wrote Frankenstein, I still obsess over it. Edgar Allen Poe is a personal favorite, he’s a genius also kinda psychic. Kurt Vonnegut makes me feel like no one else. I love how much of a shit Kate Chopin does not give. HP Lovecraft, Ambrose Bierce, hell even Algernon Blackwood are legends. Maya Angelou is so powerful, every word is pure gold. OMG Haruki Murakami and his STORIES AAAHHH and I’m gonna stop here oof

14. What’s the most research you ever put into a book?

Obscure Twilight definitely~ I deep dived into Victorian culture and there are SO many fucking references. I reread Frankenstein because OF COURSE. It is pure 100% how life was in the Victorian era and I’m so proud of it. I even used a bit of Shakespearean era references for reasons I cannot disclose (spoilers!) A friend of mine who had a special studies course (?) in the Victorian era (she was obsessed with it) said she was going to read it and I was so happy that I would get a professional opinion on my assignment basically shkhaka but then let’s just say we’re not on talking terms anymore and I hope she can stop lying and playing the victim for pity :) sigh I still want another expert’s opinion 🤧 someone who’s honest with her friends this time hakhskahj anyWAY

46. What would your story _______ look like as a tv show or movie?

CHTMD - A season long Kdrama where the OC learns self love through each episode. The first three or four episodes of sad Kdramas are especially terrible to watch so ya’ll are gonna cry while OC mourns herself! Imagine the end of episode 1 where OC is going to deliver Jimin pizza just for her to quietly stumble on her husband and his mistress fucking and then bam it has that stupid flare effect and a melodramatic song plays🤧

Bunny Cam - A 2 hour movie that is built like the series YOU but instead of Jungkook flaking from one woman to another, he’s just lovesick over OC and everything she embodies for two hours and decides to get rid of anyone else in his way as his proposal to her. And she accepts ofc. 

Devil’s Fair Share - This really gives me Fatal Attraction vibes or basically every thriller Sharon Stone played in the 90s. A 90s thriller definitely. 

Obscure Twilight - This basically IS a movie. I have it set up like one SERIOUSLY. It’s supposed to feel long and drawn especially on paper. It’s based off of Freddie Kruger so kind of an 80′s horror. Except it has many influences from Candy Man so there’s also THAT. It’d be a huge occult hit~ 

DOAN - Something sad. I can see it being like an hour long movie. An erotic angst. While Speak Softly Love by the Godfather plays in the background the whole time.

CMLT - A hip 90′s TV show! Quirky, lovable characters, college life, too many couples AU. Everyone’s got a thing going on. OC and Namjoon being apart of the popular kids and just getting into shenanigans with their other popular friends the SeokBitches, Sana, Yoongi and a few others. Their relationship going through trials and tribulations but they always make it back together again uwu It was super popular but got cancelled after just two seasons because of network drama
