I READ CHAPTER 23 OF LFLS BY @eternalglitch (again) AND MY BRAIN IS GOING A MILLION MILES AN HOUR AND I HAVE A THEORY THAT I HAVEN'T SEEN ANYONE ELSE POST ABOUT YET AND IDK WHY PEOPLE AREN'T TALKING ABOUT IT.
FIRST OF ALL, THE ANGST IS BEAUTIFUL ANOTHER PAINFULLY CRAFTED MASTERPIECE I LOVE IT SO MUCH THANK YOU FOR SHARING WITH THE CLASS WE ALL LOVE (and loathe a little, but we’re kinda also to blame for indulging in the pain lmao) YOUR WORK.
I just want you to know it’s got my brain worms tossing and turning in their little graves. I am seriously considering properly analysing your fic (threat).
Now on to the theory (below the cut to avoid spoilers) :)
WHAT THE HELL ARE THE NOTIFICATIONS THAT DONNIE KEEPS GETTING????
Well, here’s my theory: Muninn and Huginn (I refuse to believe he’s dead)….
Just think about it for a second. With the whole scuffle that was going down, Muninn had time to escape, or at least find a place to hide and carry Huginn off with him to (or drag or whatever).
There’s no way that Muninn would return to Draxum after the betrayal and the showing of Draxum’s true colours and all that juicy angsty stuff. And the pair have also canonically not had a previous master (at least none that they’ve stuck with for a substantial length of time) that they would go to in a crisis. And he wouldn’t return to the Gargoyle Sanctum thingamabob we saw them come from in the series. So that leaves only one conclusion: Muninn is somewhere out there fending for himself and a very injured Huginn.
My theory is that Donnie’s little notifications are of Muninn resurfacing for supplies - we’ve seen how often the boys have to change bandages for wounds in LFLS, so the logical implementations are that he has to buy a fair amount of bandages for his buddy. Whilst he would have to buy bandages for Huginn, there’s also the additional requirement of food - it doesn’t matter how small they are, the little guys still have to eat - and Muninn is only small and canonically not very strong, which means he can’t carry heavy loads of shopping. Also, without the income (if he even got any) from Draxum and/or the ability to rely on the yokai for a constant supply of food, much like a dog it’s owner (not derogatory, that’s just how they’re represented in the series) that means Muninn had to risk leaving Huginn often to steal food and supplies. Seventeen times in a week may seem a bit excessive, but when you’re building an infirmary from scratch and consider how tiny Muninn’s little arms are, it really isn’t that crazy.
NOW, ON TO WHY DONNIE HASNT SAID/DONE ANYTHING ABOUT THIS YET
This bit’s a little bit flimsy and I’m not too sure how to answer it, but I’m doing my best to fill the 7ft plot-holes in my theory. I believe it is due to a possible combination of three things: (1) He’s worried about how injured his family is and he doesn’t think they can handle another fight; (2) He’s not sure how Leo will react to seeing the Gargoyle pair again (this is the big one); (3) Donnie may not completely trust them yet (HEAR ME OUT!!) and he hasn’t turned off the notifications bc he feels guilty for not doing anything, but he still wants to know that they’re there and alive (also, if Draxum suddenly appears, Don will know about it).
(I also have a theory that Don is going to try and save them himself, but that's a very shaky one because of the trauma of Leo going alone and what that all entailed that glitch has been exploring throughout the fic. He probs has several trackers planted on the whole family by now. I’d honestly be more surprised if he didn’t.)
But I digress. On to theory one: The family is 100% injured and not at all ready for a fight. April is out of commission, Raph's hands are fried (but I feel that he would insist on joining a fight anyway), and we all not Leo's kinda down in the dumps. Plus, everyone is emotionally and mentally destroyed. They are not up for any kind of fight. And Donnie doesn't exactly strike me as the kind of person who intentionally puts his family in more danger than is necessary, especially in this current situation.
