literally a die-hard fan of your group! the loudest and most dedicated fanboy to ever exist???? watches on the big screen to observe every cute and pretty expression you make. jaehyun can't stay in one place, he's practically jumping in his seat, mouthing lyrics while doing small movements of your choreography (cutie). smiles too wide his cheeks start to hurt :(( gives up halfway and stands up from his seat to dance with you, knowing your part by heart but does end up doing the adlibs ( other groups around him find him so cute ).

the camera has caught him so many times he doesn't even care at this point, looking at the camera while pointing to the stage where your group is and giving it a double thumbs up ( don't be surprised when he's going viral again for his obvious adoration for you ). so many videos of him eyes tearing up with a loverboy grin on his face when your singing on stage goes viral cause the boy is just so clearly whipped

sungho

you cannot tear sungho's attention away from the stage. eyes always following you, whoever you may be, with a proud smile on his face. he's just so amazed! i mean imagine not having a super-talented idol s/o!?!? the camera literally catches him at the worst moments bc tell me why he's on-screen with his jaw agaped, hand over mouth, laughing, giggling kicking his feet. always staring at you with a stunned expression, hand over mouth, slapping jaehyun's arm ⸜(｡˃ ᵕ ˂ )⸝

whenever you do something cute, his ears turn red. whenever you do something even remotely amazing he'd just gasp! ( celebration afterward ) notes to buy you a gift after the performance and treat you to an amazing dinner because you deserve it.

riwoo

tries not to make it too obvious or draw attention from your performance, but you can tell how happy he is. riwoo is literally losing his composure almost immediately after youre on the stage. his facial expressions range from 'damn that's good' to eyes widening to a very warm grin when you appear on the big screen. would subtly sing along, some parts (yours specifically) of the song he'll mouth. every once in a while you'd see him clapping along to the beat -- from the instruments to the stage, the dance break, and you-- all so captivating. smile would grow twice in size once it's your part. stares are you with an 'o' shaped mouth and eyes filled with admiration. already knows your choreo by heart, would find himself on the big screen dancing along to the song then gets a bit shy and sits down. loverboy fr

will try to keep his reactions to a minimum but can't. I mean how could he? when someone as beautiful as you are belting their heart out onstage, who looks fabulous I might add, who wouldn't want to dance along with you? dongmin's eyes would follow your movements in complete awe, eyes never tearing away from the stage. <(■-■)>

trying to maintain his composure pt2 but FAILS MISERABLY AND is caught on camera literally melting to your stunning smile, finds himself smiling back. dancing to your parts and mirroring your moves in like tiny (?). he is completely whipped, having been told by woonhak that the camera is on him. hiding behind his hands while the others laugh at the way the blush creeps up. leehan

always staring at you with so much adoration and love. donghyun loves hearing your voice and at times he'd just close his eyes and sway from side to side and give you such a love-sick smile it's insane. his dimples are so visible from a mile away. eyes glowing at you, when you hit that high note he's so mesmerized, like damn my baby can do that?? you’re the most gorgeous, breathtakingly beautiful idol to him. you have the looks matched with the voice gifted by angels. and he tells you this every day but it's so evident with the way he looks at you. ~(^ ▫ ^)~

you have him wrapped around your finger whether you like it or not. when the camera focuses on you after the end for the performance for the ending fairy, he's on his feet clapping for you. you can hear him cheering so loud from the crowd, so blow a kiss to the camera, and watch him giggle like a school girl. (he'll blow a kiss back and the audience goes wild )

woonhak

is smiling dancing singing -- just everything! woonhak is so excited to see you perform. thinks you look absolutely gorgeous. can't stay in his seat pt2. fighting the urge to dance along and of course, he loses when he finds himself dancing with jaehyun during the chorus. staff members from the side are telling him to calm down, which he does, but not really. has way too much energy (^⸝⸝> ·̫ <⸝⸝ ^)

does your fanchant and fans are literally recording him doing it, calling him ( your group ) best boy, best fanboy. jaw drops to the floor when you wink at the camera and the boy freezes in place. it's like he's falling in love all over again. turns to his hyungs to show them that he knows your choreography, he's adorable. gosh he loves you so much.

FISH ≠ HUMAN

genre. fluff. sickfic. warnings. reader is sick (only headache/nausea is mentioned). donghyun is trying his best </3 pairing. leehan x fem!reader. wc. 423. request. no. a/n. written just quickly for @blue-jisungs bcuz whenever my friends are sick i feel compelled to write them sickfics bcuz like well... they deserve it :( so i hope this makes you feel a bit better and get well soon my baby <33

“You don’t think that… fish antibiotics would work, would they?” You heard your boyfriend call out from the bathroom, shuffling through the cabinets for the medication that he swore he had. You wanted to laugh, but that would lead to another coughing fit and you really couldn’t handle that right now.

“I’m not a fish, Donghyun.” You mumbled quietly, closing your eyes again.

“What was it that you said you needed? Ibuprofen? I only have fish ciprofloxacin, though…” He muttered the last part quietly, taking one last onceover of the shelf before giving up. “I think I’ll have to go pick something up at the store. Do you need anything else? Anything I can do before I go?” He asked a little awkwardly, scratching the back of his neck.

It was clear that your boyfriend had no idea how to treat human sickness once it proved to be different than treating his fishes. He knew what to do if one of his corydoras had fallen ill— isolate the fish, clean the water regularly with antibiotics and methylene blue when needed, even apply some topical disinfectants when needed. But when it came to his girlfriend, he was almost clueless.

He knew the basics; making sure you got lots of sleep and drank water or tea. But he didn’t have any medication to give you or any other expertise in the area. You were lucky that Donghyun didn’t have a busy schedule for the next couple of days.

“Just get the ibuprofen… my head is killing me. Maybe some ginger tea? My nausea still hasn’t gone away.” You asked softly, and Donghyun nodded.

He crouched down, feeling your forehead again. He placed his other hand on his own forehead, trying to differentiate the two, but from his furrowed confused eyebrows, you were guessing he couldn’t tell. You pushed his hand away, urging him silently to go out to the store.

“Right, sorry.” He frowned. He kissed your forehead quickly before leaving, promising to be back with medication, tea, and anything else he could find at the store.

