Oh, you know how it is

I have so much to say about these two i wouldnt even know where to start ajdjfjgjghjhkjk. anyone who's around me for long knows these two are my Main Blorbos:tm:

The basic rundown is Alex and Fires have a situationship of 'whatever that is'. They are primarily enemies to begin with, Fires being well, Fires, and Alex has the silverer thief who aligns with unionist, hatred was bound to be there.

Fires specifically became Alex's enemy during the Light Fingers ambition, of which his grudge became personal, and Fires became aware of existence specifically. Following that the two had many interactions, Alex being grating and trying to foil all of Fires' plans, Fires becoming more and more frustrated with this thief it once believed it could use as a pawn.

What follows varies on the timeline, but in the main one basically Alex and Fires end up in a situation where theyre forced to work together, and what is mainly antagonism and tension... perhaps has a moducule of respect and affection there.

what follows is a domino effect of spiral.

Alex hates that he has affection towards Fires, of all the eviless and vile beings, capable of so much violence towards others. it has hurt people, has hurt alex's friends, has cause undue angst towards him. yet it is somehow soft with him. it seems to care. (Alex is also very heavily on the aro/ace spectrum, and combined with a history of a very trying childhood, leaves him very confused with how to engage within a relationship. not even counting what goes on during LFs)

Fires begrudges that it cares about a human, but is swiftly more accepting of its affections for Alex. It is due set to protect every part of its hoard. It believes it can have both its city and its person, that it can plan and scheme and eventually it will solve every equation on the board. (It is arogant, and this will be it undoing)

If perchance you are interested in any fic about it, my dear friend @house-of-mirrors wrote the original fic with them first geting together, 'I Can't Stop It When There's Chemicals Keeping Us Together' which is still such a delight. The whole series theyve written is a delight [which i named after some some song lyrics: Like A Moth To Light, (Like A Beast To Bait)]

#thylacines can talk #faaf au #i love this au very yummy. a very fun twist on how Flower's dynamic with their parents would progress afterwards #the vessels live but the void exits their bodies in quite a violent manner (extreme pain and literally throwing up an entire person worth of #void). Flower was on guard duty and theyre found barely conscious in a pool of rapidly evaporating void. passes out seconds later #PK also had the displeasure of experiencing extene pain and burning as void forced its way out through his skin <3 And his moulds all melted #and evaporated. after the initial shock wears off theyre hit with “Oh No #the vessel“ and rush to find them. Well somebody else was already looking for the royal pair about this #Flower wakes up dazed and in pain in their father's workshop. their stomach hurts their throat burns and they feel lightheaded. the entire #place is considerably brighter than they remember and in they can hear two faint voices in the background but theyre too preoccupied with #examining their now pure white hand in shock to focus on anything else. until they hear their mother say “My wyrm they're awake” and #suddenly their parents are by their side. Now the two have no idea what void leaving their body might have done to them. Are they still #hollow? are they still dead? do they understand anything are they sentient? or was what was done pernament even without the void? do they #have the mind of a child if their sentience was restored? or do they remember anything? So WL stays by their side and helps them sit up #while their father goes to grab his tools. She's trying to keep them calm and comfort them but theyre still too disoriented to pay her much #attention. Until their father checks their breathing and they yelp audibly from the cool metal contacting their skin and suddenly they seem #much more alert. theyve never experienced true coldness before. PK quickly apologises and tries to be gentler with them. Theyre breathing #properly and they have a heartbeat. And he just pauses for a long while just. listening to their heart beating. Many emotions to be had #after the exam's over he asks them point blank how theyre feeling. And Flower looks up at him still seeming a little disoriented. and then #they lower their hand to their stomach and mutter 'My tummy hurts...a-and my throat burns'. It's to be expected after the way the void #left their body. so he goes to grab them some water and meds and they also ask for food and a mirror. And after he returns they just stare #at themself in the mirror and pull on their bangs for a while then blurt out 'I have your eyes' when PK asks if everything's okay. And he #and he almost chokes up as he replies 'Yeah...Yeah you do'. Flower eventually spins a lie that they remember everything but its all distant #and blurry. Like they were not aware until now. They figured it'd be better to not break their hearts #And now the three have to figure out how to be a family while PK is also scrambling to find a new solution to the infection #oops i meant to only give a brief rundown in the tags which is why it was in the tags. but i got too invested KDHDKFB

