do you see the size of this man. does he need anything else. he is built like a fridge. anything, give him any blunt object and he can make it into a weapon. golf club. pipe. tree. traffic light. a car door. he's not picky, he'll work with anything (other two pictures are seongun, jonggun and joongo from lookism)

christopher reed:

for some reason i think the bident (from the hades games) or a trident. i know he's a slight fire mage, but i think he would like the ocean a lot and because of poseidons trident and all that, he'd want something similar (literally if you took the first color palate and switched it onto the hades aspect of the bident/trident i think that would be something he would love to use)

laura:

a bostaff or a baton. maybe even double wielding batons... (may or may not be inspired by jang hyun from lookism)

lennart niermann:

he's got his interesting. fighter? mage? techniques. which i think can be a varied attack pattern? both short and long range? but for some reason i'm thinking of a classic sword or rapier. slight european inspiration since he is german and all that (sword is the holy excalibur form of the stygian blade)

liu zhigang:

i headcanon they played baseball growing up, and though they double wield twin swords, i think they would do well with a blunt object. their baseball instincts would kick in and they would punt any moving object into the stratosphere. (also, their colors remind me of that one hero from one punch man that also has a steel bat - but this wasn't inspired by him, i just realized the color scheme and weapon choice was coincidental. and i happened to be rewatching one punch man with my friend lmao)

well. i'll try and get started on the few characters i missed here and there! maybe some low level korean hunters (like juhee, songi - maybe even jinah) but for now, those are all my ideas!

SL characters as movie stars AU!

Sung Jin-woo

has been acting since he was a teenager. Though, he only gets lesser roles until he grows in the acting industry, thus earning the "glow up" as well the more he takes on roles. By the time he's in his twenties, Jin-woo receives lead roles and has never left ever since due to the impact of his performance that is hard to be seen as a supporting character. His movies range from drama, adventure, and action — though, he spend most of his time in the action genre. Jin-woo does his own stunts as he does martial arts and working out as his hobbies. Whenever he gets partnered up with someone, dating rumors always spark up, so he tends to avoid having a partner for the sake of protecting his zone. He improvises some of his lines and is very professional.

Cha Hae-in

a former athlete to one of the country's biggest stars. Due to her sweetheart persona, she often gets roles in soap operas, dramas, and romance, though she wants to take on the action genre to hone her skills. Her management got her stunt doubles, much to her dismay, until they trusted her enough to do her own stunts. Hae-in's skills are very realistic that every time she cries in her scenes, several of the production cry as well, thus allowing her to earn many awards. She gets along with her co-workers and is even said to be that some of her leading men develop a crush on her. However, she has not dated at least one of them, even outside her career, as she chooses to focus on her job.

Woo Jin-chul

a star who has been featured in international movies, hence becoming a multilingual because of his passion in learning new languages before his departure from South Korea. He is usually stern, but is very friendly to his co-workers, as well as his fans. Jin-chul takes on both protagonist and antagonist roles, although he secretly likes his villain roles more than his hero ones. He does his own stunts and is skillful with holding guns.

Choi Jong-in

most of his roles are those wherein he's the son of a millionaire or just a rich person who owns a big company. He hardly gets main roles, but the impact in his performances even as a supporting character are what made him prominent in the industry. Jong-in also has roles where he's an antagonist, which his fans prefer more; it is also said that some of his castmates or co-workers feel quite intimidated by him.

Baek Yoon-ho

a prominent action star who does his own stunts. Not once he has appeared in movies that are anything but action. Despite being in his twenties, Yoon-ho receive roles where he is a single father who will do anything to protect his family, thus capturing the hearts of the young actors and actresses he works with. He also helps his castmates in training for fighting scenes, thus forming a bond with them as well. Yoon-ho has his own charity that he donates a sufficient amount of money in for helping tigers and other wild animals.

Lee Ju-hee

one of the industry's dearest sweethearts. Her movies are mostly in the slice of life genre, specifically romance. Regardless of what she believes, Ju-hee never fails to create chemistry with the ones she works with, especially to those who have partnered up with her. She receives both main and supporting roles. Lee Ju-hee may have appeared in horror and action films, but she prefers to stay in the slice of life genre despite not minding to step out of her comfort zone.