Number two: He's not sure how Leo will react to seeing the sidekicks present for the worst trauma he's ever (and hopefully will ever) experience in his lifetime. The pair were there during just about everything that happened to him - including the Battle Nexus, when Draxum wasn't present - and Leo would undoubtedly have made strong links in his mind between the gargoyles and the trauma he experienced. One can pretty confidently assume that having the pair around whilst he is trying to recover and whilst the fear of Draxum's return is still very heavy in the air, is going to cause problems for both Leo and the rest of the family, even if they know that the gargoyles willingly chose to help at the risk of their own lives. And if a dumdum such as myself can make those links, then there's no way that Donnie hasn't made them as well. For the sake of his family (especially Leo), Donnie is choosing to do nothing for the ex-henchgoyles. BUT, with each passing day and as more of the notifications continue, Donnie's guilt may start to eat him up inside and he's likely to just react without thinking (he's very emotionally tense and high-strung, so he's not thinking like his usual, logical self) and try to rescue them. I could go so much further into depth about the repercussions of what the gargoyles being in the lair might do to the fam, especially Leo, but I'm trying to keep this relatively short, lemme know if you wanna know more and I'll theory dump on you :)
Third and final: Donnie doesn't completely trust them. Let's be honest, Donnie's never really struck me as the overly trusting type and this whole situation would have only amplified it and made his trust issues a thousand times worse. This one is probably my flimsiest reasoning and it likely just added on to the others.
Either way, whether I'm right or not, I know glitch won't leave us hanging with that forever. They're a good writer and they don't seem to me to be the kind of author that leaves loose ends just hanging around. Cliffhangers, absolutely without a doubt they leave us hanging off of. But not loose ends (especially with how hard they were hinting at the notifications during the last chapter, it MUST be something important and I am absolutely BURSTING to find out what it is :)
(I'm looking back over and you can tell which one my favourite theory is LOL)

Rottmnt lfls theory
Fic by @eternalglitch
I've been discussing this idea with @findingnymos , and I wanted to share my theory on what I think will happen in these next few chapters.
Leo's family has been thinking this whole time, that once they got leo back everything would go back to normal. That's been highlighted multiple times thoughout the chapters, but we already know that's not gonna happen.
They don't realize exactly how much this has affected Leo yet, and they aren't ready for it. They're all gonna have the "it's my fault" mindset harder then they already have, when that happens.
And once they do, they're going to do everything they can to "make-up" for it. But, also to try and bring him back.
I think, they're gonna try to use the things he liked before as a way to show him that he's still Leo. That no matter how he's changed he's stil him. Like when April started telling him about Jupiter Jim in chapter 20, and it brought him back from his dissociation.
And with Hueso inviting them to bring leo to his restaraunt after they find him, in chapter 6. This will lead them there, since Leo liked going there.
Besides, they were invited personally. It wasn't a human pizzeria like last time. It won't be like the last time, where he was defenseless and alone. They're together now. They know this place. Nothing bad could happen right?
Kappa Kid is still famous among the yokai.
The other turtles think, the yokais last saw Leo when they tried to rescue him in the Battle Nexus.
The yokais last saw Green with Draxum, as his warrior to his cause.

Note
If you did kill off April, how long do you think it would be before you heard loud banging on your door
HM. Considering the whole Gravity Falls cipher hunt and the speed that happened, plus the inevitable clues that unintentionally happen as I go about leaving my online footsteps, I'd say someone would catch me within three days.

Lurking for love? More like lurking for LORE
Hi everyone! Just two days ago, I made some interesting discoveries about LFL by just digging around the website
I'm not sure if anyone else found this out so that's why I'm going to be sharing what I found because it's very interesting
This post is going to be pretty long lol and full of my rambling. If you're interested, please take a read! Do note that English isn't my first language so I may express myself a bit weird 😭
Also IK the screenshots are pretty shitty but I'm lazy oops
To start, I have a habit of checking the sinistershrike website along with the LFL itch.io game page. Why? Well I just like looking if there are any new updates (and its my hyperfixtation so I'm constantly looking for new content)-
And I noticed that on the sinistershrike website there was a new update which some of you may or may not saw.
Tumblr media
In summary, the game is getting custom music, prounouns are getting removed so MC is going to be gender neutral and getting called only by their name and most interesting of all: a new main character is getting added, and they're going to be dateable!
Pretty interesting, right? I immediately got curious on who that character might be since they're going to cause drama and more mysteries.
But wait! I'm still not done, hehe
Afterwards, I was just randomly looking at Jacob Alden pics thru google. Again, why? Well, I don't know either lol. It's just a habit that I do when I'm bored and sometimes when I'm lucky, I come across new things.
And this time I was lucky!
