Warm woollen fingerless mitts for my godmother for Christmas. Got this yarn for a different project originally but the gauge was nowhere near right - but I decided to use it for this instead and it turned out lovely!

Cosy Comforts Ahead: Reintroducing Hand-Knitted Fingerless Gloves to My Etsy Shop!
As the cold season continues, I am delighted to announce that I am working on a new addition to my inventory that will keep you snug and stylish all season long. Yes, my hand-knitted fingerless gloves are making a comeback! I used to make them when I started my business, but after some time they kind of fell on the wayside. However. I have two things on the wip pile this week. There's more but these are the ones I've actually worked on.
The first one is the chicken blanket. I'm about halfway done now. I'm at least halfway done with making the individual squares. 194 of these fuckers in total, 97 left. I'm sick of it, so I'm working on it to get it done asap.
The second project is a pair of gloves. I've had this glove on the needles since March but have been working on finishing the hat and scarf this year before it got cold. Seeing as how it's going to start getting cold this week, I figured I'd throw a couple rows onto this glove to get it truckin along. I hope to have this pair done before the November chill smacks me in the face.
I really hope I don't run out of yarn before I finish the second glove, that would be devastating because I've had this yarn for a couple of years so the dye lots would most likely be noticably different. If I have to, I'll make the fingertips the grey color. I also intend on grabbing some metallic thread to add to my thumbs and pointer fingers so I can hopefully use my phone with them on.