Lim Tae-gyu

a actor whose roles are primarily supporting, yet has many main roles as well. His skill ranges from drama, comedy, and action. Tae-gyu mostly does his own stunts, always allotting his time in training once he receives the script. He's charismatic, yet isn't necessarily great when it comes to romantic chemistry because of the vibe he frequently gives out. He's friends with many famous stars such as Baek Yoon-ho, Choi Jong-in, Ma Dong-wook, Min Byung-gyu, Sung Jin-woo, and Cha Hae-in, and has revealed of his wish of being able to be in the same film as them together.

Min Byung-gyu

an actor who has shown up in various genres. When it comes to slice of life, Byung-gyu mostly gets leading roles, and sometimes, he gets the "second male lead" roles, which brings more impact to the viewers. But as for other genres like action and horror, Byung-gyu takes on supporting roles; he is one of the actors who has a stunt double and still gets to do certain stunts depending on his capability. And when it comes to the historical genre, that is when Byung-gyu gets most excited and believes he does his roles better in period dramas than the rest, partly because he is a big fan of historical dramas which he views his other roles differently. Byung-gyu is great at improvising his lines that the director only has to tell him the background of the scene and Byung-gyu knows what to do next, which somehow makes some actors feel challenged as they are not sure if they can go along with Byung-gyu's improvised lines. But, Byung-gyu always does his best to help his co-stars and not make them feel pressured.

Eun-seok

one of the country's lesser known actors who is known for getting background roles. Eun-seok hardly appears in films, yet is friends with a lot of big stars in the industry. The reason being that he got severely injured in set once, which has scarred him and chose to no longer show up in filming unless he feels like doing so.

Yoo Jin-ho

a supporting actor who is well-known for being Sung Jin-woo's "sidekick" as he had been acting alongside him for years. Yoo Jin-ho specializes in roles that are comedic relief — he doesn't mind it since that means he doesn't have a lot of lines to memorize. Despite being an actor himself, Jin-ho is not afraid to unleash his inner "fanboy" when it comes to expressing his support in actors and actresses he admires.

Park Hee-jin

an actress who is known for her background or supporting roles. Hee-jin excels from soap operas to action movies. Her roles are usually helping the main character and defending them from the antagonist(s).

Ma Dong-wook

a versatile actor in his fifties who has different roles in various genres, whether it be a father or someone the main characters seek help from. He shares his experiences to his fellow stars as his way of helping them in filming and has a lot of actors/actresses wishing to act in the same movie as him; not because of his talent, but also his kind nature that he treats everyone younger than him as his children.

Liu Zhigang

China's rising action star. A likeable and charming actor whose roles are both protagonist and antagonist. Zhigang does his own stunts and likes to go to the extreme where no editing shall be involved. He's one of the faces in the industry whose management cannot simply allow to be part of a film unless the paycheck is immense and does not tarnish Zhigang's talent. In every film he is in, it receives many awards that reach up to internationals. Zhigang has acted in international films, which makes him fluent in English after being casted alongside stars in different countries.

Thomas Andre

a powerful actor in the USA who is popular for his antagonistic roles. Thomas enjoys playing the bad guy. And what makes him likeable is that he donates half of his money to charities and has his own foundation for children with special needs and disabilities. He is funny and tends to joke around in set, along in conventions where he gets to communicate with fans and gives them the best time in their lives.

Laura

an actress who excels most in the action genre. She films her scenes effortlessly and smoothly without needing a second take. Laura learns martial arts off-screen and knows how to hold a gun; she is also sassy and has the kind of humor that makes her co-stars adore working with her despite her stern and cold demeanor.

Goto Ryuji

a versatile actor in Japan who appears in dramas and action. His roles are mostly in the villain side, which what makes him intimidating to other actors. Goto prefers to work with those who are professional and hardly messes up more than twice otherwise he thinks they are wasting his time. However, he is usually gently to those who are younger and new to the acting industry, he looks out for them and won't hesitate to scold the production if the first time actors ever get hurt in set.