So I scrolled down to the end of the results and I saw this post which caught my eye:
Tumblr media
What's so interesting about it? Well the fact that the creators website is linked to it. Curious, I clicked on the link and was suprised at what I saw.
(Mind you I still dont know if I'm an idiot just finding this out or not...)
Tumblr media
Basically, it's a site containing all info about Jacob! I got really excited when I saw it bc I LOVE learning all the facts about my favourite characters and finding new official content!
When I finished looking through it I noticed two things:
1. The website adress (is that what it's called? Im sorry english isn't my first language)
So when you look at the website adress you can notice how it's linked (basically an extension) to the creators webiste which is: sinistershrike.neocities.org
The thing is; you can't open Jacobs page on the creators site. Like yes, there is a tab which says CHARACTERS but if you click on it you'll get nothing but a scary looking Jacob. Which means to get to this page you have to type the adress in yourself.
So I'm assuming the creator is purposefully hiding this Jacob page (maybe because he wants to finish pages for all characters and more)
And here's the link if you want to take a look for yourself:
https://sinistershrike.neocities.org/character/jacob
2. At the end of the page, you have links to other characters made by the creator.
Not just lurking for love, but other ocs made by him!
Though, if you click on them, you'll get nothing. Maybe they're still being made? I'm not sure.
Now, when you look at the characters for LFL, it's very interesting because we now have info on Sarah's last name AND... an unknown character? Noah Vega.
At first, I was stunned. Who could this character be? Then I went back to the creators website and remembered the mention of a new character, can you see where I'm going?
Tumblr media
Noah Vega must be the new character! He was never mentioned before; neither in the game nor in the creators deleted blogs.
And pretty quickly I found proof which helped my theory (I SOUND SO DUMB OMG)
Now going back to the website adress thing.
So I concluded that the Jacob website is hidden from the main website for an reason, hence you can only acess it by finding it yourself. I decided to mess around with the website adress a bit, to see if I could find any more extensions/links.
I started by putting different names in the adress. I tried out: Austin, Sarah, Cedric and Alfred but they didn't lead or anything.
BUT
The only name which lead to an extension was Noah. And holy shit-
I'm finding it hard to express how shocked I was at this discovery
Tumblr media Tumblr media
This is a pretty big lore drop imo! So his website shows a pinboard with various notes.
And with these notes we can conclude two things:
1. He has an gambling addiction
2. He is investigating Jacob
He definitely an detective trying to solve an old murder case involved with Jacob. Hence why the mention that the new character will add more drama and mystery to the game.
The three murdered highschoolers must be his old friends mentioned in the game: Steve, Monty and Kenny. Which he claims that they haven't talked since highschool. In reality, they were murdered by him for reasons that are unknown for now.
The website link:
https://sinistershrike.neocities.org/character/noah
And that's about it! I had fun digging around finding this new info and writing this post. I hope to see more of interesting secrets like this in the future because it's fun finding them!
I hope this post was of interest to you :)

Love For Love's Sake: unorganized musings on an utterly brilliant show
TW: suicide, suicide attempts and ideation among LGBTQ+ youth
I love that @lurkingshan clocked early on, before my heated two-day binge of Love For Love's Sake, that I would NOT be able to write meta on this show right after I watched it. It's been five days, and all I have are just loose mental strings. Everyone has had such amazing input and theories and thoughts into this incredible show. What I said to @bengiyo while I was watching it was: I'm not entirely sure I'm following everything, but this show is still hitting every high point of my dopamine cycle, which means it's GOOD, and maybe making sense, somehow.
In any case, I don't think I can write meta on this show, in part because I don't know if there are any concrete conclusions I can come to about this show -- which I think is an inherent part of its brilliance. I'm just in awe that we, as BL fans, got this show in the genre we love, complete with stellar acting, gorgeous cinematography, phenomenal writing, all of it. (I'm back a lot on iQIYI right now, ready for my KinnPorsche OGMMTVC rewatch, and I'm noticing that LFLS is just eating by way of numbers. Fucking WELL DESERVED.)
All I want to do is just share some instinctual feelings about where my mind was landing a couple days after I finished watching LFLS. This is the scene I've been thinking about the most right now.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
I don't have a theory as to the "reality" of the ending of the show -- if Myungha is alive in "reality," is alive in an alternate universe, is reincarnated, or if what's shown at the end of the series is a kind of heaven. I love that there's no real way we can interpret that.