You sighed once you heard the front door close, your eyes drifting over to the fish tank in the room, watching the little creatures swim around in their seaweedy home. You smiled. You knew your boyfriend was trying his best, and you appreciated his willingness to get you what you needed. He cared about you just as much as he cared about his fish— but he still had a lot to learn about taking care of another human.

“Even full grown, the green pufferfish will only be around six inches long so we’ll need a thirty gallon tank at least.”

“Thirty?” you laugh incredulously, your fingers halting where they had been carding through Leehan’s soft locks, “I feel like you’re undermining just how big this tank will be, you don’t exactly have much dorm space to begin with Hani.”

He looks up from his phone screen, transfixing you with a petulant look, “if the guys just shifted some stuff around a little it would easily fit on the upper floor. Aren’t you supposed to be on my side anyways,” Leehan huffs. You smile at the slight pout that decorates his lips, and he shifts slightly from where his head lays in your lap, leaning insistently into your hand for you to resume the ministrations against his scalp.

You oblige, sweeping his bangs away from his forehead, watching as he melts happily into your touch. “You’re so spoiled, you know that?” you muse gently tugging at his strands. Leehan’s eyes flutter open and you’re trapped in pools of warm chocolate, unable to look away from his half lidded gaze.

A crooked smirk tugs at his lips at the sight of the warm flush that crawls up your neck, he reaches up to grasp your wrist, gently bringing it down until it’s level with his face. You watch silently, your breath catching in your throat as his lips brush against the curve of your palm, trailing feathery kisses down the expanse of your fingers.

By now you know him well enough to understand it’s a wordless assent, that he knows for him you’d do anything. His reply comes in the form of kisses, the traces leaving an unspoken promise that the feeling was very much appreciated and reciprocated.

Leehan enjoys this, seeing you at his mercy, knowing that no matter how many days go by, your heart still stutters at even the simplest of actions. Even when you try your best to act unaffected, a stray compliment or touch will have your eyes widening, a pretty red blooming across your cheeks.

It takes you a second to regain your bearings, to hide your fluster with a gentle push to his head. “You’re such a flirt,” you scoff, sighing in relief when your eye contact is finally broken.

His eyes crinkle at that, dimple winking at you impishly, “Only for you baby.”

That draws a snort from you, and you flick his forehead lightly, “I’ve seen enough fansign clips to know that’s not true. Who do you think you’re fooling?” You break into an exaggerated rendition of Leehan’s aegyo and buttery lines you had seen plastered all over your twitter feed.

Leehan gets up with an affronted gasp, you mock him louder, drowning out his playful warnings to stop. “My eyes are red because I cried alllll of last night because you didn’t say you loved me,” you whimper dramatically, splaying your hand across your forehead.

“Alright, I think that's enough out of you,” Leehan grumbles half heartedly, his fingers finding the sides of your torso to tickle you, cutting off your performance. A squeal escapes you, and you jolt away from him but he’s much too quick, using the momentum to pull you firmly into his lap. Your back is pressed flush against his torso, arms wrapping around you and his chin finding purchase on your shoulder.

“You know I really only mean it when it comes to you,” Leehan mumbles quietly into the nape of your neck and you hum amusedly in assent. Regardless of the honey that seems to drip so indiscriminately from his words and eyes, you know moments like these are reserved just for you.

Leehan speaks in a love language that only you are fluent in. Flattery pales in comparison to the sentiments communicated by the way his eyes search for you in every room, the three rhythmic squeezes of his hand around yours, and the warmth of his embrace.

Bnd reaction when you can’t sleep!

Sungho:

From what i’ve seen sungho loves to sing so this is based from that.

As the oldest of the group he seems pretty responsible so I see him handling this maturely.

Also a huge sweetheart :(

“Hey y/n, you’re not coming to bed?!” You hear your boyfriend shouting from the bedroom. It was currently one in the morning and every ounce of sleepiness has left your body, making you sit in the living room and stare at the ceiling.

With no response you hear sungho make his way out of the bedroom until he’s standing arms crossed in front of you. “babe?” He questions before you turn your head to face him.

He leans down slightly to get closer to your level before moving a strand of hair out of your eyes and smiling softly. “Cant sleep hm?”

“I’m not really tired, you can go to sleep though I know you’ve had a long day!” You try to say cheerily before he shakes his head.

“At least come lay with me, you know I cant sleep without you” He says, now grabbing your hands and leading you to your comfortable bed. You throw yourself down with a sigh and attempt to close your eyes.

Within seconds you start to hear soft humming while sungho lightly hugs you. You smile softly with the peaceful sound starting to lull you to sleep with a successful and happy sungho following behind.

Riwoo:

This boy… I don’t see him as a cuddler AT ALL like the other members. No matter how much he likes you.

Also mature but realistic, if you cant sleep he wont try to force it but will definitely try to help.

We know he likes sweets so—

“y/n ah-“ Riwoo says while looking at you from the kitchen table. You had just finished taking a shower as the long day you’ve had, drained you completely. “Come” he finishes with a slight smile.

You pad over to where he’s sitting, seeing a few of your favorite treats and cravings laid out.

You let out a wide smile and hurriedly make your way to sit down next to him.

“I am pretty sleepy babe, i’ll stay with you for a bit and watch some videos with you, when you get sleepy i’ll be in bed waiting for you.” He says sweetly. He leaves after around 20 minutes, the silence around you and fullness from the snacks getting to you.

You make your way to the bedroom, seeing your boyfriend sleeping soundly. Lighting lifting up the covers and slipping in next to him, you let the warmth consume you.

You dont know how much times passes before you start to feel sleepy and let your eyes close, finally letting yourself sleep.

Jaehyun:

I love him. BIGGEST cuddler and sweetheart ever.

Sorry but if you can’t sleep, he says you can, and will not sleep until you are.

“Did you change yet” You hear a shout, followed by a sleepy jaehyun exiting out of your shared bathroom. “you’re not changed? It’s late babe..” He says disappointedly.

“Sorry i’m not really sleepy love” You reply with a frown to your face, watching as your boyfriend moves to the dresser to pull out some of his clothes for you.

“No. You need sleep and you know it.” He responds unfolding the clothes in hand and coming up to you. “up” He says and motions his head for you to lift up your arms.

With a sigh you let him have his way knowing his stubborn self wont change his mind. You lift your arms up allowing him to take off the hoodie you were wearing, now covered in one of his own baggy shirts. He does the same for your pants and puts you in one of his soft pajama pants.