It is a Vidder-friendly AO3 Embed Certified Vid hosting & streaming site with over 18K vids. Its growth benefited from You Tube's increased use of content ID and the closing of Imeem. It was mentioned in the "Vidding: A History" book by Francesca Coppa. Its members (most who host some great vids there) include:

Just to name a few. You may not recognize these names but if you do you know these vidders literally made a name for themselves with the quality of their work during that time. At least in my opinion. The site is a time capsule of awesome vids even if some of the vidders listed are no longer active. Additionally, it hosts vids no longer available on You Tube like "Boom Boom Ba" by Charmax (a classic Xena vid). And yet it can still host new content without the issues faced on some other vid hosting options.

How much does it cost to host and stream all those vids? Well, that is one of the reasons for this post. The assumption I'm making is that if there is a Vidding "community" it's more likely than not that members of it would see a post like this and/or share it with fellow members of the community. Is it worth it to keep a site like this around? It's mostly been a solo operation for these past 13 years but now I am starting to wonder after such a long time.

I'll spare you the obligation of filling out a poll or survey. I'll make it simple. We have a Patreon account at patreon.com/vidding. If you don't feel it's worth keeping up. Nothing to do. Thank you for reading this far. If you feel there is some value based on what was mentioned earlier, then a minimum level of support at the Patreon is $1 a month. You'll not only be supporting the Vidders.net but other projects like the recent purchase of the Vidding.com domain name and more. The OTW October fundraiser drive begins in October and is on track to raise about 250k. Rasing even 1 percent of that amount would be more than adequate. After all Vids on AO3 make up less than 1 percent of the content on there anyway. I've been told by a fellow fan that I should keep it running but if it's not even supported by a community, it's a personal expense at my expense I am on the hook for. ryan doesn't normally drink, but when he does, he's so sleepy. he drinks alcohol like someone's dad and falls asleep somewhere quiet before he could even be considered drunk

kaitlyn is a loud drunk, she doesn't even realize her voice has gone up like three levels and she's blowing everyone's eardrums out getting too fired up about a board game

abi doesn't like the taste of alcohol, so she has to mix it in a LOT of a fruity drink. her favorite liquor is peach soju (a korean grain liquor) because it tastes like juice if she mixes it with lemonade

dylan mixes abi's drinks for her so he can use the rest of her lemonade to water down his full solo cup of malibu. he claims it makes it burn less when he throws it up an hour later. he's lying. he's a lightweight and consistently overdoes it when he's trying to impress other people

emma takes alcohol like a champ- she's classy so she prefers to get wine-drunk. it gives her horrible headaches. pioneer of the borg trend because she's a liquid iv devotee

jacob is a daring drunk- as established in-game- and he would, unfortunately, do almost anything someone asked him to. he was definitely about to strip down and hurdle the fire before kaitlyn told him not to.

nick is a giggly drunk who laughs at anything anyone says or does. he's also a puker, and he's known to do... both at once, and emma has trained herself to tell when his giggling turns to retching so she can lean him forward

max is 100% a sloppy, emotional drunk. he will sit there silently crying over how much he loves his wife (*laura voice* we're not married, max) and eventually said not wife will have to tuck him into bed because he's worn himself out

laura's naturally good at drinking- she enjoys bitter flavors and she's got a crazy metabolism so her body burns alcohol fast. she's also a loud drunk, but not nearly as loud as kaitlyn- she just laughs really loud

off of that album, it was very hard to pick favorites, but overture and acid queen are prob my top picks, i love songs with vocals but instruments always go so hard too! i feel like i listen to instrumental songs so much, they always help me focus more :) do you have any favorite instrumentals? my favs, in no particular order would have to be anybody there by rainbow, yyz by rush, forbidden city by marty friedman, eruption by van halen, or son of alerik by deep purple, but also think i'll be adding the overture from tommy by the who to my list as well!

Good instrumentals are beating everything really! Oh yes, I do have a long list of favorite instrumentals, both from bands and video games, so without further ado!