What I love about this scene that I've screencapped -- and thinking about the elusive and inconclusive meanings of the ending -- is that, truly, theories about fate and destiny ARE indeed theories. Myungha's grandmother believes one thing, and Myungha believes something else. Sunbae is able to play around with.... something, with time, with fate, with our dependence on technology, something, to make something happen to Myungha that gives him a happy ending with Yeowoon somewhere, sometime, in some wrinkle of time.
Going back for a second (I told you these thoughts were unorganized), something that hit me deeply about this show were the great number of themes it touched upon. This show touched upon:
Suicide Homophobia Bullying Self-acceptance Self-love Familial abandonment Familial abuse Substance abuse Intergenerational trauma Elder hierarchy and respect (both in families and in society) Pre-destination Christianity (stay with me for a sec) Buddhism (same)
and probably many more that I'm missing.
I couldn't help but think of Lee Sun-Kyun's recent suicide in South Korea -- even though this show was likely produced well before that incident. Nonetheless, it had me thinking about what suicide means in South Korea, considering the ever-growing presence of Christianity in that country, with 23% of South Koreans identifying as some kind of Christian. The show also had me thinking in general of sins, and of fate, in Christianity.
Just thinking out loud. Korea produces fewer BLs than we'd expect from that national entertainment powerhouse. Efforts to cancel Seoul Pride last year were made in earnest by pro-Christian forces -- but Pride won out.
As same-sex orientation so often is, suicide is also discouraged in Christian circles. We can see, literally, how homosexuality is discouraged in South Korea vis à vis Pride. I'll assume the same for suicide in South Korea, despite the many celebrities in the recent past that have met that fate publicly.
What does South Korea feel about the suicides of young people who might be queer? The percentages of suicidal ideation and suicide attempts among South Korean LGBTQ+ youth are high.
We can see and feel the palpable message from LFLS that self-love, despite how oneself, and society, might feel about an individual's sexual orientation, is well worth fighting for and celebrating. But Myungha, in some reality, is still dead. And death will be his eventual fate anyway, as will be the fate for all of us.
If Myungha found self-love, AND love through Yeowoon, and found a happy ending in happiness, somewhere, somehow, then -- any Christian judgements about same-sex orientations and suicide are moot, regarding Myungha's fate.
But Myungha also reveals, vis à vis his grandmother, the Buddhist spin on fate. He mentions that she believes in reincarnation. He mentions that she believes in doing good in this life, so as to have a happy life after reincarnation.
And he refutes that. He says -- no. Predestination of any kind is not right. I believe that one can change their lives NOW, in the present, for a happier fate and future, NOW. Otherwise, why even bother trying?
And Sunbae hears that, and constructs a world in which Myungha COULD find a path to a happier ending, simply by working on finding love for himself and unto himself -- in part, though a partner that Myungha relates to deeply at the start of the series. (That Yeowoon might very well be the EMBODIMENT of self-love that Myungha discovers -- yes, that may also be "true" of the show's ending. Whew.)
You know what I love about this show? I love that this show just absolutely CHEWED UP those predestination theories that we get from our generations past, from the spiritual practices that we may have grown up with -- from the indirect, unspoken, unconscious ASSUMPTIONS we may have about life and death. This show iterated that being either in "the" or "a" now, a present, and being willing to change oneself (which I've often written about as being THE hardest thing you can you in your life) can have great, long-lasting -- even eternal benefits and consequences.
I love that this show says: you don't have to rely on all the structures and expectations that lead one to behave the way that they do. We might always expect to be a group of schoolboys who'll bully another for being gay. But -- did we expect one of those bullies to BE gay? The show said, we can also very much turn that on its head, even though it might cost someone some bruises.
Within the absolute truth that all humans will die one day -- what other absolute truths do we have? Man. I need a vacation, some..... stuff, you know what I mean, I need TIME to contemplate that.
This show said, no absolute truths today. Everything is up for grabs by way of how we'll love and accept people, and this show examined ALL THE WAYS, good AND bad, that people are loved and accepted, from total rejection by a parent, to unconditional love from a partner, with a slipper-bearing and loving grandma in-between.
It's been... what, five days since I finished this show, and I CANNOT stop thinking about it. It's just brilliant. These thoughts were messy, but it's meant to be, because I just -- this show, I just can't with how brilliant this show was about all of the inconclusiveness of it that still told such an amazing story.

