Akaashi Keiji x Kuroo Tetsurou

Kuroo Tetsurou, a burglar that can freeze time, and Akaashi Keiji, an investigative journalist who is immune to Tetsurou's time freeze, have a meet-not-cute inside a bank during a heist.

This is my surprise entry for @kuroakaweek Day 4 Tier 2 Forbidden love and Tier 3 "If you don't kiss me right now..."

I say surprise because I've been severely blocked for months and had no intention to participate in kuroaka week since I had nothing to post. But then this writing prompt appeared on my dashboard, grabbed me by the neck, and possessed me for half a day to write out 1.8k words of insanity. I love it!

KuroAka Week 2020 - Prompts + FAQ

As you probably figured it out if you’re in the fandom, KuroAka Week is an event to celebrate the ship between Kuroo Tetsurou and Akaashi Keiji from Haikyuu!! and it will be running from the 1st to the 7th of December 2020.

The prompts are:

day 1 = stars | pain in the ass | soulmate au

day 2 = timeskip | roommates | university au

day 3 = rain | partners in crime | mafia au

day 4 = drunk | provocation | royals au

day 5 = domestic | birthday | tattoo parlor/florist au

day 6 = stealing clothes | social media | fake dating au

day 7 = glasses | free prompt | fantasy au

In the following list there are some basic rules we ask you to read and follow to enjoy the event at the best.

We accept every type of works: fanfictions, fanarts, edits, fanvideos, manips, moodboards, aesthetics, playlists, gifsets, headcanons, metas, etc...

Every work must be tagged as #kuroakaweek. Also you can directly tag us if you want to be sure we’ll see the post, but don’t forget the hashtag! We’ll reblog every post in the tag.

You can also post your works on instagram with the same hashtags. We didn’t create an ig account for the event but if you send your ig account to us we’ll help you share your KuroAka works for the week.

Nsfw are accepted and they will be reblogged but they must be tagged as #nsfw so people can blacklist the word if they don't feel comfortable with the contents.

Prompts are just for fun, so if you’re not inspired or don’t have time to post, remember that you can decide to not follow the prompts and that you don’t have to partecipate every day of the event. You can also post after the week ends, we’ll keep the account open and check the tag in the following week to reblog late posts. If you know in advance you can’t post during the event but only after, please DM us.

Non-English works are accepted! Just be aware that, as an admin, I do not know every language in this world so I will reblog your works on trust, lol.

Day Three: Flower Shop AU

"Do you have any flowers I could give someone I'm planning to ask out?" Kuroo asks, leaning in to the counter slightly. The employee turns around with a roll of quarters in his hand and blinks at Kuroo. "Oh, hello Kuroo-San," Akaashi says, "we might've gotten some roses; I'd have to check the back. Though that might be too much for someone you're just planning on asking out. Hmmm..." Kuroo basically short circuits while the boy he's been planning on asking out for the past three weeks starts walking around the shop looking for flowers for, well, himself. He stares dumbly as Akaashi checks the petals of a small cluster of pink flowers. Mechanically, Kuroo digs his phone out of his back pocket. You asshole, he sends to Bokuto, you knew Akaashi was working here. Akaashi likes lilacs ;) Kuroo whines quietly to himself before clearing his throat to catch Akaashi's attention. "Um, do you have any lilacs?" Akaashi looks at him, puzzled. "Lilacs? Well, technically yes, since they're in season, but that's not typically something you give to a romantic interest." "Oh, um, I know. He, uh. He likes them," Kuroo explains lamely. Akaashi nods slowly before turning to grab Kuroo's asked for flowers. He rings him up and Kuroo's pays. "We usually hand these out at Valentines Day," Akaashi says, handing Kuroo a small piece of paper, "but here; you can use this to write a letter to the person you're going to give them too." Kuroo's nods and takes the pen Akaashi offers him. He cups his hand around the paper, and the younger boy seems to get the hint and goes back to adding change to the cash register. The surprise is kind of ruined, so there goes the secret admirer idea. These are for you. Text me your answer. Please. XOXO (only if you want them.) Kuroo After jotting down his number, Kuroo shoves the flowers at Akaashi with a quiet, "Here." Then he's booking it out of there like his life depends on it. Halfway down the street, his phone goes in his pocket. He's so nervous that he doesn't remember to smile at the stupid Nyan cat theme that Kenma had made his ringtone, that he'd kept just to spite the blond. I was hoping they were for me when you asked for lilacs. XOXO (because I definitely want them) Akaashi.

this is for everyone who failed something and thought it was a big deal... it always seems bigger than it is but it's never the end

my personal hc is that kuroo, yaku, daishou, mika and konoha were the scientific study group and they studied together to pass the university exam but only mika and konoha passed, so it was a big deal for kuroo, yaku and daishou but they found something else they enjoyed doing

also another hc of mine is that kuroo and akaashi share an apartment in tokyo during their university years while bokuto is often away so they mostly videocall