First bands - one for each: - Bonzo's Montreux by Led Zeppelin - I know, I know, it's a drum solo, but it's an instrumental so I'm throwing it here! - Flying by The Beatles - probably the only one they have on their studio albums, but I could forget about something. Either way, I love it, mainly for its atmosphere - Rockestra Theme by Wings - BONZO ON DRUMS! ENOUGH SAID! - The Mule by Deep Purple - IAN'S DRUM SOLO, ENOUGH SAID! - Cobwebs and Strange by The Who - as much as I love "Overture", "Quadrophenia", "The Rock", "The Ox", this is a fucking goat and I will defend this crazy piece of chaotic music with MY LIFE

And now to games - three for each, focusing on personal favorites: Earthboud: - Smiles and Tears - end credit theme. You know, you are at the end of a childhood adventure and you hear this while photos that were taken throughout the game by a photographer who tells you to say "Fuzzy Pickles!" each time roll on the screen... It just brings tears every time to my eyes - Because I Love You - the theme that plays when everything's over and you're walking back home. I'm a sentimental piece of shit, I love this tune so much! - Boy Meets Girl - I had troubles with choosing between this and two other town themes, but this one just sounds nostalgic to me. Maybe because while watching a let's play from it when I was tiny and when replaying the game each year I tend to stand and do nothing, listening to the theme. I just love it <3

Rayman 3: - The Fairy Council - Under The Starlight - again, a very nostalgic tune. It just sounds freaking magical <3 - The Land of the Livid Dead - otherworldly sound for a world with spirits in them. They don't make such music in games anymore *sobs* - The Summit Beyond the Clouds - snowy land with Christmas like music. Don't get fooled tho, those levels are harsh XD

Rayman 1: - First Steps - funky music very catchy, absolute favorite of the entire game! - The Stalactites' Teardrops - cave music, but WHAT a cave music! - Venomous Mr Skops - and let's give some final boss' of the world music going! The boss is shit, the stage after him is even worse, this whole game is unfair, BUT this boss theme kicks ass - DRUMS DRUMS DRUMS

Silent Hill 2: - Promise - this instrumental, this fucking guitar, THIS FUCKING EVERYTHING IN THIS ONE, BUT MOSTLY THE GUITAR. I shit you not, I had this tune on my phone ring for two years, only changed it because I felt like it, but I love it - this started the theme that my phone ring has to have an instrumental with a guitar in it - Theme of Laura - opening music theme, I get shivers by hearing it. I'm all about drums but the guitar in this one and the guitar in general, so dark, I fucking love it! - Terror in The Depths of The Fog - an unusual track, but the beat somehow gets into your eardrums, drilling slowly, not to mention the noise that gets louder later on, soundtrack to this entire fucking game is a motherfucking masterpiece, go listen to it

Ib: - Old Puppet - first instrumental in any game that made me uneasy and I was what? 12 years old maybe? Or a bit older - Memory - only musicbox, but what a good musicbox joined by other sounds later on - Dining Room - the piano in this one, GOSH. It's somehow calm at first and then it gets creepy. Just <3

Kirby 64 The Crystal Shards: - Miracle Matter Battle Theme - kicking off with a boss theme, the best one in the game for me. Quick, intense, what only Kirby music has to offer! - Inside The Ruins - I love weird music and this is the peak of it - Pop Star Theme - the "ding dong" gets me every time, I love this chaos

Kirby's Return to Dream Land: - Welcome Your New Overlord - final boss music again, because it slays. Quick, chaotic, intense the general peak of this game soundtrack - AND THE TEMPO CHANGES!!! - Otherworldly Warrior - heavy metal in Kirby? You bet your ass it is there and it's as fast paced as you could imagine. Only once did I get to fight with Galacta Knight and it was worth it. Difficult but worth it, for this tune only! - Techno Factory - plays at one of my favorite stages in Egg Engines, what could I want more?

Ace Attorney series: - Detention Center ~ Prisoner's Elegy - probably the most depressing tune in the entire series - counting in the first four games I've played only - is my favorite. The piano is a killer, I can't help it - Victory! ~ The First Victory - I was mad about this one when I heard it for the first time. It still has a special place in my heart <3 - Damon Gant ~ Swimming, Anyone? - *throws his theme here, because I love this asshole way too much* also it sounds so badass!