The last 2 weeks have provided me with amazing experiences from the BL series fan community. Moments when several series with very active fandoms are aired at the same time are very rare, and with the end of 2 series this week, I'm already mourning this wonderful, one-of-a-kind experience.
I have been camping in the following tags for many days and each one is different and unique: Love For Love's Sake I can't put into words what this show and fandom has given me. The number of absolutely insane analyses, meta, touching declarations of love to this series from moved viewers, and beautiful gifs is staggering. The series is excellent, the audience's reaction is also wonderful, it was such a great experience. Which doesn't surprise me, because it was people's reaction to real ART, which is always something special. The series itself is 10/10 for me in every category: love story, plot, actors, emotions, my investment in the story, quality, execution, even the "heat", because even though there were no love scenes, the guys were able to convey that they are very into each other 🥰
Dead Friend Forever I also enjoy the fandom experience immensely, the tag is full of great analysis and meta. The plot is so interesting and full of surprising twists and turns that there is always something new to discuss and come up with wild theories. The series is still ongoing, but for this moment it's also perfect for me and 10/10: love story (hehe), plot, actors, emotions, my investment in the story, quality, execution, also the "heat" (hehe).
Pit Babe I rate the fandom experience as *chef's kiss*. Tag is also full of interesting analyzes and meta, amazing gifs of Way. The fandom is generally very cheerful and unhinged, which is GREAT ✨ But what's most interesting is that if someone who didn't know Pit Babe checked the tag now, they would never guess who the main character and main couple of the series are (and this doesn't only apply to tumblr!). I find this incredibly funny 🤡 I'm not that interested in the series itself, so I won't rate it. I treat it as pure fun and entertainment, so I have zero expectations for the finale, especially since, of course, I've already stumbled upon possible spoilers. Personally, what I will take away from the entire series is my deepened love for Nut and a fascination with Way, whom I want like little girls want a new Barbie doll.
Last Twilight Another wild fandom experience lol I practically didn't visit the tag of this series at all, but I spent the last two episodes there in full camping mode, in a tent and cooking coffee after coffee over the fire 😄 Fans have once again soared to the heights of perfection, writing amazing analyzes and meta responses to the crap of the last episodes. The criticism was precise, justified, systematized, methodical and accurate 👩‍🎓 As with LFLS, it was an intellectual experience. The fans provided better entertainment than the series itself lol
The Sign hmm, for several weeks the tag has been dominated by BillyBabe, which is not strange because only this couple is responsible for BL aspect in this BL series 😄 I rate my fandom experience with The Sign in two categories: "until episode 7" full of amazing meta, analysis, beautiful gifs and enrichment for me as a fan, overall 10/10 and "after episode 7" which I spent mainly on… liking BillyBabe's photos and videos . Which is ok, because, well, I do like them a lot 😉
Two of the above series have already ended, although fans are still present, two more are ending this week. That's why I would like to take this opportunity and say THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart to all the fans, those who wrote emotional entries, deep and thoughtful meta, funny posts, created beautiful gifs, analyzed endlessly the smallest details and posted photos and videos of their favorite actors. You all made these last few days so interesting and fun. I hope there will be more days like this in 2024! 🥰
And now I'll only have DFF…

literally thank you so much for all your meta and theory. i actually read the webcomic first and just finished the drama, and i'm honestly still reeling from how blunt and dark the show handled the topics (sexuality, suicide, death, etc). like you pointed out, the initial sunbae scene was very lighthearted, so the way it was handled in lfls immediately clued me in that these two were not going to have the same tone.
i don't know korean but i'm familiar with it enough to have gotten the basic sunbae vs hyung, but there was so much that i really appreciate you going over all the small details you found!
anyways i binged your whole tag so sorrry about that XD
You weren't the only one who binged my whole tag and sometimes my account – and none of you should ever apologize for that, I was so happy to see obsessed as me like-minded people!