“cute” he whispers and places a kiss to your lips before hugging your waist tightly. He quickly maneuvers you two into the bed, and covers you both underneath the comforter.

He wraps his arms around you once more while placing your head into his chest, tangling your legs together so you cant leave.

“Match your breathing to mine baby, slow breaths okay?” He says sweetly while rubbing your waist soothingly. You follow his words and within minutes you start to feel your eyes get heavy.

“Love you..” You mumble out before you let yourself drift off, causing jaehyun to smile widely. “Love you too y/n, sleep tight” He replys, now allowing himself to follow behind you.

Taesan:

Mr introverted vinyl bf. He’s so adorable and so shy. (lowkey got carried away)

I can literally only see him playing his soft music for you guys to fall asleep too :( so cute

After trying for what felt like hours to get yourself to fall asleep, you start to think about giving up. Maybe you should get up and walk around? No, Taesans feels so warm next to you, and he never cuddles you when he’s awake so maybe you should take advantage of this moment?

You’re cut off from your thoughts from a movement behind you. You hold your breath as you hear you boyfriend take a deep breath, who’s somewhat awake now.

“Baby?” He says groggily, removing the arm that was holding your stomach and untangling your guy’s legs from each other, lifting himself up to see your face. “You’re still awake?? Did you not sleep at all?” He proceeds, now fully awake and aware of your situation.

“mm” you mumble back with a frown on your face, upset that he’s unattached from you.

“Talk to me y/n… what’s going on?” Taesan says, slowly rubbing up and down your arm.

“Nothing really, i’ve just been having troubles sleeping i guess” you reply. Hoping he’d drop it and go back to sleep to leave you with your own thoughts.

He gives you a small pout in return and gets out of bed, walking up to his stack of vinyls and picking an album that he knew could lull you to sleep. He puts the vinyl into the player and lets it run, returning himself back to bed and placing himself behind you again.

“ I know I don’t show it too much but you mean a lot to me y/n, try to sleep well okay?” He says before wrapping himself around you which he’s never done while awake.

You let a tear fall, feeling how much he truly cares before feeling the stressed feeling leave your body, now at ease from the confession. Within minutes you’re sleeping soundly with your lover.

Leehan:

Hehehehe fish boy, i love this oddball

He is so interesting…Saw how caring he was in some videos and my heart- Definitely the comforting type.

“come here love” You hear your boyfriend call sweetly from the living room. It was late and you knew he must be tired, but knowing him, he was going to be there with you throughout your struggles, even if that includes his precious sleep.

“Yes ‘han” You say giving him a smile. Seeing him sitting in front of his fish tank like always.

“I got a few new friends I need help naming. Look how cute they are!!” He says excitedly as you go to stand behind him. He grabs your arms from the chair he’s sitting on and wraps your arms around his shoulder. “What should we name this little guy here?” he asks while looking up at you.

You lightly brush some hair out of his face before replying with a name. “ I love it!!” He gasps in delight causing you to giggle at his demeanor change.

“You think this fishie here looks sleepy? He probably thinks you deserve some rest too you know, he’s looking straight at you.”

“That you’re right about leehan, I just feel a bit hyper still… how about you go before me?” you start before you’re cut off by your boyfriend standing and grabbing your hand, bringing you to bed.

“Howww about I tell you some stories about my fish from back home while we lay down hm? Maybe then it’ll help you calm down” He finishes, before beginning his tangent until he hears your slow breaths, smiling to himself that he was able to help.

Woonhak:

This lil cutey omg. I saw this one video where he was cooking at night for jae, this is inspired by that.

Such a sweetheart that will do literally anything for you.

“You hungry?” Woonhak asks from the door frame, watching as you finish your skincare routine.

“mmm not really, I think im good” you reply giving him a slight smile. He crosses his arms at that.

“Well im cooking for us so. You can never sleep properly if you dont have a full tummy babe. Some warm soup sound good?” Woonhak says as he makes his way into the kitchen, not allowing you to answer.

By the time you get into the kitchen, he’s already started boiling the water. You go up behind him to wrap your arms around his waist, your forehead pressed against his back.

“Just a little while longer” He says, turning around in your grip to smile down at you.

Within due time he finishes the soup for the two of you, leading you to the living room so that you guys can watch a movie and eat. He knew that movies tend to get you sleepy as well.

Halfway through the movie, soup long gone he felt your head drop onto his shoulder, smiling to himself he turns off the tv and puts the dishes away before going back to your sleeping form on the couch.

He picks you up and lays you carefully on the bed, placing himself next to you and allowing your face to rest in the crook of his neck. “goodnight pretty” he whispers as you both sleep in each others arms.

JAEHYUN

as soon as he spots someone else getting too close to you, he turns into a clingy and whiny puppy

he’s not one to control who you interact with, but this particular person has been talking to you for the past hour, and he just wants your attention

he’s immediately going to your side and getting all up in your space, backhugging you and kissing your temple to show the person in front of you that you’re taken

acts dumb once the person takes the hint and leaves the two of you alone

holds your hand and never lets go for the remainder of the night (needs cuddles when you get home too)

“Well, yeah, I find it quite fun— oh!” your conversation with the random guy (Jongseong was his name, but you couldn’t be bothered to remember) in front of you at the party is interrupted when you feel a pair of familiar arms snake around your waist, Jaehyun’s chin coming to rest on your shoulder so naturally.

Jongseong looks a little taken aback, eyes flitting between Jaehyun’s arms around your waist and you. “Your boyfriend?”

You nod, pursing your lips together, and Jongseong makes up some flimsy excuse and leaves, unable to handle Jaehyun’s wary eyes on him. Jaehyun remains in his position long after Jongseong leaves.

“Who was that?” he whines, snuggling into your neck.

You smile, reaching up to ruffle his hair. “I don’t know, baby. I suppose he was just being friendly. Were you jealous?”

“What? No! Why would I be?” Jaehyun scoffs unconvincingly, refusing to meet your eyes.

“Sure, baby. Let’s go home, hm?”