Undertale: - Waterfall - best tune in the entire game. Plays in a cave of some sort, with history of the world and memories seem to flow around, like soft petals of the blue flowers you can find there. Water giving that otherworldly feeling <3 - Spider Dance - old, retro, Toby Fox at his best, nothing will convince me otherwise - Respite - did you notice that I like a sad sounding piano? Not yet? Then check this one out

Deltarune: - Field of Hopes and Dreams - first one that caught my attention in this game, it has a special place in my heart as well - A Town Called Hometown - it's incredible how you can put the feeling of longing and family atmosphere into music, eh? - Spamton - this one is better than "Big Shot" somehow for me. Probably because of the sus atmosphere in it

Deponia series: - How About a Bit More Enthusiasm - for such a cheerful game this one is very depressing, but also beautiful in a way <3 - Life Goes On - a bit of hope in this one, but it hits more harder when you know the story, especially that when you first play the third game in the series you somehow start to feel like there's not gonna be a happy end. The tune somehow spoils it, very subtly - Dark and Dirty Fairy Tales - like from a fairy tale, right? Playing in the sewers actually

Homestuck - honorable mention with only one track, because I still need to finish reading it to judge properly, but this: - Descend - is a fucking masterpiece

“Helena's Theme (For Violin and Orchestra)” from Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny (2023) – composed and conducted by John Williams; solo violin by Anne-Sophie Mutter

To the vocal consternation of many awards show fans (believing this score not original enough), John Williams snagged his 54th Academy Award nomination for his score to Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny. For those refusing to delve into film scores after watching films, that is their loss (there is a distinct lack of the Raiders' March and other familiar Indiana Jones motifs throughout). Perhaps the centerpiece cue of the film is "Helena's Theme", named after Indy's goddaughter played by Phoebe Waller-Bridge. Williams took inspiration for this theme from Waller-Bridge's in-person and on-screen persona, the latter of which reminded him of headstrong female characters such as Gene Tierney's title character in Laura (1944).

The leitmotif representing Helena is modified and repurposed across so much of Williams' score to Dial of Destiny in ways that recall the unabashedly romantic film score composing from Erich Wolfgang Korngold (1935's Captain Blood, 1940's The Sea Hawk) and David Raksin's score to Laura. Williams has rarely been able to channel this level of romanticism in a film score in some years ("Across the Stars" from Attack of the Clones, perhaps?).

Now 92 years of age (91 when he was nominated), Williams extended his own record of being the oldest-ever Oscar nominee in any category. He is the second-most nominated individual of all time (and most-nominated living person), behind Walt Disney's 59 nominations.

various headcanons that i forgot aren't actually canon pt. 2

the americans (thomas, christopher, and laura), plus china (zhigang) and germany (lennart)

Thomas, Christopher, and Laura are childhood/middle school friends

Laura would always bring home stray cats and dogs

Lennart and Thomas become friends when Lennart asks for help with an S rank gate that spawned in Germany

Lennart isn't super close with Christopher, since him and Thomas tend to swing between being best friends or mortal enemies every week, but Lennart thinks he's nice

Christopher visits Europe a lot, since he's partially retired, so they get closer then as Lennart shows him around

Zhigang is usually too busy to hangout with Thomas or Christopher, but whenever the Annual Guild Conference is around, they tend to dedicate that week to hanging out

Christopher hates any mention of Kamish. Thomas doesn't care and thinks Christopher needs to get over himself. Hence their strained relationship

Zhigang is most definitely traumatized but works too hard to notice

Lennart wasn't part of Kamish, but did participate in the cleanup team. That's where he first met Zhigang and Christopher. Thomas was too busy recovering, so he never got to meet him

Hwang Dongsu gets on Laura's nerves, but Thomas usually steps in if he's eyeing her a little too creepily that day

After becoming friends, the group decided to attend the Annual Guild Conference dressed up with a theme. They've done pink (Barbie-esque), Aloha Shirts (wonder who came up with that one), emo/punk/goth, and the latest, Disney Princesses (Lennart loves Disney movies). There isn't much anyone can do to stop them. Even Laura participates