Oh! I'm curious to know, what are the difference between webcomic and drama adaptation, in your opinion? I still want to read the original novel and try to compare the stories, but imo the drama was more powerful because you could feel the precision in the scriptwriting and filming that can only be achieved by TV series (at least, I'm not used to seeing such thoughtful method of storytelling in webtoons - I'm talking about all the details and parallels that were created for it)
I'm glad that my posts enhanced your experience with watching Love for Love's Sake!^^ Because yeah, I usually watch dramas quietly and more used to watching Thai BLs tbh where I don't really know the language or culture much, so suddenly watching such a well-crafted series, I could just feel the palpable extra layer of culture/language that added to the depth of the story, and... yeah, couldn't help but share xD
Now I need to find this team and pray for them to continue making amazing stories :') Also I hoped that more people would tune in to it but maybe because it was released in ~2 weeks only, I don't even see many BL youtubers reacting to it, which is a shame. They need to be recommended to experience this amazing show x)
Anyway, yeah, you're very welcome!:DD

You wake up to find you are now the owner of Lucasfilm. What's the first thing you would do?
Following the exact parameters laid out in the question by Darth Thunder @XDarthThunderX on Twitter if I woke up to find that I was the owner of Lucasfilm not just in-charge of it under Disney but sole owner of it.  The following plan is what I would do if I woke up tomorrow to find that I had somehow acquired Lucasfilm from Disney & become the owner of it:
- KK sacked & removed possibly even barring her from the premises
- Disney Influence Gone (CLEAN HOUSE/EVERYBODY FIRED)
- Meet with all old EU/Legends authors, settle all grievances they have with LFL, set up payment plans for the back royalties of those LFL haven't been paying, & set up methods of payment for all future royalties from there on.
- Studio would close its doors for 14 days until such time when I have a plan in place to move forward which is when I would hold a press conference to announce our new plan going forward. (COMPLETE MEDIA SILENCE)
- Use LFL database of all old EU/Legends content & all Disney-Era content to figure out where I need to start.  If no database exists outside of those fan sites such as Wookiepedia I would create a simple spreadsheet for the time being.  Later on, I would bring in a team to setup an online database containing everything Star Wars including Disney-Era content for fans of that era of Star Wars likely in conjunction with the creative team with it also serving as their resource as well. (HOLOCRON NETWORK)
- An actual creative team would be created initially to go through the Skywalker saga, all old EU/Legends content outside the 6 films by George Lucas, & all Disney-Era content outside the sequel trilogy to find what works & what doesn't work in order to craft a cohesive narrative to create a new continuity that is a fusion of both.  Old EU/Legends are brought in & made officially canon regardless of what it was under GL while Disney-Era content will be meticulously combed through to figure out what elements work & what elements from the Disney EU wouldn't work with Legends so elements such as episodes 7-9 will need to be retconned along with anything else that doesn't work which would be done in the first movie we would make that would use the WBW (World Between Worlds) to destroy the Disney EU to create this new thing going forward.  After they finish this the creative team would work from then on to oversee the continuity of the EU moving forward so everything from there would remain canon to this new EU so strict oversight would be necessary to ensure that issues of the old EU such as plot holes & retcons won't occur in the new EU.
- Iron out a proper plan going forward from the initial movie where we do a soft franchise reboot to setup this new canon & everything from there on with a few movies being released over the span of years to keep them special while making a lot of TV shows, games, books, comics, & other stuff which is used to grow our new canon.
- Once my initial 14 days are up I would hold a press conference where I announce our new plan for Star Wars.
- Initially I would be very hands-on with LFL until I get it on the right track & while I do this I will bring on a second-in-command who will deal with the business side of things for me so I can focus on creative.
- Star Wars is for everyone. The Force is not female or male. It's for everyone. (An idea I agree with from Star Wars Theory's plan)
- There will be no more attacks on fans who criticize/dislike anything we do & if an employee is found going after fans for any reason, they will immediately be fired from Lucasfilm. (OUR SUCCESS DEPENDS UPON THE FANS)
- Relaunch fan film festivals/contests to encourage creativity in the fan community & possibly find talented filmmakers out of the fan community that can be given a chance to create for Lucasfilm.
- ALL old content from movies to video games get redone/remastered.
- An anthology series either on film or TV about the Jedi called Tales of the Jedi & while the title was previously used by Filon this won't just be about Ahsoka & Dooku but instead it will span across thousands of years of their entire history with it covering the origins of the Order all the way into the far future into the Legacy Era & beyond through the PoV of various Jedi. (IF ON TV MAY GO MULTIPLE SEASONS)
- An anthology series either on film or TV about the Sith called Tales of the Sith (UNORIGINAL TITLE) which spans across their entire history with it following the PoVs of both the well-known Sith & the obscure Sith that have interesting stories. (IF ON TV MAY GO MULTIPLE SEASONS)
- Since most of the old EU/Legends would be officially canon Mara Jade is too so if everything is canon she's dead while I can find a way to do it I would retcon her death so she's still alive which may change events later on down the road.
