It’s so crazy to think about how many ‘what if’ scenarios there are for the rosewood chronicles and how much they would change the series like

What if Ellie had joined Leviathan?

What if Saskia had managed to kidnapped Lottie at the summer ball?

What if Claude never tried to kill Hirana? Or Hirana had survived childbirth?

What if Jamie’s parentage was never kept a secret?

What if Claude had revealed that he was Jamie’s father when they were on the roof in Tokyo?

What if Jamie had joined Leviathan when he was confronted by the Goat Man?

What if Saskia never defected from Leviathan and redeemed herself? Or what if Jamie stayed with Claude and Leviathan forever?

What if Ellie and Lottie had disregarded Sayuri’s desires and told Jamie about Haru’s identity?

tl;dr - the rosewood chronicles made me gay.

scroll for a mini rwch and love essay by jane

i found the series in 2017 and have held on tightly to it ever since. i had never related to a character more than lottie, in interests, looks, passions and cheery outlook. her mantra became my own and i use it everyday.

even tho i didn’t like this new girl in my class, i recommended the books to her and she immediately loved them. three years later that girl (who is on the right in this picture) is my girlfriend and i love her very much.

thank you connie for writing gay, princessy books that have made me, me! my girlfriend and i basically credit the rwch for getting us together and i’ve never been happier with a person more than with her.

Sometimes i feel like we’re irl lottie and ellie; we almost had our own powder room moment in a props cupboard, we have dark and light hair and we were opposites at first but now we’ve melded together.

i’ve wanted to do this photo shoot (pictures below) since february when pea came out and last night was the most perfect sunset. i wanted to do a cover recreation but i also wanted to make it a bit more us, hence the tiara on my head and liza’s glasses.

thank you to all the fan accounts that i’ve followed for years and the new friends i’ve made through this account; the rosewood chronicles really do attract the most awesome people!