SUNGHO

so sulky!!

he’s immediately whining and pouting and sulking in the corner the moment he spots you talking to some other guy

is honestly shocked at how this guy doesn’t know you’re taken with the way sungho literally wouldn’t leave your side the moment the two of you stepped into the party (that is, until he left to go to the bathroom)

saunters up to you and stares the guy down until he leaves, and then he’s immediately turning to you and whining about what just happened

needs reassurance from you that it was nothing, or he’ll be overthinking this interaction for a while

he just loves you too much and is so scared of losing you :(

“Quit staring, man. If looks could kill, that guy would have died ten times over with how you’re looking at him like that,” Jaehyun laughs, patting Sungho’s back.

Sungho had been glaring at this one guy who had struck up a conversation with you while he left for the bathroom. That sneaky little shit, Sungho thought, his gaze hardening by the second.

As if on cue, you look around and meet his gaze from across the room before he can spiral into an overthinking session, and you beam brightly at him.

The next thing he knew, you were standing right in front of him, seemingly having said something he was too lost in thought to pay attention to.

“Sorry, could you repeat that, sweetheart? I zoned out,” Sungho snakes an arm around your waist, squeezing the clothed skin with his hand.

You giggle, booping his nose, unaware of just how much he loved it whenever you did that. “I said, do you want to get out of here?”

“With you? Always.”

RIWOO

“Hyeok, baby? Are you okay?” you nudge Riwoo from where the both of you are resting on the couch after coming home from a high school reunion dinner.

Riwoo doesn’t respond, seemingly lost in thought, and jolts when you snap your fingers in front of him. “Y-yeah? Did you say something?”

“What’s going on in that pretty head of yours, hm? You know you can tell me anything, that’s what we promised each other,” you rub his arm affectionately, reaching out your free hand to cup his cheek.

Riwoo sighs. “It’s stupid… but Sunoo was so obviously flirting with you the entire time we were there, and I couldn’t help but recall how he had such a big crush on you in high school, and-”

You cut him off with a chaste kiss on his lips, smiling softly at him when you pull away.

“Hyeok-ie, it’s you I want to be with. Not him, okay? And your feelings are never stupid, baby. Never.”

The huge smile Riwoo beams at you in response is one that you keep in your memories for a long, long time.

TAESAN

good luck to whoever was trying to pick you up at the party you both were at, because taesan is pissed

at this point the whole world knows the two of you are dating with how he practically makes you wear his jacket all the time

he’s dumbfounded at how the guy who’s blatantly flirting with you couldn’t tell

i mean, his hand is literally on your waist. that’s evidence enough

stares him down and smirks as the guy squirms under taesan’s gaze before taking the hint and scurrying off

he’s not letting his hand on your waist go for the rest of the night

“Woah, did you see the look on his face? He was genuinely scared,” you turn to your boyfriend as the guy who was talking to you left somewhere hurriedly.

Taesan was very obviously stifling a laugh, before pursing his lips together and turning serious. “Yeah, it’s not like we were scaring him or anything.”

Your eyes narrow at his blatant attempt at acting. “Dongmin… did you do something to scare him?”

Taesan squirms under your gaze, before sighing and leaning his cheek on the top of your head in embarrassment. “Come on, baby! He was so obviously flirting with you! In front of me! How could I not do anything?”

You let out a laugh, reaching up to pat his head. “Okay, you big baby.”

LEEHAN

is in disbelief at the whole situation

“Wow, look at him, Hyunnie, it’s like he’s scared of us,” you giggle, wrapping your arms around Leehan’s left arm.

Leehan chuckles, looking down at you with the fondest look in his eyes, “Or, maybe he just realised how in love you are with me and how much he doesn’t stand a chance against me.”

“You keep telling yourself that, Hyun. Whatever helps you sleep at night,” you tease, jokingly removing your arms around his.

“Woonhak? They told me I’d find you here,” you open the bedroom door, peering in only to find Woonhak sitting on the bed, eyes on his feet. “What’s wrong?”

Woonhak purses his lips together as you sit down beside him, saying nothing. You sigh, looking at him worriedly as you reach out to take his hand in yours, rubbing small circles on the back of his palm to give him silent reassurance.

After a while, he speaks up, so softly you almost don’t catch it. “Why do you love me?”

You’re stunned. Woonhak must’ve noticed your reaction, because he goes on to elaborate, “I saw Heeseung talking to you earlier, downstairs. And, I don’t know, Heeseung is just, so much cooler than me and I couldn’t help but think of-”

You rest your index finger against his lips, effectively shushing him. You feel your heart shatter into a million pieces.

“Oh, baby,” you frown, cupping his face in your hands, “I love you because you’re you, Woonhak. Nothing and no one can change that.”

Woonhak looks like he’s about to burst into tears, and he reaches forward to wrap his arms around you, head resting on your shoulder. “I love you.”

You sigh contentedly, stroking his hair. “I love you, too.”

bf!leehan, who is so observant when it comes to you and your emotional needs. he’s always there for you when you need him, and can always tell when something isn’t right. it can sometimes catch you off guard with the way he’s learned to read you, but it’s become one of the many ways he makes you feel loved. he can see through even the thickest of your masks, and it makes you treasure him even more because he can see you in a way that most people can’t.

bf!leehan, who loves doing skin care with you. by the time you’re well into your relationship, you’re practically a beauty guru with the way he’s taught you everything. he makes sure you do it every night, even when you’re tired. you always opt to do with him so it’s not as tedious or boring. you two share products and he loves doing masks with you. you get into the routine of doing a face mask at least once a week as a way to bond, while also taking care of your skin! he’s so cute in the way he’ll look out for new products and share new tips he learns. overall, the cutest self care bf ever!

bf!leehan, who turns into a completely different person when you agree to go look at fish with him. if you initiate an aquarium date, he’ll literally look at you with the biggest heart eyes ever. you go to the aquarium at least once a month (sometimes different ones too to explore and see more fishies) and it almost becomes like a regular date you two have. you love going with him, even if you’re not the biggest fish enthusiast like your boyfriend. you love it because he gets so excited, it’s such a simple thing that makes him light up, which makes your heart happy just like his in those moments. you two really thrive off making the other feel happy, comfortable, and cared for in your relationship.

this time you had made up your mind you were going to bake cupcakes, you wanted to challenge yourself knowing how bad you were at baking but just standing there in the kitchen with all the ingredients set on the counter made you start regretting you decision,

