My #1 post of 2022

this is the first time i’m seeing such an aggressive anti-leak approach in this fandom. the point that it harms the official release and - in this particular case - harry’s artistic integrity is just moot because a lot of us have been through this again and again. never has it harmed release day. quite the opposite, oftentimes it has been encouraged or joked about by harry/1d. and every release has been a huge success in its own right. it’s almost expected at this point. so i would absolutely encourage new fans to learn about fandom history (which is me putting it in the nicest way possible) instead of attacking people who have been here for 7+ years

hii, I read your post, I hope I’m not overstepping. I just wanted to say that talent is something we get from practice, nobody starts right away as the best. I know in the beginning it can be frustrating and you may not like everything you do, but if you like doing them and it makes you happy, the just do it! and you said you’ve made things for other fandoms so it’s nothing brand new?

but same, I’ve done things for other fandoms and I’ve been meaning to start doing things here too, but I keep telling myself I don’t have the time when I actually do shbsksnsm

i think the whole sticking out and practicing until i get better is really my main problem 😭 i try so many things once but never go back to them because i get really impatient when im not good at it on the first try fjdjskdkd i think you're right honestly maybe this is the year i just keep doing things until i get better at them no matter how frustrating, thank you for your kinda words :D i hope both of us can create things for these boys 💗

the fandom really is interesting, i don't know if it's mostly the people i follow or it's the same everywhere but the main content i see is gifs, and even those get as much appreciation as they should (because honestly so much work goes into making them and i have so much respect for gifts makers), and it seems like other types of content isnt really that popular? i still see some art and other graphics around sometimes but either way it's always super interesting to be in multiple fandoms at the same time and see what kind of content is more popular in which ones
