I like saving pictures of my friends. Most of my life I've been pretty isolated from others for one reason or another (extreme distances being a routine problem). There are plenty of them I haven't seen in years, or that I've met online whom I may never have the good fortune of meeting in person. Having a picture reminds me they're there and helps keep me from feeling lonely. That I know this wonderful, unique person, and that I have the privilege of having them in my life, even if its at a distance.