“ y/n” you look up to find your boyfriend, Donghyun, you hadn’t even heard the door unlock while zoning out at the thought of baking, “ there you are” he came up to you placing a kiss on your forehead then your lips,

“I’m gonna bake” you tell him grabbing a bowl from the cupboard, he looks at you doubt written all over his face clearly remembering last time you tried doing this, you frown at his distrust, “don’t-”,

“no listen how about we bake?” he smiles taking an apron to put on, your face brightens up as he scoots beside you scanning the ingredients on the table,

“so have you baked anything before?” you ask him as you start measuring your dry ingredients, you turn over to him after hearing no answer he grins his eyes smiling just as much as his mouth, you take a deep breath holding back your laughter before clapping your hands together to get your energy going,

“that’s the spirit” he claps along and the process begins.

the recipe that was seemed straightforward revealed itself to be far more complicated when you both realize you had too many white powders set on the table and no way of distinguishing one from the other so you either added 1 cup of baking soda or 1 cup of flour, tasting didn’t help since neither of you were actually familiar with either so you decided to spin a wheel,

“Hyun I think the sour one is the soda” you retort as he pulls out his phone to get a wheel of to make the decision for you,

“don’t worry y/n i’ll point us to the right direction” he says as he spins the wheel, you watch carefully as it lands on number 2 which you were convinced was the flour, “wait. which one is the 2?” he asks smiling innocently you glare at him making him burst out laughing,

“i’m sorry babe, i had to” he laughs kissing you softly till you smile back at him,

you exchange roles so you mix while he pours, he gets behind you to tie your hair up as your ponytail loosens placing a soft kiss on your neck when he’s done, making you smile the feeling of his lips on your skin always did that to you.

when you’re finally popping the cakes in the oven a couple hours had passed, on the recipe it said the prep was 20 minutes.

“if they’re not the best cupcakes ever i’m gonna cry” you groan as you fall on the couch, he nods along before adding something, “we made them together they can’t be anything less” you let yourself sink into his arms completely exhausted from the whole process, he holds you in a warm embrace gently massaging your waist as you fell asleep.

the smell of freshly baked goods woke you up, and you found your boyfriend in the kitchen munching on the cupcakes,

“these are so good” he says, his mouth full of cake taking a piece to feed you with, you open your mouth and feel relieved when it actually tastes like cake.

“you thought i was lying?” he questions his eyebrows raised in shock noticing your expression you smile shaking your head as you kiss his worries away.

೫ author's note: hehe i giggled while writing this and honestly, cute idea...took me awhile to write abt it tho. i've never been to an aquarium restaurant so i'm not sure if the fish is next to you? either way, i hope you guys enjoy <3 ilysm 🫶🏼

7:30 pm -

"You must like them." Gesturing towards the sparkly fish that you'd been staring at, "That's the electric blue acara. It's known for its vibrant blue that glints in the sun." He explains calmly, eyes sparkling as he twirls his fork around the pasta aimlessly. As soon as your class ended, he texted you that he'd come pick you up and take you for dinner.

So, here you were, at your local zoo's aquarium, having dinner with your boyfriend. If there was one thing that you loved about your boyfriend, it was how precious he got when explaining anything related to fish. But what you maybe loved more was him, and how attentive he was to you.

"And that's the nemo one, I know you like that one." You smile, staring at the fish that he pointed at, and intently listening to every word he said. Letting out a quiet giggle, you add, "If I was a fish, which one would I be?" He turns back to you, eyes searching you in curiosity. God, you were just as weird as he was. He giggles before letting out a fit of laughter. "Which...hahaha...that's cute, love. You'd be the lopsided, klutzy one!!" You put your fork down, mid-chew, in fake anger. "LOPSIDED? Excuse me, sir." You roll your eyes, playfully pointing to the blue, oddball-looking fish, “Then you’re the…oh! the weird blue one!” He laughs, thinking about how cute you are, and how he's probably the luckiest man in the world to have you.

Without thinking, he blurts out, "I love you." You swallow your sip of water, putting it down as you reply, "I know, and I love you." A small smile graces your face, eyes sparkling under the dim restaurant lights. Reaching your arm across the table, you softly take his hand. He laces your fingers between his own, bringing your hand to his face to press a light kiss on your knuckles. "Tonight was really amazing, Hannie." When those words fall from your lips, you truly do mean it. It wasn't just the delicious food or the ambiance of the place; you loved how your boyfriend always knew what made you happy.

He grins, overjoyed that you liked the little thing he'd planned. Leehan knew that you would end up forgetting about Valentine's Day; most likely caught up in studying for medical school. So, he took it upon himself to treat you to a little something. "Ah, anything for my sunshine. Shall we, love?" He grins, getting up from his seat, and offering his arm for you to take. "Yes. We shall." You happily get up, taking his arm in yours, grinning up at him.

The sound of laughter could be heard from your table in the corner of the restaurant, as you both gathered your coats while discussing the various types of fish. You guys had talked about everything, from the emotionless eyes to acting like fish, making "bloop, bloop" noises at each other. A perfect date, or perhaps...a perfect date after Valentine's Day. It was times like these that you both loved the most. In every universe, you knew that you would somehow find each other and that Leehan would always be your favorite oddball. And little do you know, he knows that you're his favorite weirdo too.

KIM DONG HYUN - physical touch/gift giving & receiving !

ESFJs are.. interesting. when they're in love, every little thing their partners do, affect the way they judge their relationship. here, leehan would definitely be the one who's into physical affection a lot. for him, a day without your hugs and kisses, or cuddles right after waking up, is enough for him to jump into conclusions that maybe your day was bad, or that you had a nightmare. he'd do everything, in his favors to make your day better. leaving you in bed, with a forehead kiss, and going out of his way to bring you breakfast in bed is something i definitely think he'll do a lot! the type to be totally into pda because he desperately needs people to know that he has the most prettiest, cutest, sexiest, smartest and loving girlfriend on this entire planet!

think of gifts such as flowers, hand-made cards, CDs or cassettes, rings, things he made in art classes such as little pots, drawings, tickets to concerts or amusement parks, because he loves to spoil his babe a lot and would swim across oceans just to get you the things you like. and this would totally go both ways, too. you would exchange gifts whenever there's a special day you both would like to cherish together.