Thomas disregards a lot of his guild leader duties to steal Christopher and Laura and go on roadtrips. Sometimes, they go visit Europe to see Lennart

Zhigang basically never leaves China, being a hardcore workaholic, so they always have to plan to go see them on their birthday and for the holidays, etc

Thomas has a custom aloha shirt, except it's made to withstand S rank attacks. He used the Scavenger Guild budget money on it. As a tax write off. Laura wishes she could be mad but she's impressed he thought of such a thing

Christopher is scarred from Kamish due to seeing Thomas almost die from tanking attack after attack for him. He almost died. It sparks an argument, where Christopher leaves the Scavenger Guild, and their frenemies relationship begins

Once, Thomas sneaks up on Christopher and scares the ever loving shit out of him. Christopher accidentally sets the room on fire and sets off the fire alarm and emergency sprinklers. The entire building has to be evacuated

Thomas does the same thing (sneaking up on someone) to Lennart and his screech is priceless

They joke about putting a bell on Thomas, like they do with cats, just to be aware of where they are in the room. Laura is really, seriously considering it, because despite Thomas being 10 feet tall and built like a fridge, he can be quiet when he wants to be

Lennart casually mentions he has four sisters, and his first job was being a hairdresser in his village in Germany. This leads to him finally dealing with the mess that is Thomas' curly and knotted up hair

Zhigang got into university on a baseball scholarship, before all the awakenings happened. This is why they tend to swing their sword... like a baseball bat. And instinctively swing whenever they see an object flying at them. Thomas has recreated the game fruit ninja in real life using this information

Lennart started learning Chinese, because despite him knowing about three other languages, Chinese isn't one of them. This leads to the two of them having conversations that Thomas can't listen to, and it drives him insane (it's usually Lennart complimenting Zhigang, and then Zhigang compliments Lennart, etc etc)

Laura threatens to retire early whenever Thomas gets on her nerves a little too much and it always worries the entire Scavenger Guild, because she's kind of the only reason they're functioning. Thomas would solo too many gates on his own if it weren't for her

Lennart is one of the most put-together and polite hunters out there, but even he struggles not decking Dongsu in the face when he drops casual comments about his and Laura's physique in front of his face

Thomas has a lot of other S rankers in his guild from various other countries. He isn't very well liked, since he's "stolen" so many of them, like with Dongsu, but he doesn't mind (the trend started after Christopher left, when he no longer had a vice, or a sparring partner that could withstand his attacks. He's looking for a replacement, in a way, but it never feels right)

Someone is babysitting

Okay, I'm cheating a little bit for a good reason. I personally have hard time imagining Leon and Violetta having children and they even get married little later on. But I love imagining them babysitting Simbar's kids, because obviously they are family. So this is a crossover, kind off

"Thanks you for doing this," Ambar opened the door to Leon and Violetta. "We know you're super busy."

"Never too busy to help out family," Leon remarked, "And we love the girls, don't we?"

"Definitely," Violetta nodded as they walked inside.

"This has been whole ordeal," Ambar shook her head, "It's out 20 year reunion at Blake, which mean me, Matteo, Gastón, Delfi and Jazmin, which means everyone is going and no one can babysit, so were left scrambling. Simon's parents are in Mexico and Monica and Miguel already have Stella and Milo."

"They would have taken ours as well, but we didn't want to sentence them to the fate of wrangling four monster for hours on end," Simon came into the foyer.

"Uncle Leon!" five-year-old Ivory run to hug Leon, while Simon was carrying four-year-old Esme on his shoulders.

"I don't know why you call them monsters, "Violetta remarked as she took Esme on her arms as Simon put her down. "These two angels?"

"If you wanna call them angels go for it," Simon shared a glance a with Ambar. "Lets see what you say tomorrow."

"If you want easy babysitting, then go for Oscar, Aurora and Laura," Ambar nodded as she checked herself on the mirror, "I don't know how Gastón and Nina do it, but we should not be surprised."

"You two go off and have fun now," Leon waved them away, "We got this."

"If you get them to let all the energy out, they'll pass out way before the bedtime," Simon noted, "Dancin works. You two should not have a problem with it."

"And they're picky eaters, so don't over do it," Ambar added, "Order Pizza."

