I was talking to my parents about stray kids and Felix tonight. My dad asked me what Felix looked like so I showed him some photos. Then I asked if he’s heard his voice yet. Long story long my dad said with that voice he sounds like he should look like Vin Diesel. So now my dad calls Felix ‘Vin Diesel’.

And suddenly I remember why I hate shopping in stores.

Let's say I want to buy a jeans. Plain dark wash jeans. Of the 5 stores I went to today only one could even show me some. I picked all three to try on.

First pair long enough, right around the bum and waist too tight on the calves.

Second pair long enough, sadly a very low waist that ends with me sporting a muffin top. No thank you.

Third pair long enough but won't close.

The four other stores couldn't even come up with one pair. And I'm not picky about buying in the men's department. I'm used to that. I was willing to spend an unreasonable amount of money. NADA. Silch.

Even better went my attempt at shoe shopping. Yeah I can buy my 5th pair of trainers but I need a nice shoe for a cocktail/evening style party.

It should be required that the stores index the sizes they carry at the entrance. It would spare me the embarrassment and a lot of pittyful looks from the employees.

I had a good cry in the parking lot.

BTW: 38IN WAIST, 36in INSEAM, 45/46 SHOE SIZE, 18/20 US or 46/48 German clothes

And this is my normal experience going shopping for any clothes for myself. I fucking hate it. Most of all that I get hopeful that this time around I'll find something. To always be disappointed.

And people wonder why online shopping is so popular. I select my sizes in the filter and I get options. And I buy that fucking strappy heel that I will be wearing once every 4 years just because I have the option to buy it. And I buy woman's jeans that actually fit, look nice and don't make me feel miserable about myself.