he'll probably get you hot water bags, chocolates, snacks and warm blankets when you're on your period and would check up on you frequently to make sure you're doing fine. he would give back rubs whenever you're having cramps, while you sleep helplessly on your bed.

he's completely in a trance, he only seems to want more of you. he really likes it when you shy away from him after a heartfelt kiss, turning your head the other way to hide the shyness (as if it'll do anything). despite dating him for months or even years, the way he kisses you makes your stomach flutter, and jaehyun only chases after your lips when you pull away. he's eager of course. your kisses, your lips are like his lifeline he can't live without them.

woonhak loves your nose. he thinks it's just so boopable! so kissable! how can anyone resist your cuteness! gently cups your face with his hands gives you the toothiest smile, loves the immediate response was for you to lean into his touch. the fact that you trust him so much warms his heart. pads your cheeks with your thumb and leans in just for you to feel his lips on your nose. one! and two! and three kisses! then finally pulling back, his eyes darting around, waiting for a reaction, and throwing his head back when you scrunch your nose.

he genuinely loves how your eyes crinkle with the giddiest glint. most people would find it's an odd place to kiss but your reactions are always so heart-wrenchingly adorable he can't help but let out a very big phat kiss on your nose

pairing : leehan(donghyun) x reader

content: fluff, slight make out sesh, very pouty donghyun, dorky donghyun.

A few of your friends and you had planned out a fun day after your dreadful exams but who knew it would lead to Jaehyun and Woonhak picking out a baseball match because that was their idea of fun. Since the tickets were already booked and a few others thought it would be fun the rest of you’ll decided to tag along. You’ll walked into the stadium and some of your friends headed out to bring snacks and you just hung around with the rest who were talking amongst themselves. “Y/N” you heard donghyun whisper call you. “Yes?” You asked looking at him. He had this big and bright mischievous smile on his face that made your heart flutter. “Can we go there?” He asked pointing at a distance and you saw a fish tank at the far right of the stadium. Of course he wanted to go see the fish tank. You agreed since you were bored yourself which made him very happy. You’ll snuck out without the group noticing and walked to the fish tank. As soon as you’ll reached Donghyun looked at the tank in pure fascination. He pointed a few fish that he knew in the tank, telling you about their special traits and also how to recognize them. You loved when he spoke about fish especially since he loved them so much. He always looked the prettiest when he did. Time passed by quickly and soon Donghyun received a call from Jaehyun telling you’ll to come back. To which Donghyun pouted because he didn’t want to leave so quick. “Come on” you called for him as you started to walk to the group. “But can’t we stay? I don’t even like baseball that much” he grumbled as he penguin waddled to catch up with you. He was still pouting and it made his cheeks look all round, it was adorable. Your impulsive thoughts getting the best of you made you poke his cheek as you’ll walked. Donghyun stopped and looked at you in response and then proceeded to smile. “What was that for?” He asked still smiling. “Your cheeks looked cute” you replied back honestly. Which left his face with a tint of pink as you’ll started to walk again.

The match was boring as expected. Donghyun and you were sitting next to each other and occasionally you’ll spoke about random things. You felt closer than usual towards him. Sure you’ll had always been in the same friend group and hung out but you’ll never exactly had a special bond. However you were fond of him and his cute demeanor. Soon the fondness turned into a liking and you ended up developing a crush on him but you knew you couldn’t tell him, there was no possibility of him returning the feelings. Even if he was incredibly nice to you.

“When is the break?” Donghyun asked but even you weren’t sure. You were really hoping it’s soon because sitting in this chair for so long was making you sore. “I’m not sure, why?” You asked. “Taesan said they had a surprise for me. I’m not sure what so its making me nervous” he replied. “Why is there something special?” You asked but he nodded his head saying ‘no’. “That’s odd” you admitted but at the same time you were also curious to what it could be. “I don’t want to get my hopes up but what if it’s a fish?” Donghyun said which made you laugh. “They wouldn’t give you fish in the middle of a baseball game hyun” you said and he pouted slightly. He didn’t realize you used his nickname until after a few seconds and he quietly smiled to himself. “Why you smiling?” You asked him and he nodded. “Nothing” he answered although he was very happy. “Hyun?” You asked and his face lit up as he looked at you, “yeah?” He asked. “You’re such a dork” you said and he furrowed his eyebrows. “What do you mean?” He asked still looking at you. “Nothing” you said repeating his words and ruffling his hair. First you call him by his nickname and then you ruffle his hair, why were you so keen on killing him?

After a while it was break and thank god because you were really losing your mind. After you ruffled hyun’s hair he made sure to be extra close to you. That meant he sometimes rested his head on your shoulder with your permission of course or he’d feed you popcorn randomly. You weren’t even sure where he was getting all this popcorn from until you saw his secret stash of popcorn he kept in his bag and away from the rest. You stood up to stretch while hyun was scrolling through on his phone. “Okay everyone do whatever you want but come back in ten minutes” Jaehyun directed to which you raised an eyebrow. “Why the time restriction?” You asked and he simply replied with a “You’ll see”. After around 10 minutes the announcers started to interact with the crowd which seemed pretty normal and then they announced something you weren’t really expecting. A kiss cam. A freaking kiss cam. Now you weren’t exactly sure of the probability of it landing on you but if you connected the dots on that “suprise” the others planned out, this made complete sense. You’ll watched as the camera slowly panned to an elderly couple which made the crowd awe. Then it panned to another couple and then another. They were going to do five couples and that mean there was only two left. It ended up panning on another couple somewhere below you and you just knew it would be you’ll next. “Hyun” you called and he looked at you. “I think I know what the suprise is” you said and it wasn’t after a few seconds that it dawned on him but it was too late. The camera had panned right to you and him. You’ll were there on the big screen looking like deers caught in headlights. You wanted to dig a hole and bury yourself and Donghyun shared the same sentiment. “We don’t have to” he softly said until Jaehyun and the rest started chanting. “Kiss!Kiss!Kiss!”. They were so going to get beat up by you later on. You looked at Donghyun and then to his lips as the crowd joined in on the chanting. He didn’t seem like he minded it and you had a massive crush on him. So who cares. You pulled the tshirt he was wearing and kissed him as the crowd cheered. You could hear some of your friends cheering too but it drowned out as you’ll continued to kiss, your hand tangling in his hair. He cupped your face and continued to kiss you until you realized that you’ll had been kissing from a while now. You pulled back slowly but Donghyun chased your lips since he wanted more. You smiled at how cute he looked. Your lipstick smeared on his lips and his hair all messy and fluffy. “Why’d you stop?” He asked pouting a little like it wasn’t obvious. “Baby you wanna make out with all our friends watching?” You asked as he blushed at the nickname. “Maybe?” He replied giggling a little.