it's been over 2 weeks and this thing (unfortunately) still has a grip on me

the monkees living on the beach have lots of people always coming onto the beach during the day and even sometimws during the night, which means that theyre always having people throw their trash all over the beach and it makes them so upset. that's their beach! sometimes teenagers will run up to the beach house to see if there's anyone inside ane they'll peak into the windows, only to see peter at the dining table eating a sandwich 😭mike will have to step out and chase them away and they'll run away laughing.

some mornings they'll all go down onto the beach and pick up trash left by rude beach goers

#lots of kids will see rhe beach house and think its abandoned cuz it does look a little rundown on the outside #so i think they have kind of a problem with kids looking thru the windows or ecen in some cases trying to vandalize #but the boys have scary mr babbitt on their side when it comes to stuff like that

I did do a small update to Radiata's abilities:

Radiata also treads the line between life and death, being closer to death in a very literal manner than anyone else. She can feel, hear, and even sometimes see ghosts and other things that are left behind by the dead, sometimes allowing her to gleam information others cannot through this.

Originally I only said she could see ghosts, but I've changed it a little as you can see.

#i need to write a prequel to aa4 pls pls pls pls pls #okay get this: so phoenix isnt disbarred yet and he doesnt have trucy. hes still taking and winning cases #one day he gets a call from edgeworth and hes all like ''wright i need your assistance'' and hes like what for and edgeworth goes #''ive been given the most ridiculous case and i think youre the only man in law who can take care of it'' #so phoenix bikes his ass to the detention center and boom. child behind bars #and phoenix is like ??? hey kid what are doing here. and this kid is the most surly mfer on the planet like you couldnt get- #-a word out of him if you tried. hes kinda giving phoenix the stink eye too but hes just the littlest guy on earth #and phoenix feels bad for him so he tries to get a rundown of the case (maybe edgeworth gave him an autopsy report or smth beforehand) #but get this. the kid still wont speak. he hasnt even moved a muscle. and after some prodding you find out this little dude- #-doesnt speak english (i dont love aa6 but i think apollos tragic backstory can be interesting so we're going w that but taking it seriousl #anyways so maya is like omg this kid is speaking khurainese but hers is kinda broken bc shes not from the mainland and only knows it- #-from like prayers #so you only get bits and pieces of the kids testimony. plus he still doesnt wanna talk bc ''dhurk told me not to talk to you'' #so you start following the new lead but you ask too many questions and apollos like oh shit i said too much and wont talk to you anymore #but now you have two leads: khur'ain and a man named ''dhurk'' plus the fact that this is kid might be new to america since- #-he cant speak english but is smack dab in the middle of california. its all v curious and phoenix wants to get to the bottom of it #for the rest of the case i feel like it would go in the direction of ''we dont know exactly whats up w this dhurk guy or where this kid- #-came from but we do get him acquitted and phoenix is able to save him from the dark path he was heading towards'' thus steering apollo- #-in the direction of law and giving him a wayyyy better reason than aa6 gave him <3 #i kind of like the interlinked nature of ace attorney's storytelling. like everything leads into smth else and everyone is impacted- #-by another person before they even become properly entangled w each other's lives #like how mia faced dahlia years before she met phoenix but dahlia was the one to connect them #or how trucy gave phoenix the diary paper but she's also the one who ropes apollo into the waa. even before they know they're siblings #or how lamoire left apollo and trucy as children and when they reunite as adults they cant recognise each other but they all find each- #-other anyways #i could go on but i think this could be cool yknow esp bc i think the most interesting thing about apollo's aa6 backstory is his life- #-post dhurk. like where did he stay? was he a foster kid? was he put into the system? how did that affect him? what kind of ppl took him in #i just wanna know how that whole thing would have effected him bc like when yiu think about it how did he even get to america?? his dad's #-considered a terrorist. idk man i think its interesting and apollo and dhurks interactions are one of the only good parts of aa6