- We'd do a Sword of the Jedi trilogy as our sequel where Jaina Solo-Fel & Ben Skywalker would be the main figures with Leia who is either recast if need be or deep faked if I have to, Han, & Luke serving in the mentor role while Jaina & Ben would take over the protagonist roles with their own team including Jagged Fel & possibly a redeemed Vestara Khai.
- Besides that we'd explore the entirety of the Star War galaxy across time even exploring the periods that have yet to be explored & the characters that lived during those time periods.
- Eventually my long-range goal if this is successful would be to branch out with subdivisions in book/comic publishing & game development being setup so we can do everything in house instead of contracting out to comic book publishers & such which could be done but I'd need to be smart about how I will go about this so that it doesn't bankrupt the company.

Also, for Ewan touching his wedding ring during other solo interviews, I wonder if he's not doing it with Hayden in mind.
I may be crazy, but I also wonder if Ewan's marriage to Mary Elizabeth winstead isn't a PR stunt to hide Ewan and Hayden's marriage ?
I know it's a bit crazy, but I can't help wondering, especially since, when the Obi-Wan Kenobi series was released, Lucas Film offered a product: two alliances, one being that of Obiwan and the other that of Darth Vader. Yes, it's probably to promote the series, but I wonder if it wasn't a way for the team behind Lucas Film to show that they support them?
I'm probably going to far away but well, I can't help it 😅
Tumblr media
Well hello there! Thank you for your kind words, I very much appreciate it☺️
Here are my thoughts:
The touchy-touchy
I’m 99.99% sure that’s a bracelet Briar made for him, it’s colourful, vibrant, childish, with beads and stuff, very handmade look. I’m not an expert in body language, so I tend to not read too much into it and I don’t think most of the movements have any specific intentional meaning. I’m sure everyone does this from time to time, like I’ve been wearing a Marvel-related necklace for years, sometimes I touch it and think: “Wow, I really love this necklace”, but other times I touch just to adjust it or make sure it’s in the right place. Still, I could be wrong. Maybe it’s not my area of expertise, I’m just a simple gal trying to make my way in the fandom. Don’t rule out any possibility tho, however small it might be.
The PR stunt
I don’t know a lot about how Hollywood PR works exactly, but this one doesn’t look like one to me. From the “reality point of view”, it started long before he and Hayden reconnected, then got really ugly really quick, it was an utter disaster. But again, if it really were a stunt, wouldn’t it be a bit too much to add a shared child into an already complicated chaos? I mean with all the property and custody issues, that’s too high of a cost and stake so it wouldn’t make much sense. One thing I find really interesting tho is Hayden was in LA on April 21, just before the wedding(April 23), I wonder if he got invited👀
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Also, the Kenobi press tour basically started right after the wedding and the first two stops were Germany and UK, which made it look like a European honeymoon for these two. Now that I think about it, this theory actually makes an awesome fanfic idea, I’ve never thought this way but it could totally work!🤯
The rings
I would very much like to meet the genius designer who thought “Obi-Wan and Darth Vader themed wedding bands, what a great idea!” Unfortunately, this is just another co-branding strategy to promote the show and sell more merchandises. If anything, Lucasfim was merely showing support for Obikin/Vaderwan, not the actors, otherwise both their agencies would have to pay Disney and Lucasfilm huge money to do so. Sorry if I come off as negative and disappointing, but the corporation is all business, like the Kenobi-inspired vehicles collaborated by LFL and Volkswagen(VW sponsored the show), they even got Doug Chiang to spend six weeks designing it and had Ewan over to visit their factory in Wolfsburg.
The Vanity Fair interview
Here you go, you must’ve read it before. It’s one of, if not my most favourite interview ever. It uses their real-life relationship as the entry point, weaving together the developing process of the show and the character dissections, bit by bit, tells the story of how they reunited and returned to the characters, so beautifully written and full of small details, it’s like the wildest dream come true.

This is a though I had about @eternalglitch like father like son, rottmnt fanfic.