pairing: boynextdoor (ot6) x gn!reader genre: fluff, headcannon

JAEHYUN

the type to go over every interaction with you he had that day while lying in bed trying to sleep

he's so down bad he's probably one of those people who tune everything out the moment you're in the vicinity

has a lovesick smile on his face every time he looks at you!! he's so whipped

probably wouldn't confess that quick, preferring to just pine after you in case you don't like him back (how is that possible honestly)

"And that's how you solve the question," you say, circling the answer on Jaehyun's paper with a blue gel pen, and Jaehyun realises that he completely missed your explanation having gotten lost in the cadence of your voice. He nods his head to act like he understood, but you see right through him.

"Jaehyun, you've got to pay attention if you want to pass the test!" you chastise him, tapping his head lightly with your pen. Jaehyun wishes that were your hand instead.

"I'm sorry! It's just..." he tries to explain, voice lowering, "you're way too distracting..."

"What did you say? I know this is a library, but you don't have to be that soft," you giggle, having not heard him, to Jaehyun's relief.

"Nothing! Um, I guess I'm just tired..?" Jaehyun tries to evade the topic, hoping you wouldn't notice that he lied, with your sharp senses and all.

"Huh," you purse your lips together, "let's call it a day, then."

Jaehyun's eyes widen in confusion. "But it's barely been thirty minutes, and we're not supposed to end until, like, two hours later."

You break into a smile, and Jaehyun tries his hardest not to scream his love for you and turn the entire library against him. "My favourite tutee is tired. How's he going to absorb more information for the next two hours? That'd be pure torture, and I can't have that. Let's go get some ice cream instead! There's a new ice cream parlor that just opened a few blocks away from campus."

You continue rambling, but Jaehyun had already stopped listening after you referred to him as your "favourite tutee".

"I'm... your favourite tutee?" he squeaks, face turning red at his voice crack. You pause your rambling, eyes wide as if you just realised what you said.

"Yeah," you speak up after a while, "you're also, like, my only tutee, so-"

"Let's get going! The ice cream's probably going to melt the longer we take to get there," Jaehyun cuts you off and stands up. You raise your eyebrows at him, unmoving.

Jaehyun smiles. "Come on, don't keep your favourite tutee waiting, yeah?"

You blush furiously, kicking his shin lightly. "You're never gonna let me live this down, are you?" Jaehyun simply shrugs, smile getting impossibly wide.

"Just so you know," he crouches down so he's at your eye level, "you're my favourite tutor, too."

SUNGHO

lovesick af

would probably say yes to anything you say (even if it isn’t a yes or no question bc his mind just blanks out every time he stands in front of you)

would probably try to impress you and would probably also end up making a fool of himself 50% of the time (but it’s okay bc you think it’s cute)

says the flirtiest shit without batting an eye sometimes too

“Hi,” Sungho looks up from his books to see you standing by the empty seat beside him, and he freezes immediately. “is… this seat empty?”

Sungho manages a meek nod, deciding against opening his mouth lest he loses it and declares his love for you in front of the whole lecture hall.

Speaking of the lecture hall, Sungho looks around at all the empty seats around him in confusion. The lecture hall has enough space for the students of his Mechanical Engineering 101 class to sit comfortably by themselves, but you chose to sit beside him. Sungho tries not to smile at that revelation.

You seem to have picked up on what Sungho’s thinking about, and you smile sheepishly. “Um, I recently transferred to this class and I didn’t want to sit alone.”

“It’s okay, I don’t mind!” Sungho dismisses your worries with a wave. “Any friend of Sanghyeok’s is a friend of mine.”

“You know me?” you perk up at the mention of your mutual friend, surprised.

Sungho feels heat creeping up his cheeks. “Y-yeah! I’ve noticed you hanging out with him around campus.”

You beam at him, and Sungho’s breath hitches. “I’ve noticed you, too! You’re always with Jaehyun, right? We should probably all get lunch together sometime.”

Sungho’s brain malfunctions at the flurry of information presented to him. You’ve noticed him, and you just asked him out (alongside Jaehyun, but Sungho pushes that fact aside). Sungho thinks he must be dreaming.

“Sungho?” you call, snapping him out of his thoughts. Sungho realises this is the first time you’ve ever called him by his name, and he yearns for the next time he’ll hear it again.

“Did you not want to hang out with us? You can always say no,” you chuckle awkwardly, feeling small under his intense gaze on you.

Sungho is quickly to wave his hands in a way that signals ‘no’. “Oh, no, I’d love to hang out with you!”

“Though it’d be better if it were just the two of us instead.”

RIWOO

he’s so shy

admires you from afar with the most lovesick smile on his face

probably wouldn’t initiate interactions with you, he’s too shy for that

pays attention to you to make up for the silence

“When are you going to confess?” Sungho nudges Riwoo after he sighs for what seems like the tenth time since they started eating at the cafeteria.

“Confess? To who?” Riwoo’s eyes widen, blatantly denying the allegation.

“Come on, Sanghyeok,” Jaehyun narrows his eyes at his friend, “your eyes have never left them the moment we walked into the cafeteria. You literally cannot be any more obvious.”

Riwoo purses his lips together and sighs. “I can’t confess to them out of the blue, man, what if they don’t like me?”

“Who doesn’t like you?” Riwoo’s blood runs cold at the familiar voice, and he turns around to meet eyes with you.

“Our beloved Sanghyeok here has a huge crush on someone,” Jaehyun says nonchalantly as you move to sit down beside Riwoo.

“Really? Do I know them?” you ask as blood rushes to Riwoo’s ears. He’s so flustered he misses the disappointed edge to your voice.

“Uh, you could say that,” Riwoo manages to choke out, “anyway, why are you here? Don’t you have Introduction to Law right now?”

Sungho and Jaehyun raise their eyebrows at Riwoo’s blatant attempt at changing the topic, and if you noticed, you don’t call him out for it.