"We got this," Violetta nodded, "Don't hurry back."

"Okay girls, how about you show us your bed rooms?" Leon asked after Simon and Ambar had gone, crouching down to their level. Not that they hadn't seen the rooms before, of course they had. They had known the Alvarez girls ever sine they were born and Violetta had attended both of the christenings.

"Lets play dress up!" Esme and Ivory grabbed Violetta by her arma and started pulling her toward upstairs.

"So girls, how about we read a book next?" Violetta asked as they had finished dinner and the girls were running around the living room.

"No!" Esme yelled as she started jumping on the couch. This was probably the nergy Simon had been talking about.

"This should be fun." Leon remarked from the next to her.

"Are you pop-stars?" Ivory, who somehow had teleported herself straight behind them, asked.

"Uh, we're musicians," Leon answered to her.

"So, you pop-stars," Ivory kept insisting, "Like Daddy?"

"Yes, like daddy," Leon squated next to her, "I have a band, like him. We make music together and then performed it. Violetta is more of a solo-artist."

"What that?" Ivory asked again.

"It's like that all music I create is mine and I do it alone, even though I love performing in a group as well," Violetta though how this was best to explain to a five-year-old girl, "What I love about doing is that I can tell my stories how I wanna tell them, and it's really my passion."

"So you're like Nina?"

"Not exactly," Violetta continued, "I don't write books. I tell my stories through music, sine singing is something that defines who I am. But I do it alone, that's makes me a solo artist."

"So you're like Yam?"

"I guess so." Violetta finished before whispering to Leon, "Who's Yam?"

"I don't know," Leon shook his head, "maybe she's talking about Yamila Sanchez, the indie musician... She did work with Balsano, but I don't know if that mean that Simon knows her too."

"Prove it." Ivory said next.

"Prove what?"

"Prove what?" Leon asked.

"Prove you popstars."

"Okay..." Violetta started before getting an idea, "We can definitely do that. We'll sing fo you if sit down nicely."

"Esme sit down," To their surprise, Ivory sat down on the sofa and her sister followed her.

"Okay then," Leon remarked, "Now we'll have to sing. You pick, I'll grab a guitar from Simon's things."

"Well, what do you want that we'll sing?" Violetta sat in front of Ivory and Esme.

"A love song!" The girls cried unanimously. It was quite a surprise that they agreed. The girls looked extremely alike, only distinctive features, outside of the ages, were the haircolors. Ivory was platinum blonde whole Esme had Simon's brown hair. They clearly were quite different as people though. Esme seemed much wilder while Ivory liked asking questions.

"So they wanna love song," Violetta said o Leon as he came with a guitar. "Podemos?"

"You got it," Leon nodded and placed the capo on the right position.

"Okay, it's starting to be late," Vilu remarked after her and Leon finished the fifth song. The audience was quite demanding in the encore department. "Soon, it'll be time for bed."

"Nooooooo!"

This was gonna be harder than expected.

"We still have time," Leon remarked, "We might do what Simon suggested. Get them dancing to tire them out. So girls, how about we teach you a dance that we used to do in school?"

"Yayyyyyyyy!!!"

"What dance are you thinking?" Violetta asked.

"On Beat," Leon responded, "That will make the sleep faster than we can say Crecimos Juntos. They surely have buckets lying around here somewhere and Simon has alarming amount of drumsticks for a person who doesn't really play the drums."

"On Beat it is."

"Were back!" Simon and Ambar walked through the door the clock had just gone past midnight. "How did it go?"

"Well enough," Leon and Violetta got up from the couch, "Told you that they were angels."

"If you say so," Ambar dropped herself into an armchair and kicked her heels off. "

"You had fun?" Violetta asked.

"Very," Simon nodded, "I was just along for the ride, I mean, I didn't go to that school."

"Dad wanted to send me there eventually when we moved back here," Violetta mentioned.

"So the girls behaved?" Simn asked, "You still alive?"

"Very much so," Leon grinned, " We taught then the choreo of the Studio's theme song. So if they keep stealing your drumsticks or climbing on buckets, thats probably our fault."

"What have you done?" Simon laughed