People have been drawing their versions of leo with a scarf, when he'd have recovered more from the everything that happened in this arc of the fic. And that made me thing what WOULD he actually wear in his neck?
He woundn't like to see the results of the collar on his neck so he's definitely gonna have some type of scarf there. It couldn't be anything red, because he's already freaked out from seeing his own markings before, thinking it was blood. And it can't be the same color as his mask was either. Since, from chapter 15, leo hated the idea of having the only remnant of blue in him being his collar, so I believe he'd be a bit on edge having the same tone of blue around his neck again.
But I think he would want to be "Blue" again, after being stuck as Green before. So, my take on the scarf's color would be...
Turquoise or cyan
Tumblr media Tumblr media
This would work as a great symbolism. These colors are tones of blue that are often confused with a light green. It'd work as a way to demonstrate how he was more then just physically scared as Green and how it stuck with him. But also how he's his own person besides that. After all, they may look like green but they are still shades of blue.

Have you ever felt pressured to change small parts of the plot so it matches what people think will happen? I'm not sure if you ever said that Leo would use a scarf to hide his scars, but people kind of just assumed that would happen (i did too jsjs). I'm not asking for spoilers but, for example, have you felt the need to add a scarf so you won't "disappoint" your readers? (Also you won't disappoint no one! Your writing is amazing and disappointment is basically impossible with your work).
Haha! A very valid question.
Fanfiction is often written in live time, unless you are one of those writers that prewrites the whole thing before posting (my major respect but I could NEVER.) And often it is still just you and your work and a few nice comments and that is it. I would say that smaller fic will still inevitably be influenced by the fandom and what the author consumes in that fandom, but it's usually not very direct.
And then once in a while you have a fic such as Like Father Like Son, which is an entirely different monster. I have people writing theories and essays about it. (One I saw recently where ohhhh they are on to me. I won't tip my hand at all as to who or what it was, but I sent it very excited to a few beta readers like look!! My foreshadowing is working! Not even anyone in my server guessed this one yet!)
The short answer is yes. It has changed thanks to the readers. Some of the more major changes came to be because one of my friends (all met through writing this fic) hopped into my dms with art, or a thought, or a theory. And I liked it so much I asked to use it. April alone in Draxum's lab was thanks to @aoshimaonwards and a future Mikey line of dialogue is thanks to @jinbugs. I slipped in the phrase "all eyes on him" as a nod towards @soldrawss and her animatic in another chapter, and yeah, the scarves didn't even occur to me until all the fanart suddenly had it and I went "wait, yeah, that IS a great idea. How can I expand on that in a way that works?" If I don't like it, I just ignore it. Simple as that.
Having readers influence you is not something to be afraid of in your own work, so long as you don't steal ideas and ensure everyone participating is having fun (including yourself!). My friends tend to be the most influential, of course, but sometimes a comment or something will lead my brain down a rabbit hole and allows me to improve lfls in a way I wouldn't have spotted on my own.
It's not sad that this fic would be different if I had written it in isolation or before anyone knew about it and had a chance to influence me. It just has the fingerprints of people that also love this fic just as much as I do added next to mine.
THAT BEING SAID. The worst thing an author can do is 100% listen to their audience when they know it doesn't make sense for their own thing. I know and trust my calls on how things should go, and I stick with them, because that is what drew so many people to my work in the first place. I very clearly remember after the Battle Nexus arc a few people wrote me essays about how I was wrong, Leo should have been saved there, I was dragging the story out and ruining everything. Considering the arcs I had for Raph and Donnie that required the Weapon arc, plus all of the other aspects of it I had planned, I could clearly see how it was an important part of Like Father Like Son and just kept on going.
As the author, I already have hindsight of how the arcs and character development will go; the readers do not. That's where you do need the strength to trust yourself, and your writing, because if people are reading it and talking about it you are doing something right already.
You won't ever be able to please everyone. Some people might be disappointed with what I do down the line in Like Father Like Son. At this point, it's almost inevitable because I have so many of you reading it that there are a hundred different opinions on how it should go and only a single route I can choose. But I showed the people whose opinions I trust as highly as my own my plans and they were all so excited so if I'm wrong, and they're wrong, then I guess I'll just be wrong on my story's ending. This was a fanfic started for just me, and at the end of the day that's who I want to reread it and love every second of it (plus now all of my friends that helped support my silly little endeavors).