“Damn, Hyeok, it’s like you’re the one with my schedule. Do you have a crush on me or something?” you tease, “Anyway, I dropped that class a few days ago. In fact, Jeonghan encouraged me to, for some reason.”

“Jeonghan? The professor?” Riwoo straightens at the mention of your professor’s name. He’s well-known as the “most eligible bachelor” on campus despite being a professor, and Riwoo can’t help but feel jealousy crawling through his skin.

“Yeah, he’s so cynical about that course, it’s a wonder how he’s still teaching it,” you chuckle before noticing Riwoo’s reaction.

“Don’t worry, Hyeok, you’re still the only man in my heart.”

Riwoo’s ears flush the darkest shade of red.

TAESAN

he’s a romantic for sure

has multiple playlists dedicated to you for different scenarios (when you walk down the hall, how he feels when he talks to you etc.)

pays attention to your interests (esp your favourite songs) and would check out your favourite artists or albums so he could have something to talk to you about

would probably subtly drop hints about his crush on you through song recommendations bc he’s cheesy like that

“Hey, y/n,” Taesan greets as he slides into the seat next to you, getting his lesson materials out before the class begins. “how was the song I recommended to you a while ago?”

“‘Harvey’ by Her’s? I thought it was really cute! Can you imagine being Harvey, and having someone waiting for you like that?” you launch into a ramble about the song, and Taesan finds himself smiling at how animated you are.

“Well, I don’t think you have to imagine, you probably have dozens of people feeling like that for you,” like me, Taesan almost says, but stops himself before he does.

You smile shyly at his words. “Thanks, Dongmin, but I don’t think that’s the case. I’m not very likeable.”

You sound so sad about it Taesan’s heart aches.

“y/n,” Taesan’s voice lowers with concern, “why would you say that? You’re amazing, okay? Anyone would be happy to have you.”

“Really? Even you?” you tease a little to lighten the mood, and Taesan’s cheek flush red at the sudden turn of events.

“U-uh—”

“Relax, Dongmin! I was only joking,” you giggle, lightly tapping his arm before shifting your focus to your undone homework in front of you. Dongmin chastises himself for chickening out as he looks at your focused face.

“Well, since you liked ‘Harvey’, I have another song recommendation for you,” Taesan pipes up after a while.

“Really? What’s the song?” you reply enthusiastically, and Taesan’s heart skips a beat at your interest.

“‘The Most Beautiful Thing’ by Bruno Major.”

Maybe one day he’ll be confident enough to confess to you directly instead of through his song recommendations.

LEEHAN

he'd probably be friends with you first

would pine after you for a while, afraid to confess and potentially ruin what you both have

occasionally flirts with you like it's free real estate and flusters the hell out of you, but makes no move to confess or anything after (to your frustration, because what are you guys??)

he's gives me such "what are we" vibes ngl

100% would get caught staring at you all the time

"Hey, there's something on your hair." Leehan gently grabs you arm and stops mid-walk. You hold in a breath as Leehan reaches over to brush away whatever was on your hair with his delicate fingers.

Leehan takes one look at your reaction and chuckles. "Don't forget to breathe, y/n. It's gone now."

Your face turns red at getting caught staring at Leehan. Grumbling a small "thanks", you turn around and continue walking towards the cafeteria in hopes that he wouldn't be able to see the blood rushing to your face. Leehan watches your back for a while, breaking out into a soft smile at how cute you were being.

"Hey, wait for me!" Leehan calls, jogging to catch up to you. "Anyway, Dongmin called me earlier to ask for our orders, so I helped you get a Miso Ramen with two eggs, no beansprouts."

Leehan waits to see your reaction, and just like he expected, your face morphs into one of pure surprise. "Woah, how do you know what my go-to order is?"

"Of course I do, I'm not so self-absorbed, okay?" Leehan teases, nudging you.

"Besides, it's a habit of mine to remember things about people I like."

WOONHAK

he’s a huge mess in front of you

can’t even string a proper sentence in front of you bc his mind just goes blank everytime you’re in close proximity

the boys tease him for it all the time (sometimes in front of you)

would probably need the boys to set something up for him to finally confess to you

“God, Woonhak, you’re staring again. Just go talk to them already!” Sungho sighs, nudging his friend a little. Woonhak is unresponsive, too engrossed with his ogling at you to even notice anything but you.

You, in all your glory, standing by the lockers and giggling to your friends with that sweet, sweet laugh of your he would do anything to hear, with that beautiful smile of yours he would do everything to have directed at him.

You, who is standing in front of him now and looking as amazing as ever. Wait, what?

“Woonhak, hi!” you wave a little, beaming up at him. Woonhak thinks he might just die on the spot.

His mind is reeling from the absolute shock at you coming up to initiate a conversation such that he literally just stares blankly at you without responding to your greeting like an idiot, his friends giggling to themselves at the sight.

“Are you okay…?” you wave your hand in front of him, confused at his sudden silence. Woonhak snaps out of his stupor with a jolt. “H-hey! The sun’s out, yeah? Beautiful day today, just like you— I’m sorry, I meant just like your hair! Yeah, I really like your hair.”

Woonhak mentally chastises himself, because what the hell was that, but then you burst out laughing and he feels his whole world stop, and suddenly your laugh is the only thing he hears.

“S-sorry for laughing,” you manage to choke out in between your bouts of laughter, “that was just so cute!”

“Oh, right! Anyway, I wanted to ask if we were still on for after school? You’re supposed to tutor me with math,” you exclaim, and Woonhak furrows his brows together. You guys were supposed to meet today? When did that happen?

Glancing away for a moment, he sees Jaehyun and Sungho nodding their heads aggressively right behind you. “U-uh, yeah, we are!”

“Cool! See you at the library, then!” you beam at him before turning on your heels to rejoin your friends.

“What did you guys do?” Woonhak whines, his legs feeling like jelly after his very, very embarrassing interaction with you.

“Well, we did our best friend duties and asked them out for you. You owe us, yeah? Don’t forget to credit us when you guys get together,” Jaehyun gives Woonhak a rather loud smack on the back, and you glance in their direction to see what the commotion is about.

Locking eyes with Woonhak, you let out a soft smile and a wave, and Woonhak almost squeals. Shyly, he slowly lifts his hand and waves back, his friends watching with shit-eating grins.

He is so down bad for you, but he wouldn’t have it any other way.
