I don't get the people touting palworld as a clever deconstruction like no it just sucks. Hey! Are Steve’s parents still alive in Payment? And does Bucky have a mob wife?

Hi! This ask made me stupid happy. Like, I can’t even express how happy so thank you so much.

Steve’s parents aren’t alive, his mom died not long before the story which I think for sure aided his decision to get Queenie out from under the Ward family thumb.

Bucky doesn’t yet but that could absolutely change in the future, with Steve and Queenie needing a little back up.

It’s such a small moment and maybe I just have brain rot or something but in the beginning when Splinter is talking abt why he hates humans it’s Mikey specifically that chimes in with that little “you don’t know that.” And just UGH

Even just by his tone you can tell that he knows his words aren’t going to change anything because they’ve had this conversation too many times. But also Mikey was the one Splinter almost lost that day, like if Splinter was any slower Mikey would’ve been gone.

And you just know in the minds of children Mikey equated their isolation from humans as being his fault because he almost got ran over as a baby.

Like I don’t wanna say it because sometimes leads to unnecessary angst, but children who grow up isolated from everyone else believing that they can’t confide in their parent often blame themselves for their parents decisions.

Donnie and Raph back talk and make fun of Splinter the most but Mikey does it like once and Leo does it never. So you can tell Leo and Mikey don’t get upset with their father, they get upset with themselves for the way things are and I just

ive been seeing a lot of shout outs to people who can't shower or clean or brush their teeth, which, good, but i also wanted to make a different, more specific type of post, so:

shout out to people who have to sacrifice certain hygiene practices (or what the general public considers clean/dirty) because of their disability

shout out to people who can't use wash cloths or alternatives

shout out to people who can't cut, trim, clean or file their nails

shout out to people who can only shower in hot water, causing outbursts of rashes, acne, etc

shout out to people who sweat or smell so much that deodorants/anti perspirants don't do anything for them, or who otherwise can't use them

shout out to people who can't use most soaps or shampoos

shout out to people who can't participate in skin care (lotions, face masks, etc)

shout out to people who can't shave and have issues with hygiene because of it (i.e, smelling worse or sweating more)

shout out to people who can't use menstrual products easily/at all

shout out to people who can't brush or comb their hair

shout out to people who can't brush their teeth, tongue, gums, etc

shout out to people who need a caregiver to help them shower, no matter how much help they need

shout out to people who have bladder or intestinal issues and therefore struggle with bodily fluids/being gassy/etc

shout out to people who have to clean parts of their body by “soap flow” because they can't reach to wash properly

(this also applies for any sort of struggling, not just “can't”!)

So I just had the vague memory of something you’d written a while ago and went through your archive looking for it, and I’ve now spent like 30 mins reading through almost all your posts because I forgot how much I love all of your ideas. So I just wanted you to know you’re still one of my favourite writers 💜

I absolutely should have responded to this sooner, but truthfully I've needed to revisit frequently, and i didn't want to lose it.

I've been writing 200 words a day based off advice i saw I'm a Tumblr post. Basically it's enough to feel like I've done something, but also not too much that it feels overwhelming. But there's days when it is anyway, and there's days when I wonder how much it even matters whether I write the words or not.

But then i remember this message and it genuinely helps get my brain out of the loop. You are such a kind, wonderful person, and if my silly ideas make you happy then of course they matter.
